I'm going to Medellin for the first time over the Christmas break. Are there any guest friendly hotels near Parque Lleras. I also reached out to Hotel Medellin M, aka the Mansion. Do you recommend staying there and how are the pickings? I've been to the Del Rey many times and was thinking that the Mansion is like that. Is that true? Sorry for so many questions but I'm a newbie in MDE and have been spoiled by the Rey and Sportsman Lodge in SJ CR. Thanks in advance guys and happy mongering.

Okay I'm going to make this real simple. Any of these folks that tell you to come to El Centro area outside Botero Plaza. Are out of their fucking mind This is one of the worst scenes that I've ever been around and I have been around quite a few. Avoid the areas in that video at all costs. A complete nightmare..... Regardless, I kind of have a similar arrangement, but in reverse. And unless she had sustained some kind of injury she wouldn't have had a leg to stand on anyway.
Police here don't do anything if someone accuses you of assault. Unless you are still there when the polcie arrive, then I'm sure they would have hit me up for money. Quick report about my Saturday night visit to Fase 2. Having lived in Medellin a while this was only my second visit but I was very please about the quality of girls working that night. If you are in a building whether it be an apartment or a hotel that is west facing with a lot of windows, you will probably need air conditioning. I've stayed in several apartments over the years, and the ones that are east facing won't need them as a fan will suffice, however the west facing apartments will get a lot of heat from the afternoon sun, and at a minimum need a fan and even AC at least to cool down a bedroom for sleeping. However, the Colombians are used to the heat. In your case if your going to stay in a cheap hotel, just have them give you a room without direct western exposure and a fan will be fine.

Anyone know of any casas in Laureles near La 70 (yes I can speak Spanish, so give me those ones as well) ? Something simple. Go in, drink a beer or two, BJ, FS or whatever, pay then leave. Just that type. If there is a post with a map somewhere on here, can someone re-post it for me?

I disagree. I recommend air conditioning. It gets hot during the day and a bit humid. Your apartment or hotel without AC will not feel that comfortable. For me, it would be fine. It's a short walk to a L1 Metro Bus station. It's also not too far to walk up to La 70, although there's a few blocks that might make some people nervous if walking at night. There's cheap, reasonable food around.
It all depends on how comfortable you are being off the beaten path.

If you are taking uber everywhere, why does it matter which hotel you book as you are not walking? You need to consider taking taxi too. I went to Parque Lleras last night to do what I said I wanted to to which was take in the scene. I have to say that I thank the members here because I did not walk in blind and stupid. You can find cheap musical instruments in the pawn shops calle 54 west of Parque Bolivar and Palace. At the western end of calle 54 you will run into the street vendors lined up north of Plaza Botero all the way to the Prado metro station. It's probably best to just stick to the pawn shops. Make your purchase by 4 pm and you will have a couple of hours to grab a taxi or uber to get back to El Poblado before dark. If you want to check out girls or casas you should start around noon to leave time for your shopping.

Punto de Encuentro is owned by the same guy who owns Yakuza. He has a bunch of girls on call who also work facebook. He keeps pictures of them his phone he will whatsapp to you. He also has a couple of rooms at the bar. He's a good guy. Don't let the touts put you off, the bar is pretty chill.
I was there one time. Only two chicas there, both maybe 5's. Beers were cheap for me (I think 5 mil), but expensive for the chica (I think 20 mil). I bought a beer for one of the chicas. She chatted for a few minutes, then took her beer and went to another part of the bar and talked with the other chica. I won't go back, but others may have a better experience. One good point is that it is completely open to the sidewalk, so you can check out who's there without going in.

