NEW LIFE.
This was the best casa from all.
I visited 6 times from my 10 day trip and had sessioned with 5 chicas.
All the time 10 to 15 chicas available.
They cleaned the room after every session.
New sheet, new towel and clean the floor, too.
All the room has 2 sided mirror and fan.
Quality and service was the best from all the casas.
This is the only casa you pay after session.
Funny thing is when I go back there next day, chica I sessioned previous day was greeting me.
But I didn't go there for the same chica.
I want to try another cutie. So that broke her heart.
I got some GFE also.
There is a good restaurant at downstair.
Botaniko. Free wifi and nice meal like carne asada or pollo.
Very clean and nice. owner speaks some english.
I ate lunch 5 times here cost 9k with juice and soup together.
I met some monger at this restaurant.
we exchanged some info and also went to casa shopping together.Don your the man! They probably put your name on one of the chairs in the waiting room and have been waiting for your return since you left!
New Life is definitely popular. It is not the only casa where you pay afterwards. Abydos has the same policy. Of course, it is not in El Centro like New Life but it definitely is a casa.

He has never been greeted to me.
I think he has some attitude problem or jealous of me.

BAR CONEJITAS.
I stopped by this bar few times.
Door guy was so nice and this bar is located on the intersection of big street.
So it is not dangerous at all even at night.
They have around 10 to 15 chicas available all the times.
My beer is 3 k, water is 4 k and her beer is 6 k.
I found 3 cuties and I took 1 upstairs.
She was asking 70 k but negotiated down to 55 k plus 5 k tip.
Going to upstair is like a trip to treasury island.
I was little bit scared to go upstairs but she assured me everything is ok.
Room was clean and there is a bathroom, shower, tv and fan.
It was big room and I felt safe.
After good GFE, we exchanged phone number.
She came to my hotel room few days later and stayed with me 3 hours.
90% of the customer at this bar is local customer but I never felt dangerous.
This is the must visit bar after 9 pm or so.
Also I went to Bar executive but I was followed by 3 rateros.
So I ran back to the busy street and they are gone.
This street is a little bit small and dangerous.
This bar is located around 2 block from main intersection.
Not many people is walking this street.
Unless you have a wingman, I don't recommend you going there alone.
So I couldn't check out the bar.
Also I stopped by lots of local bar nearby with my wingman.
I found some cuties but I didn't take them upstair.
Bc I was little bit scared with that area.
Anyway I found a real goddess faced chica which is only 19 years old and worked their 3 days.
She was so sexy, so I bought her 4 k beer. After talking to her around 10 min, I decided to take her upstairs.
But bummmmm.
She doesn't go upstairs with nobody yet.
So I offered her big compensation if she come to my hotel.
I gave her phone number and my hotel direction.
But she didn't come.
Overall bar scene is delightful and you will find some gem at local bar.
More trip report will follow.

I was staying near botero plaza and antioquia museum.
There were a lots of street walker near that area.
I found some diamond in the ruff and took some of them to my room.
Their cost is between 20-30 k for half an hour.
Most of them are so ugly and dirty, so you should give a real effort to find a gem.
Also there were some tranny, so be careful.
I don't recommend you walk alone at night.
So many ratero nearby, so be careful at night.
Also I went to the Mayorista once.
It wasn't that good scene, but I found one cutie and had a good time.
Little bit dangerous, so as soon as I finished a session, I took a taxi and came back to my hotel.
I wasn't impressed at Mayorista.
Mayorista is so small and ugly and fat chicas available over there.
Also I met some civilian and got some phone number.
I still talk to them at whatapp.
When I go back to medellin, I will seeing those chicas.
Overall medellin chicas are very cute, nice and amiable. Also sexy.
I will definitely visit again near furture.
I am currently in Manizales visiting my father and will be staying in Medellin for one night on my way back to Florida. I have a hotel near Prado metro station my Spanish is poor at best but I'd like to find a chica for an over night stay. Have any recommendations?
Thanks.

He has never been greeted to me. I think he has some attitude problem or jealous of me.You are not the only one. He was never nice to me either. I think that's the way he is. I even had an experience where I thought he was being obnoxious. Luckily, there was a Colombian monger who spoke good English. He stepped in and rectified the situation.

Jaja, stressful to say the least.
Cheers. Very few humans walk in his shoes.
It's not the same scene as new life / Aiffe etc. The cost is in line with Energy. Girls are about the same everywhere in my opinion but the rooms and packaging (girls clothes) are nicer at Abydos. It's across the street from Luna Lunera, not hard to find at all.
I didn't have abydos info.

Between work duties in northern Colombia and Ecuador, I had barely a day and a half for some are&are in Medellin. As always the city seemed packed with beautiful women. Especially if you're into Latinas and just finished 11 long days of work. Stayed at Medellin Royal which is great if it's within your budget. Excellent service, superb buffet breakfast, some real cuties on the staff, and a lap pool. Went to Thai Spa one afternoon. As mentioned in previous posts, this is an upscale place and pricey at 160 k CP for the hour. I've been to about 6 centro casas in the past, and by comparison, this place is downright luxurious. With the current exchange rate, it's still ridiculously cheap by my standards. Five girls working on a Friday afternoon about 2 PM. All were slender, attractive, and immaculate. I really liked three of the five and chose Mafe, a gorgeous young thing with an outrageous all natural hard body, medium length brown hair, flawless light brown skin like silk, a subtle but amazingly sexy smell, and the natural no-makeup look I like. She did a very good BBBJ for a generous tip. While the sex was very good, but not great by my Colombia standards, between her beauty and having been sex-free for several weeks, I had a very intense orgasm. Good stuff.
Next day went to the Laureles apartamento of a website girl, Valeria. 21 year old light skinned paisa with the long silky black hair, a very cute face, and a great all natural body. The house was surprisingly nice and one of those places where four or five chicas, all of them different but reasonably hot in their own way, share the set up. 140 k CP for the hour with BBBJ. She was cute, fun, and sexy, and while it wasn't outstanding, she was just what I was looking for.
Short visit but a great time. I fucking love Colombia.

http://www.xvideos.com/video10798528/miss_tanga_2014_luxury_club_medellin_-_medellin_vipThanks for the video. The Blond on the far right is a prepago and I'm sure all of them are in some capacity. Usual story want to be a lawyer and a model blah blah blah. My homie reported mediocre service and had a crazy asking price for a TLN something like $500 mil COP.
My main point: As I get older and maybe more "used" to the beauty of Mede and Latina women in General I find my taste in women has gone to the more all natural type vs the super heavy Chica silicona.
I would think being the manager of New Life would be the job from hell. Jaja, stressful to say the least.
Cheers. Very few humans walk in his shoes. It is not hard to show a lineup. There are ways to be a better manager, but they got everyone by the balls because they have the most girls in town (for a casa). He gives me the same attitude probably usually like to wait a few rounds to pick. After every round he asks me and I say not yet. After a while, he just stops asking me. Then I need to flag him down when I see a girl I like.
I like so much reading reports about casas. I'll be in Medellin in few months for first time and I would like to live there for 6 months at least. I lived 1 year in Sosua. And I'm tired to pay to fuck ugly and stupid girls like Dominicans are. I guess Colombians are much better.
Can anyone tell me more about Medellin weather? Looks like it rains a lot or it s pretty cloudy. Is this true?
I need sun! The only thing I'm going to miss in Sosua is the beach.

http://www.weather-and-climate.com/average-monthly-Rainfall-Temperature-Sunshine, Medellin, Colombia.
It ain't the sunshine capital of the world, that's for sure. I lived there in Jan and Feb and those, along with December, are the driest months. I was also there during an unusually dry year. OTOH Rio is very hot and humid. If you want sun and mongering, I would recommend southern Spain.
In case cost is a decision factor, I recommend considering the P4P price difference (Medellin averages less). Comparable hotel rooms are generally close in price.

Spent a total of 13 days in Medellin over the past month. Spread the time between my favorita, a few Mansion girls, and some FB girls. Overall, had some good experiences, although more expensive this way. All of my contacts were relatively on time and none cancelled (or were no-shows). Was able to get a few over on very short notice. So far very happy with the list I've acquired, although some are clearly better performers than others.
I only did one casa run. To Zandaly. Been lots of hype about it, but not the day I went. First, had an old card for them and went to that (now abandoned) location. Luckily I had the map, so pulled it out and found where they had moved (probably years ago!
Six chicas in the line-up. All a little bit fat (for my taste). Took the only spinner, Valentina, for 1/2 hour. Mosquito bite tits, but good service otherwise. Did me so good we lost the condom in her pussy. But recovered that and got another. Solid effort. Nice (covered) BJ (did not bother negotiating for BBBJ). Got her number just in case, but didn't call her. Didn't have time to check out any other casas, as traffic was building and I had to get back for an appointment with the favorita.
QUESTION: Have need for a bit of surveillance. Don't really need a professional (read: expensive) private investigation company, just someone in Medellin who can do a bit of low-key surveillance. Prefer a Paisa that can blend in, as will need to move around in the barrio. Any ideas?
If you have any suggestions, please PM me.

FWIW, a good part of the year won't be anything close to beach weather in Spain.
Where do you monger in Southern Spain?
FWIW, a good part of the year won't be anything close to beach weather in Spain.Well, sure, it won't be beach weather anywhere in Europe in the dead of winter but I would say some good beach days start in early April and continue through the end of October or even early November in an average year.
Club Estark near the Caravajal train station is probably my favorite place, and Málaga and Fuengirola are good for private apartments and independent chicas. I lived about midway between those two cities. And if you get bored there, lots of cheap flights from Málaga to other places in Europe.
Any place that has 12 months a year of beaches is going to be too hot for me, personally. If I am in the tropics I need to be at elevation so for me, the weather in Medellín is pretty nice even though it does rain quite a bit. For drier mongering in the high tropics, you have San José and Guatemala City, which are bone dry for close to half the year.
I suggest, forget Medellin, head to Rio de Janeiro, beautiful beach and fun girls! Can you explain more the pros of Rio? I have been wanting to go for some time but the more research I do I'm not so sure. First I hear that we should wait until after the Olympics. They are trying to clean up and everything is inflated now. The freelance scene (Help, Love Story, etc) is dead. The Termas seems a bit expensive. There are some casa like places with comparable prices as MDE correct? However, I'm not a huge fan of casas. I prefer LT. I know if you are a huge fan of anal, then Brazil is where you should go.
Ricker, I know you split your time between Brazil and MDE and is probably the best person to ask. So what makes you such a fan?
In case cost is a decision factor, I recommend considering the P4P price difference (Medellin averages less). Comparable hotel rooms are generally close in price. If you get out of Copa, the prices in Rio are very comparable, especially wih the exchange rate these days.
Hey don't get me wrong, I dig Medellin too, but the guy was talking about fun in the sun with mongering options.
Don't think Medellin comes close to Rio for that!
Thanks for the info guys. Anyway I speak Spanish perfectly so I'm not going to Rio cause I don't speak Portuguese.
I think ill give a try to Medellin even the wheather is shitty. I will stay for a few months and will update about all casas.
If you speak Spanish you won't have a problem in Rio. The Brazilians understand it very well and you will get 70 to 75% of what they say and 90%+ of written Porto. But it does cost more.

Manser. I love Colombia, especially Medellin, but, if I had to choose, I'm with Ricker and like Rio better. While I've never had a bad experience with a girl in Medellin, I have had several mediocre performers. Not a big deal, but I've had pretty much 100 percent great and often downright outstanding experiences in Rio. I agree that language can be an issue, but, for whatever it's worth, you might be surprised how far your Spanish will take you in Rio. Ten years ago, my intermediate Spanish helped a lot, and since then I've learned enough Portuguese to make a nice difference. With a few vocabulary and pronunciation changes, you can get pretty far. And this time of year, their winter, temperatures and humidity are usually very pleasant. It might be a little more pricey, but IMHO, it's worth it. But either way you can't lose. Good luck.
Will be enrolling in a two week intensive Spanish course at the Unversidad EAFIT starting on June 30th that consists of four a hour class Monday thru Friday for two weeks.
Just took the written test and will get the results hopefully the end of the week along with an oral interview.
I think I will be lucky if I scored in the 25% percentile.
My observation thus far based on the test was it was primarily focused on verbs, conjugation, writing, etc.
Anybody attend their school and give some feedback? Another board member attended and was impressed and I am curious to hear others people take on the school.

I need sun! The only thing I'm going to miss in Sosua is the beach.Plenty of sun in Medellin. No beaches, but it does rain regularly but that rain is like a light rain. The plus is no bugs and low humidity. Medellin may just have the best weather on the planet. Medellin is hard to beat on many fronts. Go to the casas in el centro during the day. $15-20 for 30 minutes? Shhhhhhh you won't find that in Rio. Sosua sucks. It is absolutely the worst place I've ever been in every respect.

More trip report will follow.Sir, your information is fabulous. Thank you for your meticulous research. I haven't been to Medellin before, but when I do, I shall refer to your reports.
For a 2 weeks holiday I would go to Rio for sure. But for a 6 months stay I think is better Medellin. It's cheaper, has the most beautiful girls in the world and I speak Spanish. Rio has monthly rent much more expensive and when I went to Fortaleza didn't understand anything. Porto is a lot different compared to Spanish. Anyway I'll think about it cause the exchange rate Euro vs Real is getting good. 3.5. If it gets to 4 I'll choose Rio.

