I was in Amsterdam some years ago (before my zest for erotic mongering became unbound) sitting in a smoke shop, browsing the menu. An fellow American saddled up next to me and we chatted a bit. We shared the laminated menu of the smorgasbord of weed. I was inclined for the smaller, but higher quality choices (b52, northern lights, blah blah blah all the stuff with names) where as he wanted quantity. Beany stuff but lots of it.

Turns out the guy was from LA, a teacher no less. My question to him was, "why would you go so far to the ShangriLa of drugs only to smoke the trash you can get anywhere?

Never really got an answer, but my attitude is if you are going to a city known for its one thing and you crave to partake in that one activity, why lessen your experience by doing what you would do at home? Even if girls are weak 7's in Medellin, they are either unattainable in the US, or so expensive by the time you nutted twice you could have had a whole trip and 4 or 5 experiences with sexy girls.

To each their own and this way is mine.

She definitely targets gringos that do not know better. I am not attracted to her but I had her somehow on my old FB list. I seldom ever go to Gustos but one night I did and saw her there. I talked to her (in spanish) for a bit and she asked me if I was interested in a session for 300 k. I politely declined.

The only Laura Bustamante that comes up for me in Medellin is from Bello, looks kinda chunky / fat and has an unsightly birthmark on her face. Hard to imagine this is the girl I have heard people raving about.

Makes me curious. Is it a case of YMMV and we all like different things or is there another chica with this name and I can't find the good one?

LOL..

There were some fun and interesting responses to that post here the other day, but you missed one. Only for the sake of completeness and not because it's important, some of the girls chew the ends of the sticks flat. They make a great little Tussi spoon for cheap.

Also, I think some of them enjoy the juvenile look but I guarantee you the cute girl in my photos here is of legal age, cedula confirmed. She was cute, personified. I only saw her once a long time ago, for reasons that escape me now. Obviously she is still stuck in my brain, a little bit at least. Keep On Keepin' On!

There's been a lot of mention about the Mansion.
First question, the Mansion and Loutron are one and the same?
.No its not. Just look up Hotel Medellin Plaza. All contact dets are online.

I'll be honest, I have never tried FB, because I already have 2 accounts, one personal and one business, and creating a 3rd one for mongering purposes is not appealing to me. Maybe I will give it a try someday. But I have tried Tinder, Bumble, Colombian Cupid, SA, Lleras, casas, strip clubs, you name it. And from my experience, 150-200 mil girls are not up to my standards (I wish they were). I have yet to find an 8 or 9 in this price range. But hey, even SA or Tinder require a shit ton of work. Literally hours a day. If you say FB is even more complicated, my respect to those who are patient enough to make it work.

My understanding / explanation is simple. If the girl is objectively hot and is in high demand, sooner or later she will find her way to migrate to locations or platforms where she could earn the most. SA, Gustos, etc. You may consider yourself lucky if you find one who is new to the business, or just moved to town, or just still searching for the right place to sell her pussy. I'm not saying it is impossible, but when you are in MDE for a short period of time, your chances are slim. I spent 2 months in MDE this summer and haven't found any good looking ones under 200 mil.Well said. There are lots of pornstars that retired from escorting as they can make more through onlyfans.

I've been reading some of the reviews and really looking forward to my trip for a business meeting in Medellin at the end of the month. I've found a few casas for my first experience here, but if someone has a recommendation for a gringo with only a few words of Spanish I'm all eyes.

I definitely work harder at work if it means bigger bonuses / RSUs.Admin marked my earlier post as argumentative, so I'll try to post this in a more obviously benign way Anyways you're confusing ISG with Blind. With regards to RSUs and where they come into the compensation picture, most people here have no idea what you're talking about.

There's been a lot of mention about the Mansion. I've heard about it on YouTube and read about it here. Searches on Duckduckgo give poor results and Google does the same.

First question, the Mansion and Loutron are one and the same?

Searches give an address in the south eastern hills, but I've seen a couple phone numbers for the place. For all the mention of booking a stay there, how does one do it?

Phone in a reservation? If so, what is THE number? And is it WhatsApp friendly?

Make one online? If so, what is the site?

Thanks much in advance.

No its not. Just look up Hotel Medellin Plaza. All contact dets are online.I also found this confusing back when I was researching it. Because it is like it goes by three names although maybe La Mansion is a nickname but still; The web address has Hotel Medellin Plaza in it. In Google search results it is the one that says "Hotel M: Home" On Google Maps it says "Hotel M S. A. S" On the front of the building it says Hotel M. If you go to their website they have a 1+ number based in the USA so you can call from USA without calling international: if that helps.

Thanks much in advance. There are 2 buildings, M1 (main) and M2, located within a couple of streets of each other.

M1 - http://www.hotelmedellinm.com/rooms.html.

M2 - http://www.casaalejandria.com/.

I'm not allowed to post the email address per forum rules but you can find it on either side and they respond within 24 hours (always in the AM). All comms so far have been in English.

I've taken advice given here, and I've decided to stay there exclusively for my first trip in a few weeks time. It is more expensive generally than hotels of similar standard, but the services, safety and opportunities to meet ladies and mongers on site far outweighs the extra cost in my opinion.

Obviously, the lighting changed, the elements changed a little. I used the wide-angle lens for the darker shot. I think both shots are halfway decent, maybe not professional by any means but just shows to go you what you can do with a simple telephone camera. Same girl, same pose, seconds apart.

Now that I'm looking at them again just before I post, the darker one is definitely the artsy-fartsy one, jaja.

I just completed my first trip to Medellin, 09/30 - 10/07, and it was a complete 10/10 out-of-the-park experience. A little about myself, I'm a 61 years young stud that will compete with many 30 and 40 years old in the business world, sports, and overall life. Single and financially secure that will not argue with a Colombiana about 50 K pesos. Life and time are more precious than that. I have been mongering for over 30 years, Tijuana, Costa Rica, Peru, Europe. I speak, read and write fluent Spanish. I was a significant contributor with CRT and have not posted any reports or comments here in ISG. I lost some of the writing drives, but I'm using this as a debrief, therapy outlet for a great trip with this new trip. Hopefully, this helps others as it helps debrief me.

If you are new to our sport and traveling to Medellin, stay at Hotel M, La Mansion. You will be taken care of and spoon-fed until you say, "No mas". Yes, the place could use some repairs and changes, but the proximity to some of the guy's experiences and knowledge will outweigh any issues. The staff is excellent, and the front office was always willing to help at M1. I heard about some problems at M2, but I cannot report what I did not experience. For breakfast, I had about a 100 years of mongering experience surrounding me, BS-ing and answering any questions I had. Also, you can find Casas and club wingman ready to assist. Even with my experience and communicating with the chicas, I benefited greatly by staying there. It played to my style of mongering more than the FB or Tinder approach that others are using. You can always use both, YMMV..Thanks a lot for making it easier for newbies like me to understand the Medellin scene. I can assure you that it is very timely and helpful.

Thanks a lot.

I am not exactly a Casa guy and prefer sex in my hotel room, at my own pace. But for a first timer to MDE, I will have to have most of my shots in Casas I guess as I am not into GB / Tinder etc and do not like clubbing.

So, naturally I have some questions about casa scene in MDE (mostly in el centro), please clarify few things for me.

1. Are there any showers in most casas?

2. Are threesomes available? Do they have specials like buy one get one free LOL.

3. I have done some RTFF and understand that girls will introduce themselves. But when do you ask them whether they do anal, DFK, provide GFE experience and have natural tetas? Or do you just take a chance.

4. Are the rooms and bed sheets clean?

I will appreciate any tips that experienced mongers might want to share about the casa scene.

With regards to RSUs and where they come into the compensation picture, most people here have no idea what you're talking about.First, some of us understand what RSUs (Restricted Stock Units) are. If you understand them, then at least provide some sort of explanation before accusing the poster of confusion. RSUs are one more incentive in the workplace besides a salary, hence it can be used as an additional incentive under the right circumstances.

4. Yes very clean. But room quality is very variable. ST Hotels for streets girls. Rooms can be very dodge.

As I noted in my write-up about Laura and other girls in Medellin.

http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/forum/showthread.php?583-Medellin-Reports&p=2366511#post2366511.

Her style is not normally attractive to me, but she carries it off with a certain flair. No, she is not a spinner, but she's fun, knows her way around a man's body, is a good communicator, doesn't play games, and has a great attitude. AND she's got a nice rack and a terrific head game. I'd sooner be in bed with her than a conventionally hot girl who is mechanical and unskilled.

If will take some adjustment on cleanses in South America in general except Brazil if you are used to monger is Asia. The only place that I remember is clean enough for me is La Isla and they are a maid working on site. Hot water is not a given in all places.

Don't expect too much in cheaper places, wet / used towel is not uncommon, even Loutron gave me wet towel. Some places give you only one towel for you and the girl.

You basically prefer venue that GFE is not default and avoid places that is easier to get GFE.

Thanks.Loutron is a brothel or casa/MP. I guess the confusion is because Loutron is at a property that is a mansion that used to belong a famous guy. My personal suggestion is to skip Loutron. If you want to spend that kind of money, go to La Isla which has more and better selection, and you have better chance getting GFE.

You can consider Mansion is a hotel with FB girls on site. The number varies.

Thanks.Loutron is a night club/casa, not a hotel. You cannot book a room there. The Mansion is a hotel with free-lance ladies on site most of the time. Quantity and quality of the ladies depends on who wants to be there at any given time.

Gents,

I will be in MDE on my first trip soon. Experienced monger, speak some Spanish. I plan to stay in Poblado area.

Which area is best and totally safe to pick up some freelancers in the day or evening (not in the night) that I can bring to my hotel? Is it Parque Lleras? And approx what would be taxi cost to travel from there to, lets say mansion hotel in Poblado?

And by the way, is a photocopy of passport photo page along with a copy of page with arrival stamp good enough as ID on the streets? Thanks to anyone who can help me.

The Mansion's business's must be thriving these days with all the newbie Colombian mongers showing up in town.

And yes, you will be paying thru the nose for everything, especially if you partake in the ladies who frequent the place.

Bonvoyage!

Guys need tours of Botero Plaza?

Botero Real has had police sit up in the office area for hours on at least 4 days I have noticed this past week. I asked two girls working there why the police are there and they both replied that there have been problems. I stayed there for 2. 5 months and I am in there a lot so they know me so believe I what they said since I also asked each of them separately.

Today I went to Botero Real and a gringo and chica were arguing. She did not fulfill the promised service is best I could make out of it. They part ways and 10 minutes later they are back with 3 police officers. Not sure what came of it but all left in under 10 minutes.

Stupid foreigner who speaks Spanish, who at the very most offered 100 mil ($27) for an hour or special services. So at worst he lost $27. That is not worth getting the police involved. All the girls outside the hotel and all her friends now know he is toxic. He is easy to spot and remember because he uses a cane. She is now angry, embarrassed, and may be more shy around taking foreigners now. I had been with the girl twice and she was good. I should have got involved but I had no idea the level of his stupidity to actually get the police.

I ask for advice via PM or here.

I'm in Scandinavia and looking for both causual sex and long-term relationship in Medellin, a city I have lived in and Colombia in 6 stays for 4-6 months 2006-2018. I look only for Medellin, maybe adding Brasil in time; since the girls / people are even more warm there, but it's necessary to learn good Portuguese.

Just like Al Pacino in The Devil's Advocate; "So many mistakes". And finally you two- the perfect couple.

Well in my case, she is a reincarnation of Connie Nielsen. I'm like a normal blahalaha-person.

This Connie Nielsen starts with being super-serious, and that she works 10-17 hs a day, two jobs, making 1. 1 million pesos a month, all goes to mom and sobrina. Then she gets evicted and the vecina helps her.

OK, then she shows up on video message; like a film star, incredibly beautiful, elegant. She had already send me pics and we had video-chatted for confirmation, but this video, jesus, she is hot!

She 30 years old, Medellin-paisa and is professional in fasion-design, but works with in Exito and in a home as assistant.

Well, all the clothes, makes-up, new 10.0 white teeth, eyes for sure improved etc, What is her agenda? I have told her I have no money to send or to visit her, I'm finishing academic exams to be able to apply for PhD-employment and to do that work mainly in Medellin and Israel. But right now, for a money hungry beauty, what is she up to?

I skyped with a pasia like this and after conversation she forgot to close her session; she and her friend talked about strategies of how to seduce and scam extranjeros / gringos. They had like a full arsenal of tricks!

In this case I understand she is all lies, but how shall I handle it?

Does she seeks Visa here in Schengen and looking for a legit address?

She can actually entry 90 days tourist visa, shift to GB, Norway, Switzerland, Dublin for 90 days and then return to Schengen. In escort sites; GB, London is the place to be for escorts; there are so many foreign escorts of high class, while Germany has many street and club chicas.

So; how can I befriend her with out being rude?

I have had a prepago Luxury friend before from LAC, she never worked in Colombia; only luxury in Mexico, Panama, Brazil; I feel this Connie Nielsen type is about the same in looks and agenda.

She is working hard right now to reach a goal; Like she is being a sexworker of all kinds until she can buy that apartment, make new adjustment at the Rosario clinic, some exotica vacation (without ant Arab prince paying for it and being murdersly jealous), and update everything; she is paisa and looks are 101% of her market value.

But why me?

How should I approach her?

I think she might be looking for a place to stay in Europe / Schengen.

She might wanted me to send WU money, which I declared I have not money for right now.

She might want me to by a ticket to Europe.

Any advice; this experience is very important for the purpose to find about how the "enemy"-side thinks and act.

Showed the girl phone porn photos of different positions plus BBBJ and DATY pointing to us both. T'was either yay or nay. Occasionally got a look of horror and the door slammed shut in my face LOL.

Guys need tours of Botero Plaza? It is like "Find Waldo" in the maze of people. There are many girls available but they are not standing on the corner or dressed slutty so they are missed. It is not like Bogota. I know better. Showing guys around only creates problems for me. They get seen with me and the girls think his is my buddy and is thus safe but he ends up being like the guy I posted about and calls the police on the girl. Then she and all her friends get mad at me. I will happily walk guys to the Centro casas to save them time and give me something to do. But I am not going to shit where I eat like others do because I know better. Prime example listed below.

will be available Saturday for a tour of Parque Botero if anyone needs to know the do's and donts. If not everyone have fun, be safe, and get what you came to Medellin for, Tallman if you're around and want a beer or a girl, its on me, I owe you one or two! Pollo Negro is out!

I will appreciate any tips that experienced mongers might want to share about the casa scene.I am also traveling to Medellin for the first time soon, except I will be in Poblado. Between photoprepagos and pasion I have exchanged messages with a few chicas who seem to do what I want. Oral completo / trios / besos con lingua. I've done this a few times in other cities and chatting ahead of time has worked well enough so far, but maybe not this time. If they aren't available when I'm in the city and ready I'll move on quickly and try a casa. You never know, so I wouldn't mind a little more info on nearby casas too.

I just completed my first trip to Medellin, 09/30 - 10/07, and it was a complete 10/10 out-of-the-park experience.Action-filled report, but how much should I expect to spend for this kind of trearment if I go to Medellin?

Guys need tours of Botero Plaza?Yes, but not in the sense your thinking.

The place is getting ruined with the on-slaught of newbie Colombian mongers that have arrived within the last six months.

They basically could be defined as "ugly Americans" albeit they are from all over the world and are typically loud, arrogant, demeaning, thoughtless, and ignorant.

