I red some time ago that the mayor of Quezon city closed all girly bars.
And Cubao city is a part of Quezon city as far as my knowledge reaches.
So can anybody confirm all the barfun is gone in Quezon and cubao (and maybe even in Marikina and Antipolo).
I was in all locations 5 years ago. For the average farang it is all to expensive, but the same I say about Pasay and ermita and malate.
I am Dutch so my English is not perfect web administrator, you try type in dutch or Tagalog once.I'm sorry, but I never made it to QC. There was simply too much action in Makati. Hahaha.

I meet a lot of girls in Manila and lately I noticed that almost all girls know my full name there is no privacy anymore. I found myself at disadvantage here because often I don't know the girl full name (then again I don't bother to find out).I hope you are speaking for yourself mate. In over 20 years in this hobby, no once have I dropped the ball on my privacy. The girls know me by the name I wish to be known. Sure, your boarding pass, baggage tags, hotel TV display could all give things away, but that is down to how careful you are. Please avoid generalizing this.
As for sending money online, even to girls you know and want to see again, that is a slippery slope. But you know that already.
I'd like to talk about privacy and the methods you use to keep yours in this digital world!

Often I send girls a Grab. It presents two advantages, the girls is flattered that you send her a car, and you can monitor where she is, which is such a useful information vs. The girl telling her she's OTW when she's not. But if the girl pays attention, she can see your full name on the phone of the driver.
At the hotel when you go take shower, when you take a nap, the girl will often turn on the TV. In any semi upscale hotel when you turn the TV on, it displays a message like "Hello John Doe, welcome to our hotel blah blah ".
Note that aside from the digital world, when you go take a shower the girl can simply check your luggage tag but if you're smart you can take it off.
When you're in the hallways or at the buffet, hotel staff tend to call by your name especially if you're a regular client or what they consider a (semi) VIP (IE: you're a gold or platinum member in their hotel group loyalty program).
When you're home girls will ask you for 500 pesos to buy rice or whatever. Once in a while with a girl you want to see again, you're inclined to send her. Now the girl are smart they have paypal and of course if you send them a paypal there goes your privacy).
If a girl wants revenge, wants to blackmail you claiming she's pregnant etc. I can see a lot of reasons where the lack of privacy can become a problem. Especially for those fishing on dating sites and making semi fake promises and having girls dreaming of a better future getting brutally dumped after the first date!If you are not a liar, cheat or scammer what's there to hide?
I never understood this "privacy" thing.

My name is common (first and last name) so it is useless by itself for anyone to find me. My phone is dedicated to Philippines so all pinay calls are corraled there. Other precautions I take are that I do not ever use Facebook, try hard to avoid getting in photos, and always pay by cash in country avoiding CC identity theft. My phone and laptop are password protected so useless if looked at while I am in the shower or sleeping. Maybe I am too complacent for some gents but I am divorced with no SO to worry about. The biggest hole I see in my privacy is the hotel registration detail made thru a lodging travel site. With inside help from a desk person someone could find out a lot.

If you are not a liar, cheat or scammer what's there to hide?
I never understood this "privacy" thing.I am not concerned either. In 30 years of mongering I have never had a problem with girls knowing my name. Hell, I exchange Line & Viber ID's with the girls I like even after a first night. I exchange email addresses and a lot more with my perennial repeat girls. My favorite girls all know my name. So what ? I am a single/divorced American man. I trust my girls not to do anything real stupid, so as to upset the apple cart and force me to drop them. The worst blowback I have ever received was the occasional sob story and a plea for some wired money.
I would not enjoy this sport half as much as I do if I worried about my ID falling into the "wrong hands", or getting a girl pregnant, or even catching something. It is all part of the game. Use your senses and don't be stupid. That's all. Basically there is nothing to worry about. I might add that I am not a politician's son or a public figure. I got nothing to hide. I am an open book. I like young Asian girls and they kind of like me back in their own way. If anyone has a problem with that they should stay home, get married, eat too much, and never get laid. Ha Ha. Up to you.
If you are not a liar, cheat or scammer what's there to hide?
I never understood this "privacy" thing. What if he has an SO? I know a case where my buddy was screwed by a Filipino free lancer. He helped her get a visa to the US, and she spent a month with him. He got her a hotel room and even took her to Vegas. But she was expecting to stay in the US and marry him. When it did not happen, she wreaked havoc with his life. She managed to get most of his email addresses and passwords.

If you are not a liar, cheat or scammer what's there to hide?
I never understood this "privacy" thing. What if the girl is a liar, cheat, or scammer? Knowing your name is already half the battle. Being from the streets, everybody had a street name and nobody went by their government name. I guess that is where it comes from with me.
Hell, even most hookers or strippers do not use their real names. Sometimes I act like I do not believe they are the age they tell me and in their anxiousness to show me wrong they whip out their ID that has their real name on it.
I will admit that in all these years I don't think there has been an issue, but it is all just a part of covering your tracks. Just like you put your valuables in the safe and hide the minibar stuff, you also give them a fake name.
I'd like to talk about privacy and the methods you use to keep yours in this digital world! Some guys take the whole second persona to a whole other level. They are welcome to do this but, in all honesty, I think the only person that they are kidding is themself. You've mentioned several ways that a girl can get a John"s true name etc. I'd also suggest that asians generally have a far broader circle of friends and family than we do in the west. Add in endemic corruption and it would be extremely easy for any girl to get accurate contact details from hotel, transport etc personnel if she wanted.
I keep a second travel phone with it's own contact apps etc and I'm careful that it doesn't cross pollinate my regular home phone and accounts. I certainly don't want difficult to explain messages or friend requests appearing on my civilian FB account for example. This is more for my civilian life's benefit than the girls'.
I tend to treat girls half decently and make it clear that I never send cash while we are not face to face. For these reasons they have an incentive to keep me on side rather than try for extorsion etc.
The very few times that girls have tried to get extra cash from me, I've found that it's very quickly over when they find it won't be forthcoming. I've never had them put any effort into vengeance for it's own sake.
Cheers. G.

If you are not a liar, cheat or scammer what's there to hide?
I never understood this "privacy" thing.I've visited Manila 3 x to 4 x a year for the past 10 or 12 years. I've had a few problems. Maybe 1% of my "dates".
I'm pretty sure I treat the girl very well, but let's be realistic not every girl that we meet are mentally balanced, and that's a potential issue if a nutjob passes your screening process.
In no particular order I can remember a ladyboy from Tinder that omitted to mention being a LB and not handling rejection too well. He / she threatened that her uncle or whatever worked in the Police or border police and would make my life miserable. Despite my solid experience the level of hysteria made the situation a bit hard to handled. I've had one girl that the pregnancy blackmail 7 or 8 years ago, and another one that demanded money with insistence claiming I gave her herpes or some minor STD like that (she wanted 5 K to pass some dermatological tests at Makati Med), but as I do full STD screen test every 3 months I am more than certain that I have never transmitted any disease to a girl.
I don't mind that all my regular girls have my full details, but I'm not particularly pleased if a bar girl knows my details, potentially share it with her mamasan and coworkers. Then they can google you, find your address, your linkedin profile etc. Being single I'm not too worried but not really pleased either.

In Angeles it's probably easier than elsewhere because in AC you can be whoever you want pay the hotel in cash. But in Manila and many countries hiding from your digital trail is hard. Most hotels requires Credit card and ID, using taxi vs grab is really annoying, using a shitty Nokia burner with a prepaid SIM is not as pleasant as using an iphone etc.
It's not exactly easy to go to the lobby of the hotel and tell them please change my name from Gunter Schmit to John Doe on the TV screen and make sure the personnel always refers to me as John Doe.
Most (if not all) escorts services requires you to leave a lot of information about yourself. Dating girls online leave a digital trail with your IP, metadatas on your Pc or Phone so that leaves bar girls. Oh wait all bars have CC TV's. So that leaves crack heads in dark alleys.
These days Girls always ask for you FB / whatsapp / viber etc.

I found myself at disadvantage here because often I don't know the girl full name (then again I don't bother to find out).!If you want to know the girls real name just offer to wire her some money. She has to give you her real full name from her ID to pick up the wired cash.
My concern for my privacy is only for Identity theft in a 3rd world country where I don't know anybody important enough to help me out if all my credit cards, bank passwords, and ATM card are frozen. That would be hell in shitsville. I'd be calling a regular and asking if she has space for me to sleep on the floor of her hut.

He is no victim.
How did She get his email addresses and passwords? He let her get it.
How did she get expectations of marrying him?
My brother introduced me to this hobby close to fifty years ago. The first thing he told me was to never give these girls your real name. I have done that ever since and it has worked well for me. I have no intention of changing that.

With the world going cashless in the next 10/15 years it will be even more difficult.
Most of us agree on that. But don't you find it increasingly difficult to achieve in this digital world?.In the digital world have 2 phones (just buy a 100 euro 2nd phone) download WhatsApp and set up for using a foreign sim card when you get to your location.
Create a fb account and only access that account on your mongering phone.
Download Wechat, tinder and the other apps you need.
Once you set things up you can change your sim card from different countries without changing your apps, including WhatsApp.
You will need a new Google email for download.
Never put your real SIM in this phone or login to your real fb account.

GEThis seems a little draconian to me considering the PI has only 3 new cases of Corona making it 52 total cases since the virus landed. But Duterte, like all other world politicians, wants to be seen by his people as taking a leadership role against this worldwide contagion.
So let me get this straight; international flights from places like the USA and Japan are still allowed, but no domestic flights or travel of any kind from metro Manila to the rest of the PI. Interesting. Total containment. Forget AC. It is time to party in Manila! Welcome to the year of the Corona.

I think in this guys case more research should have been done before bringing a unbalanced person over.
I have nothing to lie about and yes some are unbalanced and have done damage, shit happens. Integrity is important. Treat people as you would want them to treat you!
PP.
You may not be able to completely use a fake name, but you can make it more difficult for them to actually find you and match with your real identity.
Use a variation of your name, some diminutive that you never use. Say your name is Johnathan and you usually go by John. For mongering use Jack or Johnny. It helps if you have a common last name. It may be difficult to match Johnathan Q Smith with Johnny Smith.
Have a dedicated online profile, social media, emails accounts etc. These are easy to set up. Tell a fake birthday, tell a different country if you can get away. I am Canadian buy can easily pass for American. Do not let anyone name tag a picture of you, I keep my real social profile pretty quiet and low key anyway for privacy reasons.
Have a dedicated mongering sim and phone.
Personally I don't bother. I have no reason to hide my real identity, I am divorced so no SO issues to worry about. I have had a couple of girls blow up my phone with messages but simply block them and they go away in a couple of days.

Are you saying Angeles City will be locked down?I looked for the official proclamation that I read yesterday but couldn't find it. As I recall, and I'm old and my memory may be faulty, it's not a complete lockdown, though Koreans and some other nationalities won't be permitted entry. BUT, there's a national proclamation regarding "social distancing" and I'm guessing that even without a lockdown, this will affect the bars and restaurants. As I've mentioned in a prior post today, the AFP has now been empowered to arrest people who do not adhere to the social distancing requirements.
My personal take is that now is not a good time to travel here. Those arriving on international flights at NAIA will not be able to leave Manila for any domestic travel. Those arriving at Clark might be able to get into Angeles but will not be able to drive into Manila.

I can change my flight to come in to CRK for next week and fly out of CRK to home(USA) 2 weeks later. I would hate to be in a lock down in AC and not be able to make a round trip to Tacloban within the 2 weeks.
I have no need to go to Manila.

As of now at NAIA, foreigners from Covid-19 countries with significant community transmission—including the US, Canada and at least half of Europe—aren't permitted into the Philippines. I just read the directive today. The exceptions for foreigners are permanent resident visa holders and a couple of others I don't remember. It's a good idea to check again the day before you debark for the country.