For those worried about the weather in Medellin, it's the only thing better than the women. I'm not sure how anybody could ask the question, what else does one have to know other than 1500 meters above sea level at the equator?
I highly recommend Newbies pay the the $20 and subscribe to ISG so they can receive Private Messages. The best information is shared behind this front page.
Had my building call me a cab to take me to New Life today. Cab driver refused to take me there, saying it was dangerous. He explained to me that there are protests about something going on there and he would only drive me to somewhere close by and I'd have to walk the rest of the way. It being my first time in Medellin and just arriving, that didn't sound too appealing to me.
Maybe I am just being a pussy, but if a Colombian taxi driver won't take me there, I don't really want to go there. Oh well, I'll pop my Medellin casa cherry another day!
It is making me feel more queasy about doing casa runs solo in el centro. If any other mongers are in a similar situation and are looking for casa run partners for shady areas feel free to send a PM.

If any other mongers are in a similar situation and are looking for casa run partners for shady areas feel free to send a PM.It looks like it was some protest regarding a new contraband law (import / export stuff). Here is a link. It refers to the protest yesterday but it seems like it might be the same thing:
http://www.elcolombiano.com/negocios/economia/lista-ley-anticontrabando-el-reto-es-que-se-aplique-ND2151582
El Colombiano covered the disturbances. Street vendors demonstrated and threw rocks at riot police. I assume the vendors don't want to be pushed off the main sidewalks where they can make the most money. The riot police were in full gear. Best to let that blow over before hitting the scene. As usual, the taxi drivers know the deal.

I was there a few weeks ago and New Life is not located in a shady area of El Centro.
If you can find out more I'm sure others would like to know like myself as I will be there in a week. If you can pass for a Colombian looks wise and speak some Spanish you probably should of went with the cab driver and assessed the situation upon arrival. You may have had the pick of the liter at New Life, but who knows.

You may have had the pick of the liter at New Life, but who knows.Medellin is coming into a new age and the taxi drivers are really looking out for tourists there. I lived there for 3 months last year and going back for another 3 months in July. I was amazed at how friendly they were and treated me with enthusiasm. New life is located near, if I recall a couple of blocks off the main street in el centro. I was there last year about this time, what you don't see is a massive build up of police force (I estimate several hundreds) on both sides of the main street that cut through el centro. I know because I was there and saw the whole thing. These guys are in riot gear and yes, some were caring fully automatic rifles. There also some armored vehicles too. So yes the taxi driver had it right. BUT, since I knew what was going on, I had him drop me off in the back way. Looking back, I should have stayed home that day because I do remember some young kids getting out of hand that day. You shouldn't see any more demonstrations after today. Be thank full, its a good sign if the taxi driver is telling you something. So far I've had no bad issues with all the cab drivers I have rode with there in Medellin. However, Bogata is a complete 180.

If you can pass for a Colombian looks wise and speak some Spanish you probably should of went with the cab driver and assessed the situation upon arrival. You may have had the pick of the liter at New Life, but who knows.Well, I spoke with the taxi driver in Spanish, no English was involved in our brief 2-3 minute conversation. He explained that he would not go there, not for my sake, but for his sake. He didn't want his car to get damaged by protestors. I don't really care what the protests are about just that they are happening right next to New Life. I gave him the address of a university that is 30 seconds away so he knew where I was going.
My logic was if a taxista who's job depends on taking people from place to place is honest enough (for altruistic reasons or not) to refuse my service despite driving to my building to pick me up (not a roadside cab, which would've meant less) that means I'll play it safe.
All I was told was that there is a "protesta de comercios" or something like that. Someone posted a link here from a Colombian newspaper so seems to add up.
He told me the best he could do is drop me off somewhere east of the area or something. I don't remember exactly. Essentially, I didn't enjoy the idea of potentially stumbling into a Latin American protest scene trying to navigate the area. Being that it would be my first time I wanted to go door to door before trying to possibly use the metro to go to Parque Berrio and walk from there. For a vet who knows there way around the area that might be different, I suppose.
And I don't think that I look like a Colombian.
Maybe I'm just paranoid. But I'm a cautious person by nature and I'm there for quite a while, so I'll take my time and check the news and try out a few other venues first or perhaps go with a vet.

But I'm a cautious person by nature and I'm there for quite a while, so I'll take my time and check the news and try out a few other venues first or perhaps go with a vet.You absolutely made the right call to stay away!
Medellin is coming into a new age and the taxi drivers are really looking out for tourists there. However, Bogata is a complete 180.Thank god all the taxis are metered in Medellin, and yes I found the taxi drivers to be very helpful as well.

What you should have had was a backup plan, although I can't blame you for not anticipating protests and demonstrations. You could have told the taxista to take you to Energy or Abydos which is to the west of the river / autopista far away from the Centro hullabaloo.

In BAQ, and Lima they have no meters, and that is when the larceny starts. Now in MDE, and Costa Rica they have meters, and I have never had a problem in those spots. Only complaint I have with the MDE taxi drivers is a lot of them act like they know the location you want to go to, but they end up driving around asking other drivers for directions.

I don't know why taxi drivers getting lost would be an issue in 2015.

I don't know why taxi drivers getting lost would be an issue in 2015.Wrong. I followed along with my GPS while we went in the opposite direction of the mall I wanted to go to. Dude it's the other way. He insisted he knew the way and dropped us off at the big mall that is on the hill. Toro or something.
The average taxista in Colombia has a fifth grade education and can't even spell GPS. You could work out the entire route on your GPS before you got in the cab, speak excellent Spanish, and still not know what the best route was based on time of day, construction, labor protests, and so forth. And if you did, they would still claim they did not have change, give you counterfeit change, mysteriously break down right where their cousins lived and would rob you, and so forth. The idea of colombian taxistas as being "extremely helpful" as a few posters have recently said, makers me ROTFLMMFAO. Suerte with all of that.
Just wanted to add regarding the protests at Centro and taxistas. I do remember now on a previous trip, the first day I arrived there was a "No Mas Secuestros" (No More Kidnappings) manifestation at Centro, which kind of ruined my plans to hit that part of town earlier. Fortunately, I had other options.
So not all protests are potentially unsafe, that one obviously wasn't, but insane traffic jams (or total stoppage for that matter) and people density is definitely something I want to avoid when I'm on vacation!
Anyone who's down there now should be careful since the Copa America is going on. It's a lot of fun to watch a game with a bunch of friends in a home setting or maybe a venue in Poblado or Laureles but watch out in other areas, especially if the Colombian team wins. A kid was killed by a stray bullet in Medellin when the Colombians beat Brazil so just keep the game schedule in mind and assess carefully where you will be when the game is finishing. Not to scare anyone, there's some potential for fun when la selection wins but there is also potential for danger.
Met up with James Dandy and did a casa run. Nice guy. I had a great time. We visited quite a few casas and selected from two different casas. He knows centro very well. We started off quite early, a lot of places did not even have chicas in yet.
My impression is that the casa girls are above average, and great value. Its hard to remember names of places. Best to just either go with someone or use the map and hit as many places as you can.
It is pretty much 35 k /40 k half hour or 60/65 k full hour. They'll either have a board with the prices or you can just ask.
I forget the names of the two places I was in (apparently they change all the time), but if they are an indication, cleanliness is decent enough. Although, as you can imagine, the rooms are not exactly the Four Seasons.
And centro did not appear to be prohibitively dangerous. I don't think I would be afraid of walking there in the daytime.
I can see what people are talking about regarding the lineups passing you by. Hard to remember all the names. I like to employ a ranking system. Yes / No and then from there Better / Worse. Seems efficient enough for me. I just focus on the current winning name LOL and forget the rest.

Anyone who's down there now should be careful since the Copa America is going on..When does Copa America end?
When does Copa America end?Colombia plays Peru tomorrow (Sunday) at 3 pm. So don't be in a rough or unfamiliar part of town if and when they score a goal! After the game is over, it only seems to really matter when the team wins; people here get too depressed to run rampant, riot, and kill when the national team loses, LOL! Assuming Colombia wins tomorrow and goes ahead to the quarter-finals, you can follow the rest of the schedule on the Wikipedia article for the 2015 Copa America.

For those more adventurous and intending to follow Surfer500 into el centro, which is not a bad idea at all, when you are leaving airport MDE you can choose a bus that will take you to el centro or a bus that will take you to san diego. You just need to ask where the bus is going.

Once you load the city map (Just browse the city you are in, within the app) when you have Wifi, it caches the local info and you can use it without data. Just zoom in and zoom out and play with it. The more you play with it, the more details it will load. Once I give the taxi driver the destination, I tell him I have google maps on my phone. They won't argue when you try to redirect them.
If the destination is complex, load the path before you leave wifi zone, and you can even see the roads the taxi should be following.

I am always on alert as that is the only smart way to be but I find 80% of them to be friendly and 90% to be honest.

Well, let's ask Mama GOOGLE. The Final takes place on July 4th in Santiago de Chile.
By the way, today (Sunday, June 21st) Colombia plays against Peru at 4:00 pm..Hi Dr. C,
The game today actually starts at 2 PM Medellin Time. Don't miss it. Should be a good one.
If you have the GPS telling you what you also notice by looking out the window, I don't know why you wouldn't overrule the taxista and tell him to turn around and take you where you want to go. My practice is to use GPS if I'm not sure of the route and redirect the driver whenever he strays from the route. Sometimes I will juice up the volume (using the Spanish language announcements) so the driver hears it from an objective source and doesn't have to lose face. Another poster mentioned demonstrations and traffic are not reflected by his GPS. I recommend you upgrade to one of the many GPS apps that have real time traffic updates. My last advice on this subject is if none of this makes sense then it's probably best to get someone from the mansion to lead you around.
Wrong. I followed along with my GPS while we went in the opposite direction of the mall I wanted to go to. Dude it's the other way. He insisted he knew the way and dropped us off at the big mall that is on the hill. Toro or something.

Méxican and guatemalan taxistas get an above average rating as well. Chilean taxistas are efficient but not too friendly. I am a light consumer of taxis and a heavy consumer of public transit.
I agree with what you said about the Medellin taxistas. On the other hand, many locals will caution against flagging down random taxis on the street. In a pinch, it's a better option to get one from a taxi rank if you can't call one by phone. It filters out some of the bad apples.

You just need to ask where the bus is going.Adding to your info, when you exit the airport arrival door, turn right past all the taxis and you will see a bus or buses about 150 meters away. Both bus routes take you into el centro and their office behind the nutibara hotel, the difference being one takes the autopisto route and enters the city from the north, the other one going the las palmas route and entering the city between el centro and el poblado, the drivers call the routes autopisto and las palmas.

I am a light consumer of taxis and a heavy consumer of public transit. While in Colombia, the best taxitas are MDE IMO. Baranquilla is so so so as well and on par with Santa Marta. However, Bogota is a complete BS. These guys try to rip you off in any direction so practicing to have exact fare and asking before getting into the cab is a good practice. I had one taxi driver dish out some BS while I was going to the airport in Bogota and quoted me $15 even though it was 10 minutes away. Yes, USD. Didn't have time to argue because I was running late for a plane. Its also good practice to point out how much you are giving them making sure they and you see the markings on the bill as they will switch bills to say you gave them the wrong bill. Happened to a buddy. Another scam was to say I gave them a fake bill, told that was bull as I just got those from a bank and we can call the police if they want to argue. I would take photos of the bills if they are large ones before handing them to anyone, in case if there are any questions. This shows the time and date I took these show it to the officers and guess what, I don't pay the fare. LOL. Yeah I agree there are those who try and rip you off. Now back to MDE, in my experience of living there for 3 months and using the taxistas there, not once have any tried to rip me off. Yes, they think there is a better route even if having GPS on but I show them and they just tell me to pay them a certain amount below what the fare says. At some times they get lost and the driver tells me sorry and says to only pay 5000 pesos even when the meter says 12000. Another example is when I pay them say the fare was 8000 pesos and I hand the a 10000 pesos, most expect the 8000 pesos as most latin countries don't tip. Guys says to me too much and I told him it was ok, it was a tip. Not once have I been I ripped off, keep in mind that I take the cab 4 x a day for those 90 days and use a different taxi each time. On Mexico, yes, in general it has been a good experience, from Porta Vallarta, Leon, Cancun, Mexico City, Hermosillo has been good. But the Border towns like Tijuana, you can forget about it, these guys try and rip you off any way possible. I try to make sure I aways tell them 50 pesos if not and you get in a cab, they want 100 or $8-$9 even though you can walk to the border (I don't' suggest that at night). As for CR, Panama, can't' say too much as I've only taken these to and from airport to hotel. Chili is on my list so can't give my opinion or observation till then.
Yeah, well, in MDE I had a cab driver switch out a fake bill and then call the cops. I had another one give me counterfeit change that I discovered the next day. And that is out of about ten total cab rides!

He said it was counterfeit, and that he is supposed to do that. I was very pissed off. I told him if the bill was counterfeit or not he should have returned it to me intact. I was so steamed up that the two amigos with me had to calm me down as I was getting loud.
The only good thing about being in my home town is I don't have to be on guard for all the different scams that are in Latin America while mongering. Of course no beautiful women will look at me at home so I'll pay the price to be on guard.