This city never ceases to amaze me. I've been here several times since my first time in summer of 2017 and I am just amazed each time at what I see in terms of beautiful chicas. Whether walking around, Mercado del Rio, riding the metro, or just hanging out in the one of their huge malls, you will see eye candy nearly every second of your time here.
This trip, my main sources for action are Tinder and the many Facebook chicas I've chatted with and will attempt to make "citas" with while here. Yes, I can speak Spanish.
My flight touched down early Tuesday morning at JMC Airport at 1:30 am. My driver (who has driven me around in my previous trips here) was waiting and he got me to my Laureles Airbnb rental in no time. I was checked in and unpacked my stuff in no time. The San Peter apartments in Laureles are great (just off of La 70 at Calle 41 a). They are in a good location, around a lot of restaurants, nice Exito grocery store nearby and some discotecas. They are very chica friendly. When a chica comes and you do not go down to meet them, the front desk calls you to confirm.I have been to punto, the bar off la70. And I would advise against staying there and drinking. The owner Danny is known for ripping gringos off, encouraging his bartenders to charge more for gringos. Amazing what a drink and few lines with the bartenders and what they share. It's 25 mil to take the girls out the bar and most are not putas so you will end up wasting money. Just negotiate the terms beforehand and don't stay in the bar too long. Or get the girls number so you don't have to pay the 25 mil.

If you're a newbie, I suggest Laureles instead of El Centro. San Peter airbnb is better than hotel IMHO.

Can anyone tell me how the Mansion is? I've been to the Del Rey and Sportsman Lodge in San Jose, CR many times. Is it anything like that and do they charge you a chica fee? Instead once you firm up availability and what you want, tell them you are prepared to pay X and let the Chica think about the dinero she is about to reject for a while. Usually that is met with a request for taxi or some such thing and then you can go from there. None of them tend to be rushed and if they are, then its a one and done for me.
Most let you go atleast 2 leches, a few of them will initiate the 2nd one. Usually by that time I am done and ready to move on as well. I don't do TLN for many reasons. If I am really into that chica I might just have her come over again the next day. Once they've seen the dinero they want more. I think 150 k is fair in the FB realm, some would argue even lower. What I will not compromise is on service. If that sucks, its a never again and an instant delete from FB. Too many chicas there to be messing with disinterested ones.
Once you let them call a price, they will shoot for the stars and it gets awkward and messy. Atleast that's been my experience. Most know its crazy but they have all had atleast a few gringos pay that and more. So doesn't hurt to ask right. Most have also put out for a lot less, and usually so.

I think its about the approach with these hoes on FB and how you pitch to them your intentions and how much money you ready to give up as other members on the board are suggesting. I have been negotiating for 100 Mil / hour of BBJ + regular poom poom and 150-175 Mil / Hour for that + the culito. 3 Quick questions (after having RTFT and taken notes on over 90 pages when my boss wasn't watching me):
1.) Hotel: Finally settled on San Peter after reading dozens of conflicting / changing reports. But earlier today someone called it an airbnb rather than a hotel. So I want to make sure I'm booking the correct one. Is the San Peter that is girl-friendly on calle 41 A 70-48? (Bonus if anyone can tell me a better location that is a bit nicer that is girl friendly and doesn't charge more than $15 USD for a guest. For instance, OBO?
2.) Mansion? Since my Spanish is mal (see what I did there?) and this is my first time, I was thinking about staying at the Mansion for the first few days. But it sounds like the quality is meh. Can someone who has recently been tell me if there are 8's to be found?
3.) Finding a nine/ ten: I know for many service trumps looks, but for me, looks trumps service, and therefore I'm willing to pay (but not an absurd gringo fee). Can anyone recommend a provider / FB page / agency / etc?

Since it is your first time, you can try La Isla. It will give you a rough idea. As time goes on, it will become harder to find 9 or above once you are used to the scene.
I would definitely recommend since its your first time to MDE to stay at the Mansion initially to get your bearings and more importantly to network with other mongers and chicas. There is no guarantee on girls since they are all free lancers and they come as they please. One day could be a gold mine, the next a real dump. There is no real place where you will find 9-10's at all. Isla, face dos has a better consistency on better looking girls, but they tend to be very straight to business and clock watchers, just my 2 cents.