DOH REPORTS 34 NEW COVID-19 CASES; SEEKS PUBLIC COOPERATION.
Press Release / 14 March 2020.
The Department of Health reported 34 new COVID-19 cases (PH65-PH98), bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 98. The details of these new cases are currently being validated by our teams and will be provided to the public as soon as the information is available and verified by the Department. In addition, we are also verifying reports of additional cases.
"Now it is our turn to do our part in mitigating the spread of the disease. The DOH earnestly asks for everyone's cooperation. Our frontline health workers and medical personnel are risking their safety to respond to the needs of the public, all we ask is for you to do your part: practice preventive measures, go on strict home quarantine if you are experiencing mild symptoms, and help halt the spread of fake news. The success of our measures to contain COVID-19 is hinged on your participation. We will get through this together," the Secretary added.
"At this most trying time, our strongest weapon as a nation is Vigilance, Preparedness, and Solidarity. We are seeing these values at play now as DOH is receiving an influx of support from individuals and organizations who are willing to render assistance in any way they can. Let this be a reminder for all Filipinos to step up to the plate and heed the call for cooperation," Health Secretary Francisco Duque III remarked.
On Health Workers being Reported as PUIs and PUMs.
DOH reported that the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) is limiting its services after several health personnel were exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 case.
The confirmed case (PH37) was the previously announced mortality last March 12 who was admitted at PHC. PH37 was reported to have no history of travel and close contact to a confirmed patient. Several of the PUIs and PUMs were exposed to PH37. Prior to the confirmation of the PH37's diagnosis, healthcare workers were managing the case as a non-communicable case and were unable to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
As of 2 PM today, PHC has 13 patients under investigation (PUIs) - 12 health workers and one (1) non-health person. PHC sent home four patients under monitoring (PUMs) today who were previously quarantined in a restricted area in the hospital, while an additional six (6) PUMs are still quarantined in the facility. They are also currently verifying the number of PUMs in home quarantine.
As of now, PHC is limiting its hospital operations to accommodate in-patient and emergency cases only. Services in the Outpatient Department were temporarily stopped last March 11 and are expected to reopen on March 16. The Catheterization Laboratory where PH37 had her procedure was also closed and disinfected. Hospital services for Z-benefit packages and elective cases are temporarily cancelled until further notice. Currently, the human resource complement of PHC is being realigned by the management to provide continuous service to the admitted patients.
In addition, Rizal Medical Center in Pasig City has also reported several health workers being exposed to the COVID-19 virus. DOH is still verifying data on the exact figures and the updated conditions of the health workers.
"I assure our health workers that you have the full support of the whole Department as we go through this ordeal together. I commend the commitment of our health workers, who amidst the risks they are currently facing, are still serving and saving the lives of our kababayans. Our commitment to safeguard the health and well-being of our healthcare workers remains to be our priority," Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III said.
On Advice for Travellers from NCR.
DOH advises all travellers coming from the National Capital Region who are without symptoms to undergo strict home quarantine for 14 days. Travellers from NCR who are out of the region will be considered as PUMs. Travellers from Metro Manila with fever and or any respiratory symptoms will be considered as PUIs and are advised to seek medical attention from a health facility.
The DOH reminds the public that all land, domestic sea and domestic air travel to and from Metro Manila will be suspended beginning March 15,2020, 00:01 H. Residents of Metro Manila are advised to stay in their homes and avoid unnecessary movements within the area.
"Let us cooperate with our healthcare workers and local government authorities to stop the spread of this disease to other communities. The Department is issuing guidelines for the health and safety of all Filipinos. In turn, let us follow these stringent infection prevention interventions without fail. Only through the genuine help of all Filipinos will we be able stop this health emergency. " the Health Chief concluded.

Hi Guys,
Anybody know if LA Cafe currently open, will be in Manila for the weekend all going well.
I was there late Saturday night. There was a lively crowd. 50/50 m / f ratio. Mostly (all?) older women with kids. The word at that time was they would reduce hours to 7 am-7 pm starting next day (Sunday). I haven't been there since to confirm this. Frankly I wish I could go home early as the malls are supposed to close, the gym in my hotel is closed as is the buffet, many of the better restaurants are closed and the the 8-5 curfew.
Hi Guys,

.They are consistently inconsistent. The girls that I target are not Rhodes scholars.
Not a good time to come to Manila. My hotel in Pasay that I booked & paid for 3 months ago is kicking me and everyone else out tomorrow. Yeah for my last night in PH I had to get another hotel. Not sure why some hotels are closing and others aren't. As I write this at 6 pm Tues the pool, fitness center, spa, virtually all restaurants, definitely all bars, are closed for next month. Pretty sure that includes LA Cafe. An hour ago the escort agency that was sending me a girl notified me she was stopped by police while trying to get a taxi and sent home. Do yourself a favor cancel all your travel plans and stay home for the next month.

Apologies to Paladin. My comments are no reflection on you. Glad to hear you had a great time but I'd agree her pricing is totally over the top. I'm guessing in the current times she would struggle to get 2 - 3 k for an all nighter.
Enjoy. G.

Enjoy. G.Hello fellas,
I have Smooci membership and can see her whole profile and actually, she has more than one review per month! I am stuck in Manila and I think I do want to check her out. She has very interesting reviews and all of them verified too. The only thing that bothers me is she doesn't want to send a photo of her face. I will try. My sorry arse is stuck in Manila for a month might as well play around.

Check out the Reviews: coincidence that she's only getting one sucker a month??Oh there are plenty of suckers out there. Also plenty of gents I would not consider as suckers who think little of tossing this kind of cash for a hottie. The idea that they should comparison shop is not in their head.
Even non-hotties, and that includes some of my regulars, continue to tell me stories of clients who drop large cash on the girl on every visit (in addition to expensive resort trips). I love hearing these tales. Paladin thanks for the price update.

The Philippines is a very strict Catholic country and the people have very high moral standards. They are religious and God fearing and girls generally remain chaste before marriage. Prostitution is also illegal. You will not be able to bring a local girl up to your hotel room unless you can produce a marriage certificate. Please do not offend the hotel staff. Remember, you are a guest in the country so please be culturally aware. Save your sexual adventures for Thailand or other countries where prostitution is acceptable.
The Philippines is safe for foreigners as long as you do not venture on the streets on your own at night. People are desperately poor, and lone foreigners on the streets make for easy mugging victims.Hahahahahahaha, lmfaoff. Visayan translation for catholic: LBFM.

And she does not look like her age, I can vouch for that. I am not the type of guy who noses around a girl's personal life, so I admit I do not really know much about her. On my personal experience, by the way she dresses, speaks and carries heraelf I have a feeling she works in the BPO industry or something like that. Not the typical hooker from the street who always has the single mom left by the boyfriend story.
I am a Filipino so probably I can I say that I can read Pinay girls pretty well. Her English is pretty good, not native level but better than the Philippine average. As I come from Visayas and have a horrible Tagalog accent, we converse in English.
I do not think she is delusional. Demand for sex has gone lower but so does the supply which pretty balance themselves. Besides, she might not really need the money but simply enjoys what she is doing (either she has a longing for sex or she just likes to please guys).

And if she works in the BPO field or similar, then she'd know how ridiculous the rates she's offering are as she'd probably only make 30 k in a month by working mad overtime 12+ hrs a day 6 days a week. Yet Somehow it's supposed to be worth it paying her that for 24 hrs?
I'm not knocking you for paying for her services, what you do with your money is your choice. I get it, some guys might have a flight upcoming and want a sure thing without wasting time hunting, or some guys are on the company credit card and don't care how the money is spent.
But I will definitely knock her for the overinflated prices she's throwing around, she'd be better off targeting those who know nothing about the Philippines, or those who have KTV Money to burn. Even the big spenders on burgos would laugh at her because burgos offers more bang for the same amount.
As others have said, she only needs a few to fall for the bait.

IMO, these guys you talk about should be shunned by all members here. They are selfish b**tards who screw things up for everyone, Those that we should shun are not usually known to us. They come in several categories:
1) Newbs who would not want to overpay, but do because of a lack of knowing the regular prices.
2) Weekend warriors, who are aware they are paying high-end and don't care.
3) Gents who can easily throw lots of cash around and not miss it. The don't comparison shop. When I need a toothbrush in a hurry, I don't care if I'm buying it from a high-end grocery store for p200, or a cheap Gaisano for p49. First grocery store in sight gets the sale, no wasting time shopping if I see what I need right now.
Maybe other categories also. You and I won't be able to stop any of that.
including the girls. There is some real truth to this. I normally give Wilma (not real name) p2000 for LT. One day she tells me the story of her friend Betty, whose guy game to town, took Betty (and her 2 kids) to a resort for 3 nights, and handed Betty 30 k for the total of 5 nights he spent with her (only 2 nights alone for sex). And that guy is now sending regular large allowance. "Westy why you don't give me like that?" Dunno, maybe Betty has bigger melons?
At times I felt (before) that kind of thing ruins the situation for guys who pay less. I learned to tell the girl she has always been fine with 2 k, be smiling happy with it, or move on. No seller's remorse, please. Later I have an expanded story about a Betty / Wilma situation.

Who would care if they were shunned? I wouldn't. Shun me all you want. It's not like I am here to socialize with the shunners. I am here to fuck the sub stunners.
Selfish bastards? Hahahahaha. Who doesn't think about their own dick? Who goes out thinking about someone else's dick? Not you.
Btw, if I was stuck in lock down and she was the only one available and willing to come to my hotel for LT I would probably pay 7500. I would have to change my budget around but it would not be hard becuz I ain’t spending money anyways. If she was good then I would propose a bundle price like 15k for 3-4 visits.
I have a Smooci membership and she has more than one review per month. It seems like if you're viewing her as a non-member you only see the best reviews.
As hobbyist I don't think it is our right to tell providers how much they charge. There's a lot out there for us. There will always be free to 2,000 pussy. Maybe this lady is catering to a different market. From the verified reviews it looks like she has some good business sense, a good skill set on and off bed. It got my attention so now I will try to make a booking. I will report back.

Anyone here still stuck in Manila with nothing to do? If you want to have sex right now and are willing to pay the price, my favorite girl is available right now with a special offer.
https://smooci.com/escorts/lukpMRNothing wrong with her. I'd fuck her.
30 k peso is a drop in the ocean for her target clientele. Well paid Korean and Japanese business executives would think USD 600 for 24 hours would be cheap. Note that she claims to know basic Japanese. The benefit of girls in this price bracket is that in addition to being more forward thinking and knowing how to carry themselves in upmarket surroundings (grooming, dress, conversation), they are less likely to turn on the drama.
Has anyone tried to hire a white hooker in the West for 24 hours? That would cost between USD 2,000 to 6,000, so Miss Erin is indeed a bargain.
The mongers on this board are often not in any position to judge value, nor do they keep abreast of the true situation in the West. It is they who are delusional, not Miss Erin. These mongers hunt at the lower end, and some would think even paying 1,000 peso for LT is too much.

As others have said, she only needs a few to fall for the bait. She is an independent. She can set her price to whatever she wants. If she decides to charge a million per minute, it is her right. Whether one would pay or not is another story. But she is not forcing anyone to pay, so she is doing nothing wrong. Probably if nobody is booking her for the prices she have right now, she would be forced to lower them. That is the wonder of free market. I'll be damned if I see socialists here among mongerers. LOL.
Her rates are about the same as cheap, shady escorts in Europe. It is half of typical soaplands in Tokyo. And having experienced those I have mentioned, her quality of services are superior. Otherwise, I wouldn't have posted about her.

I'd fuck her too, just not for 7. 5 k for one shot. Fuck I can get a quickie for cheaper in London with a girl that's just as hot, and no not skanky.
Just for comparison 7. 5 k is a few thousand (2-3) below what a lot of doctors earn per week in Manila.
But each to his own. I salute her if she's actually convincing marks to pay that on those terms in the Philippines

Just because someone has more capacity to pay than you in the free market, you would cry foul? Much more, you recruit others to join your cause to shun others. You are funny. That all depends. Shit is relative. If you fall sick and they tell you there are no corona virus test kits available or they tell you it will cost you $500,000 for the test, would you cry foul when you see all these rich actors and athletes have been able to take the test when they don't even appear to be sick?
Hopefully I'm wrong but with testing almost non existent outside Bangkok and here costing 6000 baht which puts it outside the reach of most people.

Because if I were in their shoes, I would probably do the same thing. I do not whine like a fuckin loser just because somebody else can afford what I cannot. And if there really is a test kit that is $500,000,there would always be a group of good Samaritan scientists who would try to develop kits at an affordable price assuming some government shitheads would not intervene in the process. Think Dr. Jonas Salk and his polio vaccine.
Anyway, I slightly went out of topic. So I would like to say that if anybody here finds a price of the girl too high, then they should not just avail of her services. No need to bullshit me or any other people who wants her because I have the right to spend money on whatever I want because I have worked for it.