Have to wonder if some of these taxi experiences are just bad luck. Or something else to it (like one's attitude, on occasion). I have been going to Colombia for year. Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena primarily. I was married to a Colombiana for 9 years, so went to Bogota at least twice a year (and much more often before we got married).
I can count the number of taxi issues on one hand. I had a real bad experience with some taxi guys my first time (ever) in Colombia. Cartagena. Got ripped off, but partially my fault for being naive at the time and not wanting to cause a scene. The only other time was in Bogota when the guy turned the meter off before we could look at it. And we over-payed by a few thousand pesos. Worse thing was that my Colombian wife was with me, so it's not just us gringos who have to be careful. She was livid.
Overall, I've found the taxi guys to be quite polite, often talkative (although my Spanish is not good enough to understand all they say). I like the MDE taxis because you can see the amount in COP on the meters. In Bogota, you take the number off the meter and use a chart to convert into COP.
Given that I know Medellin and Bogota pretty well, I don't recall ever getting the run-around (being driven out of the way to increase the fare); in fact, when a taxi driver has taken a different way, he usually explains why first (such as traffic jam on the autopista).
As far as I know, I've never gotten any fake bills. And I haven't been accused of giving any fake bills.
Only complaint I have is that some drivers drive like maniacs. And some taxis need new shocks! I'm tall, so my head is already close to the ceiling (even when I scrunch down), so hitting pot holes with bad shocks is a problem for me.

Have to wonder if some of these taxi experiences are just bad luck. Or something else to it (like one's attitude, on occasion). I In Medellíand I find the most cordial and professional Taxis from Colombia. Bogotá is the worst. It's the paisa culture of representing the best of themselves before others.
That being said, always check the meter before you start your journey and SPEAK UP if something is unusual: starting meter is higher than it should be or is turned off.

You just need to ask where the bus is going.I actually on my last trip had two other Tijuana street dogs with me so we each forked out 20,000 Pesos each or $ 8 each to take a taxi into El Centro. One of the drawbacks of the bus is that it's easy to get sick with all the turns going down the mountain from the airport.

That being said, always check the meter before you start your journey and SPEAK UP if something is unusual: starting meter is higher than it should be or is turned off.As a footnote, the starting fare is 2,700 Pesos for all taxis in Medellin unless your going to the airport which is set at 60,000 Pesos.
Yeah, well, in MDE I had a cab driver switch out a fake bill and then call the cops. I had another one give me counterfeit change that I discovered the next day. And that is out of about ten total cab rides!I always try to carry enough small bills, etc. So that I can give the driver exact change or something close so I only end up with coins. Also, sometimes a driver may say they don't have change or at least say they don't, hence another reason to carry lots of small bills with you to avoid that situation.
Yeah, well, in MDE I had a cab driver switch out a fake bill and then call the cops. I had another one give me counterfeit change that I discovered the next day. And that is out of about ten total cab rides!I try to always carry exact change and my fares are fairly light to and from. I've been lucky I guess but that does not stop me from dropping my guard. Like I said, on large bills, I always take a photo copy before handing it over to the cab driver and I make sure they see the denomination. Now if it was bogus, you can compare what he has and what picture you took on your phone. If he did switch, you can use that against him and show the officer and he will have to explain to them what is going on. Like I said before, Medellin is in a new era and in general the people are trying to show their best forward. I know there are a few bad apples so I can't hold it against an entire city. Going forward, try to give as close as possible the exact fare, this will help minimize any counterfeits. Best of luck.

Best of luck.Well, this was in 2008 so we really did not have the same technology that you refer to. It's true I should have had closer to exact change but it was one of those things where it was a sperm of the moment trip in the first place and I dashed out to meet a buddy without having time to fully prepare. No cab was required in the initial plan but then my wing man got really drunk so things did not work out as originally planned.

I am a light consumer of taxis and a heavy consumer of public transit.I respect your opinion (no sarcasm). You are as well travelled as I am or may be more. I represent the other end of the spectrum though. I exclusively use taxis in all countries and I have never used public transport in north or South America.
Interesting thing about fake bills. I asked a friendly middle aged taxista about it once. He said (I am paraphrasing him), " taxis deal almost exclusively with cash. We don't print those bills and we end up with them ourselves. We can't take them to a bank because we have to deal with police and legal system and we can't afford the hassle for a 10 or 20,000 peso bill. I am sure some taxi drivers try to pass them off to tourists since they are less likely to recognize".
Use Easy taxi app and you can even have your CC info in there. Works like a charm. Just tip the guy in cash. Don't have to worry about fake bills or having exact change. He he.
One time in Mayorista I gave the waiter a 20 K note, and he came back with the bill torn in half. He said it was counterfeit, and that he is supposed to do that. I was very pissed off. The only good thing about being in my home town is I don't have to be on guard for all the different scams that are in Latin America while mongering. Of course no beautiful women will look at me at home so I'll pay the price to be on guard. Here is a subject we all use but don't discuss much. The currency in MDE has a large percentage counterfeit bills floating around. This subject came up in my spanish class from my instructor who touched on this. Based on his estimates, there are about 1/3 of all bills you get will be bogus. To help minimize this, he advises to withdraw money from a ATM at a bank. Reason for this is you have a copy of the receipt slip and the money there. Go inside and asks the bank teller that you just withdrew this amount and it came out of the ATM. Now the question is, How do you spot a fake? From what I was informed, if the money "bleeds", I mean the ink stains a white sheet of paper, than this is real. Not sure if I got that backwards. He says to normally check the higher denominations as these are what is most replicated. The other question is, what about the lower denominations? I'm sure we all are using cash for our fun times while in MDE so what can we do help each other avoid this? I know there are plenty of scams that can be used on us visitors as we do not know what the difference is unless someone shows us. Other tricks I have used while in Bogota was to take pics of my money and making sure the person your handing it to and you both see the denomination so there is no switch a roo. As for they stating its a fake, I make sure the serial numbers match my pic.
Go to a shopping mall or something and make sure to start collecting bills in all denominations. I just used a 50 k note at a grocery store in Poblado and the cashier lifted it to check it (the bill obviously was fine because I took it out from an ATM).
Essentially, there is no point to carry 50 k notes other than for convenience, of which there is little other than saving you from carrying a lot of bills. Try to accumulate as many 1 k, 5 k, 10 k notes as you can. Simple common sense.
Estimate the costs of the various things you are going to do when you head out and make sure you have the necessary bills to not have to deal with changing.
The best notes are 5 k notes, because even if the taxi "doesn't have change" (cough, cough) for a 8 k fare, or 13 k fare, you're still only losing 2 k, which is less than $1.
Plus, after rounding up, minimum cab fares are about 5k, so makes sense to have lots of those in your wallet.
Good day Gentlemen.
Posting for the first time on Medellin thread.
About Me. Mongering worldwide since the early 90's and live full time in South America. However, this is my first visit to Medellin and my first report ever here. If this matters, I have posted before on Cali and Barranquilla threads.
Today, I did a survey of 5 famed casas of Medellin. Here are my views:
Casa 1 - Newlife. Location - Calle 56 , No. 43-39 - Blue colored gate.
Arrived around 12 noon on Monday afternoon - 22 June. Sat on the sofa. About 10-12 girls were presented. I tried very hard to like at least one of them. But did not like even one of them. I saw the presentations at least three times. And each time, I did not feel attraction to any of the girls. None of them were above 6/10. One or two did have sexy bodies but the expression on their faces was unwelcoming that I shuddered to think, with how much disdain they will treat me, once inside the room.
However, the presenter, a old man was friendly. He never pressurized me to buy a drink or take a chica or hassled me. Full marks to him for that. While I was there, I saw a group of mongers (possibly from here) and take chicas immediately, as they were presented. Apparently, not everyone has same idea of beauty or attraction (Beauty does indeed lie in the eyes of the beholder).
Casa 2 - Zandaly. Location - Carrera 47, No 57 A 34.
Arrived around 1245 or 1 pm on Monday afternoon. Around 6 or 7 chicas were presented. The selection here was worse than New life. Like 5/10's. The girls again looked totally disinterested and with sullen faces. I chose to split from here as well.
To credit of this casa, no pressure was put on me to buy a drink or pay for presentation or take a chica. I was out in 15 minutes.
Casa 3 - Hotel Balcones de Cuba. Location- Carrera 47, No 59-14 - Go to reception and then go to 3 Road floor.
Arrived around 1330 on Monday afternoon. About 5-6 girls were presented. (each girl already had her own room- and popped out of their rooms to say Hi and popped in back and slammed shut the door on my face). As compared to the two casas as described above, the girls here, looked the most sullen and disinterested in their work. No smiles. No trying to entice the client. No "Welcome" body language. The presenter here was not too friendly. Some body builder type hulky Colombian. I politely told him I am not interested and he told me then I can leave.
No pressure put on me to take a girl or pay any money for a drink etc. I was out of here in 6-7 minutes.
Note. I did not take down notes on prices. But it was approximately 3 o or 35 k for 30 minutes and 60-70 K for 1 hour.
Casa 4 - Masajes de Sexi. Carrera 45 the 57-67.
I tried very hard to search for this place but I could not find any house number with 57-67 on this street. There was a 57-77. Maybe I got the address wrong? I asked a street urchin and he smiled at me and he said lot of foreigners come looking for the very same address and all seem to be lost like me!
By now, I was like. This is not getting me anywhere. I need to fuck soon. So I headed for:
Thai Massage. Location - Carrera 81 A No 30 AA-30 - Near Moulin Commercial.
I arrived here around 2.15 pm. First met the pretty looking manager. I would have liked to do her. But I guess she was not avbl.
Anyway. This place is one BIG sham.
Prices - 120 K. Covered Blowjob (time not specified) ; 130 K- Half hour massage / BJ. No sex or sex (not sure) ; 160 k (sex, BJ, Massage 1 hour) ; Use of Jacuzzi - 50 K more.
Sex with anal for 1 HR - 300 K. There were some other upsells which I forgot.
Girls - 5 girls were presented to me (total of 6 work here). Frankly speaking and I know you will find it hard to digest or believe me but I did not find the quality of looks any better than what I had seen at Newlife earlier in the day. Of course, the presentation was unique. The girls were fully clothed. The girls had individual numbers pinned on their shirts. The girls come and remove their clothes and show their body in bra and panty. The girls come in individually and also in a group so you can compare. Amongst the 5 girls shown, 2 looked better than the other three. Amongst the two, I chose, the more friendly one, who was smiling and looked very sweet. She wore very nice / smart clothes and with clothes on. She looked 7. 5/10. (when I saw her naked she looked 6/10).
The flaw. And why I will not recommend this place to any other monger.
The girls attitude changed as soon as I was disrobed and finished my shower (the shower is compulsory. Even if water is cold). She said absolutely zero kissing. She said our lips can not touch, no matter what. Its a policy of the place. And even if I offered a propina. Even then- No kissing. That really turned me off. The so called Thai massage was just she touching my body with her hands. There was zero pressure applied. The so called 'Sex massage' was her lying on my back and touching her breasts to my back for 2-3 minutes. The so called blow job. Very mechanical with condom. She tried very hard to give me a hand job and make me cum ASAP. But I am too experienced for that. She gave me a 2 minute blowjob and soon was tired. I asked her if she can blow me without condom? She asked me for a propina of 150 k! (So after paying 160 K- I needed to add another 150 K to get a BBBJ). I declined. The sex was very poor as she was acting as if she was really turned on by me. It actually turned me off even more.
I just got up and said, I am leaving as I can not take this anymore. I decided not to cum just for heck and practice 'sperm management'. So she gave a lecture on 'safe sex' and that I am crazy to ask for BBBJ and I am a irresponsible and who wants to spread AIDS to innocent people. And I need to be ashamed of myself. Then she said. No working girl will give a kiss in Colombia and I should understand that kissing is only between true lovers and not between a prostitute and a client! As I was dressing, she banged the door of the room and left.
I went down and as I was leaving the manager (a guy wearing a smart suit and looking more European than Colombian) claimed to be the manager. He did give me a hearing but offered no excuses and said that you should have asked them or the chica if kissing was on the menu or not. He again said to me that no working girl sucks without a condom in Colombia or kisses a client. (I thought to myself. KISS my ass). And left.
Most Importantly. If one does not take a girl, they charge 20000 pesos just for sighting girls. And you get a free beer for that 20000 pesos.
Final Verdict. This place is for those who want to imagine that they are getting to fuck some really hot clean girl in a superior surroundings. When in reality its the same old thing in a better package and offering zero pleasure. I suggest to avoid this place.
I guess. I will try internet girls and maybe go to some more different casas. But overall disappointed with the casa scene. I was at Parque Lleras on Saturday night. Midnight and saw at least 15 doable non pro girls with their friends. So its not that I am oblivious to the beauty of Paisas but I did not see that beauty in any of the casas I visited. I remember sighting some wonderful looking Paisas (working girls) in my time at Cartagena and thought to myself that in Medellin there will be a plethora of them in every nook and corner avbl. But that is not the case. As one monger said, the hot looking girls won't be working for 60 k a hour in the casas. No way! You were right, mate.
Apologies in advance, if my personal opinion, based on my personal experiences today, about the famed casas of Medellin, offends anyone.
Good day Gentlemen,
Here is my review of hotel basis 48 hours spent here.
Address. Hotel Nutibara, Calle 53, Medellín, Antioquia* Its very famous. Every taxi driver knows it. No problem. Just tell them the name of this hotel*. Another advantage. The bus starting from the airport (cost 9000 pesos) and terminates (last stop) at Hotel Nutibara!
Price per night - 37 usd / night.
Quality of sleep. Very good.
Hot water. Available in abundance.
Internet. S0 / so. Half the time seems to be down. I purchased a Tigo sim card with data for 18000 pesos (for 600 MB data) and then used my phone as a hot spot. This worked better than the hotel's WiFi.
Gadgets. The room has a fridge, a safe, chairs etc.
Missing. No writing desk, no plug points to charge gadgets. One has to plug in underneath bed to one of spots where the bed lamp is plugged.
Noise. Only of the passing metro. None from the street. And in the morning from the cleaning staff who seem to be impatient to enter the room to clean.
Security inside the room. Very good.
Breakfast. Very poor. Stops at 0830 and the guy serving is hostile.
Security outside the hotel. I walked outside my hotel twice or thrice in day and night. I seemed to do OK. But when in taxi I passed some dodgy looking streets very close to my hotel. When walking, maybe I just avoided dodgy streets.
Eating options - 2-3 restaurants, plus ATM machine available within the building premises. On Sunday, these restaurants are closed and one is at a disadvantage as their are no restaurants nearby within walking distance.
Taxis. I went to Parque lleras and Santa fe mall from my (this) hotel. It cost around 10000 pesos one way (4 usd). Not expensive at all.
Metro. Yet to use.
Guest Policy. I asked the manager. He never refused me but I talked to couple of internet chicas. They refused to come here as they said that this hotel is a problem for guests (mainly working girls). Not real guests. I did not test the hotel on this as yet as I did not want my mood to be spoiled.
Overall, its a good option for a budget hotel in El centro. No cockroaches. Hot water. Clean bed. Clean room. Bad internet. Bringing girls is a problem.
Hope this helps.
On my way to centro today, cab fare was 9500. Gave the guy 10000, intending for him to keep the change. Tells me not to get out until he hands me a 500 peso coin. This was a cab my building called for me. Take from that what you will.
Did my first casa run solo today. Had a date in centro, chose to checkout some casas before my date. Happened to pass by the casa next door to Hotel Premium Plaza. Only had time for a 30 minute session but only 3 chicas presented themselves, all fat and ugly. Passed on that. I had no time so walked from there to where my date was. Shame, because I was intending on hitting Zandaly's where I had been before. From what I remember, on Saturday the lineup at the casa by Hotel Premium Plaza was also subpar too.
After the date, got lost a bit, wandered around, passed through a really shitty part of centro where people were destitute lying on the ground, drug addicts walking around. Got the hell out of there, asked some cops for directions, and wound up at Botero plaza.
Checked out Bar Conejitas. Went inside (was about 3:30). Colombians drinking beer. Probably the only gringo. A couple of girls came over to sit by me and rub my leg and get me to go with them. Wasn't interested. I guess it is super obvious that I am a gringo because there first question is "de donde vienes" LOL. Finished my beer and left.
Bar Conejitas is essentially across the street from Botero Plaza, as reported. Very easy to get to and very safe as another poster mentioned. But I dislike bad lighting and loud music when I just want to relax and select a chica. Because I did not select at Conejitas I did not inquire into prices.
Got lost again. Asked more cops for directions. Finally found my way back to Oriental. Touts were handing out business cards for casas. Walked by Kamasutra first so I decided to enter. About 5 girls presented themselves, all terrible besides for one which I really liked. Selected her.
Kamasutra options are 38 k for 30 minutes or 60 k for hour. Chose the 60 k option as I was tired, liked the girl and just wanted to go home afterwards. Finished and got the bus. You have to walk a little bit down Oriental from Kamasutras to get the bus to Poblado. Bus is basically as fast as a taxi and cheaper. Got help finding the bus from a cute Colombiana going to Poblado too but was too tired by then to do anything. I was lucky at Kamasutra that I liked one of the chicas because there is a 3 k viewing fee. Most likely I will not repeat there.
TIP FOR NEWBIES: use avenida Oriental to orient yourself (pardon the pun). I think during the daytime it is perfectly safe to be anywhere along Avenida Oriental. Also, no need to take a cab if you are staying in Poblado close to Avenida Poblado. Avenida Poblado turns into Avenida Oriental by the time you reach centro. A bus will be 1800 peso versus approximately 10 k peso. Also the bus will drop you off right by Kamasutras.
Keep in mind where Avenida Oriental is as you wander into the smaller streets of Centro. If you feel anything suspicious or scared you can always walk quickly back to Oriental and restart. There are like 5-6 casas that are only about 1-2 blocks off of Oriente. Again, consult the map.
Just using Google Maps and Map of Casas in Centro is not enough. You have to get a feel personally for the Carrera / Calle system. Also, if you need a little help finding a place I think you can safely trust a tout handing out casa business cards to direct you there. But someone can correct me if I am wrong on that.
In general, the more time I spend in centro the more I find that it is not particularly dangerous. The dangerous area on the wrong side of the tracks of Berrio is quite bad with druggies and destitute people and overall filth and third-worldliness. But if you walk quickly through it there shouldn't be much to worry about during the daytime. At night it is probably a different issue.
I know nobody cares, but I'm watching the Women's World Cup on TV at home here in Calif. Score 0-0 at halftime. Its the USA vs. Colombia. A lot of cute looking ladies on the Colombian side, but I guess that would be sexist. The announcer seems surprised at the lack of scoring in the first half, but its been a defensive struggle. We will see who wins this match.
Here are my views: ...
Apologies in advance, if my personal opinion, based on my personal experiences today, about the famed casas of Medellin, offends anyone. You should try Energy. Take a look at the casa map created by Member #4394. The casa scene in centro is for the budget conscious and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are many cute, "diamonds in the rouh" to be found there. You might need to knock on a lot of doors. Take a look at Fusion (casa) as well. I always find someone worthwhile there.
I am not sure what you mean by internet girls but you can find many Mansion regulars on Facebook and you can message them to ask for a date. 150 K is the going rate.