I have stayed at San Peter multiple times. It is an apartment complex and not a hotel. The address you listed is correct. There are regular people living in it in addition to many of the apartments listed on Airbnb when the owners are away. Normally, the Airbnb listing won't say San Peter, so you will have to see in map view to figure out which ones are in San Peter. San Peter doesn't charge guest fees, they do check guest ID. There is no limit on the guests.
If you stay at another place that is not guest friendly, or charge guest fees, better option would be to take your guest to a short term love hotel. Their prices are 15 to 40 USD for a few hours. Google love motel Medellin.
I have not stayed in Mansion, now called M1 and M2. I friends who stayed. It may be helpful for first timer with no Spanish to stay there. The chicas are freelancers, so availability may vary.
Finding 9 or 10 is luck and your standards. Someone else's 9 may not be your 9. You just have to look and try to find them. You could go Fase Dos, or La Isla or the other strip clubs to find your 9's. Those will be expensive compared to FB chicas, but once you get their numbers, you can make your deal without the club involved and taking a cut. There is no ordering off the menu, you have to do some selection. For some, the thrill of the chase is part of the fun.

It is an apartment building with all apartments privately owned, by many people. It has been years since I stayed there, so I don't know the rental policies now. I think you must have a reservation with an owner before you arrive. The apartment I rented was very nice, but it appears from the photos that most of the apartments have been reconfigured inside.
During my first few trips, I found many 9's. Now, not so many. The ladies are just as pretty as in the beginning, but my bar has been raised because there are so many beautiful ladies. I have never been to Europe, so I can't make any comparisons, but Latinas are higher on my bar than Orientals.

San Peter's exact address is Calle 41 a #70-42. It is basically a few steps from Carrera 70 (La Setenta as it is called by the locals).
The good thing is you can put "San Peter Apartments" in any GPS based app (Google Maps, Uber, Rappi, etc) and it pops up immediately.
Like another ISG'er stated, the girl must have an ID (Cedula in Spanish) to get in. The front desk woman will record her information and she's good to go up to your pad for the chilling, sucking and / or pounding. If you do not go down to meet the chica the front desk will call your room to confirm she's good to come up.
I love this place and have stayed here many times.
I was heartbroken to see the little restaurant JM+ Grill closed. That is where I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner (all 3 on some days when I did not feel like exploring).

I was wondering if they charge a chica fee every time you bring a girl to your room.There was a report that they charged a fee if you brought in an outside girl for an overnight stay. However, there's no charge for taking girls to your room for girls on-site and no charge for short time visits by any outside talent.
I'm wishy-washy on whether or not staying at the Mansion is a good idea. For a first time visitors, especially one with minimal foreign mongering experience, it's a good resource. You'll meet many experienced mongers, you'll gain confidence and it couldn't be much easier: Get up, eat breakfast, relax for awhile. Go to lunch with another monger, drop by the pool, grab a girl, take her to your room. Then relax some more, go get some dinner, go to the bar, grab a girl, go to your room. Repeat as necessary.
On the other hand, many of the guys you meet there have been staying at the Mansion for 10 years. Every visit they follow the same routine. In all the time they are still stuck with a Spanish vocabulary of 50 words. It's easy to get into that same habit.

The bar makes money, the girl makes money and they'll happily continue the arrangement as long as you're buying.
If your goal is to sit and chat with a girl, buying a few lady drinks might be the way to go. If you're looking for something more, skip the drinks and get to the point.

If I already have experience with the girl, there's no issue. She knows what I'll pay and knows what I expect. For new girls I tell them what I usually pay. If they insist on a higher price, I tell them I'll check back with them another day. Occasionally I'll accept, but add something of my own, such as telling her she'll have to stay for 3 hours.
If you're happy with what you're paying, don't worry about it. So what if someone else is paying less? There are plenty of guys paying a lot more than you are. There are guys spending $1000-$2000 a day to take these same girls all over the world, buying them ridiculously expensive gifts and getting the same amount of pussy as you're getting on $100 a day. About once a month I see some Medellin working girl announcing her engagement, or marriage, to some gringo. Boggles my mind.
Something else to be aware of:
Prices be quoted by these girls when you're 4,000 miles and 4 weeks away have no relation to the price she'll want when you're in Medellin. The girls are smarter than most think they are. They'll happily say yes to anything, when they know you're not buying today. The price you'll pay when the time comes may be higher, or lower. The services you receive may be more or less than you bargained for.
Trying to nail down anything specific before you're in town is a waste of time. Introduce yourself. Chat a bit. Tell her when you will be in town and that you want to see her. Then forget about her until 2 days before you arrive. Remind her when you arrive and let her know you'll be in touch. When you're ass (and cash) is in Medellin is the time to deal with specifics.
And may I ask what you usually pay? I always go for $150 mil rate, girls usually just stay for 1 shot and leave soon afterward. Some will want $200, I thought that was normal rate.