Her clientele isn't limited to Japanese and Koreans. There are the businessmen from Europe who do not come to PH for fucking. Instead, in his limited free time during the night he would want a "relaxation" with a nice lady. Also, there are the 'bourgeois' provincial locals who spend a few days in Manila either for business or stopover to go to other countries, like me. Yes, we do exist. Unfortunately, for mongerers coming here they do not have knowledge about the Philippines's middle and elite class people because they only collaborate with girls from poverty class.
In summary, there is enough market for her. And high society Filipinos prefer English to Tagalog so it is not really a waste advertising on an english medium. You may complain about her high rates, but there are other ladies on Smooci with lower feedback ratings but with waaay expensive prices if you try check out.
I have girls from all of the top 5 unis on call, I don't give them 7. 5 k for one pop. I've had a marketing executive, an engineer, actual FHM models and even a journalist on call, I didn't give them 7. 5 k for one pop, some got 7 k for a day while others were happy with the same amount for a week of fun. Some of us who come to PH for the fucking (as well as the natural beauty) have done our homework enough to know the value of what we spend here relative to the environment. I've met enough middle and upper class filipinas who do this for actual fun to know what the value of 7. 5 k is in the Philippines.
I don’t doubt there are local and international mongers who don’t mind dropping 30k for one round or one day of poon. I too can afford to drop that (no, I’m not a millionaire), but it just wouldn’t sit right with me knowing what I know.
Like I said before, I get why some guys might be inclined to pay those rates. I've been in that situation myself but I know well enough to not even bother going with that rate because it will bug the hell out of me knowing the value of service I can get for that by simply opening my contact list.
Again, if she's able to convince guys to pay up under those terms, kudos to her!

https://smooci.com/escorts/lukpMRHey Paladin, did you really expect the ISG reaction would be anything other than what it has been so far? I wouldn't get too perturbed if some BM's think your favorite girl is nothing special or way overpriced. If you like her then that is all that matters.
My opinion is she looks good and she has the kind of body proportions I like, but I do think her price is a couple of thousand over the rate of other girls in her class. I know a few stunners, better looks that your girl, that I have payed a lot more for. Ha Ha. I see she has a high model rating on Smooci so maybe that is why she is worth the premium ie because she really delivers the goods. Or maybe you are getting a better deal than her plain vanilla offering. Who knows? Who cares? But in your original post you say she "is available right now with a special offer. " That lead me to believe there was some give and take in her ask due to the fact there are so few takers in MNL at the moment and she must be aware of it.
Anyway this is all real subjective stuff, so if others disagree with you, don't take it personally or try to defend your girl or your preference for her. Just enjoy the honey and let others enjoy theirs.

Who's on the ground? No International arrivals into Manila only CRK. VERY limited mobility for you and girls should you actually be able to arrive. Read the last few pages here for an indication of restricted hotel and condo access for girls.
Can you even get a flight into the country and return to your own? Most western countries have banned international departures and arrivals. The same for transit airports. You certainly won't be travelling via Japan, Singapore nor Hong Kong.
Full disclosure: I'm not actually in country now. I was due to be but had my flight cancelled. I've received full refunds or credit vouchers for all flights and hotels so I'm just going to delay my trip. I'd suggest you do the same.

What's the situation in manila like recently? I have a hotel and flights book for end of April that I bought 3 months ago. Can't get in touch with the hotel to cancel or see how the situation is. Who's on the ground? The NCR is in a deep lockdown state. Evening curfew. All malls, sports arenas, churches, entertainment venues (as in: our fav bars), and other gathering places have been closed. Grocery stores, pharmacies, and government offices are open. Most restaurants will be closed, or open for take-out only. Many Residences (condos and apartments) have stopped accepting new tenants during the lockdown period. Many have put a stop to bringing in guests. Someone posted a link here recently of an article online showing thousands of foreigners were expelled from their hotels in the NCR because their reservations had expired; at the end of their reservation the hotels booted them and would not allow them to re-occupy (many were quickly homeless as they would not be accepted at other hotels). Grocery stores are requiring customers to wait outside in a single-file line, social distancing, allowing 1 customer in as 1 customer goes out; it could take you half an hour or more in line to get inside. Get used to seeing the sign: "No mask, no entry". Get used to getting your food delivered from restaurants to your hotel / condo: Foodpanda or such delivery service.
Its possible your hotel is out of business. Google their phone number and dial them directly. Hopefully the lockdown goes away in mid-April.

What's the situation in manila like recently? I have a hotel and flights book for end of April that I bought 3 months ago. Can't get in touch with the hotel to cancel or see how the situation is. Who's on the ground?I am. I am in Shangri-la Fort. No restaurants, lounge or room service but Raging Bull is open for take outs. I booked the escort you guys were arguing about but because the hotel won't let new guests in (a guy stands by the elevators and checks everyone coming up) I had to book an AirBnB so I can spend time with her and booking an AirBnB was a pain in the ass too. Had to beg the owner to make it happen as most buildings got a strict policy at the moment. If you are not a guest before the lockdown, you really cannot get in. The AirBnb owner made it look like I was their relative and then I still had to prove to the building administration that I am working in BGC.
Restaurants are slowly starting to open and is available to order through lalafood and GrabExpress. Transport is still unavailable so you need to arrange for a car.
The only escorts I have been able to book are those with their own cars. Erin has a car and a driver so she's the only one I was able to see and another non-pro lady. It's a miserable time to be in Philippines.
Sh! T! Thanks guys for all of the info. Sounds terrible. I booked at the Oxford Makati Palace, I've emailed and even facebook messaged them, but no answer. I'll probably have to contact Agoda or my credit card to get the cancellation. This sucks. I originally planned on going to Thailand and Philippines because I know there won't be any Chinese / Koreans / Japanese driving up the prices and it would benefit me, but looks like I won't be traveling the rest of this year until all of this blows over. Hopefully with the economies recovering afterwards, it will be back to the pre-2000 prices / fun right fellas?

Hi TK,
An optimistic precision is late June, or early Sept to be safe. Since China needed 3 months to come out of it (not fully).
Based in the non-cooperation in other continents by citizens and their country due to ignorance or sheer stupidity, Sept would probably be closer to the reality.
If you decide to go to PH quickly, make sure you book agoda rooms you can cancel.
Be safe,
Vic.

Check also that visas on arrival (aka tourist visas) are being issued. At present no visas are being issued on arrival.
If flights do start up again on April 15 or 16 you can expect that preference will be given to those who have either a Philippines passport or a permanent visa (like a 39 a / spouse visa).
It hasn't been established yet when visas on arrival will be re-commenced. You'd be wise not to book hotels until the visa aspect is clarified.
If flights do start up again on April 15 or 16 I hope they do but actually I'm afraid Du30 will extend this enhanced quarantine at least for another 2 weeks till end of April.

I am no expert on contagion, but it seems to me a country, any country, will have to keep their quarantine / lockdown in effect until at least 14 days after the last known occurrence or risk a 2nd flare up or until a cure can be widely distributed. The Z pac is looking ever more promising in this respect. Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) + Azithromycin.

I booked at the Oxford Makati Palace, I've emailed and even facebook messaged them, but no answer. I'll probably have to contact Agoda or my credit card to get the cancellation. I wouldn't expect you to have any problems when you deal direct with Agoda. When I wanted to cancel all my non refundable bookings with several hotels, I too contacted them direct. I received a universal 'speak to Agoda'. When I cancelled the bookings on the App there was a message saying that all cancellations will be honoured and I received a 100% refund inc taxes and fees.
Just go direct to Agoda (if you originally booked through them).

I am no expert on contagion, but it seems to me a country, any country, will have to keep their quarantine / lockdown in effect until at least 14 days after the last known occurrence or risk a 2nd flare up or until a cure can be widely distributed. The Z pac is looking ever more promising in this respect. Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) + Azithromycin.Absent a cure using readily available existing drugs in some combination (a real long shot BTW) we should look to Wuhan to see how long a strict lock down takes to control the virus.
They were locked down 11 weeks. A leaky lock-down will take longer to eradicate the disease.
My wild ass guess is that some form of lock down travel restriction will extend until June or July. I have resigned myself to not making it home to Canada this year for my annual visit.

If you believe Wuhan is virus free I have some lightly used N95 masks to sell you....
With asymptomatic people spreading the disease, there is no waiting until the last known person is no longer infectious, because there will always be unknown infectious people. There will be some level of travel restrictions in place until they have a vaccine.

No vaccine will give you immunity for the rest of your life and the same with recovering from a virus. You will have some immunity for a time, maybe. But no one can tell you how long before the immunity wears off.

All that can really be done is get prepared with the equipment, medicine and plan to deal with it, allow healthy people to return to their lives and support the at risk for a prolonged period. It is the same family as the common cold, if it were easy to develop a vaccine why do we still get colds?

Cheers. G.I'm speaking with Agoda now, but it seems they will try to contact the hotel and work with them on a refund. Should I still try to cancel the booking on the app now? Yours might have been a special case if you booked before a certain period, or your hotel is generous with the cancellations.

As I said, mine had an instruction that all cancellations would be honoured and I received a full refund, even of supposedly non refundable, cut price bookings. If yours says the same thing then I'd have high confidence you will be the same. If you receive a message that your booking is non refundable then don't finalize the cancellation but talk / email Agoda's Customer reps. Remember that wait times could be quite long as they will be inundated with similar requests.
Good luck. G.

I'd still have a look and see what their online cancellation page says, cancel with refund there if it's available, or continue to see if the reps can help you if it's not. Again, expect a wait as they will be receiving 1000's of similar requests.

Yours might have been a special case if you booked before a certain period, or your hotel is generous with the cancellations.I would not outright cancel a pre-paid, no show, full penalty Agoda reservation. That is asking for trouble. Be patient and let the system work. Agoda is overloaded with cancellations, but once Agoda contacts your hotel, you will most likely receive a full refund. Anyway, that has been my experience with Corona and a Agoda Hotel full penalty reservation cancellation request.
Meanwhile, I have had much easier cancellations / refunds / point re-bookings with Expedia (easy & fast), Hyatt (seamless & perfect), Marriott (no problem but it took time), Intercontinental (still waiting for one of their expired vouchers to be extended so I can use it, but otherwise good), Scoot (great), and United (no complaints).
My absolute worst experience getting a Corona refund has been with Air Asia. After many tries I finally have 2 Air Asia reservations "in progress" towards receiving a full refund, but it was not easy and Air Asia tells me it may take up to 30 days before the refund hits my CC account. I have a 3rd Air Asia ticket that I wish refunded, but the flyer (guest) is one of my girls - Yangon Sally, and the Air Asia auto refund program kept malfunctioning on the final line of the refund process. So I finally gave up on getting a refund for that ticket after the umpteenth attempt and had to settle for a 365 day flight credit in my Air Asia account instead.
Thus my message to you is be patient, yet persistent with Agoda and I think you will eventually get your refund. But the moral of this story is do not forget who gives you trouble refunding and who is a breeze to work with when it comes time to make your next booking(s).

I just had my go-around with Agoda. On a prepaid, no refund, reservation at Shangri-La in Jakarta.
Here is how it worked for me:
1. I emailed Shangri-La first and they replied in a day that because of Corona they would honor a full refund, but I had to go thru Agoda for the refund.
2. I had 2 email exchanges and a phone call with Agoda. No result.
3. I received a 3rd email from Agoda asking for a copy of the Shangri-La refund email.
4. After sending a copy of the S-L email to Agoda, I got a full refund in less than 24 hours (has yet to post to my CC).
GOOD LUCK.
I am an Agoda VIP whatever that means. For some unknown reason I like to make all bookings hotel, airline, trips etc well in advance. Never had a problem before. Situations like what is happening now upends most plans.
Here on I will book hotels just a few days before going. There is not much difference in prices. Actually sometimes it goes down. I have tried using Agoda price matching guarantee with no clear progress. For my last trip I got refunds only after I called Agoda USA hotline. Initially they say it is already paid for and no refunds. I kept at it and sooner or later I found an sympathetic agent and she arranged my refund after put on hold for a long time. This trip one hotel in Bangkok absolutely refused refund. But I am complato Agoda and hopefully get some Agoda bucks to be used for next booking.
Airline bookings are easier under current situation to get a refund. Air Asia known for stiffing you gave me credit for funds to be used for next booking. Well, Air Asia is the cheapest airline anyway in terms of fares. It is always better to book air tickets six months in advance to get the best fares trans continental.
I'd seriously advise anyone thinking of booking for the Philippines in the next few months to wait and see what the decree is about visas.
At present I believe only PH passport holders and permanent residents (39 A visa holders and others) can enter the country once the restrictions are lifted on or after April 14.
I have a 39 A and a booking to return on April 17 and my travel agent asked for a scanned copy of my permanent ICR card to assure that I wouldn't be bumped off the April 17 flight.
Wait and see when BoI advises that visas-on-arrival (tourist visas) are again being issued.
For those getting the run-around with Agoda, Hotels.com has an option to get full refund on cancellation; part refund on cancellation or no refund. The prices correlate with the options so choose your own risk level.