I stay clear of these imbeciles in Centro, and refuse to meet up with anyone to give them a tour.

And as I have said before, I stay under the radar when there.

She had already send me pics and we had video-chatted for confirmation, but this video, jesus, she is hot!.My advice is simple and free and straight to the point. Dump her, move onto the next, you realize that there are millions of Colombians who are in the game and will do whatever they need to do or say to get money and / or get ahead, again pay no attention to her and of course don't send any money, friends are fine but send nothing and have no expectations.

This is the woman's culture here, to steal and lie and do whatever they need to do to get money.

Don't even bother communicating with any Colombian woman if your in another country, heck I get so much pussy here in Medellin that I need to shut my whatsapp off so I can rest, hehehehe.

And your considering marriage to a paisa, wow you need to visit a good psychiatrist in your country, hehehehe seriously they are fun and yes I often / weekly get off the charts sex from the paisa sweethearts but they are what they are, have fun and but no one serious no matter what she her promises you or how good she can suck your dick.

Good luck!

The Tall Man.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.If you're staying at the Mansion the best and safest place to find freelancers is at the Mansion, at the pool during the day, in the bar at night.

There are no freelancers in Parque Lleras until night time. Taxi from the Mansion should be about 6 k.

I spent 2 months in MDE this summer and haven't found any good looking ones under 200 mil.True Story: I mongered with MiamiBoy all summer in Rio and Colombia and dude has some high standards- BUT at the same time is seeking value. I'm a little easier to please but also picky in my own way. Perfect thing in a wingman: someone who you can chill with, agree on about 60- 75% of chicks, but also are not always chasing the same exact tail. Similar budget helps too as I wouldn't want to monger with a weekend millionaire or conversely a broke dude. Hope to someday monger with MiamiBoy again.

Reflecting on my experiences in both countries, my feeling is that both Colombia and Brazil require work- but Colombia much more so. It's somewhat surprising to see how popular the Medellin thread is given the level of difficulty this particular scene requires when rated against other international destinations and I can only assume the proximity to the states is a key factor. Mongers who speak fluent Spanish or Portuguese also will not register these destinations as the same degree of difficulty as non linguistic mongers nor will Mongers who have not experienced places like Pattaya, Bangkok, or Angeles City where foreign language and intricate knowledge of semi-hidden destinations or elaborate social media methodologies is not required.

The easiest thing to do in Medellin is to grab an Airbnb within walking distance from Parque Lleras and just pull girls from there daily for 100-200 K. I discovered I could find acceptable spinners who would do BBBJ and CIM which are non-negotiable requirements for me. The problem with this approach is that about half of these girls will give shitty service and because you are so close to Lleras, just be clock-watching ready to get back to make more money.

I never bothered with Gustos because I felt the price point was too high compared to the supposed quality which honestly I was not impressed with. Gusto's seems to be more for guys who want to flex and throw money around- to feel like pimps sitting in booths with their crew ordering bottles etc. In my opinion this is a huge waste of money and also boring. I had more fun sitting in the bar below Gustos watching the talent come and go.

I also didn't mess with Casas because of the difficulty of getting anything uncovered, which again- is a requirement for me if only a BJ.

Centro is enticing as far as price and the occasional talent, but for someone with only basic Spanish skills its fairly daunting trying to figure out where to take the girl and deal with the general chaos of the scene. The low price point means that poor service is less of a big deal, but it's not fun wasting your time and I'm sure a lot of time is wasted trying to monger in Centro. I will try Centro again and hopefully find success.

Miami Boy can speak for himself, but it seems like his method of doing all the legwork on Tinder / SA did ultimately yield the highest quality talent with the best service- BBFS, BBFSCIP but the drawback is the premium price and the amount of wrangling you need to do trying to contact these girls, deal with their flaking, chronic lateness, etc. In my limited time there and my level of fatigue from spending the ten weeks prior in Brazil- I just didn't have the energy / motivation to exert this much effort and so ended up dipping out after 3 weeks in the country.

Brazilian Termas, in contrast, represent ease, consistent value, service and talent without the drawbacks that all the other methodologies in Medellin / Bogota come with. It very easy to find PSE, BBBJ / CIM- (although BBFS is still more rare), service is almost always much much better, you don't deal with flaking because the girls are there in house, and the price points are reasonable. It's simple, you go to a terma, hang out, have a beer, pick a girl, and fuck. Thirty minutes in a basic room comes to about $300 BRL which is roughly $54 USD or $205,000 COP. These are the same quality girls that would ask 500 k at Gustos, give you a lame hour session ask for a propina and dip.

Medellin will continue to be popular because there is great talent and value to be had- but my main point is to acknowledge that its not an easy scene, not even for Latin America. If you haven't experienced alternatives you remain ignorant of this fact. Or it could be you just prefer Latinas to Asians. I will be returning, but just for brief visits.

I once chatted with a paisa and she wanted money.

I blocked her.

Then in PL I meet her at a bar. With her American novio, an Oil Guy; like JR Ewing.

This stay firm of her offer of a serious relationship with me; even since I told her I have a lot of experiences since 15 years.

She babble around of falling in love and nothing else; the money is always the main thing here, as of any woman of 3rd world country.

But why me?

Why not dae millionaires?

Ho can we learn from such irrestibale girls as they pieces by piece open upż.

Hi all,

So, a total newb question. I have been building up a friends list on FB and there are 2 girls in particular that I would like to confirm some time with. I'm 99.9% sure they will spend time with me for money. But I'm unsure how to broach the subject. Just come out with cost / activities? I've build some decent conversation and rapport but unsure how best to transition things.

Advice?

Advice?I ask "haces citas por dinero" perhaps a little less in your face than Mr E, but usually gets the message across. "Haces cita' alone was sometimes misconstrued so tweaked it. By no means am I a Spanish expert, jajaja so anyone with more skills can correct me, but that's what I have been going with. If she's prepago, you can be a lot more direct and to the point with what you want what you will pay and other details. I also ask them their age and if they have a cedula before getting more granular. There are some you don't want to talk that with.

http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/forum/showthread.php?583-Medellin-Reports&p=2366511#post2366511.

Her style is not normally attractive to me, but she carries it off with a certain flair. No, she is not a spinner, but she's fun, knows her way around a man's body, is a good communicator, doesn't play games, and has a great attitude. AND she's got a nice rack and a terrific head game. I'd sooner be in bed with her than a conventionally hot girl who is mechanical and unskilled.Damn, I just friended her to see what she looks like and she's definitely a 5 (average) at best. But, the fact that I've seen great reviews about her from several forum members makes me want to try her out LOL.

Loutron is a brothel or casa/MP.

The number varies.Loutron doesn't offer BBBJ right?

This is how I would get pay for play girls in Medellin if I were starting out now during my first trip here. I did not know anything about mongering in Medellin when I first landed here a over a year ago.

I came here to be with a girl, Catgirl, and we're still together, but that's a different story.

All my monitoring activities were just add-on's after I got here. Based on what I learned from personal experience and a lot of reading on here, this is how I would hit the ground running on a fresh start in Medellin now.

These are just personal suggestions. Use your own judgment, adapt your personality to what fits and works best for you. No results are promised and satisfaction is not guaranteed.

Obviously you need a guest friendly hotel, it can be close to El Centro or can be an easy taxi ride or Metro ride from El Centro, it doesn't really matter. People make a big deal about finding guest friendly hotels but honestly it's harder to find a hotel that is not guest friendly than one that is.

You want to be close to Ground Zero because that is where you will screen your girls initially.

Most the girls take taxis or Indriver or DiDi so you can stay in El Centro or close to El Centro such as in Avenida 70 - Laureles. Estadio which is only three metro stops from El Centro if you get off at San Antonio and walk to Ground Zero which is what I usually do.

I am suggesting that you can hunt or monger in Ground Zero during the day, find the girls you like, take them to a Love Motel a few steps away of Ground Zero as a test drive and then refer the ones who you like back to your hotel. Simple.

This does not require social media but I know a lot of guys are into that here, there is nothing wrong with that but what I described is a simple, short and direct way to have a really good time from the start. * A way you can hit the ground running and have a great time.

You don't have to waste a trip here getting to know things, and you don't have to spend weeks or months setting up contacts ahead of time although again I am not saying anything bad about those methods, but when I scan these posts I see mongers who might be overcomplicating things.

For the fellow mongers who say they cannot find good girls in El Centro, I don't know what they mean. The photos I've attached here include the latest girl and I did exactly what I described above. On any given day I get similar results.

Maybe she's not good enough for guys who don't like chicas with firm perky breasts, full ass, tiny waist, great hair, great smile, a tight cute pussy, clean, intelligent, pretty face, and best of all a personality that is a joy to be around and who doesn't have the word "no" in her vocabulary. * If that is the case* for you then ignore this post! Most definetely easy, like shooting fish in a barrel for Spanish speakers who aren't afraid of their own shadow.

However the language barrier, in that very few Colombian women in the trade speak English is daunting for the non-Spanish speaking newbies that have inundated Medellin over the past six months as evidenced by their posts.

This, in my opinion is the biggest problem for the newbies, besides being a bunch of imbeciles.

My point here is to give prospective visitors a little does of reality- many guys find Medellin to be fantastic but honestly speaking there are challenges that get glossed over. If you are looking for a point and shoot location that is set up specifically for you like most of south east Asia, this is not it. Like I said, even Brazil is more user friendly despite the language barrier there. I have yet to hear any refutations to the specific points I laid out.

I agree with many of your posts Osteoknot with the exception of hunting for girls in ground zero in el centro. Although this works for some it is not for everyone. If a newbie has build contacts I would recommend getting an arbnb or hotel in the laureles or poblado area. Take a day trip to el centro and see if that environment suits you. In either case it is best to book a few nights at the first place you are staying so you are not committed to staying there the entire trip. I made that mistake booking a place in el centro when I was a newbie. Then again , hotels or apartments are relatively cheap so it is not that big of a deal. Everyone is different. Medellin has something for everybody.

As far as casas or brothels go, Brazil is easier to get the service Zebra wants. BBBJ is 99% if not 100%. I think it is even easier than Thailand. I don't ask for anything and pretty much get everything I want now. Chat is not needed. LOL. I used to ask but other ISG member said he never asked so I followed his example. Was in MDE mid September, saw a lot of girls, too much my eyes could handle. I was with the wife and kids and could not do anything.

Some notes:

*) MDE was a safe place. Try to stay in the crowdy places. A lot of police everywhere.

*) Uber works not all the time, install other apps such as: BEAT, EASY TAXI, CABIFY. You will always get scammed by the random yellow cabby picked on the street.

*) Centro. A lot of activity from 1200 hour till 2000 hour. Plenty plenty of girls around. Be aware that after 2000 hour, this location becomes sketchy. A lot of drug users and weird people on the scene.

*) Parque Lleras was a kewl and very safe place. Just sit in one of the bars and watch the action. A lot is happening. I spoke with a few girls and they were all asking 200 COP. You take them to your place or a hotel. You pay the cab and the hotel.

I plan to go back next in December and wanted to know the following:

*) girls in Centro. How you can know they bring you safe to the hotel to finish the job and not set you up to get robbed?

The downside is the scene does not seem that large. It probably can quickly be overrun with the amount of newbies that are going to Medellin. This is absolutely true, most termas aren't really that big and there are only a handful of them. As far as freelance, you've basically got Mab's and Dolce Vita, which represents about 1/10 of the options of Llleras / Centro combined. There are a good amount of prives (casas).

One thing should be noted that although the scene is smaller, the number of gringo mongers is correspondingly small. As you say, if you took all the Medellin gringo mongers and dumped them in Copacabana it would be a nightmare. This is another reason I prefer Brazil.

Advice?I found a good way to transition to this without outright saying are you a working girl is to say something like "why don't you come to mine one night and we can have a drink, talk and relax together, obviously I can help you with anything you need". I'm more accustomed to approaching normal / semi pro girls though (on dating websites) rather than facebook. Some girls you can be very straight, I've been way more direct but prefer the more gentle approach, don't know why.

Horrible scene near ground zero this afternoon. Fir reasons no one could explain (I asked quite a few, including police) a Colombian guy tried to exit the Zona Rosa hotel through a fifth floor window and enter the building next door. He did not make it. He feel five stories and sustained only a minor leg injury. The really fucked up part is he fell on top of a 12 year old girl who was passing by below. The girl suffered horrific leg, wrist and arm injuries. She was treated on the scene and taken away in an ambulance. The walk job was carted off in the back of a police pick up. This happened only moments after I arrived at about 4 pm or so.

You can buy a sim card in any Tigo Claro store / kiosk. You don't even need an ID. Very easy to get.Nice to know, thank you very much for replying.

I have yet to hear any refutations to the specific points I made.Your points are valid. Medellin is not especially user friendly, and even much less so than Costa Rica. It's even quite spread out unless one is staying in Centro and concentrating on just the street.

It's also not a very GFE destination. Your typical puta wants to offer the bare bones experience, everything covered and limited if any normal foreplay like kissing. There's always exceptions to the rule, as you can glean some more friendly girls from FB, but this is hit and miss and requires work. Few in this venue work regularly.

The language barrier is also significant. Many locals seem to assume that all tourists are fluent in Spanish, and if they can manage to speak fast and loud enough that you'll eventually understand them. Jajaja.

I travel to Medellin only because as a Floridian it is close to me and much cheaper than Costa Rica. If the exchange rate ever reversed on us I'd rethink that decision. If I lived in Southern Cal I'd likely just run down to Tijuana. If I lived out west or even Canada I'd be looking much more to Asia.

I invested in a Dollar Store mirror for less than nine bucks. There were cheaper ones but this one was actually pretty nice without distortion and I'm going to hand it down to one of my novias when I leave on Wednesday.

The fotos are a small sample of the action you will get when a girl sees a mirror in your room including dancing with other girls. I did not ask any of these girls to pose for these shots, they did it on their own.

I claim they get moist and dewey inside from looking at themselves which puts them more in the mood, and improves their performance, jajajaja.

If you're just a wet mud hole fucker and this kind of stuff doesn't matter to you then forget about it which you probably have already done if you even read this far, jajajaja, perhaps I am delusional but I have this crazy idea that you can get a lot more bang for the buck, pun intended, with what should be a trivial amount of extra money for anybody who can afford to be here except maybe I do not have a good feel for the guys who are here on a shoestring budget. Keep On Keepin' On, Osteeeee Out!

You want to be close to Ground Zero because that is where you will screen your girls initially.Wrong.

The nicer the hotel the less guest friendly they are which others have posted a million times. That is the rule. Of course you can find the exception.

If you are a disco and late night bar drinker than Centro is not the place to be. El Poblado is. I want to end my night somewhat near my accommodation especially if I get drunk or find a girl.

Transportation does matter. In the daytime you can go from El Poblado to Centro casas and Botero easy taking bus, metro, or taxi. But if you go the other way then things change. I believe the metro stops running at 11:00 pm and the buses stop even earlier. So if your are staying in Centro but want to party late in El Poblado you can take any transportation there but returning you will have to take a taxi (or Uber, Didi, etc.). The little details matter. I would like to visit El Poblado more often but hate dealing with taxis, especially late at night and if is raining they try to scam you on price.

Wrong.

I have stayed at the nicest hotel in Laureles and it is guest friendly (Hotel Dorado la 70). I've also stayed at several others in Laureles that are a notch below.