An ATM is not going to issue fake bills. The ATM scanning technology is pretty advanced. A counterfeiter would not only have to get the ink design perfect, they'd also have to get the reflectivity of the ink correct as well getting the opacity of the paper correct. Basically, the ATM shines light at and through the bill. Light sensors on both sides measure the amount of light that shines through the bill and how much light reflects off the bill. The ink design in combination with the light opacity / reflectivity test produces something referred to as an "S-curve. " If this isn't exactly right, the ATM discards the bill into a "discard bin" in lieu of dispensing the bill to you. This is incidentally how the ATM never miscounts bills. In other words, this is the way that the ATM knows if two bills got stuck together (wrong opacity). If the ATM spit out a bill, you can pretty much rest assured that the bill is not fake.
This happens to be the same test that the coke machines use which is why you won't ever be successful feeding zeroxed dollar bills to vending machines. The technology is advanced enough now that you'd be much better off pursuing other scams and thefts because the effort involved in successfully fooling these machines would be quite enormous. You'd actually be better off physically attacking the vending machines than trying to fool their money-scanner technology. Of course, most vending machines these days are armored pretty tough with all kinds of anti-theft technology that makes theft of these machines a pretty intensive operation.
Yup, we'd all better off sticking to our day jobs.

I am curious though about your experience in Parque LLeras. I was there about three weeks ago on a Saturday night around midnight and noticed some doable girls with their friends some of which came up to me and asked me if I was interested in having sex with them, while others in pairs and groups who where looking at me and waiting to be approached. I was also approached by vendors asking if I needed anything from drugs to girls as well. There is mixture of pros, semi-pros, and girls looking for affluent gringos / others to buy them drinks, etc in Parque Lleras and I plan to explore it more next weekend. If I don't have any luck I'll be in El Centro with my 20,000 peso girls!

Yup, we'd all better off sticking to our day jobs.A while back a BM (don't remember which board exactly) claimed an ATM give him a fake bill. His claim was that from the time he spent the bill he didn't do anything but get the money from the ATM.

Two years ago, I got a counterfeit 50 k bill from the Citibank on Poblado. Only happened once in many visits, but it happened nevertheless.

Gentlemen, I found some information that I was looking for. Here is the link and article. . http://www.medellinliving.com/colomb...hanging-money/.
Avoiding Counterfeits.
Don't ever change your money on the street in Colombia, as counterfeit money is common. The best way to get the local currency is through an ATM.
I have received three counterfeit bills over the eight years I have been traveling to Colombia, including living over three years in Medellíand.
Two of the counterfeits I received were 20,000 peso notes given in change, which I luckily caught both times, as the counterfeits weren't that good. So I exchanged the fakes for real bills. This happened once in a bar in Cartagena and once in a small shop in Medellíand.
The other was a counterfeit 50,000-peso note that I received from either an ATM or money exchange place in Medellíand. I used both one day so I am not sure from which I received the counterfeit. I normally don't check the bills received from an ATM machine or money exchange place, so I didn't catch this until later.
The most common counterfeit notes in Colombia are the 20,000 peso and 50,000 peso notes. There have also been some counterfeit 1,000 peso coins the new version of the coins. A guide to the new Colombian coins (in Spanish) is found here.
One of the easiest ways to check to see if a Colombian bill is real is to rub it against a piece of paper. If some ink rubs off, it likely isn't a counterfeit. I see clerks in stores do this frequently.
You can also tell by the feel of the bills. Genuine bills have some texture to them and the three counterfeits I encountered didn't have texture.
On a genuine 50,000 peso note, if you look at the large 50 on the front of the bill at angles it changes color. On the counterfeit I received it didn't change color.
On a genuine 20,000 peso note, if you look at the hexagon on the front of the bill at angles it changes color. On the two counterfeits I received the hexagon didn't change color.
On a genuine 50,000 peso note there is a "50 MIL" watermark under "Colombia" on the front of the bill. On the counterfeit I received there was an attempt to copy the watermark but it didn't look the same.
Colombian bills use a number of security features. A complete list of the security features of Colombian bills in circulation can be found on the Banco de la República website (in Spanish).
Until recently, Colombia was the top producer of counterfeit USA Bills but that distinction now reportedly goes to Peru. So also be sure to check any USA Bills you receive while in Colombia.

Apologies in advance, if my personal opinion, based on my personal experiences today, about the famed casas of Medellin, offends anyone. Thanks for the review. At these casas you can't expect too much for 30 k-35 k (about $14 USD). They are very hit or miss in terms of looks. BBBJ can be had for free sometimes or 10-20 k tip. Kissing is rare. For better girls you might want to check out Energy or Abydos. The prices are a bit more. Around 120 k for the hour. Of course the tips for BBBJ might be more too. What a lot of guys are looking for is the diamond in the rough that have not been too hardened with gringos yet and invite them back to their place for more time.

The ATMs are loaded manually by employees and there are no checks there. So, you can get fake bills from an ATM.I am not sure how Colombian banks work but wouldn't a teller. With so much experience handling money be able to tell a fake bill and reject it? Don't they also have machines that checks the bills when you deposit? Unless a bank employee was doing it intentionally, how many times can he possibly get away with it? I doubt the bank would intentionally do it, because after a couple of times, there would be so many complaints that I am sure there would be a government investigation into the bank.
You take advantage of the best available opportunities and move on to the old standby when the odds aren't favorable. That is the way to roll.

What do you do? No money, no other asset, need tickets to the show and gas to the next show.
What do you do? You sell the fake acid and kick it down the line.
Same shit. You pull a fake bill you pass it down the line. The problem existed before you and will be there after you.
Pass the bill and move on. Either that or eat the $18 USD.

I've been going to MDE since 2009. For Mansion and former Mansion girls, I have accepted the 150 k COP for ST, and 300 k COP price for TLN. I have been doing TLN with a certain favorita of mine for 300 COP for 3-4 years now. However, as I started to communicate with her in preparation for my trip next week, she told me the TLN price is now 400 COP.
I haven't acknowledged or reacted to that bit of news, yet. But my initial reaction was "what gives?
But then I started thinking, the peso is a lot weaker than it used to be. I recall trips were I got as little as 1,780 to the dollar, and others were I felt lucky that I came down when it was 2,240 to the dollar. I generally figured it was easier to keep things square in my head thinking 2,000 = $1, and was disappointed when it was less, elated when it was a little more.
If I go down there next week and get more than 2,500 cop, I guess it is keeping with the 25% devaluation.
What say the hive?

What say the hive?Although the dollar is strong, yes this is a problem for trade / commerce on the international market, but for the average Colombian the buying power of their peso buys about the same as it did last year. What gives?
The Tall Man.
The relevant factor is not the exchange rate between the peso and the dollar, because chicas aren't spending dollars. The relevant factor is, or at least should be, the rate of peso inflation.
Edited to say that Tall Man posted while I was composing my post. We are saying the same thing, I think.

Inflation appears to be running around 4% on an annualized basis and looks to be heating up a bit. But overall, it's been pretty moderate by Latin American standards. Might be time to find some new favoritas.

What say the hive?From 300 K to 400 K adds up to a 33 1/3 % increase. Seems a little steep to me.
I remember when in the past it went from 2000 pesos per dollar to 1800,and no one lowered their prices to make up for the more money the tourist had to spend for the same service.
I see another poster says the inflation rate is around 4% in Colombia. Myself I would look for greener pastures. Don't be surprised if your Favorita sees the light when you decide to look else where for your sleep in partner.

Agree with John Gault. Chicas don't get better with age or familiarity. If anything there should be a declining scale over the years.
Just my unsolicited two cents.

From 300 K to 400 K adds up to a 33 1/3 % increase.

RtW.I agree with you. However, this one provides a lot of extras I like.

I agree with you. However, this one provides a lot of extras I like. When you go thru all the pain in the butt of the airports, and the expense of the airfare I guess then your main concern should be on making yourself happy on your trip. A lot of the extras you like is always a good thing.