Based on the overcrowding condition, lack of nutritious food or any food. We may see a breakdown in law with the people demanding food or their 8 k cash promised by Duterte. There aren't enough hospitals to serve the general population.
Also with roads closed and no transportation for farmers to send their products to markets, we will soon see a complete breakdown in the docile system.
Hope I am completely wrong but I don't see any solutions.

This is irrelevant to most westerners as our airlines and governments have shut down departure flights anyway.
I know I couldn't get there even if I wanted to and regardless of their VOA situation.

Isn't it easier to get a refund on cancellation if you book directly with the hotel?I'm struggling to understand what is so "difficult" about cancelling Agoda bookings. Once I found out I needed to deal directly with Agoda rather than the hotel, it took me about 10 clicks on my phone's app to cancel 4 supposedly nonrefundable bookings. The full refund was in my bank the next day.

In Davao, where I live, individual movements become more restricted every few days, and we're now transitioning to an exit pass system that allows one person per household to leave the property to buy food and / or medicine. The only exceptions are for "essential" workers.

True M. AD,
Realizing the extent of the impact of CORONAVIRUS in the US right now, it is unthinkable that the number of deaths could be as low as it is in China.
Noting that data transparency is not necessarily an obligation, I would give a rough estimate as "much more the the numbers in the current US"!
Be safe friends.

China and Italy were on very strict lockdowns for 10 or 11 weeks each before they got control over this. Don't expect the current restrictions to end any time soon.
Best get a honey you can spend 24 hours a day with for the next couple of months and spend all your time fucking and sucking.

China and Italy were on very strict lockdowns for 10 or 11 weeks each before they got control over this. Don't expect the current restrictions to end any time soon.China never went on lockdown. Hubei did. In the rest of China, people self selected to stay indoors and minimize contact, but to my knowledge at no point was going outside explicitly prohibited. The timeline of Europe / US will be significantly longer than China's because the population don't listen.
I wouldn't look at Wuhan, the Chinese have lied through their teeth and still are. They disappear doctors who try to tell the world the truth. This is going to go on a lot longer than June or July. If you believe Wuhan is virus free I have some lightly used N95 masks to sell you....This general attitude of 'don't believe China' is ridiculous. As a technicality, yes the number of cases is likely to be an underestimate due to asymptomatic cases and the chaos of the outbreak, but I don't think anyone cares about a few hundred or thousand cases here. I have been back in China for 3 weeks and I have been given 8 tests for Covid19 now. Meanwhile, in my home country, government advice is to self isolate for 14 days if you have symptoms and not to go to hospital to be tested. Which of these methodologies do we think is going to result in an under reporting of cases?
I can't speak to Wuhan, but life in my (very large) city is back to normal apart from constant temperature checks. I went out and ate a restaurant tonight with some friends and I'll be doing the same tomorrow night and going out to some bars afterwards. If the Chinese government were lying and this social behaviour was carrying on, the country would be on its knees by now.

An LA Cafe girl that occasionally sends selfies or memes is barking on WhatsApp that she might be out of work for 2 months can I be her wire transfer sponsor and she'll pay me back (no specifics of $ or services).
If I was made of $$$ I'd think about it but I'm not made of $$$ plus I'm kinda hurting at home too.

......I have seen a huge increase in the number of regular girls asking for money very soon into the conservation. They are blaming the lockdown and loss of income.
It also appears that the Barangys are not fairly distributing the food parcels, many have not received or have only gotten a kg or so of rice. One girl has complained that it smells bad so may be rotten or contaminated.
The government really needs to address this problem or there wil be serious consequences if social order breaks down.

This is a first for me.I tell them that the whole world is in the same boat right now. For some reason people are local visioned and not thinking this thing is affected the entire planet. Well I guess most people don't keep up with the world, only what is immediately around them.
I stopped chatting with the girls. Cannot even say HI before they start asking for money. I say right now USA is in lockdown which they understand. For those who know things about online I say money transfer is not allowed.
For me no point in keeping contact because nobody knows how Long this situation lasts and when the world will get back to normal.

For me no point in keeping contact because nobody knows how Long this situation lasts and when the world will get back to normal. The only reason I 'chat' with online girls while I'm at home is to get their WhatsApp number for when I arrive in the Philippines. Anything beyond that is just a waste of both of our time. When I arrive then "Hi, want to grab a coffee in Greenbelt / Ayala?" is much more productive for everyone than reading about her HRD course or my life in suburbia.
Enjoy. G.
I stopped chatting with the girls. Cannot even say HI before they start asking for money. ....I for one am still very active on the dating sites and in contact with my regulars. I am in Philippines and in strict lockdown so I need something to do. This way I will have a stable of good solid new contacts to pick up as soon as movement resumes.
I just follow my usual rule. They ask for money, especially at the start of the chat and GOODBYE.
I get more replies and more money requests but can still have about the same numbers in the pipeline.
May be a waste of time, but I have lots to waste.
I am also finding some old contacts, some going back to 2017 reconnecting to ask for money. That tends to be a very short conservation too.
I have two long term regulars that I will give support to. One I have mentioned before . She is a very quiet shy girl, at the start she would come over and sit with her purse in her lap at my place, it took her a while to relax but now she strips off as soon as the door is closed, kneels down unzips me and starts sucking. She is the Blow Job Queen and wiling to do anything I want. Still extremely shy in public, I have to go sign her in, or pick her up personally, A little hassle but so well worth it. I have put her on a fixed allowance.
The other is the one that arranges most of my 3some, she has arranged more than 2 girls for me several times. She is also great at blow jobs. ( It was fun when she used me a s a teaching aid for an 18 year old who had never had a cock pass her lips.). She has not asked yet but has called me on video chats and masturbated for my viewing pleasure. I am sure a money request will be coming soon.
It also appears that the Barangys are not fairly distributing the food parcels, many have not received or have only gotten a kg or so of rice. One girl has complained that it smells bad so may be rotten or contaminated.I chatted yesterday with a girl in Carcar, asked her if the government was going to give her any money as I have read on the Phil news that they were giving to everyone poor. She said only single mothers with kids at home, PWD, and over 60 yos were getting anything. She does not qualify because no kids but no work. As she and I go way back and I have a fair measure of trust in her I believe her. It does appear individual Barangys are making up their own rules or the Phil news outlets are wrong about who gets it. The Only way the chieftains can get their corrupt share is to change the rules and take from the pot.

Questions to those on location, when do you think it will be realistic to return to Manila?
I'm think late July / early August at best.
I have to confess I'm getting slightly depressed being unable to travel like I do every couple of months!
I'm worried that Duterte will impose a quarantine on travelers coming from Europe.
Confinement can't last for too long, all the girls are begging me for money.
Some are so desperate that girls I talked to, a couple of years ago and didn't even met are asking!
Being a good boy, I bought all my regular girls a 50 kg rice bag on Lazada.

And if it is rice are you sure it will arrive as many will this as an opportunity to feed their families.

Escort. Please confirm all received the 50 kgs am interested as if it works it proves that the delivery guys etc are not as corrupt as I think at times LOL.
Fork Truck = sorry my bad LOL.I can confirm that not all received the rice. In normal times it works flawless, Lazada has grown to be an efficient e-commerce plateform in the Phils. These days it really depends of location of vendor and location of the girl.
One girl didn't receive the 25 KG (not 50 KG) bag I bought for me. I got refunded of 1300-ish Pesos. 1300 was the bag + the delivery. Didn't even need to ask automatic refund.
Lazada being a market place some vendors will deliver to certain areas and not others. (she lives near TayTay / Rizal).
You should get your girls to call various vendors and make sure the vendors will deliver. Often I will be educational, girl will learn how to benchmark vendors and various kind of rice in order to seek for a deal with good value for money.
Then I get the girl to msg me her login / pass, all I need to do is log and pay (your card information isn't saved).
It's a good system to make sure the money is allocated to rice and nothing else. And each time she will eat her rice in the next month or two she will remember her kind sugar daddy.
Questions to those on location, when do you think it will be realistic to return to Manila?
I'm think late July / early August at best.
......
No one can be realistic on a possible return date. I am in lockdown in Cebu province so I have a lot of time to surf and read up on stuff. I have a good background and interest in statistics and mathematical models so would be comfortable if I could get some actual technical discussions on these models and have a look at them myself. So far all I can find is superficial discussions.
From everything I have read we cannot expect easy travel until several conditions are met. These include:
1) a vaccine available.
2) a reliable treatment available.
3) Sufficient numbers of people have had the virus so a limited herd immunity will develop.
4) Good screening methods be available to determine if someone has the virus, has had the virus and got has some immunity and who has not had the virus and is at risk.
5) good contact tracking is available to determine who a possibly infected person has been in contact with so that preventative and containment measures can be taken before the virus spreads.
6) sufficient hospital capacity and supplies are available so that a region can handle a localized outbreak of the disease.
Right now we don't know enough about the virus to determine its transmission patterns and methods reliably. We don't have any treatment available except palliative treatments (make the patient comfortable, put them on a ventilator if necessary until the either recover or die). Testing capacity is inadequate in just about every country in the world, there are massive shortages of hospital supplies and the best testing methods take days for results and are not all that reliable.
Now there is some overlap in vaccines and propagation and recovery from the virus in getting herd immunity I see that these conditions are 12 to 18 months away, even giving the possibility of accelerated development of drugs and vaccines.
Even once these are in place, expect that some places will impose 14 or more day quarantine on arrival requirements for visitors from selected places.
I have given up on the possibility of my annual trip to Canada this summer, I am even thinking I may not get home next year. Part of this may be that full travel restrictions will still be in place others are that if I had to do a 14 day quarantine on arrival in Canada plus another 14 days on return here that means my one week family visit will take 5 weeks and I simply will not do that. IMHO, a long weekend mongering trip into the Philippines is not realistic in 2020.
I would actually be happy if they relaxed the local travel restrictions so I could get one (or two) of my regulars here then I would hunker down, be a social hermit and fuck my brains out a couple times a day.
To make a long story short, I am guessing that we will not see a return to anything approaching the old normal in terms of travel and public assemblies of large numbers of people for at least a year, if not two or more. We will not see a return to old travel patterns for disease related reasons. There will also be economic changes in travel, many airlines, hotels and other travel facilities will go bankrupt, people will not be able to afford to travel. The new normal may not be established for a few years.
My hope is that since I am here have sufficient funds independent of working and the stock market performance, that I will be able to live well here. I hope that the surplus of cash poor local girls and the defect of cash rich foreign mongers will make this monger's heaven in a few months.
From everything I have read we cannot expect easy travel until several conditions are met. These include:7) Donor countries allow Mongers' departure for international travel.
1 thru 6 are irrelevant if Mongers cannot even leave their home town. In many countries that may be well into 2021.
Enjoy. G.

G.Some carriers have flights available (domestically also) but would you want to jump on the first plane into a country that has yet to control the virus? For many tourism will change forever and for some they won't care and hope they never get infected.
Would you fly to the USA now and holiday? I see that as a good question to ask about the Philippines.

I've no plans on travelling anywhere soon. Firstly, because of the risks that you mentioned would be much higher than where I am now. Secondly, travel restrictions have yet to be relaxed here and I can't drive across town, let alone catch a non essential international flight.

J.I think a lot of this is to get cash flow. Ryanair have opened their autumn schedule and are charging a premium. If they have to refund no problem as it will take them many months to do it. Spanish hotels are (supposed to be) opening but they are wasting their time if they cannot get British and German customers. Real chicken and egg stuff. Then we have the bums British Airways gave emergency evacuation flights to complaining there was no social distancing. BA should have left the bums rot.

G.If you are on your own dime, I would not do anything that requires a credit card or prepayment guarantee. You don't know which companies will be standing and it will be hard to get cash refunds. Even large establishments are trying to pull fast ones, IMHO. It is only going to get worse. And rules can change rapidly.
Some hotels silently closed because confirmed case (s) stayed there and they reopen. Others close to wait out the storm.
Glad to see some posts of people helping out. I just hope my efforts will not get me in trouble. Can support a couple villages and some girls close by but the girls close by are too close. Last thing Ineed is one loose cannon.
There are exemptions but there are over zealous dirty harries who might shoot first.
If you are on your own dime, I would not do anything that requires a credit card or prepayment guarantee. ......t.Usually your agreement with the credit card company is that you have to get something for your money or you can dispute a charge.
That is why when tour operators or airlines went bankrupt people who had not flown were refunded money by the card company. People who had flown one way got something for their money and so were out of luck for the remainder.
You might have a fight to get the money back but if you can demonstrate that you were unable to use the hotel because it was not accepting guests you should prevail in the long run.
Of course that still does not solve the issue of where you will sleep tonight.