(Hotel Egina, Hotel Asturias, Hotel Boliviarana.) all of which are guest friendly. Maybe you are talking about El Poblado places exclusively. But what Osteokot said is consistent with my experience in Laureles.

Where should I go once my six months tourist visa expires? Or is it possible to walk / bus across to Ecuador or Peru (without an exit stamp) and walk / bus back to Colombia and pretend I left months ago so I can stay longer than six months?None of that will work. First, how do you plan to get out of Colombia without an exit stamp? Even if you could, that works against you. Time runs from entry to exit. Also, entry and exit dates are stored in a computer, tied to your passport.

Where should I go once my six months tourist visa expires? Or is it possible to walk / bus across to Ecuador or Peru (without an exit stamp) and walk / bus back to Colombia and pretend I left months ago so I can stay longer than six months?Your entrance stamp is dated. If you leave without getting an exit stamp, they are going to look at your entrance stamp and realize you've already overstayed for 3 months. You only get 90 days on your entrance stamp. You need to either extend for an additional 90 days, or leave, with an exit stamp and re-enter to get another 90 days.

If you wish to stay longer than 6 months you will need some other type of visa. If you're not already fluent in Spanish, one way is to get a student visa. If you prepay for 3 months of classes you can get a 6 month student visa. Before you ask, yes you have to actually take the classes. 3 months of Spanish classes costs around 3 million pesos.

One thing I've always done when I'm hanging out in Parque Lleras is to walk down to Parque Poblado to catch a taxi. They are lined up in front of the park. I've had a few that I had to remind to reset the meter, and a few where the meter ran up quicker than normal, but mostly I've had good luck.

Another option for the disco and party people is to stay in Laureles. Plenty of clubs there.

So far my statement holds- like I previously said mongers fluent in Spanish will not experience the scene in the same way and although you, Balboa, and you Surfer500 will not register the scene as difficult- not only because of your language skills but also your extreme familiarity with the setting- others will have a vastly different experience.

I have yet to hear any refutations to the specific points I laid out.Knowing at least some of the local language goes a long way. Once I was able to try and communicate in Spanish I found everything got better.

As for the ease of the scene, it's going to vary depending on the individual. For the newbies, there's not much easier than staying at the Mansion. Even for an experienced monger, it's not a bad way to get started in Medellin. Admittedly, there are cheaper and better accommodations, but there are some benefits.

The casas do lack in the GFE department, but at 50 k for 30 minutes you can search for the good performers without spending much.

For the budget monger from the US, Medellin, or Bogota is hard to beat. It's much more accessible than southeast Asia and it's possible to get by for under $50 per day, including 1 or 2 girls.

However, everyplace has some drawbacks.

How do I find the Escort Agencies in Colombia? Can you point me in the right direction? I see you mentioned it in your post.

The girls voluntarily sign up for a website so you get all kinds there but yes, there are normal women on there.

As they say, you are paying for it one way or another. I am not sure what you mean. For some, there is women who qualify as prostitutes. Others would cuss you out for bringing it up. There are not going to be legal issues in Colombia like the US, so I do not get what the issue is with that. It is hard for me to say this on a monger board where all the guys think every chick just wants money, but there have been women on SA that I have met who do not like how they fell taking money for sex and have stopped doing it. I thought there was no or not as much of a stigma with prostitution in Colombia / South America, but there is.

All the women know is that this is a website that they can maybe make money and see what a guy's income and wealth is (or at least have some idea). For many women, it is a chance to meet foreigners / Americans.

For most guys, it is pay per meet. Paying for a GF abroad does not make sense to me though some guys could do it.

Many if not most the women on the site that I had met had never been on a date before nor even understood what an arrangement was. Others use it as an escort service. The best thing to do is to define what you want and the kind of woman you are looking and put it in your profile. You then send out messages to women who fit what you need..

Hey guys,

Just to repeat for the 1 millionth time on the forum, be careful in Centro. Walking through that area at night was always sketchy, but with the new gates there, the Plaza is even more devoid of people at night. I didn't know that and I tried to take a shortcut from the SW corner of the Plaza (around the end of Calle 52) to Ave De Greiff where the strip clubs like Conejitas are. Previously the path around the outside of the museum to De Greiff was de-populated at night with maybe only homeless and trannies walking around so I didn't like going around outside. That's why I typically take a diagonal path through the Plaza. I've done this many times so I thought I knew what to do. But I realized too late that apparently now both paths are pretty empty. About 200 ft in 2 guys rush in from behind me and demanded my phone with both holding knives. I normally look behind me every once in a while if I'm in a sketchy place, but it didn't occur to me they can mark you from somewhat far away and run at you before you notice. Anyways I wasn't going to fight that. I just put the phone on the ground and let them take it. Phone was old, so not a big financial loss. But if you're tense and the thieves are tense, obviously things can go very bad.

As another poster said, I think after 8 pm the risk / reward of going to either Santa Fe in Bogota or Centro in Medellin starts tilting towards more risk. To be sure, I still enjoy both areas, in fact picked up a pretty one next day around the south side of the Plaza at 2 pm, but no more late night outings there for sure. The girls there are rougher and more hardcore, more aggressive trannies, more homeless, more groups of guys hanging around for no apparent reason.

I live two hours from Tijuana and it's a shithole and don't bother with the place and used to be a regular there many years ago.

As far as Colombia not being a GFE destination, well your correct that for those with no Spanish speaking skills it can be a challenge to get this, for the Spanish speakers though it can be off the charts.

And everything covered and a bare bones experience, well this can be quite the contrary.

Just my personal opinions.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.Your Hotel will ask you for your passport and have them copy it and the immigration stamp page to walk around. Something I find out, at least at La Isla, you need your original passport if you want to use a credit card. All chicas seem to be independent, at least the one I encounter. You should be able to negotiate to take them to your room. At the strip clubs and casas, you can try to get a phone number for evening activities.

At the Hotel M club, there are many gringos that show up that do not stay at the Hotel. One night there were about 20+ girls at the club, and I was the only gringo there. They will go with you to your Hotel.

Ho can we learn from such irrestibale girls as they pieces by piece open up.That's why it's better not to repeat with the same girl. I know sometimes that's hard because some girls just make you feel so good. But falling in love and then even starting a relationship with one is really Russian Roulette. I live in a country where a lot of Colombian girls go to work and I actually know several guys who started relationships with some of these girls. Some seem to work out well. Another guy I know is less fortunate, he's still in the relationship after several years. He left his wife for her (her wife was his age, this girl is almost 20 years younger) and she's just taking all his money, little by little. She made him buy properties in her name and now she's taking his kids from him away too. They used to live in the same house, they're 18-20 years old and since she doesn't like them, she managed to force them out of the house. That's just sad. Another horror story I heard: So this guy took a colombian worker girl in his house and after some time, she asked him if her nephew from Colombia could come over since he got kicked out of his house. The guy agreed. So after some time he found them in his bed together. The 'nephew' was actually her boyfriend from Colombia!! Yeah funny but also sad cause it really happened.

The main thing here is a lot of times that such relationship is not equal. Especially if you're for example much older, or not so good looking as her. She knows that SHE is the catch. And that she can demand things and if you won't give them to her, you know that she'll be gone. And especially if you have given up things for her along the way, you're trapped into this negative spiral. So be very very careful!

Anyway if you still want to, you can at least do some simple quick tests to see if this is a girl to avoid: Leave some money in your room that she'll 100% notice and then give her all the opportunity to steal it. Some of these girls will! Actually, once it was more of an incident and I didn't leave the money on purpose, but this girl also seemed like a sweetheart, yet she stole money out of my wallet! Also is this girl doing drugs, think twice! And if she tells you she's falling in love with you, but still wants you to pay her, then you know enough too. Just some simple pointers. But I'd say, like others already said here: Run away!

ICU means it is touch and go. No one is sent there unless well, you know. Based on what I saw if she recovers she will never be the same. Given her age it is especially heartbreaking. Yes, the crowd did have a go at the guy before the police stepped in just as I was arriving.

I read about this on an FB page- but they said the girl was probably in ICU. Did you get the impression she was going to be alright?

None of that will work. First, how do you plan to get out of Colombia without an exit stamp? Even if you could, that works against you. Time runs from entry to exit. Also, entry and exit dates are stored in a computer, tied to your passport. You could catch one of the illegal buses that transport Venezuelans across the border. It's a very porous border apparently. Can go via Cucuta or near to Maracaibo.

You would leave without passing thru immigration. Then when you return you would have to deal with the "missing" entry and exit stamps at both Ven and Col immigrations. It is a very risky affair. Far easier to just leave the country then "lose" your passport, then enter on anoother.

For the second time. I got my Covid testing done at Cendriata Sede in La America barrio, less than a 10 mil COP taxi ride from the Dorado La 70 Hotel, or the next metro station from Estadio headed toward San Javier, named Floresta.

For some strange reason the taxi drivers and Uber drivers have a fairly hard time finding this place, even though it's a straight walk from the FloreIsta metro station.

Tell the drivers to search for this on their phones - "Cendriata Sede Medellin" and the address should pop up as Cra. 80 (same as Avenida 80), #44 B-91 in the La America Barrio.

There were some changes worth noting, they opened at 6:30* am Now instead of 6 am Like before. I was there early and first in line. By the time the door opened* the line was 5 people deep. By the time I was there for 10 minutes, there was 10 people waiting. Being first in line is a great advantage, I was in and out in 15 minutes. The people are nice and helpful and my 1/3 Spanish fluency got me through with no problem and the lab tech help me fill out the one form. You want to test that is done by nasal swab.

The cost was under $20 and they accept credit cards. The results were in my Inbox by the time I was back at my hotel.

I forwarded the email with the results to the lobby desk at my hotel and had them print two hard copies for me and I tipped them 5 mil COP.

This is I think a helpful reminder to be aware of our surroundings and not rely on assumptions and past experiences. Basically, day or night, it's a good idea to avoid isolated areas and use a "look ahead" posture to avoid walking into something. On a side note, the fence around the plaza makes it easier for police to patrol but once they are gone it makes it easier to bandidos to stalk their prey.

At night all the normal people leave, and its just you and the freaks.

BTW. If anyone is in Centro and wants a regular bar to have a few drinks at night, and also some dining options without having to brave the Freak Show, I recommend this place.

There are about 20 indoor restaurants and a couple of bars. Its very safe. 10 minutes walk from Botero. Or 2 minutes in a taxi at night.

The girls are like renting a car. You enjoy your time and then drop it off. You don't go buy new tires and wheels for it. You don't pay for a new paint job and you don't start to believe you can drive it forever. Even if you rent the same car 6 times, it's still a rental.

If you're looking to buy a car, you don't just rent one forever. And if you want a good and dependable one, you're better off not buying one that used to be a rental.

If you're looking for a woman to marry, you don't pick a prostitute. The potential problems outweigh any benefits.

Women tell me they love me every day, until they learn that I'm not giving them money.

A couple of comments to consider.

Just my personal opinions.I live in the west coast as well and prefer Colombians over Costa Ricans. Even though most Costa Rican chicas I've encountered were fluent in English, the service was lackluster compared to Colombians / Vennies.

But if you're tense and the thieves are tense, obviously things can go very bad..As Crocodile Dundee said it best "that ain't no knife, this is a knife" yes size matters both the size of the prey and the size of the weapon. You were a prime target on both accounts.

I have been in centro both in the daytime and the middle of the night close to probably a thousand times in the past 12 years had some close calls, just a couple, but when I show them what a real knife looks like they whimper away.

I have no idea where you came up with that.I dreamed it up reading so many other posts from other guys from several different cities in Colombia stating what I just did. She has to be dressed nicely and not slutty. When the receptionist at the nice hotel gives you a sideways look versus the smile at the lower end hotels you get a feel she looks down upon what is going to happen in your room. Also, some of the guest fees are over half the price of the one night stay in the room which means to discourage those kinds of visitors. I will not go track down all the posts that would support my statement so I guess you are right.

Far easier to just leave the country then "lose" your passport, then enter on anoother.Apparently the Ecuadorian border crossing does not automatically stamp your passport. You are dropped off across the border then have to walk a couple blocks backwards to get the exit stamp. The line can take anywhere from 30 minutes to more than 2 hours to get the exit stamp. So I am sure some people have gone without the stamp.

What about Spanish classes? What is the absolute cheapest, student visa-approved Spanish classes in Colombia? How much do they cost?

She is not taking anything that he is not giving and there is no way she could make him do anything. He has to take the responsibility for being the fool in this case. Of course! But the thing is that this girl started asking little by little, more and more. So when do you say 'enough', especially if you're in the hole already? This guy is deeply in love with her and he surely knows that if he now 'cuts his losses', she'll be gone with everything that he already has given her. So, just saying, it's not always that easy. Best is to avoid getting in the hole and not give her anything of course. And if she asks for anything unreasonable just tell here that that's now how things work. Maybe obvious to a lot of people, but it wasn't to this guy.

Well no shit. And while you are at it jump into a snake pit. Some of those snakes will actually bite you! This is surprising to whom? Next up: Testing to see if a gambler will cheat. Some people have no business involving themselves in street shit.My point was, some girls look like sweet teddybears while they indeed are snakes. Better to make sure ASAP what you're dealing with. Most of the times it's far from obvious.

How many guys come on here talking about buying phones to give away when they arrive somewhere? Chick in Dominican Republic tried to play me for a phone one time. I cammed her from the store and showed her the phone and how much it cost. She said fine. When I arrived she wanted to start some shit about paying me $15 per month. Bich you don't even get to look at the box until my money is in my hand. Needless to say, when I landed back in the states, I returned that phone to Brandsmart before I even went home. That is how you say enough. But I understand that many guys are afraid to lose out on the pussy or want to feel like a savior so they become creme puffs instead of men.

For the second time. I got my Covid testing done at Cendriata Sede in La America barrio ...

The cost was under $20 and they accept credit cards. The results were in my Inbox by the time I was back at my hotel. I have had the test done there four times. The staff has always been very good. The last time I was there, it was about 10:30 am on a Friday and there were no people waiting in line. There were three or four people waiting inside.

The price was different every time, from 50 mil to 90 mil. Two weeks ago, it was 70 mil.

I always use an app to get transportation to there. That way I can see the route and know the destination is correct.

Mercado de La Playa is a good spot. Punters on this site are probably familiar with the Mercado del Rio, a more upscale and closer to the Poblado Gringo Gulch version of it.

Speaking of the Gringo Gulch, I still haven't stopped laughing at the Dutch guy who thought it was a good idea to parade a camgirl / hooker / model dressed only in very skimpy lingerie through the Provenza strip. He pushed the self appointed mayor of Provenza when she ran up on him with her walkie talkie. She owns the Tasca Espanola and is extremely confrontational. This time I have to side with her because in addition to the outfit I described, the girl wore a dog collar around her neck that the Dutch punter used to lead her through the strip with a camera man recording the entire spectacle. The punter was wearing a suit and tie. The Mayor of Medellin as usual jumped on the bandwagon for political gain and issued a formal request that he be deported. You can't make this shit up.

Yep, Centro during the day is a mix of normal people and freaks. At night all the normal people leave, and its just you and the freaks.