I agree with you. However, this one provides a lot of extras I like.Sounds like you've already made up your mind. If you thought she was worth 200-300% more than the going rate in Medellin over the last few years, what's an extra 33% now? To each his own. No doubt there is price inflation in everything, then again, she hasn't somehow had less kids over the last few years or gotten any tighter, so there is the depreciation aspect to consider. On top of that, the fact she's addressing price before you get here means you're not much more than a ticket. Nothing wrong with that because we all want something, just as long as you're seeing straight.
Personally, I have never met a girl I wanted to fuck more after 4 years than I did when I lusted for her in the beginning, so for me the decision is easy, wouldn't even do her for half price after all this time. It's not like she is the only one that does a special service, perhaps you're just taking the easy way out? Again, nothing wrong with taking the easy way but then price has to be a secondary issue not to worry about.
I agree with you. However, this one provides a lot of extras I like.I don't really get the concept of "extras" with a chica that one has been seeing for a long time. Often, this is code for BBFS. But the ones I stay with for a long time do what I want, and that's why they stick around, and I don't view it as "extras. " If I am interested in a long term thing, I tell them what they need to do to stick around, and they either do it or they don't stick around. They do get raises commensurate with inflation, seniority, and consistent performance, but I decide when to give them. If they ask for an increase, that is one thing (although they never do), but if they "inform" me of an increase, they are gone like a cool breeze.

If one was ballsy enough to "inform" me of 100 k increase, I wouldn't even give her the courtesy of a response. The seller doesn't unilaterally dictate price. There are hot girls all over Colombia and South America who aren't even aware of the exchange rate. The only thing that matters to them is what their food and clothes and transportation cost and that hasn't changed significantly.
As recently as April of this year I had one of the better Mansion girls (IMO) stay TLN for 150 K plus taxi and breakfast in the Morning. And gave me excellent service and wanted to come back again. And no I don't look like George Clooney.
Do you guys think the girls will ask for less (in pesos) if the exchange rate goes back down to 1800-2000?
No wonder the veterans are resistant to reporting on new venues.
The OP did state that he has not responded, and seemed serious. BTW I concur with the British guy that the private apartments / casas leave a lot to be desired compared to other parts of the world.

The relevant factor is not the exchange rate between the peso and the dollar, because chicas aren't spending dollars. The relevant factor is, or at least should be, the rate of peso inflation.
Edited to say that Tall Man posted while I was composing my post. We are saying the same thing, I think. And you better be careful paying those prices because when the rate swings back the other way do you think they are going to lower the prices? No. You will just be fucked in a way that you did not intend to be.
In my opinion, when mongering in any country that does not use the dollar, do not use the dollar, mention the dollar, talk about the dollar, or think about the dollar when dealing with hookers. Have an idea of the salaries and prices being paid in the local currency and base your transactions on that.
And you better be careful paying those prices because when the rate swings back the other way do you think they are going to lower the prices? No. You will just be fucked in a way that you did not intend to be.I've been an active poster on Tijuana threads and this has always been a topic. What started out as $40 went to $60 to $80 as a norm as of today. I started going to Tijuana back about 6 yrs on a frequent basis and it was 40/50 now, easy $80. Yes, there are still some $60's like Adilitas but HK the standard is $80. Once guys agree and start paying this much the girls in demand will feel that they deserve the higher amount. Yes, totally apples and oranges based on many factors but, in time, MDE will be a haven for new mongers and it will keep growing. And the new will pay the increase fees as they do not know how to get around and don't have the time to invest. Just a matter of time. The one big factor keeping this in check right now for those new waves of mongers is the logistics. But who knows how long that will be. There are already new Airlines creating new routes to MDE as of now. If MDE was a border town, prices would keep going up and soon the Demand will out weigh the supply. I'm just glad it hasn't happened yet. Another good example is Costa Rica. Look how that has changed in the past decade.

Britisher,
A very interesting perspective and read was for me your report. Thanks for sharing. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I always see beauty when I go to those casas you visited. I find it hard to believe that you checked the line ups of new life, zandale, balcones de Cuba and the high end spa all in one day and the girl's quality suck everywhere you went. No beauty in sight. Probably Medellin is not for you. You probably don't like Medellin women in general or you must be the most picky monger in ISG. From reading your post and no offense to you I'm glad I'm not that picky. I think I can fuck a broom if you put a wig and a hole and will find that broom pretty LOL. Keep trying to find what you looking for and keep on posting. Cerebro.
Apparently, not everyone has same idea of beauty or attraction (Beauty does indeed lie in the eyes of the beholder)...

And you better be careful paying those prices because when the rate swings back the other way do you think they are going to lower the prices? No. You will just be fucked in a way that you did not intend to be.Good point. Another way to look at it is that for 400 K pesos one can have sex with 11 chicas in Medellin and still have money for 8 or 10 beers leftover! One of the choices is bound to get close to the special services the mansion chica is providing, and if they find out they can make half that 400 K, I'd wager the number of special services willing chicas would jump over 50%.
The reason most men monger is for variety, not to have a hooker as a girlfriend, so playing the odds above also provides 11 x more variety as a bonus while finding the next gem.
No doubt Medellin will eventually get ruined as a monger destination just like Costa Rica and other places, but as long as people are still paying triple for everything to stay hidden in places like the mansion, we probably still have a long way to go.
Good luck to all, play 'them like you see 'them!
Some people are really clueless. He clearly stated what he wanted, which was a chiropractor. The quality of the posters these days on the Colombian forum.Haha, I'm not sure if you are joking or being ironic, but you might have noticed that this was this guy's first post on the forum. Why come to an ISG thread to ask for a recommendation on a medical practitioner?
My response was a polite way of saying "this is not the place to ask your question" - particular if it is your post numero uno. Too many off-topic posts here that don't concern the main focus of the forum. Which is to get information on how to best get laid.
Chiropractors have nothing to do with sex unless he hurt his back during a sex act. In which case I suppose the two are then related.
Or, perhaps, he wanted the very interesting combo of happy ending + chiropractor. I think there is an episode of something like that in 2 and a half men.
Generally, ISG is not very well organized. E. g. , Medellin should have one thread for casa and casa reports, one thread for streetwalker reports, one thread for strip club reports etc. , one for hotels (already exists), one for travel announcements (exists) and one for miscellaneous, - so that a user can easily share and collect information.
A majority of the clientele in centro are not gringos, although I cannot be sure about statistics. Plus, I imagine that casa owners aren't exactly hooked to xe.com to examine historic trends in currency fluctuation.
Go on a weekday to a casa in centro. They might have very few customers the whole day. They should probably even lower the prices a little. Prices are probably as low as they can be because a chica takes only %50 or maybe less.
It also relates to supply and demand. It is easy to start a casa in centro, so the supply side is high. Lots of poor chicas in Medellin are looking for work in casas. What would happen if, say, New Life or some other casa raised their rates to 45 k short time, 80 k per hour? Other casas would be undercutting them and no one would go there anymore. There is an oversupply in that market.
If a casa raises their rates for a week and then gets burned by having an empty casa. All their chicas will leave and not come back and their reputation is ruined. Centro users are savvy bargain hunters because either a) they are Colombian and know centro; or b) use ISG and a casa map.
Casa owners know their business and are not going to risk that. And even if they did, their casa would go out of business and a new one would pop up to replace it. It just might not get onto the Casa Map as quick.
There would need to be monopolization of casas in centro or a huge upswing of gringo clients. I don't think either will happen.
For example, I myself was wary to go into centro before I got over that threshold. Most gringos probably are wary and don't come to MDE for that. But for classic places like Fase Dos. Most business travelers are probably extremely wary and, if they want a casa, go to somewhere more upscale.
Energy, for example, I have not been yet, but they have a website which mentions prices in USD and English (at a somewhat inaccurate rate and bad English). Which means, I assume, they get a lot of American clients. And they have no other casas nearby in nice areas. Their competition is maybe Abydos or Thai. Places that are already ripoffs. So they could, in theory, raise their prices. But that would also depend on their local clientele.

I am finally making my way back to Medellin, I can't wait to be there! I'm arriving tonight and staying for a couple of weeks. If anyone wants to grab a beer or hang out, pm me.
I have a few questions: has activity returned to Mayorista or is the Sw scene still concentrated in El Centro?
I know there are a lot of hotels in El Centro. Is there a decent one to stay in as a regular guest, not as a hot sheets hotel? Any recommendation is appreciated.
Last time in Medellin I stayed in El Stadio which was nice but boring. Then I switched to mayorista and had a lot more fun and didn't find it scary.
Where is the latest casa map? I did a search but couldn't find it.

For those of you who have reading comprehension problems I suggest you look at the index on the Colombia forum and you will find exactly what you are looking for. For those of you looking for where activity is taking place in Medellin, I suggest you do some reading of the Medellin thread. You will find the answers you are seeking.