Of course that still does not solve the issue of where you will sleep tonight.A lot depends on where you get the credit card and where you "are". Most Western countries have good consumer protection rules. Some credit card companies are better than others. In the old days, Amex was the gold standard. It also depends on the "level" or color of your card, as in how much, if anything, you pay in membership fees.
Even if you are protected, it can be time consuming and long.
In the current environment, some major companies are playing games and dragging things out.
If possible, I would not give a credit hold. There are plenty of places that would skip a credit card hold. Or use a travel agency.
It is very difficult to travel internationally now and those operators still up are desperate.
Even if you are protected, it can be time consuming and long.No it is not long. You fill out a form with supporting documentation. If you have a legitimate case it takes a couple of weeks. The credit card companies take the money from the bank, the bank of the supplier then deals with the supplier. The credit card companies are international organisations and have consistent rules. They have an issuing bank but you are following Visa or MasterCard etc rules.

But nowadays, they are the pretty much same as their competitors. Maybe just a little better.
My caution is don't prepay if you can or use a credit card guarantee that you might need to spend time resolving.
Even on cards with built in insurance, it will take time and money to get your money back if you ever do. With Airplane tickets are are stuck. You need to pay upfront. If the airline cancels your flight, you might be moved to a different flight automatically. But getting cash back even in the best of times is time consuming and expensive.
YMMV. I don't care what you do. I am just sharing my experience.

Is anybody in Manila at this moment?
Since Manila will be in GCQ on June, I'm planning to flight to Manila on June to visit the Canadian Embassy.
So I'm looking for a 4 to 5 nights hotel / condo / airbnb accomodation.
Here in Negros where I am, the hotels and even short hotels are open for new reservations because we are in GCQ already. So will be the same in Manila?
What about girl friendly stays? Am I allow to bring a guest so she can sleep or maybe visit me for afew hours?
I read GCQ guidelines, and domestic flights will be allow from GCQ to GCQ areas, so getting a flight shouldn't be a problem. The accommodation will be the problem for me.
Hopefully a monger who lives in Manila right now can give me some advice.

Best call the Embassy and ask before you book.
Residents who are currently outside the country at present have had flight rescheduled a lot so why think you get in front of them?
So rad the local news and if you RTFF you find some comments form informed mongers on this plus links to news articles saying the above.
....
I read GCQ guidelines, and domestic flights will be allow from GCQ to GCQ areas, so getting a flight shouldn't be a problem.
......
I also read that at least within Manila there will not be travel from once GCQ city to another, except for work.
I want to bring a regular from Manila to Cebu and we will hunker down and ride out the second wave but am not fully convinced that inter island travel will be possible.
My landlords wife is in Negros and cannot get back to Cebu. He thinks that there might be a "private ferry" that can bring her over as the inter-island ferries not officially running.
I read GCQ guidelines, and domestic flights will be allow from GCQ to GCQ areas, so getting a flight shouldn't be a problem. The accommodation will be the problem for me.I read today in PhilStar that GCQ to GCQ travel is OK beginning June 1. However too often in the Philippines the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing or even cares. Local Government Units are making power plays and making up their own rules concerning who can go where and who cannot. When you land you might find yourself in a bureaucratic nightmare. Until you make the Journey (and you may be the first ISG guy to try it) you will not know. Good Luck and let us know how you make out. I hope you don't end up like these hapless folks. " At least 24 residents of Barangay Luz in Cebu City who were among the first who tested positive are still at the barangay isolation center (BIC) 40 days after they were put in isolation". You may also have been following the stories about the thousands of returning OFWs put in a 14 day quarantine in Manila who 30+ days later were still in isolation. Took President Du to demand their release to go home and even then he got push back bcuz some mayors didn't want them so they could not get papers. I do not want to be traveling in the Philippines until the dust settles. What a revolting development this has turned into.
.....
Until you make the Journey (and you may be the first ISG guy to try it) you will not know.

A good friend got stuck in Cebu / Toledo mid March when her ferry to Leyte was cancelled even though was ordered to sail, SO her and 40 others got stuck. After much angst, paperwork etc they were allowed to leave on a ferry yesterday (29 May!) but. Needed extra paperwork to travel to the port! All had twice been tested negative for COVID19, all had 3 sets of documents as demanded buy the LGU (local government unit).
Now in Leyte they have 21 days quarantine of which 14 is in an hotel they pay for. If can't afford they are all poked into small school room, no air no food etc. Only family an bring etc.
As a tourist if you can get a visa (and that is not yet clear) why would anyone want to go there when nothing is clear. Lots of dreamers on the board at the moment. Most mongers I know have written off the Philippines this year as no one cane be sure the place is safe. It is doing a good jib with limited resources but in some areas it is unclear if the cases are decreasing.
It is not flying from GCQ to GCQ it is can you enter the country and get a tourist visa or not without going through what the locals must go through? I doubt it unless a resident who can self isolate at home.
KG. As for the landlords wife. This is being arranged all over the place but can cost a lot and see above for the issue my friend faced. Messy is a nice way to describe it.
I previously visited the Philippines several times, but my daughter convinced me to travel to Vietnam with her for a vacation. I was reluctant due to lack of English and other concerns but she convinced me. It totally turned my thoughts around about travel in the Philippines. I have not returned to the Philippines since. Since then my mongering and dating site visits have been restricted to Vietnam and to a lesser extent Cambodia. I was going to return to Vietnam in February, but cancelled my plans due to the Corona Virus. In hindsight I wish I had gone. Unlike the Philippines, Vietnam immediately totally locked down the country and cities tight and started contract tracing with amazing results. This resulted resulted in only about 350 virus cases, no deaths, and no new transmission infections for over a month. I could stayed there for six months and felt totally safe. Yes they are a Communist totalitarian country, but their resolve to consistently hunt out the virus and not allow exceptions has been perfect in my mind.
When Vietnam opens their boarders again, I hope to be on the first plane back. Unfortunately, their precautions will likely limit my ability to travel to either Vietnam or Cambodia due to my Canadian government's inability to control of the spread of the virus here at home. The Vietnamese web sites state Vietnam will not allow incoming international travelers to enter until the receiving country shows no new infections for thirty days so I think it will be a long time before North Americans to be welcomed without a period of quarantine. This is further complicated by having to connect through Taipei, or Seoul who may or may not be accepting connecting international travelers. In the mean time, Red Kilt who I have been in contact with from time to time, is enjoying his time in isolation mongering in Cambodia trouble free .
In reading about the inconsistent methods of how various mayors and leaders are dealing with the virus and travel, the Philippines would be far down the list of places for me to feel safe to travel to. That plus in Vietnam the food is better, the money goes further, and the ladies are just as lovely. But if your a dating site guy like me there is more leg work involved to get them to your room.
Just my thoughts.
Nut.

KG. As for the landlords wife. This is being arranged all over the place but can cost a lot and see above for the issue my friend faced. Messy is a nice way to describe it.As far as I know the borders are still closed to incoming travelers with limited exceptions. That is returning citizens, permanent residents, spouses and dependents and diplomats. SRRV is NOT considered a permanent resident so if you have an SRRV and are out of the country you cannot return.
Provincial travel is still limited and will still be limited under GCQ. You need a reason to travel or fly inter island. That would have to be work, medical or other essential reason.
Unfortunately the local governments are, out of fear, imposing their own rules on lots of things. I am on another board, general living not mongering, and people there are reporting some pretty strict and changing travel rules. For example they were only allowed to leave home every 3 days, now changed to once a week, Some have day of travel restriction. In one case they can leave M-W-F but the next banguay with the grocery stores and medical facilities only allows people in on T-T-S.
To be blunt, implementation and enforcement of the quarantine, all levels, is a confusing mess of local rules and local interpretation of the national rules.
By "private ferry" I meant a local fisherman in the middle of the night landing on the beaches in isolated places, not a regular charter going from one port to another at high noon.
The PRA heavily requested that the ban on SRRV holders be lifted but to no avail. They promote that visa so hard and now it is nothing more than a tourist visa where you have to put a big deposit in one of their banks. Granted you don't have to deal with the BI every 59 days and it is slightly cheaper than paying for extensions but it will take a long time for it to be financially advantageous. Many SRRV holders are considering cancelling their visa once this crap is over. The SRRV holders that are stranded out of country should be really pissed. If I had it to do over I would not have gotten an SRRV. It is now basically a pretty stamp in your passport.
The quarantine rules are just insane. With the locals given the authority to implement their own restrictions it is impossible to know what is allowed / needed / required. On an upper note at least the Filipinos aren't burning down cities and looting everywhere in a demand for justice. So crazy as it may be being stuck here isn't so bad.

But today I came along Ayala Triangle and the Peninsular hotel. The hotel was still completely dead and no signs of any activity. No way that it'll open any time soon.

Oh well, I had to cancel my Manila plans because Cebu City change from suppose to be MECQ to GCQ, so since both Manila and Cebu City have Canadian embassy / consulate and both are in GCQ starting today, I rather go to Cebu City since is closer to Negros where I am right now.
I know that there has been alot of stories that you guys also mention here about people getting stuck someplace, but all those stories come during ECQ, I will never travel to another city and even worse to another province during ECQ.
I will only travel because is GCQ, and because they will open the Canadian embassy / consulate on June 1st, and because I have something important to do there, unless of course the mayor of Cebu City change the guidelines which is exactly what he did today.
So from this new guidelines I will only be able to travel to Cebu City by Section 15 CV: "Persons going to the airport for travel abroad. ".
Well, I'm hoping it can apply to me, I will need to find out in the terminal with the CERES buses (maybe ask the soldiers there), that my flight going to Canada is in July from Cebu City (I have proof, I have my airplane ticket already), so I'm going there a month in advance to wait for my flight there. I'm hoping they might let me. The only other option will be to wait until June 15, when they will hopefully change the guidelines and they will allow province traveling. If everything goes to plan they should change from GCQ to MGCQ which should hopefully allow provincial traveling.
The PRA heavily requested that the ban on SRRV holders be lifted but to no avail. They promote that visa so hard and now it is nothing more than a tourist visa where you have to put a big deposit in one of their banks. .....I am still glad that I have my SRRV. It made my claim of being a non resident of Canada for tax purposes bullet proof. In 3 years here I have saved about 6 to 8 times my deposit in Canadian taxes. Even on my Canadian sourced income, I am paying less tax than I would have as a Canadian resident. (Only about $CDN 100 but that still pays for a honey for a night or two.).
I get 1% interest on my deposit less 30% for Philippine taxes so effectively 0. 7% interest. HSBC pays zero interest on my USD account.
There are other reasons than Philippine based ones for having an SRRV, but without the Canadian tax implications it really is just a 3 year easily renewable tourist visa.

I Don't Know. A report pre-Covid.
After 5 months hard slog in the consultancy caper, and no poontang (it was time to shout myself.
Simple plan. A few days in MTown, early December 19, cozied up in a comfy hotel, chubbies at the ready and blow load! Having weaned myself off the alco sauce over 2 years, I was going to forego the Manila bar scene and concentrate solely on internet see* hunt. I actually thought it might be some blessing to NOTstep one foot out of my bayside 5 star. I started pipelining 10 days out, and had lined up the delightfully chunky Maribeth, 26 yrs, for adventure #1. She presented very well online; dressed as an office professional, good attention to an understated make-up routine, and was a little coy, but also a little suggestive, so she had my chain.
Met her for coffee and cake in the foyer, and soon established we were Go! On the way up in the lift she grabbed my cock and balls and cracked me a huge grin. O! Coy! Haha I made a note to later coat her perfect pearly whites with man tube toothpaste. Undressed, I saw Bush through her flimsy white knickers, and in a flash I was munching on salty bearded clam and rogering her back passage knuckle-deep with my middle finger. We reverted to missionary and I fucked her hard and deep as she lay legs splayed wide open and meaty thighs cushioning my thrusts. I came with an almighty roar, and she expertly tweaked my nipples hard on the vinegar stroke. I pumped her until I was completely drained and my cods were about half the size they had been, swollen with anticipation as they were, when I had stepped off the plane. It was a great way to throw off the celibacy of the last 5 months. Of course, she was a highly proficient working girl, as she demonstrated a coupla hours later with a fine display of below-the-belt mouth and tongue work, going the full suck and swallow in the jacuzzi. Thank You, Manila! Day One, done and dusted.