BTW. If anyone is in Centro and wants a regular bar to have a few drinks at night, and also some dining options without having to brave the Freak Show, I recommend this place.

https://mercadodelaplaya.com/

There are about 20 indoor restaurants and a couple of bars. Its very safe. 10 minutes walk from Botero. Or 2 minutes in a taxi at night.

obviously the risk of running into one is way bigger if you start anything with a girl who sells her pussy for a quick buck.I can't say I agree with that (although the rest was fine). Qucik buck, slow buck, many women just want financial security and many people (men and women) are incredibly selfish.

How many guys come on here talking about buying phones to give away when they arrive somewhere? .I know a guy that travels 5 or 6 times per year. He packs cellphones and vibrators (and other stuff) every time. Says he gets it cheap from some online stores in the USA, and the gilrls love him for it. I bet they do, think he is Santa Claus haha. But I don't think its necessary, and I always wonder how the girls would have treated him if he hadn't started bringing phones. Probably exactly the same!

Just to be sure, I am not usually out that late at night, but if I am, the I will walk along side the buildings where you can only get attacked from one less side and be aware of the bushes and statures on the other side. The diagonal way you have mentioned is indeed dangerous, because there are too many hiding spots to attack from. What I have heard its where others have been mugged and robed.

Yea even the homeless people in that area are sketchy late at night if they are awake, want to know why? Because they are all high on glue, coke, or some other thing. All this makes for a bit more dangerous.

The bright side is that, late at night, I have seen police out patrolling, after midnight. Things have become much safer since I have been here, and lot more safer since the last time I was here. That is not to say that you should ever let your guard down.

That's why it's better not to repeat with the same girl. I know sometimes that's hard because some girls just make you feel so good. But falling in love and then even starting a relationship with one is really Russian Roulette.
Leave some money in your room that she'll 100% notice and then give her all the opportunity to steal it. Some backgroung here. The original poster is dealing with a girl who at least claims to be a non-pro. Which is different from dealing with a pro. It is way way more dangerous for someone who like you say may fall in love easily. Put it another way someone who "falls in love" easily is prey for the pretator if they start messing around with foreigners over the internet. It is different for them beause unlike myself and probably most long term BMs they are not jaded and / or wisened to what all these chicas are cabable of. They can be the sexiest and sweetest con artist around. Sweet sexy smiles and crocodile tears. They can be crazy enough to believe all their own lies and that's what makes them believable to others. "mi abuela necesita este medicamento o se va a morir" (My grandmother needs this medication or she is going to die). If the guy turns to butter. Then he will be toast.

I figure most of these woman must turn to dating websites with gringos on them because they want to improve their financial situation. That's why most guys report that Colombian girlfriends cost us more in the long run than straight pay-to-play. The poster says he told her that he did not have money but that he was going to starting work. She may (or may not) be playing a long con with him and figures he will pay down the road once she has his confidence. Not to mention she may be talking to 5 gringos a day so he is a back burner project for her. If they were simply looking for "love" , why would they leave their own front yard, why not just date locally? It would be a lot less complicated. So you must assume that money this is their motive and just how greedy they are and how dishonest is going to vary. (at least this is my jaded attitude? There are situations where a gringo hooks up with a Colombian and either moves there or brings her back to his country and it works out. I have heard of a few. A few. But even still he may never know if she really loves him or if she loves the security he provides and maybe it does not even matter in those situations.

There was a situation in Barranquilla where a man moved from the USA down to Colombia to start a new life with a Colombian women he had been having an online relationship with. I do not know all the details, like how many times he visited before pulling the trigger and then moving but he ended up buying a house with a first floor commercial unit where he could open up his restaurant. He ended up being murdured just outside his new home. Some people say he was murdured for his gold chain that he was wearing but there was also lots of specualtiong that this was just a cover becuase after his death the woman now owns the property. I do not know if anyone found out the truth.

Now when it comes to dealing with professionals you must assume that they would steal from you if given the oppurtunity. You do not suspect that they might, you assume that they will. That does not mean that you should not repeat. It means you keep your shit secure and your AO sewed up tight. Use a building that has security etc. In your situation where you offer to test them. You are not offering papaya. You are giving them the papaya (that is my rephrasing of what Mr E said) You can look up what "offering papaya" means to Colombian. Most chicas I deal with on a regular basis are smart enough not to steal some lousy money when they know they would blow it with repeating with me. Its not out of the honesty of their hearts but out of calculation. That is not say that one of them is capable of getting strung out on drugs and lose perspective. BMs have reported being robbed by chicas who they thought they could trust before. So it is always wiser to keep your shit secured.

What is the going rate for 1 or 2 hours with the FB chicas?I would never make a date with an FB chica for less than 2 hours because she is going to charge you the same rate for an hour as she is for two hours. FB chica prices can vary. They can be as low as 150 kcop and then for some of the chicas with a decent Fans Only following it can be rediculously high. They may not leave the house for less than 500 k Cop. That being said and understanding that what I am about to say can obviously be subjective: T
there are IMHO very beautiful women that you can get 2 hours for 200 kcop plus taxi. I guess aslo that YMMV - I have spend several hours with an average looking chica for 150k but maybe she jus didn't have anything else going on that day

This happened only moments after I arrived at about 4 pm or so.Damn, it looked to me like it was more like the second or third floor. He really did not look that bad off, he had a broken nose also, but he will surely be fucked up for the rest of his life, TRUST, I know.

The day before that I witnessed a kid about 16 years old throw a brick and an older guy on a bike, near the fountain. The brick hit him in the head. He was knocked out cold, and there was blood everywhere. Not sure if he survived or not. Strange thing was no one did anything cept me. I went up to the rock throwing kid and grabbed him. Moments later the police where on the scene and took over, I just melted into the crowd. Not sure if it was the Colombian thing to do or not, but I just could not stand by and let the kid get away with something like that. Never a dull day in Botera.

But even still he may never know if she really loves him or if she loves the security he provides and maybe it does not even matter in those situations.Simple as pie. Keep your money in your pocket and you know if someone wants you for money and security or your love and companionship. If she has a normal job and does not ask you for shit, then you have the answer. If she keeps begging for shit then you also have your answer. It is not hard to figure.

But keep in mind my post was not directed at you. Actually, something funny (and sad) happened just today. A guy I loosely know has been married to a damn sexy Colombian girl for a few years. I never asked but I always suspected very much that he met her as a working girl. The guy is just average looking, they separated about a few years ago, he left her a house and she left him for a much younger and very good looking guy (she's rich now)! Now you won't believe this, today I just found out that his current wife also just left him! I never had seen her or even seen a picture, but a friend of my, just today sent me a photo and daaaaamn super super hot chica with huge bolt-ONS, tattoos, just standard working girl. And she left him just recently for a (much) richer guy.

So, I mean sure, I totally believe you've seen it all, but there are really guys out there who haven't, get hussled and some even get hussled for a second time!

Hey folks,

I am coming to Medellin in about 10 days after staying in Bogota for 3 days. I have been reading through the forum and have a fair idea of where to go and what to do. However, a few questions for you:

1) What do the girls like to drink in Medellin? Tequila / Vodka / Whiskey / Cognac? I am planning to throw in a bottle or two in my checked baggage to share with the girls.

2) Is it better to get Colombian pesos in the US itself? I checked today and the rate they gave me was $1= COP 3388. I checked on the currency exchange websites and the rate was $1= COP 3775. Would you recommend that I bring all cash with me from the US itself or is it better to withdraw from the ATM's there? I bank with Chase, Bank of America & Citibank. I am sure they will charge fees for all transactions.

3) Is it safe to rent a car and drive in and around Medellin? I plan to take my girl and explore the nature at our own pace. We plan to drive to Guatape and Jardin.

4) I know Medellin is known for it's emeralds. Has anyone bought any emerald jewelry for their SO? Any places that you recommend to buy from in Medllin or Bogota?

5) How would you rate the quality of chica's in Park Lleras compared to the FB chica's? Which one would you say is of higher quality? I have been in contact with a few FB chicas who are eager to meet.

Appreciate your answers and suggestions!

You are not offering papaya. You are giving them the papaya (that is my rephrasing of what Mr E said) You can look up what "offering papaya" means to Colombian. No need to look things up, believe me, I have my fair share of experience also in Colombia (just not a regular poster here). Anyway I think you misunderstood. I'm not telling him to give any random girl papaya. Sure, most will take it. But if you're really really into a girl and believe she won't do it, then just test it. Might cost you a $100 buck but that's nothing compared to the possible damage later on.

Yes for sure, lots of gold diggers out there. But obviously the risk of running into one is way bigger if you start anything with a girl who sells her pussy for a quick buck.I was a big fan of Johnny Carson a few decades ago. One of his many memorable lines was "never fall in love with a hooker". I thought it was just a joke and didn't realize some guys actually mistake what is happening during the business transaction.

Some of these girls are just really good at heart. And if they end up with a client whom they could have been in a relationship with, if they had just met anywhere else (so most of the times that means equally good looking), it might work. I personally know some examples of that and they've been in a relationship for a long time and are still happy.

I'd sooner be in bed with her than a conventionally hot girl who is mechanical and unskilled.I spent 1/3 of my spending money on her LOL. Saw her 4 times spent 800 pesos, and had dinner twice. Its good to have someone you can hang out with in my 10 day trip. If she didn't catch so many bodies I would make her a regular.

What is the going rate for 1 or 2 hours with the FB chicas?FB chicas don't go by the hour. They come over to your apartment for a session. You can drink with them, dance with them, take them to the pool / jacuzzi and / or out to lunch / dinner. It's whatever you want to do and the FB chicas generally are quite agreeable. Best to clarify before they arrive what is your plan but rarely would they say no to what you want. They don't want to lose the deal.

Regarding prices the going rate is 150 to 200 mil for the session and 50 mil for their transportation to and from your apartment. The hotter and more in demand chicas expect 200 mil plus 50 for taxis so 250 total. There are maybe 3 chicas that think they are worth more than that but I don't session with them. I'd guess they do very few sessions if they expect more than 200 plus 50 taxis. Asking for more basically means they hate doing it so probably not a good session anyhow LOL.

Please DON'T pay the FB chicas more than 200 mil plus 50 mil taxis!

I agree totally with you. I tell them what I expect and most agree. I had one FB girl recently respond to me that she wanted 300 k for cada leche plus cab fare. I thanked her and wished her luck. She came back later and lowered the price to 250k for 2 leches plus cabs . I said sorry 250 is my max total. She again messages me that she is willing to go 250k including bareback. Says that she has a sick daughter and needs the money. I didn't bother as i can get much better looking girls for that price. The point is that the going rate is 150 to 200k for an FB girl. You need to tell them what you exoect.

FB chicas don't go by the hour.

Please DON'T pay the FB chicas more than 200 mil plus 50 mil taxis!.

Here's a simple rule:

The girls are like renting a car. You enjoy your time and then drop it off. You don't go buy new tires and wheels for it. You don't pay for a new paint job and you don't start to believe you can drive it forever. Even if you rent the same car 6 times, it's still a rental.

If you're looking to buy a car, you don't just rent one forever. And if you want a good and dependable one, you're better off not buying one that used to be a rental.

If you're looking for a woman to marry, you don't pick a prostitute. The potential problems outweigh any benefits.

Women tell me they love me every day, until they learn that I'm not giving them money.Best advice I have seen on here yet.

She was one of the horse statue girls I warned about in this post.

"PSA. Stay away from the Horse with no name statue in Botero Park".

She's working with the police not boyfriends or maybe her boyfriend is one of the police, I dunno.

Ain't the first time I got in trouble by not following my own advice, jajaja.

Just going by your post count I'm sure you've tons of more mongering experience than pretty much most of us here.

So, I mean sure, I totally believe you've seen it all, but there are really guys out there who haven't, get hussled and some even get hussled for a second time!LOL, the #1 rule is not to fall in love in this hobby.

I am sure they will charge fees for all transactions.1. Tequila, Rum and whiskey are popular. But it really varies from girl to girl.

2. This depends on the fees your bank charges. For many people the best exchange comes from using an ATM. However, with the charges some banks add on, currency exchange rates are better. A year or two ago, Bank of America had a good rate for buying pesos for their customers. Generally speaking the currency exchange rates at airports are terrible. However, in June the rates at the Bogota airport were very good.

3. That depends on you. If tight traffic stresses you out, then the answer is no. I rented a car in June and drove all over both Bogota and Medellin with no issues, but to me driving in traffic is relaxing.

4. Check elsewhere. If I remember correctly there is an area in Bogota where good deals can be found, but the information I found was about 7 years ago and I never looked for the area.

5. That's not easy to answer. There's quite a range in Parque Lleras and on Facebook. There are also pluses and minuses for each source.

Appreciate your answers and suggestions!1) Vodka, whiskey, rum, Bailey's.

2) Better to get money from an ATM in Colombia. Davivienda, BBVA, and Scotiabank Colpatria do not charge an ATM fee, but you must refuse the bank's conversion rate at Davivienda. Check with your banks to see what they charge. If it's less than 10%, you're ahead by using ATM's. Go to visa (https://usa.visa.com/support/consumer/travel-support/exchange-rate-calculator.html) to see what rate you will get at the ATM. If your bank charges too much, take USD and exchange at a cambio. Most are paying more than 3700/1 today.

3) It is safe, but you should be familiar with driving there. I suggest you use public transportation.

4) No idea.

5) Overall, FB is better. There are a few nice looking one's around Parque Lleras, but FB chicas usually have a better attitude. One plus for Lleras chicas is that you get to see them before making arrangements.

Simple as pie. Keep your money in your pocket and you know if someone wants you for money and security or your love and companionship. If she has a normal job and does not ask you for shit, then you have the answer. If she keeps begging for shit then you also have your answer. It is not hard to figure. This actually is the core of it. Indeed simple as pie, but I've seen enough men not realizing this (or probably not WANTING to realize it, some people like to lie to themselves to keep the fantasy alive).

This is how spoiled we are. Hotel M scheduled a nurse to come over and take a covid swap at the Hotel lobby. Me, being the lazy fu*k I'm, I ask them if she could come to my room. I had to go to the lobby.

Hey guys,

Just to repeat for the 1 millionth time on the forum, be careful in Centro. I just put the phone on the ground and let them take it.
.

I think Tass deserves to be thanked for writing what happened to him in el centro. The reality is el centro is dangerous for anyone. I know a few girls that have been robbed during the day, one was even robbed while in a taxi. I caution newbies especially because they don't know better and are only going by the recommendations here. If you decide to go be carefulI want to second IamLookin's motion and thank Tasss for reporting this.

True, I have posted something similar way back in this thread. Many of us will never admit to being robbed or taken advantage of. I think it important to mention all the schemes people come up with to take advantage of other people.

I just have to say, if you're really new at this, you really need to be very, very careful, read as much as possible, and talk to as many people as possible about the subject. Loosing a cheap phone or a few pesos is nothing, things could be alot worse.

Its also good to exact locations and details when something like this happens, so others can learn from this unfortunate incident.

My bank is US local bank that charged $1 for each withdrawal and BBVA charged "no" fee. I think instead carrying lots of US dollars, I would recommend to withdraw from ATM as needed if the fee is lower. If you have PNC bank account, ATM is free with BBVA bank.

You may recall my computer is still broken, and I'm using an old Samsung pre-Galaxy phone to post everything for the past month or so. Then, after the recent internet crash my phone has a glitch whether I type or use voice to text, it's a total PITA to post anything. That is why my posts have sounded so wonky lately and I've mentioned it several times. After having to retype the same sentence retype 5 or 6 times after a while I just have to give up. Plus, sometimes I'm stoned out of my mind but I think that is some of my best work when I read back, jaja.