I do not want any newbies to think that I am an expert on FB chicas. I am only reporting my one trip to Medellin. There are many guys here who have WAY more experience than I do. So basic instructions: In the profiles I have provided look for Gringo friends who have open friends list. Very rare but there are some and its sometimes the mother lode, but not all their chica friends are going to be prepago. I found out the hard way. Sorry for writing this late, but I got lazy once back and there wasn't much to share compare to escapades I've read here, but nonetheless, You all helped getting the lay of land so I'm going to share my maiden experience.
This was my first trip to S. America / I am mostly on European route and been to several countries but wanted to try something different so ended up in MDE. This is indeed a gold mine if you can get over the language barrier and stick to common sense safety rules. This city never ceases to amaze me. I've been here several times since my first time in summer of 2017 and I am just amazed each time at what I see in terms of beautiful chicas. My flight touched down early Tuesday morning at JMC Airport at 1:30 am. The San Peter apartments in Laureles are great (just off of La 70 at Calle 41 a). They are in a good location, around a lot of restaurants, nice Exito grocery store nearby and some discotecas. Think of ATM withdrawal fees as cheap insurance premiums. For $3 to $5 per transaction you avoid the risk of theft or losing up to $1,000. There are some guys who can't have an audit trail of bank account transactions in Colombia. If you don't have that concern I don't see any advantage in carrying that amount of cash from home to Colombia, from the airport to your hotel, then again from your hotel to a currency exchange. You could make ATM withdrawals much more discreetly and know who is or isn't watching you do it. If I'm looking for a foreigner to jack, I'm going to post up at an exchange house and watch for large transactions. If you go that route, try to avoid doing it alone.

They sometimes have really good rate. The cambios I find always try to give you the lowest possible. Please note it varies almost every single day. And from my experience I don't think there is any limit. I changed 800 $ without any problems. Another thing you can do is use credit card cash advance which would have like a 5 $ charge depending on your bank.

I usually think that Exchange places are rip-offs - just use your ATM card - your bank gets a better deal than you will is what I always read. And ATM withdrawals are a flat fee compared to the percentage you're paying to the exchange places - but if your math is completely correct than you may be on to something - I got charged $5 per withdrawal by Colombian banks - usually for 400k pesos - with exchange fee from Chase being about 3%

Scotiabank is not a mom & pop bank it's considered a multinational and even list Colombia as a country where it has branches-Wikipedia.
Make damn sure that you put a travel alert on your card though, I've had mine shut down in Colombia before, both of my bank accounts have a option inside the app to enter a travel alert it asked me where I'm traveling and what dates. If you can't find one then the app call your bank with the number on your card.
I have had those same concerns. I found the best way for me is that I bring 3 different ATM cards for my trip. I make sure each one has at least $1,000 in them.This right here is the ticket. Also can recommend Charles Schwab as a checking account as they always refund ATM fees at the end of the month. Has always worked best for me!

It would be hard to believe that your debit card wouldn't work at either of these two banks in Colombia. But you should always bring more than one debit card or some cash in case your card gets lost or stolen.

I personally don't like the chicas at Gustos or, in general, the putas that walk the street in Lleras. You can accomplish about the same with a Facebook girl for less money. This is my personal opinion. Gusto girls normally will ask for 200 to 250 dollars, most of them will come down to 150-200 dollars. I think it is well worth it. With a Gusto girl, I can dance and play with her all night in the club, in my case, typically from 12 am to 4 am (I some times take them to Paradise after Gusto closes to party a bit more). I then take her home to fuck her brain out for a few hours, next day I typically follow up with some morning sex. All these for 200 dollars is a steal, doesn't matter how you look at it. You can buy Colombian pesos from Bank of America in the US, before you leave. You usually get a better exchange rate and avoid ATM fees. If any left over after the trip, they buy it back from you. There are fees involved tho.Checking the current rate, BofA exchange rate is about 9% worse.
ATM is the best rate, especially if you have a no fee card like Schwab.
If you contact the issuing bank they will tell you whether or not you can use the card in Colombia. They will also tell you what the fees would be.