It surprises me that at 62 and with 5 months of yakka behind me and no sex, as soon as I had put one away, I got hornier and hornier. I could root anything, and the whole rest of that trip my libido stirred itself up, and I looked at each and every woman as a potential fuck.
Anyways, I slept like a Trojan and woke with a raging hard on. It is fair to say Maribeth rose to the occasion. With woody sprung, I rolled on top and started on the job. I was going to give it her, and give it hard. Maribeth responded in kind, she met every pump with physical vigour and we were soon bonking like crazy all over the bed. She was some gal. I could feel a huge cum building, and pulled out and unloaded all over her quivering chubby brown belly and big tits. Ah, the very definition of morning glory. We were getting on fine. The rest of the day was GFE, and Maribeth took me to Mall of Asia where we had a real tasty adobo. I was able to explain my project to her and she didn't hesitate to call up her 19 yr old cousin Susie who met us that evening at the hotel. We are talking young, dark and CHUBBY, much to my taste, but also kinda dumb and non-communicative. Cut short, I felt like I was fucking a cup of Aeroplane jelly and she just lay there in unresponsive starfish mode. I pulled out, feeling pissed off and told Maribeth we needed to show her how it was done. MB presented herself doggy and I had another feast at the hairy why. Fucking Maribeth doggy was very good and she twerked like a trooper, then, feeling my rising dander, she barked some Tagalog and Susie jumped over, lay her cheek on MB's ample brown buttock, opened her mouth wide and batted her eyelids at me, aaw, how romantic. Hehe. I obliged, pulling out and hosing my cum shot in to Susie's moist and willing suck hole. She then sat up, opened her gob and let cum and saliva drip out and down her fat norks and bulging coffee-coloured belly, looking me directly in the eye the while. Not a bad piece of porn there I had to admit. Susie was a quick study and came across with a more animated fuck later. We laid some good pipe while I sucked MB's lovely boobies. Day two, cum and gone.

Beware Airlines Selling Tickets For Flights That Will Never Take Off.

Chinese students stuck in the US suspect airlines of cash grab as tickets advertised 'for flights that will never take off'.
Many Chinese students in the US looking to return home amid Covid-19 are stuck in a loop of bookings, cancellations and battles to get refunds.
A United Airlines flight attendant says he has seen flights available for booking that were not included on flight schedules and had no crew assigned.

Why you can trust SCMP.
United had always been bad on disappearing flights even before this year. I had fallen into those traps before. The silver tongued Numoz really down plays any problems. Like recently packed planes and passengers not wearing masks on flights. It is their culture.
I feel sorry for those kids. Here is the full article from SCMP.
Shuo Fang is sitting nervously in his student accommodation in Davis in the US state of California, waiting to see if he will be able to board his flight to Shanghai, China, on May 26.
The 22-year-old university student has bought several tickets in recent months in the scramble to flee the coronavirus pandemic.
In the US for the relative safety of home. Every one of those flights, bar the upcoming one – so far – has been cancelled, he says.
Like many other Chinese students in the US, Shuo has faced an uphill battle with airlines to get a refund on those fares.
Studying statistics at the University of California, Davis, Shuo is one of many Chinese students in the US who have been stuck in a loop of bookings and flight cancellations.
Some have bought nine airline tickets or more, he says, and they feel that the withheld refunds are being used in a deliberate cash grab to keep airlines afloat. Some US carriers continue to sell tickets for routes that have been closed during April and May because of China's travel bans and flight restrictions.
Shuo says many of his student friends have been running around in circles since April trying to buy flights, then getting refunds. "I know airlines are not flying right now, but they are selling tickets, so you just have to bet on it," he says. "What choice do we have?
There were an estimated 370,000 Chinese students in the US in the 2018-19 academic year, according to the latest figures available from the Institute of International Education, though the number has fallen in the current academic year.
Many have rushed to escape the Covid-19 situation in the US, where more than 93,000 related deaths have now been recorded.
"You actually give up hope of ever getting the refunds. It's not fair, because the United Airlines website keeps saying the refund request is 'unprocessed' Shuo says.
"Before I got a refund I had no choice but to go ahead and buy another ticket. What are you meant to do? Your flight has again been cancelled, you want to get home. Many people are in the same boat. ".
"I have now been refunded for three flights, but only after waiting four to six weeks. And being left up in the air on the status of my refunds. The airline never until this day contacted me about the cancellations. ".
A United Airlines.
Flight attendant based in San Francisco, who requests anonymity because he is not authorised to speak to the media, says he has seen airlines selling tickets "for flights that will never take off" since the onset of lockdowns in US amid the outbreak.
"I think it's wrongdoing on the airline's part," he says by phone. "I feel terrible for travellers who got stuck overseas and have to pay for multiple tickets wishing one of them actually works. It's not just United Airlines who is guilty of this; Delta, American are the same.
"This whole story started after United suspended flights to China, initially until April 24. A friend contacted me about his flight to Shanghai for May 19, a ticket he bought early in April. He was concerned his flight would be cancelled and that he wouldn't be able to get a cash refund to book and pay for another flight.
"After checking the status, I could see from the flight schedule the company had uploaded for crew that there were no China flights on that date.
"Then I noticed that no pilots or flight attendants were assigned to that trip at all. As a matter of fact, the flight wasn't even included on the May flight plan from the outset."
The flight attendant says that staff memos and flight schedules shared with crew members point to discrepancies between routes offered to the public and those United actually plans to operate.
"At that point I checked our internal booking system, and was shocked to see the May 19 flight SFO to PVG San Francisco to Shanghai still there. That means travellers could still book that flight, even though it was not included in staff flight schedules."
It gives the impression United has been intentionally selling seats on "phantom flights" – with planes that are not planned to ever take off, he says. "On May 2, for example, you could still book June flights from SFO to PVG even though that is not on our internal flight plan.
"Even though our CEO, Oscar Munoz who this week steps aside to become executive chairman, has told us in a memo we will be down 90 per cent on scheduled flights in June, as for May, somehow you can still buy tickets to Shanghai, Singapore, London, Beijing. Yet in our bid packets a computer program for crew scheduling for May, the only two routes operating from our San Fran hub are to Tokyo Narita and Sydney."
United's website is selling tickets for the San Francisco-Shanghai route every day from May 29. United told employees in a memo in early May it would "pencil in four China routes in the June schedule".
Those routes include San Francisco to Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai Pudong, and Newark to Shanghai, with some tickets selling for US $3,200 one way. "We continue to work out the feasibility of restarting passenger service to China," the memo says.
Yet since March 29, China's Civil Aviation Administration has limited operations to one passenger flight per week.
Into China from any specific country.
United Airlines has yet to respond to a request for comment on these matters, more than a week after email inquiries were sent by the Post.
"For United, as with other airlines currently offering flights to places that are in lockdown, maybe they are betting on the lockdown being over before the plane takes off," says the United flight attendant. "Airlines are therefore guaranteed to have passengers ready to board as soon as the lockdown is lifted."
If lockdowns aren't lifted in time, he says, flights will just be cancelled, with any withheld refunds providing a money bank to cash-strapped airlines.
"Meanwhile they still have their much needed cash revenue, and technically, no regulations can prohibit them doing so for as long as they have those flight landing slots and route licences to operate.
"So it's just a win-win situation for airlines. But I do think they should be more transparent and tell passengers those flight schedules may change due to Covid-19. There are no such warnings when you book. The bottom line is, most people think if airlines are selling the tickets, the plane will take off, but in reality there are some flights here that are just never going to take off."
The United crew member hopes travellers will be able to sue airlines for "misrepresenting, and for damage caused by knowingly selling flights that will be cancelled".
For his part, statistics student Shuo is not confident of finally boarding that plane home this month.
"I heard already that maybe United will not open that route until after May," he says. "I don't know if the flight will actually take off, but I must try. I am aware of the airline situation, I know they are not flying right now. Maybe some routes will reopen. But we don't want to give up. So we just pay for the future. ".
Three days after talking to the Post, Shuo got in contact to say his May 26 flight had also been cancelled. Did the airline tell him? "No, I checked on their website myself. Maybe the next flight is May 28."
Maybe, but Shuo hasn't yet plucked up the courage to rebook.
YMMV. I find different. Even in US. In the good old days, AMEX was fantastic. Worldwide. But nowadays, they are the pretty
much same as their competitors.
FYI, on travel bookings.

Beware Airlines Selling Tickets For Flights That Will Never Take Off.I've been bombarded with offers from Agoda to prebook heavily discounted rooms in cities that I regularly visit.
It's always pay up front, non refundable and use anytime in the next 18 months when travel bans are lifted. Generally 70 to 80% discounts.
I don't even know if half of these hotels will still be around next week, let alone next year. I was fortunate to have all my cancelled rooms and flights refunded when the virus shattered my plans but I'm not about to try my luck a second time.
Enjoy. G.

....I am not going to book or even plan any travel until I have a reasonable belief that I will be able to make my trip uninterrupted.

Next morning, I sent them on their way. I was impatient for some variety and paid them out. I was a tad sorry about Maribeth, but I was fair dinkum see* hungry and wanted to play field. Morning by the pool, decent brunch, a snooze and I would trawl the net and see what happened. I was horny going down to the pool, because I had picked up a grand girl poolside there on a previous trip, but not today. That arvo on DIA I came across Celine, 38 yrs. Great pic online. Lovely smooth brown long-ish face, hair up and gorgeous ruby red rouged lips, nice plump kissable lips too. I fancied them on the job downstairs, so chatted her up. After a while mucking around, she works out I am serious and can't quite believe I have invited over to my hotel that day. She tells me she is just a poor washer woman, no education and was I sure I wanted to meet? Get your dark little twat over here! I said. Down in the foyer, she is sitting there, dark-skinned and lips redder than red, in a faded pink dress, really tight across a set of massive bazookas. A cheap pair of crummy shoes hiding hard feet. Def poor, alright. Upstairs, disrobed, her huge tits hang down like a pair of eggplants and I suck on her almost black nipples as she gives me a handjob. My seed pods are a-tingle as we start fucking every which way, for quite a long time and finally she cowgirls me, slow and steady, with one arm back ever so lightly tickling my balls. I methodically humped and leaked a load up into her. Hmmm, not bad. Kind of strange. Celine is very quiet. We get a second one off later in the shower, she is doubled-over and I can really hit her GSpot, and finger fuck her rubbery a- hole. We both cum at about the same time, and she puts on a good show of sighing and gasping. Well done. I am finished for the day, though, and pack Celine off late in the night after she devoured a sizeable room service steak. She also fessed up to being 43, and with a kid and grand kid! Day 3, well into the spree.

Enjoy. G.It is good you have some sense. I heard some hotels asking for deposit via credit card and pay at hotel. Problem is deposit is for full stay and actually runs through your statement. Reversal, if it ever comes, is at end of hotel stay. In plain English, you pay double for the length of your stay.
The Forbes article again beats up on "foreign" companies while not looking at US domestic transgressions. The Chinese students have great credit limits on their credit cards. If the max price is USD3,000 and he buys 10 tickets, that is USD30,000 max on his credit card for 2 months. Multiply that by a wide body heat, 300, by number of flights at day to Asian destinations. Free money for United regardless of what consumer protection laws say. It is bad to be part of that tribe.

Pool, brunch, snooze, net, nut. Same routine winkles out Josefa, 34 yr old 'massage therapist.' OK, on with the pro show haha. She is crash hot keen to come over. Small and compact, less chubby than I like and a small set of pert tits. Hard bodied, though, in good nick, very good English compared to any of the earlier lasses. Likes the gym, she says. Yeah, I bet. Pump classes. Her main distinguishing feature was a set of little angel wings tattooed on her shoulder blades. Hmmmm, didn't know what to think about that. Not to worry, soon had her on reverse cowgirl after she had gone down on me for about half an hour. Jo worked her twat well, like an internal massage machine. I creamed her muscly love tunnel, and she then flipped me over and gave me a solid massage alright. After, she lit up a ciggie and plonked down to watch TV. What the hell? I bided my time, and then offered her prime erect Aussie sausage roll. She twigged immediately and delivered a very very good BBBJ, t-bag, rim job, fist pump and swallow. Got dressed, put her hand out for cash, and skipped out of the room. Day 4, could I want more?
Well, my break was over. I used DIA all the way and realised I had played quite the generation game; 19,26, 34, 43. Full satisfaction from a host of lbfms. Two good-sized chubbies and some lovely boobs among them. Blew a ton of cum load. Later that week I was back on the terrace up on the Qld Shine coast and a long view down the beach. Now, how would it be to have Maribeth here, butt-naked, oiled up and stropping mulligan to vinegar stroke as I gurgled down a mineral? I have texted her a couple of times. No answer.
All that was 6 months ago and look where we are now. When next can I expect to ride in one of those old white taxis out of Aquino Airport and straight into some warm and welcoming pinay pudenda? Oh, the loss.
Hey guys,
Want to visit Manila but want to know what are the new rules with regards to foreigner arriving at the airport? Please need some advice?