As a PSA I wanted to get the word out rapidly before anybody else fell prey to Mini Vennie.

At this moment my voice dictation is working pretty good.

There were four cops in my hotel room pointing their guns at me initially while telling me that I would be going away to prison for a long time, for infantile porn in my phone and for having an underage girl in my room, who they dragged back in as part of the act, even though none of it was true. They are using a 19 year old girl for the sting and all the photos in my phone are of adults.

I managed to flush all my Tussy after they found it and while the cops were still in the room at the same time. If I do say so myself that took some steel Kahuna's but they were more interested in extorting several million pesos from me than anything else. More to come but hopefully that's enough to convince you to stay away from her.

Feel free to take your pot shots on how stupid I was or that I got what I deserved, I don't pay much attention to feedback like that but if it makes you feel better, go for it. And I don't directly respond to any posts here mainly because it was taking too much time away from my fucking and getting sucked. I am thrilled with how things turned out and I'm in a great mood about flying out of here tomorrow so I can get my Affairs in order back in the States and get back here as soon as possible. You got to keep on keepin' on! What else can you do?

Both are good location. The 2nd one is San Peter Apartment right off 70 street (Setenta), where the locals go for drinks / food / entertainment. Some people says depend on the room you get, you might be facing the street and a bit hard to sleep. Search this forum for more info. If you don't mind the noise, the 2nd location is better because it is central to Laureles, close to ATMs, drugstores, liquor store, chica stores, Exito market, and also cheaper. You might also meet your fellow ISG or gringos staying at San Peter.

For the price listed, I don't think it is one with noise blocking windows. Thus, it is not quiet. It is less than a half block from La 70 (the party, noisy street). The first one is in a quiet area. It is a taxi ride from La 70 at night. Between the two, I would go with the first one. Both have a security desk.

Thanks. My suggestion is to get a Schwab debit card, and withdraw $. Don't accept the bank's rate when asked. There is no withdrawal fee with this card.

If you want to exchange money, it is bit troublesome. They ask for passport, and then give you a bad rate. It also takes a long time as compared to getting money from ATM. You can even get money at airport ATM. It's so much easier using this card. I have exchanged money in Colombia before, and it's a big hassle.

Not a direct charge.

Banks will often say. Oh, we have no fees. But the exchange rate they give you is less than the quoted exchange rates, which are the mid-market rates. In Canada the banks have to disclose what this difference is, and depending on which bank is 2. 5 or 3. 5 percent. In the USA I'm not sure they are required to disclose that so, if not, you could look up the rate you got and compare it by looking up the actual rate for that day (or the day before, some banks use the rate from the previous day).

As for exchanging actual cash, yes, there are exchange places all over, especially in Poblado, with several in Santa Fe mall especially.

On the topic of ATMs it's weird how different ATMs from the same bank will treat you differently. I only use BancoColombia ATMs out of habit and knowing I've been treated fairly over several years. Like full exchange rate fairly! So I still use them. But some of their machines will not give cash unless you accept an unfair exchange rate. I always decline it of course and they will end the transaction there. Other BancoColombia ATMs will offer a second option of cash withdrawal without the unfair exchange rate. And still other ATMs will just give the fair exchange rate without even asking if you want to be shafted with the unfair exchange rate. Monday night there were many people out until 10:00 pm. Tuesday night the amount of people were half the night before. About 9:30 I went to the side of the church headed to the bar area behind the church to where there normally is an empanda stand but not tonight. At the corner where the yellow restaurant is I stopped to chat a girl I had been with a few times. Three guys were standing together nearby but as soon as I got there they separated and spaced themselves out around the corner and thus around me and surely looking down the street for police. So I quickly crossed the street. Soon a motorcycle cop turned to go down the walkway leading to the church so I followed him back. Pretty damn positive something was about to happen. Things are changing again in Botero. Be careful. When the police leave you leave.

One my walk back to my hotel I watched a guy pull out a knife on another guy under the metro. Nothing happened but still messes with ones peace of mind. I like how cheap it is here but could never retire here. Can never let your guard down. That sucks! NO peace of mind.

However the majority of Colombians bank with them because their omnipresent within the Country, and do have a good platform for paying people and easily transferring funds between parties with their App.

And when it comes to a favorable exchange rate when using their ATM's, well besides all the gimmicks and stuff they try to pull, they've never ever offered a good exchange rate, albeit there are others that are even worse.

Insiders tip, Scotia is your best bet irrespective of fees charged by your bank for using your card if at all.

If I do say so myself that took some steel Kahuna's but they were more interested in extorting several million pesos from me than anything else. More to come but hopefully that's enough to convince you to stay away from her.Hopefully your next post is not going to be from your jail cell. I guess you can't make this stuff up unless your a good fiction writer.

Waiting for the next chapter of your saga.

Bancolombia doesn't treat anyone fairly and has all knids of fees they charge their customers that bank with them not unlike Bank of America and Wells Fargo in the USA.

Insiders tip, Scotia is your best bet irrespective of fees charged by your bank for using your card if at all.I second that, I tried all the ATMs in Cartagena using a chase card,. Scotia was by far the best, but the inly ATM there was unreliable, bancolombia ended up same as if I had cash and went to a street cashier.

Any one tried a Citi card using Citibank ATMs? They should use visa conversion and no fees, but haven't tried yet.

......There were four cops in my hotel room pointing their guns at me initially while telling me that I would be going away to prison for a long time, for infantile porn in my phone and for having an underage girl in my room, who they dragged back in as part of the act, even though none of it was true. They are using a 19 year old girl for the sting and all the photos in my phone are of adults.....This is the first such case I have read of. If all you have stated on the matter is the case then this is extremely worrying. What happened when you were in the room with the girl? The pictures you shared earlier are not your usual type of photos.

When I was working with webcam models I always needed 3 pictures of the girls' cedulas, only 2 for Vennies (Venezuelan cedula has the birthday on the front). One of each side and 1 of the girl holding the cedula next to her face. All the webcam sites require this for verification.

Whenever I did a photo or video shoot for a girl everything went into a folder with the girl's name along with the cedula photos. I don't normally take a lot of photos of the girls I'm with, but for those who do, you might consider a system like this, not only for organization, but to keep proof of age, if you've ever got police going through your phone and computer.

One thing about checking cedulas everyone should be aware of. There are fake cedulas out there. Some girls use stolen cedulas, while others borrow a cedula from an older sister or cousin. While the cedula may get the girl into your room it's not a failsafe proof of age. If she looks too young, it's best to pass her by.

I've often seen girls on Facebook asking who has a cedula they can borrow. One girl, who wanted to do webcam, but wasn't 18 yet said for 50 k she could get someone to make her a cedula.

Something I always look for with Facebook girls; birthday pictures. Often they will have photos of their birthday with balloons showing their age. I consider that more dependable than a cedula.

They allow 2,000,000 each hit (most machines), no withdrawal fees rfom the Colombian bank. That also saves on fees at your end too. Just decline the conversion bcos no doubt your bank will give you a better rate when they get the transaction posted.

I normally just go to whatever closest available to me, a lot of time Bancolombia. What are the best ATM to use for the best conversion rate?My experience is that Bancolombia gives the full XE rate if you find their machines that don't ask you to accept a conversion rate (which will rip you off). Looking at my last statement I made many pulls of 600 mil pesos (the ATM max) the last week of September and paid as low as $156.05 and as high as $156.42. So the conversion rate ranged from 3845 at best to 3836 at worst which is right at where XE.com showed the official rate those days. I should mention my bank pays all ATM fees so maybe that's why I'm able to get the full exchange rate from Bancolombia's ATMs.

So the exchange rate does not depend on which bank you withdraw money from. That is true for Canadian banks, the big 5. Not sure about US banks. Some of the Canadian banks charge 2. 5%, others 3. 5%. So for me it doesn't matter which Colombian bank I withdraw from. I try to get one with no ATM fee (Scotia / Colpatria) and one that will give me the greatest amount to minimize the impact of the $5 foreign cash withdrawal fee (again, all the Canadian banks have at least a $5 fee for this).

I'm in the same boat as Lucky Nuts, my bank will refund all the fees. So, I always withdraw whatever I need. I only care about the best XE rate.I've written about this before. You will not be getting the XE rate. That just isn't how it works. The XE rate is a market transaction rate. It is going up and down throughout the day. What you get (assuming you decline the Bank's Conversion rate. Which is a total rip off) is the Visa interbank rate. This rate is set every night at about midnight EST. It reflects what is happening in the currency exchange markets (I. E. The XE rate).

So if you se the XE rate climbing during the day. Wait and get your money tomorrow because Visa will likely raise their inter-bank rate. If you see the XE rate declining during the day and you need money, get it today because most likely the Visa rate that you get from your Colombian bank will be less tomorrow.

On Friday night the rate is set for the weekend (meaning Saturday, Sunday and Monday). Why Monday? Because Sunday at midnight there were no transactions on Sunday with which Visa would modify their rate.

You can search for Visa Exchange Rate. Put in any amount (it really doesn't matter) and put in a 0% bank fee. Then put in United States as the card issuing country (unless your bank is from another country) and put in Colombia and you will get the Visa Rate for the day. Compare that to how much it cost you when you do a withdrawal and you will find that it matches exactly.

All the banks I know do the exchange at your home bank. So the exchange rate does not depend on which bank you withdraw money from. That is true for Canadian banks, the big 5. Not sure about US banks. I don't know anything about the Canadian banking system, but I doubt it is different from almost every other country. If the ATM has a Visa or Mastercard emblem on it, the transaction goes through a clearing house which determines the exchange rate. If you look at the Visa foreign exchange rate, that will be real close to the exchange rate you will get at Visa affiliated ATM's. Some banks charge a clearing house fee, which will cause your rate to be a little lower. You will not get the XE rate. The visa rate lags the XE rate by two days. That works well for users of ATM's because you can foresee fluctuations. If the dollar has a big fall in value, you have two days to get the higher rate at an ATM. For example, today's XE rate for COP/USD is 3740/1 and the Visa rate is 3765/1. The XE rate during the day Monday was 3767. If you withdrew money today, you should have gotten close to 3765. Of course, if your bank charges a fee, the final rate you receive will be less. The OP is correct that the exchange rate is not determined by the ATM bank.

After 3 weeks in Cucuta I decided to fly to Punta Cana DR with "Wingo" from Medellin so to get to Medellin I took a direct flight with Viva AIR. At Medellin airport, The 13 k BUS took me to centro and from there I took a UBER to https://goo.gl/maps/fZv5BkfQ9qfGuRmZ9 but this area is not for me and all hotels there are look like a dog houses to me.

So after the first night I took a UBER to https://g.page/hotelsanpedrodelfuerte?share and book a suit with Agoda, its a 3 room apartment for 140 K. I like the apartment but wrote a negative review on google map because the reception girl told me I need to pay 50 K for a visitor. After 2 hours the owner came to me crying that I hurt the hotel reputation so I told him why you want money for a visitor? Sory I need to pay tax for each of them he keep crying the hotel is for your service please delete this negative review. OK I felt sorry and delete it.

Now what? Mongering time I went to https://goo.gl/maps/6NPR9sLxcLNtDBHt9 which is next to my hotel and stop to eat a fish around the corner for 15 k https://goo.gl/maps/Yw5D3AmURwX6eFQF6 then went to the casa which is extremely east to find. During the presentation the reception girl told me that the price vary according to time from 60 K to 100 K. Anyway I saw a sex bomb and took her immodestly the room was real room with big bed not what you find in Bogota. Everything super clean and nice. Girls perform 10/10 but no photo allows. I will submit a bad report on google map LOL So gave her 20 K tip and really enjoy this Venezuelan porn star.

Now what? I decide to move again and booked 40 used Airbnb in "Parque de El Poblado" but not before I email the owner which promise me that his apartment is 100% visitor free fee.

Lets see.

It makes sense. Part of the difference is that Canada had it's own debit card system. Interac - that may have handled clearing a bit differently, but most banks now are going to visa or mastercard for international transactions. I think it claims to be 2. 5% for transactions to Canadian dollar accounts. And either way there was a lag. Good to know about the 2 days. I'll watch for that.

When I checked the cost of taking out Colombian currency at home it worked out to around 5 or 6% cost, so I still think ATM withdrawals are the way to go. And taking Canadian dollars almost anywhere (except Cuba) is not an option as even banks will balk at exchanging it. And taking American dollars means a double hit on exchange fees. So that's not an option.

Given that you're a tourist and not familiar with what a real cedula looks like, surely equity would dictate that you could not be found guilty under these circumstances? . Hypothetically. In an ideal world that would be correct. Unfortunately, because of the way the Colombian legal system works none of that matters.

If the police decide to arrest you, a determination is made on whether they have sufficient cause to charge you. If they decide the answer is yes you go to prison. You stay in prison until they decide they are ready to send you to trial. There is no time limit. You could be there for years before they make a decision.

That's what happened to the last high profile gringo to get arrested for that crime. He was never tried. After less than a year in prison he committed suicide.

You can retire in Medellin just stay away from the Botero area. Medellin and some of the surrounding areas are relatively safe. If you hang out in el centro which is the arm pit of Medellin what do you expect?

There is also Koho but you need to pay a monthly fee to get no foreign fees (but there is a one month free trial). I'm yet to use the Stack card so can't comment on it's conversion rate or ease of use. But the customer service has so far been quick to answer any queries.

There is now. If you want to get US dollars without getting tagged for the exchange fee. You can use the Norbert gambit if you have a stock trading platform and a US dollar account. Just buy a dual traded stock on the TSX. Transfer it to your US trading account and it will be converted at todays exchange. Cash it into your US dollar account and save the 2 percent exchange fee- saves about 180 on $10 k. Really not worth doing unless you are exchanging a lot of money.

I dipped my toe in the water at a couple of spas when I had pockets of free time.

Nothing breaking new ground, just want to report back into the forum. Hit Om Spa. Massage was fair with he. Oral finsih was also offered, but declined.

Also hit DoSpa. Massage was better than Om. HJ, oral, and FS were offered. I was worked up from the massage so opted for FS. Masseuse was attractive. Enhanced top, bottom was natural and fat. Tight body, nice skin, decent service that concluded with a shoulder massage. I'd repeat out of convenience, but would spend less time on the massage. I'll check out aspects of the scene as time permits.

Also, thanks to those who offered contacts of service providers via my DM. I'll report back if I session.

P.S. I used a BBVA ATM and was only able to get 300 K out. I'll use one of the other banks previously posted next time.

Police called to Botero Real.Update and corrections to the guy calling the police on the girl.

Nobody knows what happened in the room. Case of she said he said. Small probability that the guy liked it rough or kinky and that the girl did not want. Higher probability was a communication issue. Highest probability would be she shorted the service time or functions agreed to. I had her twice with no problems but I am pretty vanilla.

They have an argument in front of the office where she loses face and is embarrassed. I was there. He threatened to call the police but still paid her 50,000. They leave.

Board member tells me she went to him to explain what happened. Guess she was not satisfied and turned her lose of face to anger because SHE then walked over to the police. She got the police involved. Claimed the guy with the cane did not pay her. Went back to the hotel and the receptionist verified that she was paid so she did not get the extra 50,000 that she wanted.

Hate to see all that happen to both of them. It was a lose-lose for everyone.