I keep an AMEX card that I can use to make withdrawals from my checking account as a backup to my ATM card. The fees are a few dollars per transaction on top of the ATM fee but I only use in case my ATM card is lost or stops working. I can also use it if I need to exceed the ATM card's $500 daily limit. I can't remember that ever happening.
I have had those same concerns. I found the best way for me is that I bring 3 different ATM cards for my trip. I make sure each one has at least $1,000 in them.
I assume you still pay them the agree price if you didn't feel like fucking them after the party? It happen to me once.
I personally don't like the chicas at Gustos or, in general, the putas that walk the street in Lleras. You can accomplish about the same with a Facebook girl for less money. I have Facebook girls who I take out to dance and drink. Eventually we go back to my apartment and fuck. Usually they stay over. Think of ATM withdrawal fees as cheap insurance premiums. For $3 to $5 per transaction you avoid the risk of theft or losing up to $1,000. There are some guys who can't have an audit trail of bank account transactions in Colombia. If you don't have that concern I don't see any advantage in carrying that amount of cash from home to Colombia, from the airport to your hotel, then again from your hotel to a currency exchange. You could make ATM withdrawals much more discreetly and know who is or isn't watching you do it. If I'm looking for a foreigner to jack, I'm going to post up at an exchange house and watch for large transactions. If you go that route, try to avoid doing it alone.Actually a good place to use ATM's and with security looking over your shoulder is at the Exito in Poblado on Calle 10. There are numerous ATM's inside the store and on the[perimeter where security is stationed. The best exchange rate will be from Scotia versus BanColombia ATM's, but there others as well. You can make a withdrawal and then go shopping inside the store if your paranoid that somebody is watching you, however mostly Colombians are making withdrawals from the ATM's there. It's not a known tourist stop where foreigners would typically be getting money like at an exchange house.

" Been solo, with another dude, and with other gringo females who just like watching crazy shit. Have also pulled some phone numbers while there, to call later. Also been to some sketchier-looking places down the street. I've been during the day, and pretty late at night.
I've never had any issues in any of these spots. I also stayed in Mandarin Oriental #2 barrio in a casa Antigua for over a month, and had a dozen gringos visit me over that time, including my female family members, and no one had any issues, although we were constantly told how dangerous it was there. It wasn't. Both day and night.
This is not to say robberies don't happen. Or that my short experience isn't representative. I just think a lot of the fear gets overplayed. If anyone would like to join me in El Centro between Nov 23 - Dec 2, let me know.

The only thing I notice is that the Botero hotel avenue looks a bit run down & the streets are always crowded which means there will be pick pocketers present.
I know in my country (Jamaica) I always see naive white tourists with backpacks walking around shady areas or going to parties in complete ghettos that most normal people in the country wouldn't go to & I may be wrong but I feel that it's these types of tourist who get caught with their pants down the most.
I personally don't plan to walk around centro with a lot of valuables on my person nor care to bring back girls to my hotel nor withdraw $ from the ATM's in the ubicacion, these are things I don't do in my home country so I wouldn't do it in Colombia either.
Hopefully I see atleast one of you guys on here around the area during November 6-20th, if so we should get a drink.

Been to both places, downtown kingston and medellin centro and you're not going to have issues as long as you use your common street sense. Just don't let your guard down and don't attract attention to yourself and don't be drunk. Simple rules and everything will be Ire. You are going to have a fantastic time. The chicas are sweet and its point and click in casas, and manageable in centro. Keep a low profile whenever possibe. And stay around where people are, avoid isolated areas/alleys etc. That worked for me. Using the metro was dead easy, and allowed me to get my steps in every day I was there. I mixed a lot of toursty things in with my trip so didn't care for more than the 1-2 HR of company for the day, but you have all sorts of options there. Not sure how your spanish is, but every extra word you know helps.