What are the prices in Manila now? I was there in October and I'm going to come back after the lock in is over. I've been texting some women from Cupid and there so many beautiful girls that want to meet me far more than normal so I was thinking the prices of the girls are less now. I usually go for the hot students who need tuition and shop girls that need extra cash instead of the pros. Are prices lower now that the economy is fucked?

For more accurate pricing best to ask the girl you are texting. She might not be aware of the Puki Poon Price index.

The have heard all the 'coming next month' promises a million times before and place zero credability on them. Do the research yourself and then tell her what you want and how much you pay when you are there.
Use online to collect numbers but not to have negotiations. Here how it plays out:
1/ Him Online: "How much, if I save up my pocket money so I can afford the trip, if I can get time off work, if the flights start up again, if I decide to stay near you, if I don't go to Thailand, if you are not with another guy and if I actually decide to go in 9 months time?
Her: 8000 peso (if she actually shows up).
2/ Him in Town: "I'm in Greenbelt. You up for 1500 for a couple of hours fun?
Her: "Sure. What time?

Never, not once, not ever, never 😁 ask a girl how much online before you are even in country. Plus You are treating her like a Hooker when she considers herself a girl who is getting a little bit of help from a guy she went on a date with or meeting up for some mutual fun.
Hello. I am interested in visiting Cebu for the beach. I'm curious if Cebu has a meat market. It seems a decent size city and quite famous, but I don't see a dedicated forum here for it. Does anyone know? Thanks a lot.

If she hasn't introduced commercializing the meeting then just play the game, let her think she is a good girl and work with that.
Him: What are you looking for here? I'm just looking for some casual fun.
Her: Oh no, I'd never do that. I'm a princess, as pure as driven snow. I'm looking for a nice guy and a committed, long term relationship.
Him: Great! Are you open to something not quite as serious until you find that guy?
Her: Sure. WhatsApp me on +63 SUCKUDRY.

Start chatting with girls who list as Cebu city location. Go straight to the point generally saying you are looking for fun and company. If she agrees Take the conversation to Skype, messenger, viber, WhatsApp etc. Chat cam to cam and make sure you like her because photo in DIA is most often photoshopped. Discuss everything including compensation and have fun.

If she is in Cebu Province, she could easily be several hours away from Cebu City.
Don't rule these girls out though as many are very happy to bus in or the the OP could go spend a few days at the much better beaches in Bohol or the Visayas.

I was the only person in the shop.
Regular latte: 175 php.
Choc chip cookie 85 php.
I said "WTF!! You have increased the prices by 30%.
Shop assistant: Yes sir. Corona virus sir. No customers.
I almost said "Cancel the order; this is ridiculous", but I paid and stayed. They just lost me as a customer. What's the logic in such a move? (it's a rhetorical question. Please don't respond).

Be happy some are still opening up. Predictions are half of the businesses will be closing up or bankrupting soon.
Perhaps some opportunistic western can pick up a place cheap and charge 30% less?
If your going to lose money you don't open up. My point is that you don't raise prices because you have less customers. Raising prices usually leads to guess what? Even less customers. Obviously there's is some optimal price that maximizes your profit. Basic economics. Based on the post I replied to I'm going to assume he just lost a customer.
I'm not thankful for coffee shops staying open at higher prices.

Until then I will go to a coffee shop and see the prices and if it's too expensive I will leave. It's a business transaction. These business aren't my friends.

I don't think the bar owners and managers are stupid, so there most likely must be an explanation for their otherwise irrational economic behavior. Or not. LOL.

I usually buy whole beans, grind them myself, and brew in a French press.
However I ran out of beans in Apr, I cannot find real coffee here either ground or beans so am stuck with instant.
The local mall sells coffee grinders but when I asked in the grocery section about brewed coffee got a blank look before they answered not available po.
I would kill for some real coffee, I have 6 lbs in a DHL stuck for a few days to clear customs, but once it is delivered in Manila, it will be another two weeks before LBC gets it to me.

If less people visit your business, you increase the prices to attract them back. Super logic.Prices in a free market are at the intersection between supply and demand curves.
Cost has nothing to do with price except as it relates to the supply curve.
The lockdowns and social distancing has resulted in both a supply side and a demand side shock.
On the supply side, lower seating capacity and employment restrictions has shifted the supply curve to the right, many places will be unable to operate at a profit and will close.
On the demand side, there is a pent up demand, people have not gotten out to get their sit down coffees, they are willing to pay more.
The net result will be increased prices as the market adapts to the changes.
Of course the average pino does not think this through but thinks need revenue increase prices. It works, people stay and pay the higher price.
I'm no economist, but I would wager that if you only have 1 customer in your cafe, you're probably priced too high. A good strategy to find the right maximal pricing might be to start from something cheap so that your shop is at capacity, then start raising prices until you start losing a few customers.

Others, like me, will forego the exorbitant price in a mall coffee shop and make my own at home using my fancy Breville coffee machine that grinds enough for each shot on demand.
The only reason I stop off for a coffee in the mall is for the social aspect. To meet a couple of mates now and again and watch the world go by. No need for that right now.
Incidentally, I just walked past the coffee shop referred to in my earlier post. Totally empty at 1000 h. As I walked past again on my way home, it was still empty at 1115 h.
Any other time it would be a bustling center of activity. Crazy strategy to apply such price rises.

I do not typically frequent coffee shops since, like RK, I can make better coffee grinding my own beans at home. However, the shops that I do pass by, and there are lots of them, are either typically empty or quite sparsely populated. I read an article today by some senior government official (I forget which one), saying that quarantines will remain in effect until at least October 1. If true, this crisis will be the death knell for several restaurants including, perhaps, our own.

Crazy strategy to apply such price rises.I believe the strategy would be to maintain the headline item ie coffee at P95 and increase the prices on the add-ONS. Additionally offer a coffee deal at P250 which includes muffin and unlimited coffee refills. People wll bu more food with each refill and hey never drink as much as they think.
I like the "chillis" margarita deal. Unlimted refills for P295 I recall.

I need to get out of the country right now. I have a few girlfriends there.
I know people talk up Thailand here. I haven't personally been to Thailand, but I'll tell you, my girlfriends will gladly take it in the ass, pussy, and mouth and say "thank you" afterwards.
I need to go back. My balls are hurting and need to be drained. COVID sucks.

I need to go back. My balls are hurting and need to be drained. COVID sucks. If you have an SRRV or other long term visa you will be able to re-enter after 1 Aug. However you will need to have prearranged covid test on arrival then quarantine hotel until test results are in. If negative you can go on yo0 ur way but if positive then you are subject to Philippine medical system. No new long term visas will be issued.
Your return flight will be limited as quarantine space is limited and returning Filipinos get priority. Then if you want to go home, the reverse will apply depending on your home countries rules.
I think it would be easier and cheaper to get your blue balls treated at home, paying home prices.

Some have sought mutual but temporary relief with a liberal application of camshowoleum creams but a full recovery is not expected for at least 12 months.
Some have reported good results from seeking local remedies but for others these have caused nausea and panic attacks.
Stay safe.

However, that should be no surprise as the average trip abroad includes airfare, hotel accommodation and eating out whereas at home I cook most of my meals. The difference though is the girls, I much more enjoy banging Asians, Latinas and Europeans than Americans.

I'm one of those who have a long term visa. I have a flight going to Manila on Aug 22. Beside the doubt that the flight would go at all, there are many open questions:
Quarantine Hotel location:
I'm an Angeles boy and I would rather go to a hotel near Angeles than staying in Manila. But I doubt that they let me. If so, how would I get there? Are there still offers for airport pick up service? Are taxis allowed to go long distance? I doubt they will allow me to use a public bus.
The list of Pampanga quarantine hotels is astonishing:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dQ1VRvI0C3GJzUGmYRw-uW0YUJy6Bj2u9b_KVG5tBws/edit#gid=2052317914.
None is in Angeles directly, the ones in Mabalacat are low quality hotels (even two are short time hotels) and the ones in Clark are all high priced.
Quarantine hotel Manila:
In case I'm not allowed to leave Manila, I have to stay in a Manila quarantine hotel. There is quite a big selection:
https://www.thepoortraveler.net/2020/07/doh-accredited-hotels-quarantine-manila/
Frankly, I don't have any clue, where I should stay. Maybe a hotel which is most convenient to reach a transportation after quarantine. Any recommendations?
Is Ermita still the place with most freelancers?
Visitors in quarantine hotel?:
Seems I won't be not allowed to leave the room, until test result is confirmed negative. And probably they don't allow visitors. Maybe the guard can be convinced with a tip?
And how will be the situation after test was negative? Are they allowing visitors to those who are healthy even they are a quarantine hotel. Or do I need to change the hotel?
I know, most questions can't be answered by now and maybe I will be the one who answer them after I arrived.
But some thoughts and advises would be appreciated.

As for quarantine, many don't follow. Some obviously coughing or sick could be suspected of deliberately being unsafe.

But some thoughts and advises would be appreciated.Well the idea of "quarantine" is that you are not in contact with the local community. Do the right thing and set an example of a traveller than can fly in and follow the rules. "breaking" the rules doesn't help anyone and you can then encourage others to abide and then keep you safe!
Get yourself the closest hotel to the arrival airport and followup testing. Then when you are cleared, then you can start thinking about girls. (Just don't think too much about they have more cases and infections than where you are now.).
From the Manila hotel list.
81. Richmonde Hotel, Eastwood.
Address: 17 Orchard Road Eastwood City Bagumbayan, Quezon City.

Sogos etc are going to be too small for a westerner.
For stringent.
75. Discovery Suites, Ortigas.
Address: 25 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

76. Richmonde Hotel, Ortigas.

From the Pamapnaga list I would go for PARK INN BY RADISSON CLARK.
Unless you have to go there for work, I don't think you will be having much fun. Take some rice to give away to girls, they need food.

Am told this morning by one of my Manila regulars, that the NCR has gone back to ECQ today. Not sure how that changes arrivals (who is allowed, and procedures).Correct. Very strict provisions in NCR now.
I must now stay home as only those under 60 years and with a barangay pass can go to the supermarket.
All barber / coffee shops etc closed again. Ortigas Center is like a ghost town today.
No Grab or taxis running. No MRT or LRT for the next 14 days.

Airport taxis might take you directly to your choice of hotel but it's also possible you will have to wait for the official bus / van to take you.
Absolutely no visitors in your hotel. Quarantine means isolation. (I came through NAIA just 1 month ago so I am speaking from experience. Only 13 A visas were being admitted).
If Bamboo Pete doesn't have a 13A visa he probably will not be able to board the Aug 22 flight. SRRV holders are still being denied entry.

Take some rice to give away to girls, they need food.Wouldn't it be easier and smarter to just give them money and let them buy what they need instead of assuming they need rice and hauling it half way across the globe? Reminds me of a poster in the Brazil thread that went to a chick's apartment and saw gifts from mongers piled in the corner. We assume this would be good for her when in actuality she can not use it or there is something much higher on her list of needs. They may have rice piled to the ceiling already, but no electricity in the house.
They announced a tighter quarantine. Have heard some travelers with problems with the labs that ran the tests.
As for quarantine, many don't follow. Some obviously coughing or sick could be suspected of deliberately being unsafe. The UK has been a shining beacon of what to do in a quarantine if you are from an influential caste. Cummings drives 400 miles. Health minister goes to weekend country home. Johnson's dad hop scotches to Greece vacation property. The US and Brazilian presidents are not setting great examples either.
IMHO, one should stay in place as much as possible. No need to travel to release the blue head. Just do that closer to where one is staying in place. There is always game around. Just bring ear plugs and paper bag as necessary.