Instead of leaving a bad review, leave an accurate review. If everything about the place is nice, and the only problem is they charge a fee for each guest, it's not a bad place, it just doesn't meet your needs. This is much more helpful for others.

If you're being fair, you should have verified the guest policy before booking.

You will probably find that most casas won't allow photos.

Leaving a bad review doesn't help anyone unless it's just a completely terrible place. Be specific with the things that need improvement. This gives the owner incentive to make improvements, and informs others what to expect. What may be a problem for you, might be what someone else is looking for.

I made it through Gate 60 in MIA always an interesting spot it's really 10 mini gates combined into one gate anybody who goes thru there knows what I'm talking about.

I arrived in Medellin July 24th, returned yesterday. I have 10 days left on this year's tourist visa made abundantly clear to me by the emigration official in the Medellin airport as I was leaving.

Anyone with a cursory understanding of the limits on tourist visas knows that means I'm about to have one full year of boots-on-the-ground in Medellin after my next return planned for Christmas Day. But hopefully for me that won't matter because by then I should have an immigration visa and not a tourist visa.

I took my laptop and a tablet in today to the computer shop to be repaired. My voice dictation seems to be working pretty good now but I'm going to wait till I get my laptop back before I post the details about about that police sting that I got trapped in and the girl about whom believe it or not I still want to see yeah I'm crazy like that.

I completely understand why certain people would have a hard time understanding or believing what I've been through especially the more mundane minds among you. I would have a hard time believing it myself except it happening to me, I am living it, and it's been like this my entire life. I always have been living life on the edge well not exactly, I jump off the edge over the cliff, scramble back up to the top stake my claim, draw a line, and dare everybody else to cross it. [Deleted by Admin]

And I'm only reporting the mountain tops. If I showed or told you what was really going on in detail of my life pretty much no one would believe me except my acquaintances and friends who have met me and there's no doubt with them about my veracity.

Also, I always say consider your source.

At my current rate I will have fucked way more regular girls in my life by dating than I have by mongering for pay-for-play. I choose this over the girls in the United States because the sex culture is so fucked up here and why spend a hundred or $200 or more on a date that you might get laid when you can go to Medellin and get automatically laid and the girls are more friendly and open. So that actually makes other guys here who don't for whatever reason have a lot of non pay-for-play experience a better source of information because I'm blending and using crossover information from when I used to date regular girls all the time and that was the only way I got sex. I still do that by the way I love the challenge and the chase but basically my lifestyle now for fucking is based on P4P because of the convenience, culture, and value.

Whenever you lock up a house for 3 months or so nothing's the way you think it's going to be when you come back. For some strange reason I have a mildew attack in my master bedroom even though I set the thermostat at 82 degrees. This is going to take some time to sterilize the area. For example that one photo is of a $1,500 custom Adidas tracksuit leather Adidas tracksuit and it was just sitting out and you can see what the mold did to it. My mattress and linens are ruined. My three vehicles all started up and turned like kittens and includes two antique sports car so that's not that has not always been the case and I'm happy about that. I keep them all on battery tenders while I'm gone and I'm a strong believer in that. All right let me go deal with some mold and I'll be back in touch when I get my computer back tomorrow or the next day. Ostee Out!

I got a message from Claro saying that if I don't register my phone, it'll be blocked. Sure, I know this. Same thing would happen on Tigo and I did get blocked before by Tigo. But before I can register with my US passport, but now neither the *611# (star 611 pound) USSD method, nor the Mi Claro app would accept my passport. Going to a Claro store and waiting for an hour didn't help either. The only documents accepted, according to the guy at Claro, are local and foreigner cedulas. Assuming no Colombiano is going to give you their cedula to use, what can you do? Sure if you leave Colombia before 30 days you won't have an issue, until you come back with the same phone.

I had an instance where a girl demanded more money from me not because of anything I did, but because she thought she could extort the money from me threatening to call the police. So I turned tha tables on her, told her I will tell the Police that she robbed me, and that I would pay her what we agreed to but not inside the room but in reception and she finally agreed. How often does this happen? I've never ran into this issue, but I don't partake in el centro chicas.

A friend of mine bought a phone in Medellin and the shop registered it for him somehow and he was in Medellin for 60 days.

So you might go to a phone shop and ask for assistance, they may have some way to help you, especially if you grease the skids with some Plata.

And stay away from Tigo as a carrier, they don't seem to have many offices.

Granted it has been a while since I have been in Colombia but yes my Canadian bank card worked in the ATMs of the larger banks and at that time there was no exchange fee. Really not worth doing unless you are exchanging a lot of money.LOL. Yep, I've thought of using that. Coincidence that it's called the Norbert gambit?

I am almost set up to do that. Have all the accounts set up except the US cash account within my brokerage accounts. Could set up a sweep account for my US trading account, and then transfer it out to a US dollar bank account hopefully.

Thanks for the description of this.

Perhaps not surprisingly it's relatively easy for me to post photos on my phone compared to a lot of verbiage. Here you go sorry if there's a couple of repeats in there I just aimed for the good ones.

The one photo of the girl airing out her pussy after I fucked her good at love motel in El Centro, she was probably my best new find out of the nine or so times I went to El Centro this trip, they were all good but she's a keeper.

The close up of the lips are on a face that was a six, but her body was a 9 all day, I told her I'm paying for your lips and the blowjob was as good as those lips looked, too. She could easily get me to blow a load with a condom during her BJ, if you see those lips in El Centro go for it and her prices are good and her body is awesome but don't turn your back on your stuff while she's in the room.

Thanks to all the contributors in the Medellin section and World Travel 69 (I'll refer to as WT 69). I came well prepared and am now giving back.

August 27th. Friday.

Flew out of Tijuana on Aeromexico and arrived in Medellin around midnight. About 8 hours of flying time with a 2 hour layover in Mexico City. I arrived at the Nutibara hotel around 1:30 AM paying 80 k pesos for a taxi.

Nutibara is an older hotel, historic in it's day, on one end of Plaza Botero in El Centro, (the downtown area). It's fairly basic and staff did not speak English, but it is in a good location for some tourist attractions and for street girls as well as many daytime casas.

Based on reports in this forum, I had some concerns about safety before coming. By day, I would say that the El Centro area is mostly safe and swarming with large numbers of locals. Plenty of people out and about even past night fall for a few hours. Still, in and around El Centro, there are many sketchy looking streets with homeless and trash and although I never witnessed any crime, I had taxi drivers warn me of the petty crime and to keep phones and valuables hidden from sight.

August 28th. Saturday. One of the best report, thank you.

You don't have to go to a store at all. You can register on the Claro website or on the phone itself via the miclaro web site. Any nine digit passport number will work.

I hit three of the bars with chicas en el centro recently, my first time back to this raw gritty bar scene in a few years. I was lured by stories of hot young Venezuluelenas. And indeed the stories are true. I found one chica quite special and even returned a few days later to session with her a second time. I checked out Conejitas, Grille Nueva, and Barra Ejecutiva each a couple times but only ever found flacas at Grille Nueva. I saw three flacas there I could have sessioned. But the prize is 20 year old Valentina with the face of a magazine cover girl. She wouldn't kiss on our first meeting but promised she would the next time so I returned. It was worth it! GFE kissing yeah! "I think she likes me" LOL.

But her FB photos show her having a kid, and she had baby damage so I guess not. She's maybe close to 40. If she's younger she didn't age well at all, either due to drugs or some other reason. 2 minutes in and she's like are you done? That was my signal to end it there. Made an excuse to stop and paid her to basically leave. Her attitude makes me think she'll cause problems if she was paid less than the full amount we agreed to. She was also messy, left my apartment with a big glob of shampoo on the shower floor and pee unflushed. Sample FB profile pics attached in case she gets a new profile.

My voice dictation seems to be working pretty good now but I'm going to wait till I get my laptop back before I post the details about about that police sting that I got trapped in and the girl about whom believe it or not I still want to see yeah I'm crazy like that.If a woman says she was raped then all the other women believe her just because they are women too. Now here we have a guy saying he was set-up by a girl who brought police and we are supposed to believe him because we are guys also. Nope.

I have been with 5 girls in that group 2-3 times each in the last 3+ months. They are the best group of girls out there. Pretty close group. Never had a problem. So I told one of the girls that I heard a rumor (no website mentioned) that her friend set up a foreigner using the police. Her reactions was she had no idea what I was referring to and asked me which one of her friends.

Later that day her friend appears and I inform her of the same thing. Using a translator she said something to the effect that you were renting an apartment (AirBnB) and that she is 19 but looks young so the owners of the apartment called the police.

Based on your bravado writing style and they way you are dragging this out like a soap opera I find her simple version more believable than the long soap opera I am sure you are going to tell. Hard for her to expect a successful underage scam when she is 19 with a child. Plus, you are so good to the girls and such a lady's man that no girl would ever do this to you. Right? In addition, I can not remember ever reading about anyone else ever having the underage scam done to them on this site.

Strange how you tell people to avoid her but your pictures are nearly useless.

Why did I post? I think both sides should be heard.

Hello,

I been to many places. (Brazil, Thailand, southeast Asia, Mexico).

I will be spending an afternoon in Medellin, and wanted to ask for any advice.

I want to try 2-3 girls (but really A-class). What would be the best plan?

Go to a motel and call? I like to be in my own space.

What the average price nowadays? Thank you.

I also will go to Cartagena right after, and if you want to give tips, it would be helpful.

Top 5% horrible girl I ever had.

I rolled the dice and knew I had a 70-80% chance of a dud but wanted a new girl and it was getting late after a rainy day.

Behind the church on the corner is the yellow restaurant and across the street from that on the corner is the short time hotel with the prison bars. There is a light brown blondish haired girl at the bottom of the stairs. Pretty face and smile, fake boobs, age around 25, usually on her phone. She wears a fish net tube top so you can see her tits and always wears pants (because she has to). She wanted 50,000 and I walked away. After a week I tried again and she went for 40,000. We went the hotel next door. I refuse to use the prison bar hotel.

She did not smile the whole time. Wanted money up front which I knew. She demanded that she be the one to put the condom on which she did not roll on but stuck both her index and middle fingers into a square with her nails (idiot). When she took off her pants I cringed. Her lower back had some faded ugly round scars about 2 centimeters. But her ass and legs were covered in these 2-3 centimeter round scars that were darker. These are not pigment spots but scars. I almost walked out. Scary looking. Because of all of this it took me longer to cum so I promised 10,000 tip because I hate not finishing. Go to pay her and she sees the rest of the cash (less than 40,000) and she demands 20,000. I say no.

Simply horrible. If you see her and not sure if she is the one or not then just look at her lower back. So bad I had to warn you guys.

I just posted about this chica with a six face who had a 9 body, all day long. I don't actually believe in assigning numbers but it gets us in the ballpark and I think a few mongers might even agree with me this is a 9 body.

Her sister is a super cute tranny in El Centro. Mini-pearl, trannies always have the best Intel and I'm friends with a few of them down there in El Centro. When I chat them up they always point me in the right direction like the one who told me about her sister who gave great blowjobs, the same girl in these fotos. They also know where the dangers are.

I was with this girl a few times. Our last session the day before I left when I told her that I was leaving the country she got fidgety for a minute and then suddenly lunged at me and gave me a full-body hug with her arms and legs, and told me she really liked me and she would miss me. Why do I bother to mention it? You can say she was going to miss my wallet but I was paying her fair market value and she's got no trouble finding dates.

I treat all the girls the same whether an El Centro putas or a doctor, with fun and respect. That doesn't mean I trust them all the same and I already told you the girl in these photos I would not turn my back on her in my room for one second. She tried to rip me off one time but I caught her and we laughed and she still a good fuck. I tend to trust people may be a little too much until they prove me otherwise but if you treat these girls with respect you get back a lot of affection and improved performance. Wet mudhole fuckers need not apply, and they are not interested anyway so everyone's happy.

And in those rare occasions I immediately terminate the session and pay what I agreed to and nothing less and just say I'm not feeling well and thank you very much. And sounds like when other guys have witnessed what you described they don't want to pay up, hence she demands the money upfront.

I know you have experience in Centro, but I always tell the new ones, that I pay afterwards before going upstairs with them. This is probably the biggest sign of a bad session in the works when you take a new Chica upstairs who demands to be paid upfront.

And your not alone in this, many years ago when in the Santa Fe area of Bogota I went with a Chica who demanded the money upfront. And I paid, and everything was cool until I changed positions and my condom was covered with blood. And I asked what's up with this, and she said oh it's normal to work when she's menstruating. Not much I could do, so I terminated the session and walked out, as I wasn't going to try to nut in a red tide although I was covered up.

Moral of the story, never ever pay upfront.

But my friend, you choose to believe a streetwalker instead of a member of this board who has nothing to lose be reporting his incident. In fact, it was a great gesture on his part because he admits it makes him look a little foolish.

Well let me weigh in. I've met Ostee. One afternoon he told me he was going to El Centro and I went with him. We did a circuit around the church and we saw the two girls standing next to a Botero statue beckoning us to come over. The cuter little one definitely did not look 18. We both talked to her for a minute but there wasn't any way we were going with her. She claimed to have a cedula. Whatever, we walked away. Later the next day Ostee told me he had been with a different Vene and they went to see this girl and the Vene told Ostee that her ID was 100% legit. Ostee later reported he took her to a room and they had a great romp.

So, one evening Ostee messages me that he needs to talk to someone. He was white as a sheet and very agitated when he came to my room. He told me the story of what happened. It was shocking. My best take was that this little girl was either a girlfriend of the lead cop or a relative or connected somehow. Otherwise how would the cops know where he was staying?

The girl's story you heard was clearly wrong. He was staying in a very high-end hotel not an Air BnB. I know this because I was staying in the same hotel. The reception didn't call the cops that isn't remotely possible. The reception at the hotel takes the girl's cedula and enters it into their system for verification. They check the picture against the girl. If they had doubts they simply wouldn't let her in. It's happened before. Not to me. But to other visitors I've talked to. So, while you may find the story implausible I know his story is truthful and your report of the girl's statements is riddled with errors and lies. Oh there was some truth to what she said. I understand she was 19 with a child. She also had a fake cedula (meaning it was real and legit, it just wasn't hers).

By the way. I wouldn't take that girl outside of El Centro if I were you, I'm sure that is how the extorting cops knew where to find him. Second, I'm not sure I would disbelieve a board member (who goes out of his way to post stories and pictures which benefits everyone) based on the word of a streetwalker.

If a woman says she was raped then all the other women believe her just because they are women too. Now here we have a guy saying he was set-up by a girl who brought police and we are supposed to believe him because we are guys also. Nope. There are a couple of important points in this paragraph.

First, the bias isn't gender limited. If a woman doesn't like the woman who says she was raped, she's unlikely to believe her. Or if a woman likes the accused rapist she's likely to believe him. The same holds true for men hearing the story. Their personal feelings about those involved are a bigger factor than gender alignment.

The second important point is where you mention belief. Belief gets in the way of the facts. Rather than believing one version or the other, there's some useful things to be learned from the experience, however it happened.

1. In the picture of the girl, she looks too young to me. In either version of the events, that's the critical detail. If she looks too young, the potential for problems increases. Without some dependable other method to verify age, my opinion is that it's better to walk away.

2. It's a good idea to minimize your liability. If you do drugs keep the minimum necessary on hand. Getting caught with a few grams is much easier to talk your way out of than getting caught with a large quantity. This also applies to money. Your money is safer in the bank until you need it. If the police get involved and expect a contribution to uninvolve themselves, the amount is going to depend on how much you have on hand.