I literally had this concern last month when heading to Cartagena. Every place seemed anti visitor. Or are they. Is this just a cover up to appear as if they do not market or tolerate sex tourism? But I just found out my Hotel appears to be non guest friendly. There's no way I'm willing to stay 6 days in this city and not be able to see you. I'd rather spend time with you in a nice comfortable hassle free place where we can really enjoy the nice modern location than in some love motel! (The hook). Where are you're favorite hotels or apartments to meet clients. Specifically a place that when you come, I don't have to. Blah blah" (the reel in). These chicas responded Every time. "Que rico amor" as if she feels like this will really benefit her long term. LOL jajaja they listed 3 or 4 of their favorite guest friendly hotels / air bnb locations. That is simply a lead. Look into the more commonly mentioned places. Now I'm not doubting there will be some proximity motives and plans from a few chics but I noticed a lot of the same hotels in each of the responses. And even a lot of the places with guest policies that are "not enforced". I specifically target the Venezuelan chicas too. A lot of them have no ID for this place and know where to go for "Hassel free". One chick even told me which guards to name drop at some of the hotels. Which turns into a simple 10 to 20 k pesos and a high five. Overall the chicas are an amazing resource for this. I can not suggest a specific place in Medellin outside of Air BNBs. That's my golden nugget. Specifically from the group "life afar". They normally have a key to the main entrance. I've yet to see a security guard at their apartments. Which is my personal preference. But I do see cameras in every hallway and stairwell. Just pm the owners of your Airbnb he / she are normally respond with a thumbs up or down. But for anything outside of that pick the chicas brains if you don't think the mongerers here will share in enough detail! Or. 2 weeks ago walked in New Life. Went with a group that required two taxis. Drivers split up on "accident". Half of us ended up at New Life the other taxi at Energy.
The girls in New Life had round numbers hanging from their lingerie. We walked to a big blue door with a huge white metal gate inside. I Guessing to keep out maybe the cops or robbers LOL. Pressed the buzzer. A few seconds later the gate made a loud click and unlocked. Myself and 3 amigos walked up about 15 concrete stairs and we're treated at the top by a short Asian or Hispanic lady in regular clothes. She said please and points to a room with maybe 8 chairs. We sit down and while walking I noticed another room with about 5 guys in there next to ours. And another lobby with 2 guys in chairs. All gringos haha. The prices for 30 mind or 1 hour were posted on the wall. Literally like 25 dollars. She brought us all beers. We laughed as from our waiting room we could see guys walking up an down from the upstairs holding absolute stunners hands. Heading to or leaving heaven hahaha.

The only benefit in Mansion is that you are chceking the goods right there, you are safe in most instances (not going to doppamined by girl), but service can be meh. Never been to DR so can't compare to that.
You can have a girl visit you at mansion; I didn't call in one, but a couple of guests told me that I can. In busy hour, there's so many gals out there that you will likely find one of your interest.
Don't stay Sun or Mon in mansion. Those are pretty dead days (I stayed till sun- and it was 1/4th of what I saw on FRI).

There is the further benefit of no risk of a criminal record and getting caught up in a vice sting..Exactly. With the new laws state side, and increasing enforcement, that is an added benefit. Also, the supply state side has taken a hit due to the advertising venues getting shut down.
So, it is definitely worth while to travel once in 3 months and stay for a week.
I have been to Medellin 3 times earlier, and was not plugged into Facebook. I went to Fase Dos, Energy, SA chicas, and one girl, a an expat who lives there hooked me up with. She is his regular. Anyway, I paid more than the typical FB prices on those trips, but every trip was less than USD 2000 door to door. All of them were about a week long, and I either had an over night or met 2 or more on a night.
So this is definitely a lot of value for the money. Since, I have now discovered FB, it would be interesting to see how it might work out.
On a side note, I have walked alone on La 70 area etc, alone past midnight, and other than seeing some odd folks looking for bottles etc. In trash, I didn't perceive any danger. I am not suggesting anyone should do it, and take standard precautions for urban settings. Everyone's situation is different. I am a big guy, with tan skin and I get easily mistaken for a Colombian. My Spanish is not very good, but it was non existent initially. So, if I didn't talk, people would assume I was Colombian and talk to me in Spanish.
Also, as I try to speak Spanish and improve my language skills, many chicas told me that my gringo accent Spanish is kinda cute and sexy. LOL.