My Time on Mars: A Memoir.
Chapter I.
The Entry.
It is May 12,2015 and I am trying to figure out how I can fit all these things into my checked bag. The bag I took to Colombia two years ago was not even half this size. How could I be bringing even more stuff this time? It is done I check, double check, a triple check my travel list. Everything I need is here, at some point I realize I forgot to put ChapStick on this list, but I can buy some in Medellin. My sister has agreed to give me a lift to the station. It is a beautiful spring day in Washington DC, a little warm though. She asks "Do you want a ride to the airport?" I am not sure, so I tell her to check the GPS. It says 40 minutes I believe, but I am not sure if I remember correctly. I tell my sister that I am kind of nervous, and she inquires about it. I tell her I am excited to be flying on a plane again after two year, and to be going to Medellin again after two years. But everything seems so surreal, like there is no way this is about to go down. It is on, and there is no stopping it now. It is done.
So we leave our house in S. E. DC. , down Suitland Parkway headed for Ronald Reagan National Airport. About 15 minutes later we realize the GPS took us half way across town just to travel a one minute distance. We miss a turn here; get confused there but eventually we are close to Reagan. I say "Your GPS is fucking retarded". Her snarky respond is "Well pull yours out. " This is fair play, just passive aggressive banter between two frustrated siblings. Finally we pass a bronze statue of Ronald Regan, my sister asks "he was a President right, was he good". The truth is I was born during the Clinton administration, and have not read much about the subject. I manage to say "Uh yes, but he was responsible for the war on drugs".
I get out and ask a Middle Eastern or Indian looking man if this is where I drop my bags off for JetBlue. He tells me to go inside and that there is not line. Check in with JetBlue is smooth; my flight to Fort Lauderdale has been delayed; which is good because I had a six hour layover anyway. That was unbelievable, how is it possible to go through TSA that fast. That was one thousand times faster than at Dulles. Ronald Regan is a great airport, although I do not have much experience to draw upon. I am waiting in the airport in Fort Lauderdale; it feels like I have been here all day.
I am surrounded by the Colombians that started trickling in about 3 hours ago, including one badass young petite yet thick enough chica that I spotted several hours ago. She was with a young Colombiano and a young girl of around one year. Then I heard it, three loud and obnoxious Americans in their late thirties. The roided up one said holding his phone "Dude look at her, yeah crazy tits and ass on all the girls where she is from, but in Medellin no". I hate Americans, loud and inconsiderate troglodytes. We were surrounded by Colombians leaving America with their passports in hand, waiting respectfully for the plane. And here are three Americans talking about Colombianas like they are at a slave auction, loud enough so that everyone could hear them. And the two smaller ones could do nothing but boast about how great their trip was going to be the whole plane ride. Fucking Americans. These women may fuck and get fucked like animals but they are human beings that deserve the same respect that they give us.
Upgrading to a front cabin Evenmorespace seat paid off because I was one of the first in line for immigration. I went through in a flash but had to wait quite a while for my bag. I had to put my bag through an extra x-ray. I had arranged an airport pickup, with Jimmy Giraldo. He did not show up, instead he sent someone else. They driver whizzed down the mountain like he was possessed, determined to save some damsel from a hungry dragon. I stopped at an ATM and also pickup three boxes of MK sildenafil, four 50 MG tablets each, $14,000 for all three boxes together. The guy could not find the apartment and started getting angry. Well I gave him the right address, so it is his job as a taxi to find it.
Chapter II.
The Setup.
We get to the apartment and no one is there. He calls the number on the wall and talks to someone in Spanish; we go around the corner to a small hotel. It is about 12:45 am local time. I give the guy the $70,000 he asked for with an extra $20,000, and I tell him to give me back $10,000. He then starts rambling on about how he took me here and there. This dirty fucking monkey. I wish I knew how to say give me back my fucking money before I beat your ass in Spanish, but I do not. I pay the full amount for the apartment to the woman and go to the room.
It is May 13,20015. I get about four hours of sleep, the next morning I am inquiring about the possibility of going to the apartment. It then occurs to me that the woman I gave the money to last night is one of the cleaning ladies. It hits me "oh fuck" I just gave $660,000 to a fucking cleaning lady, with no apartment. I am freaking out at this point, I gave my money away, I have no phone, and no internet. The two cleaning ladies keep talking to me in Spanish like I was born in Medellin. I do not understand a word they are saying. Later a young man that spoke some English, and that was staying in the room next to mine helped me get Wi-Fi. I use it to PM an ISG member; I franticly tell him my ordeal. By the time he wrote me back things were starting to look more legitimate, and I calmed down a little.
I had talked to the man from the apartment, he said it would be ready at 12:00 which later became 2:00 because "We had a problem with the bathroom in one of the apartments" he said. I had a chica coming to my apartment at 2:00 but I myself had yet to see my apartment. Through Facebook, I keep my girl posted. The wait is killing me; I cannot just sit here and wait for my apartment forever. I tell the cleaning lady that I am leaving and will be right back. I flag down a taxi, and head for a an ATM. I love my new Charles Schwab Debit card. After that I go with the same taxi to get some cheap food.
There was a chicken grill restaurant not too far from my apartment. I had chicken breast with beans and rice. The food was bland as is typical of Colombian cuisine but it was still good and met my need. Then I went and about a new sim card and put minutes on my Colombian cellphone. Back to the hotel I would head, the girl came soon after and we headed to the apartment. She expected me to walk there with this thirty pound duffle bag in my hand, fuck that I would rather pay $2 for a taxi. We get into the apartment and it is dirty and has not been cleaned at all. I thought the reason why I was waiting was because she was cleaning it, I guess that was a lie.
Chapter III.
Colombian Breast Milk.
So the Facebook chica is outside waiting in the cab, and I finally get the cleaning lady out of my apartment and go to the cab. The meter is showing over $18,000, I bring the girl up to my apartment. I tell her I need a shower and she can order food for herself. After my shower we are talking about different things, while waiting for her food. There is music playing in the background on my laptop. I give her the money for the food when it arrives, and she goes and gets it. We continue to talk while she is eating her food; I am surprised that I can have a conversation with this girl considering my Spanish is so bad. I do not consider my Spanish to be conversational.
After she finished her food we went into the bedroom and she started out with some head. It was good head with no condom. She gave good suction and was not quick to end the blowjob. Then I lay down on my back as the head continued. I went to suck on her titties; she said no and covered them with a smile. She said "Milk for baby" and I told her that I liked that. Even though I had never tasted breast milk, not since being a baby myself, I was eager to find out what it tasted like. So she took her hands away, and I started to suck and taste her milk. I have never tasted anything like this before; I have nothing to compare it to. It did not taste like milk. I immediately noticed that it was sweet, actually that is all I tasted was the milk's sweetness. It did not taste like sugar or honey; this was a unique sweetness unlike anything I have had previously.
We tried to start off in reverse cowgirl, but she had some difficulty adjusting to my size so we did cowgirl. We tried doggy after that but after one thrust she ran away, so we did missionary instead. This was a better position, and she eventually got used to my size and started to enjoy it. Between the 100 MG of Sildenafil and the condom I could not come. I got tired, and lie back down and let her continue sucking my dick. We talked a bit more, I paid her and she left. Later that night I meet up with a taxi I became friends with two years ago. I went to Exito to get food for my apartment but ended up mostly getting beverages.
It is May 14,2015. I invite over another chica from Facebook. I have some eggs and Doritos for breakfast. The chica is on time, she got there at about 10:00. I go take a shower, and she takes one after I do. We start with a bare back blowjob (BBBJ) that is really good lots of spit like I like it. Then after we get the condom on she gets on top, and I do not like it but we figure it out eventually. Then her cowgirl gets really good once we get a feel for each other. Then we transition to doggy, but I do not like the feeling of it so I go to missionary. She is really enjoying the missionary, and although she is a really small girl she does not seem to mind at all having 390 lb man on top of her.
I get tired after a while and ask if I can eat her out and she says yes. So I am eating her out and she seems to really be enjoying this, from my point of view she seems to have came. Then I lie down on my back, and get her to come and sit on my face. I continue to DATY and I think she came a second time. After more fucking and more sucking, we cuddle for a while. She gets dressed and I pay her, then she leaves.
Chapter IV.
Pizza and Pussy.
I arranged for another chica from Facebook to come over later that day around 7:00. She arrived on time and I got in the car with her. We went to a restaurant in Poblado, we sat in the back. It was a nice night, a little hot but no rain, actually it has not rained much since I have been here, which is the opposite of how it was last time. She ordered a glass of wine and I ordered a coke and we talked while the food was coming. And then we still talked while we were eating as well. I am starting to understand that as long as the person I am talking to speaks slowing and acknowledges the fact that I am not a native Spanish speaker; I can have a conversation with them.
The cost of dinner was $150,000; I believe the waiter had a taxi called for us. We headed back to my apartment and when in the bedroom I went to take a shower. But the water was off, I called the guy from the apartment and he said he would give me a call back but he never did. I tell the girl that I do not want to have sex if I do not take a shower, she smiles. We are lying in bed and she starts playing with my dick, and then starts sucking my dick. Alright we are in this now.
She is sucking my dick and doing a great job at it. Then she grabs one of my condoms from the television stand, I take the condom and tell her it is difficult to put on and put a drop of my lube in it. After I put a drop of lube in it she puts it on me. We start out with her on top in cowgirl, she is much heavier than the last two girls and it feels so good to have her bouncing up and down on my dick. We switch between cowgirl and reverse cowgirl, this is really good pussy.
We then transition to missionary and then things really start getting good. So she is sweating telling me how hot it is, and I am agreeing with her sweating heavily myself. And she is loving the dick, telling me how much she loves it and she wants it faster and harder and I oblige. We continue to fuck and sweat and do more fucking and more sweating. The condom comes off at some point and she starts sucking my dick again. Then I ask if I can suck her pussy and she agrees. She is enjoying it and I think she comes.
After eating her out for a while I come up and say to her "You don't want to have sex without a condom?" she says no and smiles. I can tell by her smile she wants to fuck me without a condom but will not say yes. So I start rubbing my dick on her clit, and she is moaning loving it, not a minute after she said no I stuck my dick in raw with no complaint from her. We then continued fucking and sweating some more. I started choking her at some point, she never asked me to or gave me any signals but somehow I knew I should, and she loved it. I even slapped her once, but not hard. Then I went and got some Gatorade out of the fridge and a bottle of water and we kept on fucking. I told her I could not come and she asked why and I told her I did not know. I told her that tomorrow I hope I will come in five minutes and she laughed. I paid her and she left.
It is May 15,2015. I invite the Facebook girl from last night back over to my apartment again. We arranged to meet at 12:00 but unfortunately Colombian time started to kick in. She messaged me on Facebook later saying that she thinks she will be at my apartment at 12:30. So far all the girls have been showing up on time, even a couple minutes early or so. And because of the incident with me getting into my apartment late I was the one that was late getting the first girl in. The chica shows up at 1:30, one and a half hours later that our originally scheduled time. We had sex in my apartment again, with no condom. The sex was great, but milder than the first time which I liked better anyway. I came this time though, the first time I came on this trip. I came in her pussy. This girl is really nice and friendly and gave me a great GFE. I never felt like I was treating her like a working girl, and her treating me like a dirty John. We had a great time in each other company and at the end money was involved.
Chapter V.
Las Amigas de Perico.
I call my trusted taxi driver and tell him to meet me at my apartment at 11:00 I think. Bad idea actually, nothing good happens at night. I should have stayed home and read the bible. I told him I wanted to go to El Centro, Avenida de Griffe. As we neared de Griffe you could see night clubs and many people out at night around the corner from de Griffe. He parked his car and we walked around and he gave me some space. It was Friday night so the place was packed and very loud in and out of the bars. It was all very interesting to see. There are many different women around there, different colors, shapes, sizes, and ages. I saw some old, old ass ladies. Some woman looked gay. I saw one masculine female, maybe she was there buying too. My driver and I went and sat in a bar and got two beers even though I do not drink.
I could not hear anything because it was so loud in there. One young Colombian guy was drunk as hell, crying and singing along with the music. I do not think he was aware that he was fist pumping. I sat backed and watched everything unfold, wondering what the fuck was I doing here. There were some ok looking women, but damn this is not my scene. After a while I leave, now I start to see several diamonds in the ruff, but there was plenty of ruff. Fuck! The diamonds are already talking to some Colombian guys. And five minutes later the girls are gone, oh well. I see another girl I follow I start talking to here in a bar, but it is so loud neither of us can really hear anything so she leaves. I stand outside surveying the scene and then walk around the corner.
I spot the same girl and start talking to her again, she asks for $70 k COP for one hour BBBJ. This girl is really hot and just my type but come on that is crazy. I think I negotiated to about 40 k or 50 k I do not remember which. She wanted to go to one of the hotels around there; in hindsight I think this may have been the first red flag. Room was $25 k. So we get in there and she starts sucking my dick while her body is blocking my view, so I cannot see that she is sucking it with a condom. I tell her to suck my dick without a condom and she nods telling me she is. What the fuck is this shit? Then she stops and pulling the condom off not letting me see it as if I am supposed to think she was sucking me raw.
I start fucking her and this chick is hot as hell, and just my type. I am starting to enjoy it even though she was unenthusiastic. Then someone knocks on the door, and she goes and answers it and I am upset because my dick was just in some pussy and now it is not. So apparently this is her friend and her friend wants to join for $40 k. I agree and give her $50 k because I do not have change and obviously I am never going to see that $10 k again. Ever! Let us now go over some more of my mistakes, I should have told the friend to go fuck herself and do not expect to get change back from a Colombian street hooker. The girl undresses and has a nice, big, presumably fake ass. She also had the Independiente Medellin logo as a trap stamp, it figures. Then the girls start doing coke in front of me and ask if I want some and I decline. So I start fucking the friend and she actually has some good pussy, better than the first girl.
Later we all get dress and I get out of there and I am pissed off about the whole situation. About not getting the BBBJ that I paid for and my change back, and the bad performance on their part, and that I did not want to fuck the friend. I tell my driver about it, and we talk about and I tell him "but what could I do, nothing". And he agreed that there is not much you could do. I replay what happened over in head and it stressed me out. However in the shower I come to the conclusion that considering this is only my second ever mongering trip I should use this as a learning experience. I decide to stay positive, I just fucked two hot girls and it barely cost me anything.
Chapter VI.
Familiar Territory.
It is Saturday May 16. I decide to head to the Centro casas. After last night I need a sure thing. I catch a cab and ride over from my apartment in Laureles. Once you get in Centro you start to see people selling things during the traffic red lights. I saw a young good looking guy sniffing glue, this is strange to me. But I would come to see more young people glue sniffing in parks and such. It is not just the older straggly guys. I can also tell you that mullets are cool in Medellin, so feel free to rock one when in town. The glue sniffer at the light had one, as did several other guys. I went to New Life first, my favorite casa from last trip. Things have changed a lot in two years. The the decor is very different, it looks more like a lounge now. There were fifteen girls and I was not impressed, but I decided to go with one of the girls that smiled at me. A tip I learned from a member of this board by reading the forum.
Her name was Sala, which means room so that is a little confusing. And I asked her her name again in the room and she did say Sala. She had light skin with black hair and was skinny, she looked ok but not my type. She spoke good English, I spoke good Spanish for what we were doing anyway. I asked for BBBJ and she said $50 K, I countered with $25 K and she said $30 K and I happily agreed to that. I would not have minded paying $50 K but that would not be good mongering etiquette. It was well worth the money because she sucked my dick like she wanted to, and this was not a quick blowjob either, I had to stop her so we could start fucking. She was good at sex and good on top too. I liked this girl. I put her up against the wall with a pillow under her and found my sweet spot in missionary and fucked her like that until I came while listening to her soft moans of enjoying my dick. New Life's beds are not half bad you know. I needed a few seconds after that nut, and then got off of her. I took a shower and she took one after me, we talked to each other while dressing her in English and me in Spanish. I think I paid around $35 k or something crazy low like that. You cannot beat New Life's low short time prices and they do not swindle you on time either.
I leave and I am worn out but I decide to walker around the corner to Aiffe anyway. The mamasan lets me in; she is a nice looking young woman. I sit down on the couch and the girls start coming out. I like the the decor in this place, it is a nice setting. There were six girls, one I did not like at all. The other five were in the 7-8 range, good looking girls of different colors and shapes. A couple of girls gave me the smile I was looking for but the last one poured it on so I took her. I paid for one hour for around $65 k if I remember correctly.
The girl's name was Valentina. She was a really good looking girl, an 8 in my opinion. She had amazing big titties and a nice ass too. She had brown skin. I asked for BBBJ but she said no. I was surprised at how good the BJ was, it was better than some uncovered BJs that I have had. This girl had great dick sucking skills, I could only imagine what it would be like uncovered. Aiffe's beds feel like they are made out of stone, as if the manufactures said "let's make the hardest mattress in the universe". The pillow was just as hard but was useful for leverage when I was fucking missionary and looking into her hazel-green eyes. At some point our session was interrupted and I said another 30 minutes but I know an hour could not have gone that quick. I talked to her a while after we had sex, and was surprised that I could have a conversation with someone in Spanish. I showered after her, the shower was not bad and there was a toilet with no seat. I had to pay for the extra 30 minutes so I think that unless I loss track of time I was cheated or they made a mistake.
Chapter VII.
Indecision.
I do not remember all the dates around this next time clearly because some of this report is being written a month later but I do not think it matters. I think I took Sunday May 17 2015 off. I think on Monday May 18 2015 I invited over the third Facebook again for the third time. We had BB sex again and we both came. I told her I wanted to come in her mouth and of course she did not say no. I tried my best but could not do it maybe next time, I ended up coming in her pussy and on her stomach and it got everywhere. After that we went out and hung out then came back to my apartment and fucked again. She came two more times and I came again in her pussy. I did not have enough money to pay her, I was short by a little bit and she said it was ok. But I rode in the taxi with her to the ATM to get the rest of her money because I needed money anyway. Did I mention that my Schwab card is the shit, greatest thing since sliced bread. I read that they reimburse you all the fees at the end of the month but this did not happen to me because I was never charged any fees in the first place. Most other banks charge all types of fees, ATM fees, and international fees. My other bank I think told me there was a $5 international fee on top of the ATM fee; I was not really listening to the guy because I have a Schwab carb and would not use anything else in a foreign country or any ATM anywhere.
I think it is May 19,2015. Once again I will state that I am a little fuzzy on the dates in which the following events take place, but I do remember the events themselves which is the important thing. I did know mongering during the day. I did order food online and they called my cell phone and I understood everything the girl said to me in Spanish. It feels so good to have my studying paying off, I was so excited. I have a long way to go with my Spanish though. I called my driver and had him come to my apartment at night and I went to Mayorista first. I saw no gems, but talked to a few girls and walked around. I lave and go check out the street girls off Calle 33 around San Diego, there was nothing I would touch there.
Then I went to Avenida De Griffe. I talked to some girls, and then was approached by a good looking girl maybe a 7. In hindsight I think this was a red flag. The girl was loud and impatient, but I did not notice these things until after. I agreed to take her, paid for the room and she was asking for a bottle of aguardiente which I agreed to buy I think, I know I bought it though. And she said something about coke which I just responded no to. I think I have made over a dozen rookie mistakes; I am just too inexperienced to hang with these street girls. We get in the room and the bullshit starts it starts she ask for $7 k for wipes all bullshit. She offers me a shot of aguardiente which I decline. She wipes my dick off, and I tell her to suck me BB liked we agreed to and she says I have to take a shower for that, total bullshit.
So I go shower and take my pants with me and place them on the floor so I can see them. The shower had hot water and I almost burnt my dick right off. She is trying to tell me something while I am in the shower, but I do not understand and tell her to wait. I get out of the shower and some plain chick is there. She tells me this is her friend. I know it is your friend because I was already hit with this scam before. I may be inexperienced but I do not fall for the same trick twice. I tell her no. She tries to convince me to buy her friend and I keep saying no, I am not having it. So her friend leaves.
We get to the BBBJ and she is right in front of me and pretends to suck my dick for literally two seconds and my dick never touches her mouth. She lay back after putting a condom on me with bra and panties still on a spreads her panties to one side so I can fuck her. And just as I am about to get it in someone else knocks on the door. Then she offers me the shot of aguardiente again, and again I say no. But she keeps trying to get me to drink it, again and again and again and again. I start to put my clothes on and leave. I am absolutely livid; I tell my driver that she was a puta. I read about all the diamonds in the ruff in this area and about how BB sex could be easily had here. I tried to find it but I think my street skills suck, I need more experience and maybe some guidance too because I am way off.
Chapter VIII.
Low Budget Extravagance.
I know for a fact that it is May 20,2015 because I wrote it down, so the rest of this report should be pretty accurate chronologically. Decided to check out fantasias 2 from the casa map. I memorized the casa map and also kept references in case I forgot anything. The way I view the map chicas puto com is at the back and new life is in the front. That might not make sense to some people. So I decided to start at the back and work my way to the front. I could not find the place but as I looked around I noticed that chicas puto com had to be around here from what I saw on google maps.
There are plenty of guys handing out cards around Centro for casas; some were across from Parque Bolivar. I get to the building and there are guys out front handing out cards and ushering me in while saying things to me I do not understand. I am greeted by the mamasan, this place is dirty and gritty, the girls wear everything from dresses to just bra and panties; I am in heaven. The lineup sucks but I do not care because I am so enamored with the ambiance or lack thereof. The hottest girl in my eyes is a 7 and I pick her Louisa. One hour $55 k. Short, stocky, giant real soft ass, brown skin.
The girl was sweet. I offered a propina for BBBJ but she declined. Good head though. Her dick riding skills were by far the greatest I have ever encountered, cowgirl was heaven and reverse cowgirl was even better. It was so good. Most girls I come across do not know how to ride a dick, so this was such a treat. She had good pussy in that position, and her ass was amazing to looking at. I ate her pussy and made her cum, my oral game is pretty high level at this point. I think I came too in missionary but I cannot remember. I took a shower, and the shower sucked. This place has roaches as well; there was one inside the shower rod. I did not actually see it but based on its antenna it was big. I gave Luisa a $5 k tip for suck a good performance.
I must of took ten minutes in there studying my map references and Luisa came back to check on me and I left. The mamasan followed me talking to me, I told her I did not understand but right after I understood that she was asking me when I was going to return. Once you memorize the casa map and get a reference point, Centro is fairly easy to navigate. I head to fantasias 2, weird small chairs, dimly lit with a blue light. There were three girls there that I was not impressed with, I told the mamasan this and she said it was ok. I would have fucked her though, she was cute. I started to walk to Paris Club when I realized I was walking in the opposite direction, it could have been worst; at least I was on the right street. El Centro smells horrible; [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) and fried grease fill your nose while smog fills your throat.
I took Sofia at Paris Club; I was not impressed with the lineup though. I paid $10 k for BBBJ twice. She provided good head but nothing spectacular. The prices at Paris Club were about the same as other casas, I paid 38 k for half an hour. I am now getting the hang of walking around Centro to different casas, the walk is not as far as it looks on the map. I walked passed Coffee Shop to Saritas, and they had a horrible lineup, some were doable but I passed. Then I went to Coffee Shop, I saw a Colombian man that was just in Saritas behind me so I guess he did not like the lineup either. The lineup in coffee was bad as well, only about five girls like at Saritas. There was one good looking girl Salome, I choose her but could not get hard after the first two girls.
Next I went to New Life right around the corner. There were several guys in there just sitting or having a beer. There were only three girls in the lineup, two girls I was not interested in but I chose Julianna who I thought looked good. Julianna did not look very inviting but she looked good. She wore tight black leather pants that accentuated her giant ass. She had pale white skin and was pretty. I tipped her for BBBJ and it was great. She was good on top, doggy, and in missionary. She was a great performer, and I really enjoyed the session. I would say that I needed to fuck her, because I had never fucked a girl with that type of body before. I am sure her ass could not be real but it sure felt real. I had previously only fucked normal looking girls, but Julianna looked like a girl you would see in a rap video.
Chapter IX.
A Pig in Shit.
It is May 21,2015. I take a taxi into Centro, I find that it easier to get to the casas if you have the taxi take you to your reference point. I go back to chicas puto com, and that asshole outside keeps trying to escort me in there again. I am greeted by the same mamasan; she seems to be really nice. I choose a girl with brown skin and big ass, and pay for the hour. This room is better than the first one I was in. I had a good connection with this girl, she was really sweet. I paid $20 K for BBBJ, she gave a good BJ and would go as long as I wanted, it was not the best but there was tons of spit like I like it and she tried hard. It is the effort that counts most of the time.
I was not really enthusiastic about her pussy but I happened to slip a finger in her ass in passing. I asked her if she liked anal and she said sometimes, I asked how much and she said $80 k. I normally would have passed but my time in Medellin was running out and I knew I would spend the next one to two years regretting not paying. I accepted her terms of service. I spent some time eating her ass, and warming her up, one finger, two, three, and four. It got pretty messy but I am a pig anyway so I did not mind at all. Her ass was really tight so it took a while to get in there but once I did it smooth and warm. This girl was made to be fucked in the ass; she has a phat ass plus a great asshole. After the session I got her Facebook account. In the taxi ride home I think about how I want to go somewhere else for my next mongering trip, maybe another country.
It is May 22,2015. I headed back to chicas puto com to finish what I started yesterday. Chicas puto com was definitely my favorite casa on this trip. It is interesting to see everyone in Centro step right over the bums, cripples, and druggies that sitting right in the middle of the sidewalk sometimes. So I went and stepped right over them as well, I wish they would get the hell up and move. I mean honestly I am trying to walk to important sex sessions here, some people. I choose the same girl and she lets me know through her body language that she wants me to pick her again. I kept seeing the same girls every day at chicas puto com as opposed to a place like New Life which always has a different lineup. A tip for going to this casa is to use one of the rooms near where the mamasan sits. The room I was in today was the best. The session was great, the BBBJ was even better today than yesterday and I fucked her ass until it bleed. I was really sorry about making her ass bleed, and she said that it was ok but that it had never happened before.
I went to New Life next and they had a large lineup that I did not enjoy but I choose a girl just because. I think her name was Tatianna or something. I was not attracted to her and could not get hard so I left after having a few Postobons. I like that you can sit and drink for a while in new life, and the new seats make it comfortable.
Chapter X.
The Prodigal Son Returns.
It is May 23.2015. I close the door to my apartment behind me and with it I bring my time in Medellin to a close. I arranged for my driver to take me to the airport, it is around four in the morning. We pass Luna Lunera, and then La Isla on the way up the hill. We are having a conversation in Spanish on the way to the airport. At some point I tell him to slow down because it is not that important for me to get to the airport right away. I get out and we exchange goodbyes, and I forgot to pay him but he reminded me. I started talking to a guy that works at the airport and he told me where to find JetBlue's check-in station, but he said to first pay the exit tax. The man checked on the computer and with a smile told me there was not tax, and gave me a slip showing that I was cleared. I am assuming the fee was already included in JetBlue's ticket price, which was not the case with Copa.
I got to the station and I upgraded my seat for $100 k, and one lady asked me some questions in English. They told me to pick up my bag in Fort Lauderdale which I was confused about. I went right through security, they threw away one of my bottles of water, patted me down and that was it. Security in Fort Lauderdale was not fun at all though. I was cramped sitting next to a guy on the plane but luckily the plane was not full so I moved over. I think Copa has better seats that JetBlue in my opinion, online it says JetBlue has bigger seats but I am not convinced. There was ice dropping from the ceiling and the flight attendant said that that happens sometimes when there is high humidity. I can say that the even more space seats on JetBlue are well worth it.
The plane ticket was $441, but I upgraded my seats three times. The first two upgrades were about $40 and $20 I think. I gave myself about a $1,500 budget to spend in Medellin and spent that much. My apartment was another $300. You can definitely spend much less than I did in Medellin. Overall this trip was amazing and much needed, I felt amazing after returning to the States. It was a much different feeling than the first time though, this time I felt focused, whereas the first time I felt euphoric. My investment to learn a little Spanish paid of dramatically, I would not consider myself conversational yet. I can only imagine what it would be like to be intermediate or fluent. If anyone has any tips on learning Spanish it would be greatly appreciated. Also I noticed that I am awful when it comes to dealing with street girl so I need to work on that as well. After being back in the States for a month now there is no doubt that my next trip will be back to Medellin.