3. Keep a low profile. The longer you plan to stay, the more important this becomes. If you fly in for the weekend, you can be a rockstar in Parque Lleras. If you're staying for a month, pretty soon someone will put a target on you if you're making it rain every night.

4. Don't fall in love. 99.99% of the chicas who fall in love with a gringo, are in love with the lifestyle and the money. If you want to fall in love with a girl in a third world country, then put all your money in a trust that only allows you a lower middle class income in that country. Live on a budget, live at the level of the people around you. When your disposable income is 80 k per day or less, all the girls who love you are suddenly going to find someone else to love.

Using a translator she said something to the effect that you were renting an apartment (AirBnB) and that she is 19 but looks young so the owners of the apartment called the police..I've heard of the underage scam, but I'm uncertain if it was in Medellin. It certainly is a possibility, which is why it's better to walk away than take a chance on any who look too young.

Just a word in Osteo's defense. It's easy to jump to conclusions if you get caught in a bad situation. You make a few assumptions and try to make sense of things and that solidifies into your version of the story.

When I first saw her in person I thought she was a trannie based on her voice. But her FB photos show her having a kid,I am a guy and I have a kid. I have several gay friends that have kids. I also have pictures with my nephews and other people's kids that are not my kids. I have a picture with my daughter and grandkids on facebook and chicks think it is my wife and kids. Having pictures with a kid says nothing except there is a picture with a kid.

A guy recently posted pics of a girl in Medellin that he has been involved with for like 3 years. On the facebook it shows the girl with a kid. To everybody's eyes except his, this girl is obviously a guy.

When I clicked on your girl's facebook I see she is friends with a few hardcore monger members in the same group. I am sure they would not add a dude and in the facebook pics she looks nothing at all like a dude.

For those of you who follow me and pay attention this was the exact same girl I warned about at the horse statue in a prior post. Trust me, that irony is not lost on me. And she is also the same chica who I had my Spanish teacher confirm that she had an authentic cedula that showed her to be 19 years old. I took her to my hotel room on Avenue 70 after we had a few sessions in Love Motels in El Centro.

A police sting team came by and substituted the ID she left behind the hotel desk with a fake one that showed her to be under age and then came into my room with her, crying, both ID's, guns drawn, 4 guys.

They spent about a half an hour putting the fear of God in my heart about how much trouble I was in how I would need a lawyer how I would be leaving the hotel in handcuffs, etc. Etc. They let the girl go early in the ordeal or she left with a cop I don't remember. Their main focus seem to be that I was with the girl in my room and they kept referring to the photos in my telephone as infantile porn.

I also have been back in touch with the girl who says she was not part of it but they let her go the same night. She says because when they looked her up in the computer and it did show she was in fact 19, which of course makes no sense with the rest of the story.

I went to El Centro the next day and in fact every day until the time I left and she was there working as per usual. I did not talk to her.

As recently as yesterday I asked the investigator if I could see her again if that would cause trouble and this was his exact response, "Si no hice nada con usted, con ella tampoco puedo hacer nada."

There is a lot more to it but I'm not going to write any more about it because people are going to think what they want to think my only motivation was in warning you guys so be careful out there I don't need to subject myself to the be that goes on here when I'm just trying to help out and I'm not going to apologize for being the best writer on ISG, jajaja. Ostee Out. In the interest of length I'm going to stop now. *I may write more about it, maybe maybe not. I'm not going to respond to any specific other posts about this, what you see is what you get and people can believe what they want to believe.

The whole sordid Affair was not fun to go through at the time but believe it or not at. I'm starting to feel like there's going to be some good that comes out of it. One thing my guy keeps stressing that I don't have any worries when it comes to police matters in the future, so as Bill Murray would say in Caddyshack, at least I got that going for me.

I said I wasn't going to write any more about it but for some reason the meat of the post in the middle didn't show up in the other post so here it is, more detail and some of the nuts and bolts of what actually went on. Sorry about the repetition in the post if I try to fix it it fucks up the whole post up I can't do any better:

They found my Tussy and threw it on the middle of my bed.

They took my phone and kept looking at pictures I had in there and saying that a bunch of the girls were underage but none of them were.

I was in my underwear and I was able to sweep my pants over the Tussy when getting dressed and grab it with my hand at the same time and put it in the pocket all in one motion without them noticing and they just assumed one of the other cops took it as they were pilfering some of my stuff anyway. * I then went straight to the bathroom and flushed it.

One by one the cops all left the room until it was just one guy and me and when the Moment of Truth came for me to leave he asked me did I want to get out of it?

We spent about another half hour trying to work out the details with him calling a supervisor to get the okay for the deal. * he wanted to take my debit card and have me give him my password but I wouldn't do it, but he wouldn't let me leave on my own even though he had my passport and my phone.

He asked me how much would I pay and I said three million but he told me that wasn't enough. Then I started to sense that I had a little negotiating power because he seems a little bit nervous about getting caught.

I told him the maximum amount I could get out of an ATM was 2 million pesos at one time, even though I had gotten as much as four million in two withdrawals at the same time from Davienda, which is where we were going.

The plan he came up with was that I was going to go to the ATM, he would follow me, after my withdrawal he would walk up to me like we were friends in the street walk to a corner Park and then I was going to hand them over the money which is exactly what we did. When I handed over the money he returned my phone and passport to me.

Now here's where it started to get surreal. He started telling me that he liked me and that he wanted to be my friend. He said that I needed to pay more money the next day but that I only had to pay "from my heart" as a gift.

There's a lot more that went into it but I will cut to the quick and say the next morning I met him, he took me for a drive in his car and I gave him 1 million more.

He then proceeded to show me a bunch of photos of his family including his wife, mother, children and parents, I kid you not. * Then he took two selfies of he and I and asked me for my WhatsApp number which I gave him. * *We have been in touch briefly every day even though I'm back in the United States. He calls me his friend and tells me I now have police protection. * he told me if I ever get in trouble in the future I am to call him.

I also have been back in touch with the girl who says she was not part of it but they let her go the same night. * She says because when they looked her up in the computer it did show she was in fact 19.

Two days after the incident I was outside and I heard someone whistling me down and it was the investigator and he came over and started making small* talk with me like he was a good friend. * Then he proceeded to describe seeing me the day before and in detail the girl I was with as we were walking to dinner. * That gave me an uneasy feeling to say the least.

Thinking back I think the guy really does Jen really want to keep me as a contact in case he can get more money from me and believe it or not he likes having a gringo as a friend. I don't think he's planning on extorting me ever again but if I ever need him officially for help of course is going to cost me. And I do not mind that arrangement one bit.

And if this helps anyone else connected dots better than me he's not from Eddie and he's based in Bogota and he says he's part of a child pornography task force.

And I would like to thank Villainy for the moral support he gave me through a very difficult time.

And yes I probably would have beat the whole thing in court but that would have meant staying in Medellin for months past my Visa expiration, getting a lawyer, pay living expenses and the Policia knew this and that I was going to take the path of least resistance, pay my "fine" lick my wounds and move on.

And this last part will sound insane because I'm giving advice about this but it's something I've said before in the past. If you ever stuck in a legal situation in another country it doesn't matter where and you have the opportunity to get out short and quick always take that opportunity, do not ever prolong it, don't try to stand up for what is right it's misguided, you always end up paying more in the end.

Fortunately for me the money was trivial and believe it or not I think I've gained a valuable contact that may be worth it, although the way I got there could have been a little smoother, jajaja. Ostee Out and never give up, you have to Keep On Keepin On.

I had heard and read before this trip that an influx of newbies was responsible in large part for the deterioration of the Medellin scene, but it was not until last week that I saw it with my own eyes. I always travel solo and usually steer clear of other gringos (except when I stayed at the Mansion as a newbie, when the camaraderie was extremely helpful and supportive). My latest choice of lodging. Provenza Lofts. Exposed me to other gringos more than usual.

One of a group of three guys staying there saw the girls that I was having over when I came out to pay the hoes' taxis; he was on the front porch smoking a lot. Apparently they thought that my lineup was unbelievably smoking hot. They seemed to think that I was some sort of James Bond of mongering.

I explained to them that I thought that my lineup for this trip was actually sub-par by Medellin standards, or at least compared to my previous trips. They asked where I was finding girls, as they seemed to think that Parque Lleras, Gusto, and Tinder were the best places to look (facepalm). I warned them to avoid Lleras and Tinder girls for security reasons and to avoid Gusto for price reasons. They were vaguely aware of Facebook as a source of hoes and had no knowledge of typical / historical pricing there.

I ran into them again when I was catching my Uber to La Isla on my last Saturday night. They were aware of Fase II, but I explained to them that La Isla had the best talent in town. Lo and behold, they showed up at La Isla hours later.

You may have heard stories or seen videos of guys at La Isla "making it rain" in recent months. Apparently the La Isla staff encourages this practice by distributing stacks of 2 k bills to groups of guys spending large amounts of money. (But the bartenders give me dirty looks if I ask for small bills as change when I buy my Coke Zero and Gatorade). These guys were about to "make it rain" 2 k bills when I advised them against it, explaining its harmful effect on the market and girls' attitudes, expectations, and work ethic (if there even is such a thing among paisa hoes any more). I suggested instead that they use the 2 k bills more conservatively to fulfill the requests for tips by the girls circulating after their stage performances. Sticking bills into their g-strings or whatever they have on provides an opportunity to inspect the merchandise and "kick the tires," so to speak, by grabbing their asses and so on. I use this as an opportunity to scope out candidates for back room sessions.

Unfortunately there was another group of Middle Eastern-looking guys who decided to "make it rain" - and not in COP, but in USD (facepalm). This USD rain lasted an unusually long period of time, as they stretched it out in dribs and drabs, and it consumed the attention of about half of the girls in the club at the time. I had only had two sessions at the club by that point in the night and was still looking for a third, but I could not get it because the USD rain distracted so many of the girls, including a few of my candidates. The irony is that the girls probably could have made more money if they had tried to work for back room sessions with or at least get girlie drinks out of other guys, instead of chasing the small bills that these clowns were throwing around. And, as far as I could tell, these Middle Eastern-looking guys did not even try to fuck any of the girls.

Suffice is to say that my next Colombia trip will be to Bogota or Cali.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Ostee Out and never give up, you have to Keep On Keepin On.Yeah great snappy saying, Lol.

You should probably Keep on staying out of Colombia for a bit.

You think you've made a new friend, maybe you have, or maybe you're being watched.

You're the opposite of keeping a low profile, which to me is a better tactic.

Anyway, to each their own.

Good luck, you seem like a good guy at heart.

It's Official: Medellin is the New Costa Rica.

This early October trip to Medellin was my sixth visit to that city, and it might be my last one for a while. The unfavorable changes to the Medellin Facebook scene in the past year, including price inflation, a high rate of cita flakery, and a decrease in certain aspects of the quality of service, have made it a less attractive and competitive destination. I tried a new approach after similar results on my last trip in July and decided to give Medellin a second chance, but it only succeeded in partially mitigating this deteriorating situation. I did have several good citas, but Bogota and Cali now look more attractive as relatively unspoiled alternatives to a scene that is increasingly reminding me of Costa Rica or Sosua. At this point, the only remaining advantages of the Medellin Facebook scene for me are the sheer numbers of girls and the greater availability of BBBJ and even BBFS, which are nonetheless strong selling points.

One change in my strategy was to stay in a better apartment. I used to stay in a relatively cheap and basic Poblado Rentals building. I decided to stay in the more upscale Provenza Lofts this time. The girls who had seen my previous apartment agreed unanimously that this unit was much nicer. The higher-quality lodging nonetheless had no discernible impact on either the quality of service that I received or the amount of time that they stayed after my leche. Indeed, I had better experiences at the cheaper and more modest place where I stayed before. Although I do hope to try the even more upscale Energy building in the future, I am not convinced that spending more money on a better place is a good investment. The only mongering advantage of Provenza Lofts (which is nonetheless a fine property and still good value for the money in purely real estate terms) was the 24/7 reception, which I wanted particularly for the overnight citas that I planned to do. I had also looked into staying in Laureles, in the hopes of reducing the girls' travel times and possibly their flake rates, but the San Peter building that seems to be the default choice there does not have jacuzzis.

I also revised my "anti-flake" strategies in response to the skyrocketing rate of Facebook cita flakery, but I still got similar results. I had been double-booking for cita time slots in the past, but even that often failed when both girls flaked on me. I tried triple-booking this time, but I only got similar or slightly better results. Not enough to put a serious dent in the problem.

Price inflation has been identified as a key driver of these increasing levels of flakery. In other words, girls will flake on one's cita if they get better offers from another guy. I found in practice that higher offers had no impact on the rate at which girls kept their appointments. Indeed, I found that the girls who accepted lower offers at or around historic prices were actually more likely to keep their appointments than those that pushed for inflationary prices. That may have been because those girls sticking to the historic price range were probably less desirable or in demand and thus had more motivation to keep whatever appointments they got.

If price inflation and high demand are causing this high rate of flakery, perhaps my slightly higher offers (50 k more than pre-COVID norms, but only if I felt that I could justify it in terms of price or service) were not high enough. I received many outrageous price quotes as high as 500 k COP and even 300 USD for short-time sessions. When girls start quoting prices in USD, it is time to go somewhere else. At such prices, I would be better off in Brazil, with equally good or better talent and much higher standards of service. Brazil's PCR test requirement deterred me from going there in the past year or so, but I see now that they accept antigen tests, which pose fewer complications.

Another change in my strategy was to do more repeats with girls that I have already seen before. Although all but one of my repeats actually showed up and delivered satisfying service, the results were not as good as they had been in the past, with a few notable exceptions. Indeed, one of my repeats, who had delivered two high-quality sessions in the past (one of which was as recent as July), was one of my biggest and most surprising disappointments. Her character seemed to have changed dramatically in the less than three months since I had last seen her, which highlighted to me the rapidity with which the Medellin Facebook scene is deteriorating. Many girls who stayed with me at length for post-leche GFE in the past seemed to have shifted to a "hit-it-and-quit-it" style of service, presumably in order to move on to another cita after mine. I was hoping for at least a modicum of loyalty for a repeat customer, but in some cases my faith was misplaced. I also do not want to rely too heavily on repeats just in order to get girls to show up. If I wanted the same pussy all the time, I would just get married. The only thing better than pussy is new pussy. That's one of the main reasons for mongering.

Over tourism, with an influx of newbie mongers, is clearly one of the main sources of this problem, but it is clearly having impacts on Medellin beyond mongering in general. For example, the guys selling soccer jerseys and other random stuff were more aggressive than they were even just a few months ago in July. They seemed to be offended that I did not want to buy their stuff, as if they were somehow entitled to a sale. Even the guys selling soda from carts in Centro asked for tips for selling me soda during my street meat runs and seemed offended when I disregarded their requests. This does not sound like the Medellin that I came to know and love; it is now more like over touristed places, such as Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.

Medellin certainly does have alternatives to Facebook, such as casas, strip clubs, and Centro street meat. The quality of the talent and / or service is nonetheless also highly variable, and the pervasive CBJ culture is often a showstopper for me. Centro street meat runs are also sensitive to weather, as I learned the hard way that unusually rainy week. La Isla remains my go-to nighttime backup, but even that is suffering from newbie clowns "making it rain," even in USD (see my other post). More importantly, going to these in-person venues defeats the purpose of going to a city whose most remarkable mongering market is (or at least used to be) on the Internet. If I wanted to monger at in-person venues like these, I would be better off in Bogota or Cali, with lower prices, minimal gringo contamination, no Internet flakery, and more tits & ass.