So what you are saying is that she is going to sell the 500 peso bag of rice he brings her for 250 pesos so that she can get high? LOL.No. I am with you in that it does not make sense to drag gifts across the globe (when they can easily be purchased in-country). However, I have had filipina ask me for money to buy something that they have no intent on buying. The real intent is to purchase party accoutrements. A real tell in discovering her intent is to offer to buy it for her when she asks for money to buy something specific. If she balks, she's lying about why she needs it; a sure indicator she wants the money for an illicit purpose.
Case: Went to the grocery store with two of my regulars, picked up some groceries for the place, and had them delivered, including three 5 KG bags of rice. The next day the front desk rang: Sir, miss Jenny is here. Really, send her up. I thought she was coming back the following day. "Westy can I have p500 for rice? I can get 10 kg in the market". Sweetie we just bought you 2 kg of rice yesterday. "Its gone". Sweetie if you can carry them, take two of my 5 kg bags, the brand that you chose yesterday. My gift to your family. "What?" Take two of mine, I can have more delivered here. "Take the rice?" Yes. "No. Westy. Sh*t. I don't need a rice. I need money!" I will leave it to your imagination as to what she is going to do with the money should I hand it over. Certainly she will not buy rice with it. Drugs quickly come to mind, but it might be as harmless as a need for booze for her boyfie when he plays cards with his buddies tonight. It would have been better if she'd spent some more time with me to earn some cash, with no need to explain a need. But, asking and lying is quicker.
Never seen a pina's home piled to the ceiling with rice. Nor gifts piled in the corner (family will take and distribute or sell those).

Never seen a pina's home piled to the ceiling with rice. Nor gifts piled in the corner (family will take and distribute or sell those).FWIW. I have never been with a Pinay on drugs or addicted to drugs. Most need money as follows.
Rice.
Rent.
Electric.
Water.
Family.
Medicine.
Most have been shy to tell exactly their needs but when questioned about it they are forthcoming. When in town I will get texts "DG po, I need money for xxxxxx, I come boom boom you. What is time good to come? Up to you what you give me. ".
Some will show the bill openly. Keep in mind most live in legal "squatter" homes which do not have separate bills for electric or water. The main metered squatter will verbally pro-rate the bills to them.
The scams usually come in fake hospital bills or other large emergencies.
Wouldn't it be easier and smarter to just give them money and let them buy what they need instead of assuming they need rice and hauling it half way across the globe? ....Also (for whatever she does need):
Its going to be cheaper in PI than RWML, and.
She will be able to get it cheaper than you.
Cheers.

However, I have had filipina ask me for money to buy something that they have no intent on buying. ...I'm not sure on the PI but in many Asian countries girls are happy to accept in kind gifts as there is very little stigma about products being used or second hand so they retain their value.
In the West, $1000 of jewelry is worth maybe $200 the moment it leaves the store. In many parts of Asia it can be returned to the store or on sold for as little as a 10% loss. Hence, the girls know they can return or on sell their gifts at near full price.

G.I knew a girl that would pawn / loan her same gold necklace every other month for 1. 5 k to pay her rent or electric. As you may know the interest on a pawn / loan is even higher than a 5/6 loan. I asked her why didn't she just sell it? In my mind it wasn't worth redeeming it all the time. She looked at me like I was crazy! After all it was given to her, she couldnt do that!
It worked for me, every few months I would fuxk the hell out of her so she could redeem it.

G.One of the reasons for this is that in Asia jewelry tends to be 24 carat gold where in the west jewelry has less real gold content, 18 carat at the most. Thus because of the high gold content the value is based closer on the price of gold. I discovered this once when a Chinese girlfriend of mine requested a necklace, but wanted it in 24 carat gold. Very hard to find in Houston, Texas. Basically have to find an Asian jeweler. Western jewelers don't like to work with 24 carat gold because it is too soft. She didn't get the necklace because I realized she just wanted it to turn around and sell.

One of the reasons for this is that in Asia jewelry tends to be 24 carat gold where in the west jewelry has less real gold content, 18 carat at the most. Western jewelers don't like to work with 24 carat gold because it is too soft.Jewelry in Asia does not tend to be 24 kt. You said it yourself. 24 kt is too soft, so how would it keep as something like a ring? Other metals have to be added to give it stability. 22 kt is common for something like bracelets and charms though.
Since covid, I have been bored here in Asia so I have been having jewelry made. The options are 10 K, 14 K, and 18 K. You pay market price for the gold and you are charged a separate price for labor. I am having 2 rings made. I paid market price for 18 K, $30 each for 2 diamonds and she is giving me one free, and $130 labor for each ring. There was a difference of $210 between the 14 K and 18 K.
I also bought a 23 k (96%) gold bar for my father's birthday to have it inscribed and diamonds put in. The bar for half oz (15.24 g) was market price at $906. I paid $10 commission to the store. I had the back smoothed out, 2 diamonds added, and stuff written on it for $60.
In the West, $1000 of jewelry is worth maybe $200 the moment it leaves the store. In many parts of Asia it can be returned to the store or on sold for as little as a 10% loss. Hence, the girls know they can return or on sell their gifts at near full price.
So when you take stuff back to sell it in a gold shop, you are given market price minus a commission. You are not offered half of what it is worth as would be the case in a pawn shop.
When in town I will get texts "DG po, I need money for xxxxxx, I come boom boom you. What is time good to come? Up to you what you give me. ".When people debate Thailand and Philippines, defenders of the latter always say "They can speak English so at least you can have a conversation. " Is this sort brilliant dialogue what they are talking about?
BTW: In 2012, the United Nations said the Philippines had the highest rate of methamphetamine use in East Asia.
Jewelry in Asia does not tend to be 24 kt. You said it yourself. 24 kt is too soft, so how would it keep as something like a ring? Other metals have to be added to give it stability. 22 kt is common for something like bracelets and charms though..Asia is a very big continent (and the Philippines is arguably not even in it, since for years they were called "Philippine Islands of the South Pacific" and Filipinos were pacific islanders).
So it depends where you are.
You can absolutely get "24 karat" and it is preferred by most locals. Though when you take it home you might find that it's actually a lower karat.
What they do is get in gold bars and then cut them as they see fit.
For example Thai wedding rings are usually 23 karat. And they're usually misshapen in a week or two. It's not about usefulness though. It's about what the ring is worth. That's why they use high karats.
So "24 karat" which is literally called "gold" in Cambodia is preferred because of resale value. It's used most often for rings, necklaces and big bracelets. The loss when you sell back is around 3 percent. In Thailand the prices have to be publicly displayed by law.
18 karat which is called "platin" in Cambodia sells back at a 5 percent or higher loss. So it is much less popular since people use gold as a store of wealth. A lot of 18 karat gold is made in Vietnam. It's used for things like thin bracelets. It's considered a much inferior product. Again remember that people in Southeast Asia buy gold as a store of wealth, not based on how well a ring holds its shape.
If you go to a place like MBK in Thailand they even have 14 karat gold. If you ask the sellers they will come right out and tell you that they keep this for farang. Farang will buy 14 karat gold and love it. Southeast Asian people don't want it.
Then Japanese people don't want any gold. They considered it gaudy and ostentatious. It looks really bad to wear gold in Japanese culture. Yet Japan is the richest country in Asia.
In Singapore it's easy to find 22 to 24 karat gold. That's what locals want. If you want 14 karat you have to look harder. But you can get 14 karat stuff at places like Cartier and Bulgari where they sell a lesser gold content at a much higher price. This is like the 14 karat gold at MBK in Thailand. It's for people who look at gold differently than most southeast Asians.
Keep in mind the measurements are different in some parts of Asia than what the rest of the world uses too.
Forget the Troy ounce in a lot of Southeast Asia.
In Thailand they sell gold by the Baht. In Cambodia they sell it by the chi and damlung.
You buy gold buy weight in much of Southeast Asia and you can get shaped however you want for a small commission that's like 3 to 20 dollars for most jewelry. But if you're a foreigner who doesn't speak the language you're more than likely going to get charged a lot more than anyone else.
Good luck.
The Kruggerand has the right admixture of copper for a firm wedding ring. That's what I had on hand when the time came. One ounce made two rings. What was it I don't remember 18 or 20 carat.

You buy gold buy weight in much of Southeast Asia and you can get shaped however you want for a small commission that's like 3 to 20 dollars for most jewelry. But if you're a foreigner who doesn't speak the language you're more than likely going to get charged a lot more than anyone else.
Good luck.

From the Pamapnaga list I would go for PARK INN BY RADISSON CLARK.I have written emails to quarantine hotels in Pampanga, including Park Inn. From those who answered, all said they wouldn't pick me up in Manila. So, I have to look for a hotel in Manila, or a taxi to take me to Pampanga. Are taxis allowed to leave Manila?
Correct.
This seems to become my biggest problem now. If I stay in Manila quarantine hotel, how do I get out of Manila afterwards?

If Bamboo Pete doesn't have a 13A visa he probably will not be able to board the Aug 22 flight. SRRV holders are still being denied entry. Are you sure about this? There are different kinds of SRRV visas. Some are for spouses, and some are for people who deposit money.

Am told this morning by one of my Manila regulars, that the NCR has gone back to ECQ today. Not sure how that changes arrivals (who is allowed, and procedures).A friend of mine received a cancellation mail yesterday for his flight in September by Qatar Airways to Clark. I wouldn't be surprised if mine would be cancelled too. Aug 22 via Istanbul by Turkish Airline. Don't think many Filipinos flying from there. Maybe I'm not even sad if they cancel it, if I look at the latest figures of new infections.

Well the idea of "quarantine" is that you are not in contact with the local community. Do the right thing and set an example of a traveller than can fly in and follow the rules. "breaking" the rules doesn't help anyone and you can then encourage others to abide and then keep you safe!I totally agree. It was just a thought how to sneak a girl in, but I decided already, not to do it. Quarantine would only be 3-4 days and these few days are not worth the risk.
What was your criteria to select these hotels? I think, Pasay hotels are closer to the airport. Is it the idea, to get out of Manila by airplane? Would I be allowed to fly from Manila to Clark (via Cebu) after negative test?

When people debate Thailand and Philippines, defenders of the latter always say "They can speak English so at least you can have a conversation. " Is this sort brilliant dialogue what they are talking about? Many, if not most, of the Filipinas that sex tourists interact with are elementary school dropouts. I have quite a bit of formal education but a much smaller Filipino vocabulary than these women's English vocabulary, even though I have been to the Philippines more than 25 times, with visits ranging from two weeks to five months.
I assume Dg's quote from a text message was largely paraphrased, but it did contain 16 or 17 unique English words. I'm not inclined to make fun of their English when I've not been motivated enough to learn their language.

Most spoke very basic English. Of course, that was often one of 5 national and regional languages that they did speak so who was I to judge. 😁.

We should also consider the historical reality that, during the years of the Cory Aquino administration, the Philippines "lost" a generation of English Language teachers because, in a burst of post-Edsa patriotic fervor, she, as mandated a change in the language of instruction in schools from English to Tagalog. Though that mandate has long been overruled by subsequent presidents, the diminution of English Language skills has persisted.

Jewelry in Asia does not tend to be 24 kt. You said it yourself. 24 kt is too soft, so how would it keep as something like a ring? Other metals have to be added to give it stability.
So when you take stuff back to sell it in a gold shop, you are given market price minus a commission. You are not offered half of what it is worth as would be the case in a pawn shop.Mr. E your a cool MFer. Love seeing people buying their parents cool shit.

They are actually more literate than foreigners. Most of them can read and write in English.
Only one bargirl that has trouble reading texting English but her verbal command is good. But she has quite a tight body, beautiful eyes and fuxks like hell despite having 4 kids and is under 30 years old.
Never had a pinay not understand what and when I wanted it in English. No need for an English major here.

GE.One can only imagine what the impact of Covid will have on the educational progress of kids. Millions have not attended school since February. We will know in 10 years time.
Even in my RWML, those to the right are genuinely scared that a six month decline in education standards now will have enormous impact on future GDP. Those to the left don't care because they will continue to receive free money.
quite a tight body, despite having 4 kids LOL! Thanks for the laugh.

No-Go Zones Episode 2.
Its about a place called Quirino and it states that this place is a 100% gang run area and that knife point hold ups are an every occurrence, I don't know how accurate that is. I have never been to this place nor would I want to go for a visit however there is one piece of information this video shed some light on a "New" area I was previously unaware of a few blocks away from that area. They name this area as a area where freelancers look for potential punters. Has anyone been out this way and is it really a red light district or a work of fiction? They look like they set up shop infront the the McDo that I have a street view of in the link down below. It looks like tis in front of the "Gateway Mall" is this a known freelance haunt? There do seem to be some short time hotels near by one called "Clixs Hotel" that seem to cater to a redlight clientele. I'm always open to new mongering grounds if this is in fact an area where freelancers hang out.