My Time on Mars: A Memoir.
I manage to say "Uh yes, but he was responsible for the war on drugs".
.Wow thanks for taking time out to write such a long and detailed report.
But next time, you just stay on Suitland parkway. Once you go past 295 in Anacostia, Suitland pkwy turns into 395 and will take you right into VA and DCA. Rookie mistake! LOL.

Good point.
Good luck to all, play 'them like you see 'them!I think it's long way off before Colombia gets ruined as a monger destination like Costa Rica with the reasons being that there is no Tourist infrastructure like in Costa Rica and there is little English spoken. As far as "special services" Chicas, they are all over town as your aware, easily had, and for 400 K you could have several Chicas.

ROFL. Thanks a lot. I was really surprised when I found out how much effort we could have avoided.Wow a long time since I have seen such a detailed report Good work.
You may have not known it, but when you said this in you report you most likely dodged a bullet.
"Then she offers me the shot of aguardiente again, and again I say no. But she keeps trying to get me to drink it, again and again and again and again. ".
I'm saying to you if you took that drink you would have ended up waking up 8 hours later with all your stuff gone. Also you were lucky with the 3 some in Centro. Two unknown girls usually means not a happy ending for you. Anyway each trip you learn more, and more. Good luck in the future.

Any time a ho tries to force you to drink down there, 99% of time it will lead to bad things. Good thing he is not a drinker. I have done many runs by myself while down there but I never drink when I am with the girl in the room. When ever I'm alone, I never drink. I only drink among friends there at my apartment. I also pay the security guy a little on the side to watch my back. We would have code phrase he would ask me and I answer. 10000 pesos a week is nothing for security. And it has helped me one time, a girl left without me walking her down and he would not let her leave till I came down and said it was all good. It's a good practice. I recommend it to those staying in MDE.

Good luck in the future.I am well aware of what was going on, she probably was trying to scopola me. In hindsight I probably should have got out of there sooner. She held the shot glass in front of my mouth and was trying to getting me to drink it. I brushed her hand away from my face, not really hard but enough to let her know I was getting angry. She kept saying yes, I kept saying no. She kept asking why. I start putting my clothes back on a left. Fuck her. I am alive. I lost some money on a horrible experience but I learned from it. It could have been far worst. As far as the threesome goes, I had to keep an eye out. I caught the first girl down low behind me while I was fucking the other one and she stopped whatever she was doing when I looked back. I guess she noticed I was not just lost in the pussy and was aware of my surroundings. I do not recommend two girls at once in El Centro. Do not fall for the, "This is my friend" bullshit. I think they just wanted to take advantage of the young, little Spanish speaking gringo. Got to try harder to catch me! LOL.