I had originally planned to go to Bogota after the disappointment of my last trip. I decided to give Medellin a second chance because of reports of a slow market in Bogotá's Santa Fe red light district and with a new approach to Medellin Facebook, which clearly did not have much impact. It looks now like Santa Fe may be a bit livelier, and even Cali seems to be recovering from the worst of the riots this spring. My first visit to Cali last year was interrupted when all hell broke loose in March 2020 and I had to abort. I would like to give Cali another shot if it is returning to some semblance of normalcy.

There are a couple of important points in this paragraph.

there's some useful things to be learned from the experience, however it happened.I like the points you've made here and I'll just add: never take the girls out of their element into yours. They followed the trail to our guys hotel because that's where his passport and debit cards could be taken and used as leverage. If you only have the cash on you and you keep your mongering activities in Centro, it's harder for them to identify you or extort you. The flipside of this is that they could always hold you until you agree to lead them to your room where these things could be found- but that's much more difficult for them and it's likely they would agree to a small and immediate cash payoff especially if their case is flimsy.

I was held by some police in Brazil and once they realized my girl was of age and didn't have any convictions or unpaid fines they just let me go. It's a pretty nerve wracking experience that you don't forget. As many have said, even for girls with a cedula-if she looks younger than 18, don't even bother. Most women don't get really good at sex until their 20's anyways.

The "investigator" probably wasn't wearing a police uniform. How about the other three, uniforms? The fact that the "investigator" was in the area where Osteoknot was staying for the next two days lends more credence to it being a scam. I know for a fact there are civilians, claiming to be policemen, looking for gringos to shake down. I had two encounters with them. I didn't go along with their scheme, but neither had a gun. When Osteoknot returns to Medellin, I wish he would go to the police station and ask if they know the "investigator".

As for Villainy's statement "The reception didn't call the cops that isn't remotely possible. " How does he know that? Does he think there are no hotel employees who work with scammers?

Shake downs like this are common, often most by cops in vice, as security and police are often not required to show badges and the oversight is non existent, it is hard to identify non cops.

Usually the bait is either a GF of or partner in the scam, and usually its a turf thing, scammers from another area wouldn't dare enter some else's turf.

I am glad that you are safe and got out with minimal losses.

What is your advice to avoid such a scam in Colombia?

How long do you typically stay when you visit?I spend enough time in Medellin that it makes sense to have a cell phone and Gmail just for Medellin. My only long trip is Jan thru March.

What is the location of this grille nueva awesome place? I can't find it on google maps.Grille Nueva is NOT an "awesome place". It's an almost skanky underground bar across the street on the north side of Botero Plaza. The vast majority of the chicas working here are disgustingly thick for my taste. I heard that recently some new arrivals from Venezuela started working in these seedy el centro bars and sure enough I found one diamond in the rough at Grille Nueva.

I like those places too. They make life simple. Only problem is that the rooms they use are truly awful. Sometimes I find it too much of a turn off. Sometimes. Did you find any of them to have better rooms?True story I needed to duck down to about 42 inches into the passageway leading to the rooms. What I didn't remember is after going thru the first cutout in the wall there is a small cavity and then a second 42 inch cutout in a second wall. I raised my head between the two and banged on my forehead on the second one. Damn hard too and I had a big lump on my forehead. Valentina couldn't stop touching it and giggling about it. It made the session memorable for both of us and created a weird sort of bond between us. When I saw her the second time she immediately touched my forehead to see how it was. My impression of the room itself is that it was pretty decent with clean sheets considering this entire encounter cost less than $20 for 30 minutes. I wasn't expecting anything more than a horizonal surface to do the deed. There is a cold water shower attached no extra charge jajjaja.

Assuming everything Osteoknot wrote really happenedIt matters not what you assume, as ultimately he's the center of attention and that's the goal.

You don't have to go to a store at all. You can register on the Claro website or on the phone itself via the miclaro web site. Any nine digit passport number will work.I mentioned in the original post, I tried the *611# method and the Mi Claro app. Neither works. 611 just comes back with a text message saying there's a problem blah blah blah. Mi Claro doesn't even let me create an account unless I have a home phone number (that's different from the prepaid cell number).

I had a chica try her cedula today using the *611# method. I didn't know exactly all the menus she was going through. I started her on the menu where you can pick what document you want to use. After going through all the prompts she couldn't get it to register. Funny thing is one of the "you will be blocked" messages I get from Claro says to hit *611# Option 7-1-1 to register. But there is no option 7.

Also tried a random 9 digit number in case something's wrong with my passport. No luck there as well.

https://www.claro.com.co/personas/servicios/servicios-moviles/adicionales/beneficios/registra-imei/ under the prepaid lines tab. These instructions don't work either. *233# doesn't give me a menu where I can select option 2 as instructed.

That's the state of Colombian computer systems. Ugh.

Assuming everything Osteoknot wrote really happened, I don't think he was dealing with the real police.

Does he think there are no hotel employees who work with scammers?I read the posts, I look at the photo's.

Very much is real, very believable, yet some things don't make sense, maybe true, maybe not, almost like a hybrid of fiction and reality, the hallmarks of good fiction, or maybe not. LOL.

They took my phone and kept looking at pictures I had in there and saying that a bunch of the girls were underage but none of them were.

One by one the cops all left the room until it was just one guy and me and when the Moment of Truth came for me to leave he asked me did I want to get out of it?

He asked me how much would I pay and I said three million but he told me that wasn't enough. Then I started to sense that I had a little negotiating power because he seems a little bit nervous about getting caught.

And if this helps anyone else connected dots better than me he's not from Eddie and he's based in Bogota and he says he's part of a child pornography task force.Sorry you went through this man. Thanks for putting yourself out there and admitting to all of us that you got trapped in a extortion scam due to your carelessness and complacency. Most guys wouldn't put themselves out there like this because of the backlash.

We can only tempt fate so many times before getting caught. And honestly this should be a warning for all of us to be more diligent and cautious in medallo.

Based on what everyone talks and posts about on here. You all need to be more selective. Interview interview interview. Only if you vibe with the Chica should you take her back for a spin. If there's no chemistry DO NOT take her back. Spending a few nights without a Chica won't kill you. And watch her like a hawk! Only after 2-3 times when trusts is established do you let your guard down with that Chica. This ain't Europe or the US. It's Colombia the jungle baby!

Or casas or strip clubs are options. Me like others I like to hunt. I've actually never been to a casa or strip club I'm Colombia. But I definitely keep low key and don't lease around central. All you "seasoned mongers" can have el centro. My pussy ass will stay with what I know and where it's safe amongst people I trust. I get way less action than most on this board but also much less headache.

Thinking back I think the guy really does Jen really want to keep me as a contact in case he can get more money from me and believe it or not he likes having a gringo as a friend. I don't think he's planning on extorting me ever again but if I ever need him officially for help of course is going to cost me. And I do not mind that arrangement one bit..Sorry you went through this man. Thanks for being honest about being extorted by the cops due to your carelessness and complacency. Most guys would be too embarrassed to say anything. You can only tempt the devil so many times without getting caught! And dude WTF is wrong with you? Did your balls drop! You really think he's your "friend" after stealing from you like a punk *****? If you truly believe that he's your friend and you have "police" protection / extortion you are delusional.

Me personally, I have never done neither because I enjoy the hunt just like anyone else. But I'm selective and bang less girls in a month then most of you in a week or a day! LOL. You hardcore "seasoned" mongers can keep your el centro while my pussy ass will stay where I'm familiar amongst people I know. Safety is always more important than pussy. This ain't USA or Europe. You're the opposite of keeping a low profile, which to me is a better tactic.

Anyway, to each their own.

Good luck, you seem like a good guy at heart.Agreed! I love reading Ostee's post but he is the opposite of keeping a low profile. There is a parade of girls going through his rooms, and drugs. I'm sure he was targeted and extorted.

That is not me and never will be. Maybe those turn out to be my famous last words, jajajaja. I truly do not fear death and if I accept that as the ultimate outcome then most of the time I can live with the results of my actions without any regrets. That is not the same as a Death Wish, far from it. I love life and I love my life and I love living it. My epithet will say on my tombstone, "If I die tomorrow I die a happy man. " I am 100% serious about that.

I don't want anyone to be like me and I certainly don't want to be like anyone else. I'm just documenting a journey and some people seem to benefit a little from my experiences even if they only glean examples about what not to do. And I will continue to post even it's just for the amusement and entertainment factor which many people have told me they enjoy. And wait a minute, could it be possible that a few people might actually join ISG because of my posts? That's a stretch but you never know, that's what I've Been Told.

I also find it amusing that I am sometimes found suspect because of my writing ability. Me can dumb it down and write stupider for people if that makes them calmer, jaja. I do not sit around and do rewrites and carefully choose my words and craft a grammatically perfect post. I'm used to having a professional editor for that and I don't have the patience.

My celebrity sister who has written two New York Times Best Sellers with a third one on the way tells me I'm the best writer in the family. She's being sweet and gracious because she has the books on the Shelf, not me. I have four or five books more than half completed but I have Fear of Completion Syndrome. I'd rather start a new one then finish an old one, jajajja.

So yeah I can turn a phrase and that gives another Target for people to focus on when it taps into their insecurities. I'm used to me, I've been around me for a long time now, a lot of people they never seen anyone like me. I'm a unique and special individual, just like everyone else, jajajaja.

The normal and judicious thing to do would be to walk away from the situation about which I most recently posted. God knows I have enough hawt girls to keep me occupied. Right now I'm taking a little break in the United States. But I know me. I will probably seek out that little hot Vinny chica again. Really, I have a pass now because I know she's nineteen, and I happen to believe Jorge (obviously not his real name) as the principal investigator that I'm not going to suffer double indemnity. He heads a child pronography task force out of Bogota. He really is a cop. I saw his Police Academy photos, and photos of him in uniform at his graduation standing with his mom, etc. , etc.

The guys here go off and all kinds of amusing tangents again everyone needs to solve for it in their own head. That's what brains do, they hate open Loops. But I'm the one living it and don't confuse my somewhat wild and Reckless Behavior (I call it fun) with an inability to perceive the situation.

Life is good here in the states too. I've been retired since 2019 at a relatively young age. I'm getting ready to head to Myrtle Beach and Folly Beach on the same trip in my fully restored and heavily modified (read as, fast as fuck) 1995.

300 ZX Twin Turbo with a very hot woman who also happens to be my ex-wife. We still get along great in fact we're better friends now than we were when we were married. I also just bought two VIP backstage passes for a show that features Vanilla Ice as the lead performer at a Pride Festival to celebrate my birthday. That should be a hoot. I don't think anyone parties harder than drag queens in their full regalia. I hope we get a couple of homophobic anti-gay Posts here in response to that so I can add a couple more numbnuts to my always expanding Ignore List.

I don't do any drugs in the USA, maybe an occasional beer, I'm kind of a health nut believe it or not. I returned to the United States in better physical and mental condition than when I left. I don't Advocate a life of drug use but people have no clue when they're talking about Tussy if they are not speaking from personal experience. Properly made, and mine is custom made, it's a performance enhancer. Sure I do too much sometimes, you can overdose on any drug.

An interesting point worth mentioning is when I got busted and lost my drugs I did not even miss it and did not even occur to me that I was without drugs until a few days later I was visiting a friend and he brought it up he asked me if I wanted some and honest to God that was the first time the thought crossed my mind I was without Tussy. That pretty much proves I do not have an addiction or even a dependence on it. I took a half a gram from him and before I left town I returned it to him unused.

You can lump all recreational drug use into one big pile or you can have a Discerning mind and realize that there's a wave coming in the future of performance-enhancing drugs just as in the same way a lot of you right now are taking antidepressants or mood stabilizers to improve deficits. But in the near future, pharmaceutical companies will be selling drugs as mental and intellectual performance enhancers to people without any perceived mental health or physical diagnosis.

And on that note, Ostee Out, and Keep On Keepin' On! Good Morning! Wow, that turned out to be long so probably will not get read but I just dictated on the Fly before getting out of bed this morning.

Random gratuitous photo includes my mattress in my front yard as I am deep in my mildew abatement project in my master bedroom. Happened while I was away. Never had this problem before but my neighbor told me they had a days of torrential downpour and I'm sure being the low spot of my house my bedroom got hit with high humidity levels, obviously. I will probably have some pros come in at the end to do the final mold Annihilation with their fancy machines but I can do the clothes, shoes, bed and floors before then and save a few pennies. Gives me something to do with a true sense of accomplishment when done. I'll see if I can find a few good photos of my z32 car and ex-wife. My photo files all got jacked when I temporarily deleted everything and moved it to the cloud for my recent passage through immigration. I will PayPal someone a dollar if they can tell me where she is standing in that J. Lo pink short jumper and I'll even give you a huge hint, somewhere in New York City.

What is your advice to avoid such a scam in Colombia?Colombia or anywhere; have your fun and enjoy, but be smart, low key, not the center of attention, most especially when breaking the rules a bit (drugs, etc).

Common sense really.

I tried a new approach after similar results on my last trip in July and decided to give Medellin a second chance, but it only succeeded in partially mitigating this deteriorating situation..Hmmm I've been saying that since after 1999 when I was the only gringo in town, except maybe the Tall man maybe, Lol.

Times change though, either roll with it or move on I guess.

I'll always enjoy Medellin, though it's far from my favorite place anymore.

Does someone have experience with finding Freelancer in Medellin through Tinder? I read here a lot about Facebook, but not about using Tinder for that.

Is this also a possible way for Hunting? Please share your experience. Because I'm not so into facebook and I'm thinking about tinder Gold for Hunting there, but I don't know if this brings success in Medellin.

Although I'm sure if you look hard enough you could find a Colombian cop who could be convinced to accept a bribe.

With the final part, Villainy has been living there for a year or more. If anyone knows about that location, it's probably him.

It's Official: Medellin is the New Costa Rica..
This is why we can't have nice things. These two posts made me LOL. I'm definitely observing many of the same things as you are.

- General price inflation, including chica price inflation, if Davivienda ATMs now allowing 2 million COP withdrawals are any indication. Normal FB price seems to be 200 k + taxi now, with a few accepting lower.

- Repeats from prior trips are often not worth it. So far I met with 3 from my prior trip. 2 got fatter, 2 of them became more hardcore / mercenary / gave worse service, all of them wanted more money than before. See attached screenshots.

- Girls appear to be looking for different offers at the same time while negotiating with you. Ex: you give them the price, and they disappear for a few minutes before accepting your offer.

- Please keep the FB scene an open secret and don't tell random dudes about FB. Keep the ones who don't do their homework on Tinder, clubs, SA.

- Once a girl has been in the scene for some time and is above average looking, watch her price go up and service go down.

I am by no means a Colombian expert, but I come from a worse 3rd world country where prostitution isn't legal.

What is your advice to avoid such a scam in Colombia?Asking advice from those unqualified to give it, is like following a 10 dollar bill attached to fishing line into a dark alley LOL.

I like the old saying " When in Rome, do as the Romans do". Some people don't understand what this means.

These folks have no business travelling internationally and if they do are subject to the natural laws of predator v. S. Prey. Lolol.