My friend has got a new normal job and has left the prepago scence after a short career; cero clientes since she got stuck with an infection at the hospital 2 weeks wih her new "Superboobs"!
I have a old-new friend that wants to enter the prepago-scence, since she thinks "Los gringos son muy guapos".
Well; and I can dig up some other contacts, all sexy girls.
I have left the crazy-mode and are now into serious stuff, but I like to help my fellows out!
PM for info.
The might be delays, then remind me.
I don't make a single dime out of this; but I can shorten your time searching for girls who give good service; and are not theives etc, dramaqueens.
All good!
Only good energy;.

This showed up in my e-mail folder:I have a very hot friend that went there a year ago.
She was as a very good looking paisa amazed by the beauty of the girls and the quantity of them, many changing to bikini at the pool!
She said girls and clients spontanously divided into groups that discussed P4 P serious relationships respectively!
Her story gives me such lust to re-enter the mongering / looking for a wife (-but-not-really-) scence.
I'm stuck into serious stuff and the stress kills any lustimpulse that dear enter my mind!
Today was at New Life. It was packed with Colombians (maybe because the national team playing today? I counted about 15-20 people waiting. Last time I was there there were about 3-4 Colombians.
I think its rooms are the nicest and the lineup is solid (2-4 that I would do), so 40 k half hour and 70 k full hour isn't bad.
Chica asked for a tip, I politely declined, saying I like to simply follow the published prices. She tells me everyone tips, don't you tip at restaurants? I told her I was just at Burger King and I didn't tip there. LOL.
Yesterday I was at Paris Club and it was subpar. Had 8 chicas, none of the doable. 2 k viewing fee (have to consume something if you don't select, so after being unimpressed I bought something to drink because I was thirsty then went on my way).
Seeing as both Kamasutra and Paris Club have 38 k half hour (why don't they just round up to 40 k), doesn't seem to me to be any reason to go to either of those places over New Life. The rooms at Kamasutra are also subpar. They do not have showers or bathrooms in suite.

This showed up in my e-mail folder:Yes, I went to a romance Latin party at Liquid Lounge once. The party was legit.
What I can't imagine is going to a romance Latina party at Babylon on a Thursday night.
Thursday night is ladies night there anyway and it is packed by 11 pm. How the hell would you even know who came to the party and who just showed up.

Yakusa report: Yakusa is interesting as it's one of the few casas open late, sometimes until 2 am. The rooms are very small as are the beds but sheets were clean. They play loud music and sell beers to guys who hang outside so it's definitely not a discreet place. If you like privacy or quiet it's probably not for you. I banged in the room closest to the street and the walls were very thin. I Went Thursday evening around 7 pm. Saw one cute young girl leaving as I was walking in. There were three girls inside: Andrea, Pamela and a pig. Andrea was 18, slim and cute. I wanted to go with her but she declined BBBJ. So I went with Pamela, who is 23 with a small waist and nice thick booty. Unfortunately she has kids and had the stomach rolls to prove it. She was nice, oral service was ok, very good rcg and cow girl. Her pussy was pretty loose. She told me she is a regular so she's probably high mileage.
Prices are 35 k for 30 min, 60 for an hour. I gave Pamela a 25 k propina for the BBBJ.
One visit isn't enough to form a strong opinion but I would probably try other places before I returned here.

SeizeTheDay,
I like your memoir on Mars. It is very informative. Lots of good information about Facebook chicas, centro casas, the night scene in El Centro, what the street girls are up to, and what to do and don't. You acted pretty well given your short experience. I only disagree with your unsafe way of dealing with sex or using no protection with a prostitute, but if that is how you like to live your life on the edge, its your life anyway. Also, from reading you report you seem to be quite a masochist guy. I am curious how you know when someone you fucking likes to be choke? To me That is just some crazy shit. What you if you end up actually choking a girl in Colombia. Given that you are such a big guy as you noted that can happen pretty easily. What if the girl calls the Police later saying you tried to choke her? Just a thought. Great report thought. I think I learned a lot from reading your post.

I arranged for another chica from Facebook to come over later that day around 7:00.

Was at Mayorista yesterday from 6-9 pm. Saw some quality sws. I talked to three of them but none were down for BBBJ so I passed. I will have to figure out a good way to bring up BBBJ bc it seems odd that sws are so averse to it.
Anyway, there was a 24 yr old who wanted 70 plus 20 for the room for. 5 hour. She went down to 70 with room.
I never got down to price with the other two bc they quickly refused when I told them what I wanted. A shame really bc they were big titted milfs in really good shape, which I usually enjoy being with.
So some action in la mayorista.

Nowadays they are more educated and informed about ways of protecting themselves from sexually transmitted STD deceases. BBBJ is one way for you and her catching STD easier http://www.details.com/blogs/daily-details/2013/02/ask-dr-jake-can-i-get-stds-from-oral-sex.html To me and all of us mongers is a good thing that chicas are using good practices. If that wasn't the case, our hobby will have a short life span and dicks be falling off the radar with nasty or catastrophic STD.

The majority of them will give a BBBJ without hesitation.

Perhaps you can be a little more specific where you encountered the SW's that wouldn't give BBBJ's.

There's some confusion as to the BBBJ issue: I'm the one complaining about sws not wanting to do oral sin condom. And I chatted with 5 sws in Mayorista, NOT IN El Centro.
I have not had much luck seeing many sws in el centro. When I do see them (and I've definitely seen them) I'm on my way somewhere else or they are disgusting and I don't talk to them.
HOWEVER, I am doing much better than my last trip in terms of casa / strip club girls: I'm 4 for 4 In getting a BBBJ. One was a ripoff in a strip club, the other three ranged from vale to pretty good.
Three were for 20 mil, one for 25 (and she was the worst LOL).
Still trying to get two hot young casa girls to mi cuarto, so far not much luck. I called up a girl I met last time for a little gfe. She provided it but unfortunately has put on twenty pounds and is annoying so I'm looking for a replacement.

To one side is a church. There are street girls located in front of the Museum sitting on benches, in front of pay phones, in and around the Church, behind the Church, etc. They are all over the place and a few blocks away is Avenida de la Grief with more girls.
I have gotten quotes as low as 15,000 Pesos by the street girls. There are some gems out there but lots of fuglys! Today I had one quote me 15,000 pesos that I had befriend a few days earlier and when I asked about the BBBJ it was like no problem. We went to the room and the first thing I told her I was going to be giving her more money for a good time. She was tall and thin with an average face. We hit it off immediately in the room and she delivered on the blow job. She was into it and I had a killer session that lasted over an hour with her. When I gave her 30,000 Pesos she couldn't believe it and deserved every Peso and then some. If your willing to sacrifice a little in the looks department you can have some great experiences in El Centro. I won't waste my time at the Casa's with their rules and time issues.
One visit isn't enough to form a strong opinion but I would probably try other places before I returned here.I checked the place out today just out of curiosity while killing time waiting for a good SW to show up in El Centro. Only saw a bunch of porky Chicas and walked out upon seeing the line up. I think as previously reported this is one of the lower end Casa's and you will do much better at Mew Life for the same money.
Who would you guys say are the best 3 FB amigitas as far as great in bed. Not nesesarily in looks but in the sack. We all have the same 20-30 contacts at least but obviously I haven't banged them all. Who would you say are the best fucks out there?

I spent a couple of days at Jake's place (that is Colombia Jake, who posts here too). While he can set you up for a quick bang in the room (just like at a casa or club), what was the highlight for me was the Rent-a-date. On two different nights (with two different girls), they'd arrive just outside the hotel in a taxi, I'd hop in and we'd go to a party district. Both were interested in warming up with some drinks (share a bottle of rum or aguardiente), and boy did they warm up. Despite my crappy Spanish, they were so incredibly social that we somehow communicated well enough. We soon started making out, then moved to a second place where you can dance. Both loved to dance and really came alive, and we kept switching between the dance floor and sitting down to drink and talk and make out some more. I'm usually kind of shy on the dance floor, but not here. You really feel like a man--The Man--when a hot paisa is all over you and laugh and kiss you in public. After a couple of hours of this, back to the hotel room for about an hour of private time. www.colombiajake.com
The price is a bit above budget. The advantage is that Jake has vetted the girls, and if you describe the personality and looks that you like, he's likely to match it pretty well.
Another thing I liked at Jake's place is his assistant, a somewhat older American gentleman who is very friendly and with an interesting perspective on expat living and different kinds of paisa relationships. If you get to know him, he may tell you of his interesting life.Well your back again so I guess you really do like what we have to offer! This time I set him up with a new player by the name of Anna Marie who is a little darling with tons of personality and 18. I can't thank you guy's enough for all your support and to Jackson and staff for not letting other larger business's and negative interests push me off the board. We have a unique style that's not for everyone, but we should always have a voice and be heard from often.
Thanks Jake.

Just arrived in Modellin for the first time. I know a girl here, and have been shagging her since I arrived, but am interested in a little strange. Anyone had any luck with Tinder? I'm pretty young, speaking moderate Spanish, and attractive gringo.
Also, staying in el poblado{near parque lleras] despite looking all through the thread, haven't really idea on where the casas are. Or if they worth the effort.

Competition is good. Me personally, I'm not interested in either combatant. Good luck to all.

Looks like Medellin mansion is going to charge the guest staying there to enjoy the 4th July party there, what the hell is up with that??

Have some respect for your guest that pay good money to stay there, only to be treated like non guest when they stay there.Superbowl, some VIP's birthday and especially Halloween. They have ALWAYS asked the guests to 'chip in' additional money for food & entertainment. This is nothing new, these are their high traffic holidays.

As with all mongering, nothing is written in stone. Next time get there or stay there later.
Sometimes I duck into the museo de Antioquia's cafe to be on neutral ground while I recharge between pops. I've only ever had coffee (pretty good of course) or a soft drink. Has anyone tried the food? I'm curious but not enough to check it out cold without a recommendation.
Thanks in advance.

They don't charge any more than the market will bear. I respect it.I'm glad the truth still pops it's strange head out once in a while here in the Medellin Forum. I totally agree w / these comments and in addition I would like to add they jump through all the hoops the local government puts in front of them (which are many). They have persevered w / 2 properties (full of sexy women) in an upscale neighborhood for many many years. They started long ago and have learned many lessons and most importantly they promoted Medellin as a great place to meet the most beautiful women on the planet.
They broke ground and started the Medellin / Colombian craze, to my knowledge it started at the mansion. If you look back into the ISG archives you will see the photos of the many mansion girls, photos that brought many mongers here including myself. Talk is always talk and photos are proof of what's been said, photos sell plane tickets.
So now things are quite different (Facebook, Condos, Airbnb) and they are still thriving. I was there last week and spent 7 days there. Prior to my stay there I was in El Salvador for 5 days and so I was looking forward to some English speakers, and easy access to the nookie at the mansion. I do enjoy the comradely there, the breakfast is good, the pool, it's just easy in every regard. The difference in cost might be $20 or $30 per night so I continue to stay there.
I'm an older guy and not interested in discos and playing games in Parque Lleras. I just want to meet my mansion lady in la cueva, have a few pops in the bar and fuck her good in my room up the hill, maybe a 3 some here or there. It's all so easy WTF.
This trip the ladies were pretty nice and I found a few outstanding performers, I wish I could have stayed a few more days. A friend I met online and then in the mansion last week did it the right way. Invite a chica to the pool and hang out in the warm sun, then after a couple hours up to the room for desert. He did well and is still down there roaming around.
Anyway, the prices are the same as always 150,000 or 300,000 for TLN, that's what they were in 2010 when I made my first trip. The dollar is stronger then ever so the prices are actually going down. I also noticed that BB is more available and lower prices are available if you want to negotiate (I do). Half the mansion ladies are on FB and the other half aren't so I could have access to most of the ladies I saw w / out staying at the mansion, that said I don't mind paying the additional cost to stay in a hotel built for my pleasure and safety.
They also have a list of medical services, dental services, language instructors, masseuses, etc. Anyhow, Knowledge is your friend and now you have my short Medellin TR. These ladies all delivered great times, please no names. Another great thing about mansion girls is they absolutely love gringos, jaja. I wonder why? Disfruta.

Prepago Perfect 10 (9).
I have a new very hot friend that want to meet you guys.
She is prepago Emily at paisadivinas.com but she wants to meet gringos like independent; she is very plesant to be with if you speak Spanish.
I can just say that I stayed 5 hours and payed for 4 (+1 with her housemate Maria Fernanda) and did this twice with a week between only; a thing that might give a clue how good she is!
She is pornstar and GFE in one person!
Her profile is for the moment down at Paisasdivinas, if you search Emily, you get another girl, not even close that hot. I just send her a reminder to get it up again ASAP.
PM me for her celular. She will then give you more info and photos.
She is also a girl that makes others yealous, if you go out with her.

This seems Superb!
Anyone been there more than our friend Viajero11, at the Thai Spa?
The place is a heist and for those who want everything delivered to them on a silver platter.Surfer,
You are certainly entitled to your opinion, just not sure why "wanting it delivered on a silver platter" is a bad thing. Just because its not your cup of tea doesn't make it a "heist".
I have stayed there a few times, and a few times I did not. Quite frankly, I enjoyed the times I was there more, if for no other reason than it was interesting getting to know the other guests. I was happy to pay a little extra when I was there for the service and local knowledge that would have cost me much more in time and money to obtain on my own. It also let me in on the local customs much quicker. Horses for courses IMHO.

Does the typical mansion guest bring down those snappy black tee-shirts they wear all over Poblado, or does the hotel include one in that price? At least everybody got the memo!
Just kidding, but to be more serious, I can understand why somebody would try the mansion, I just can't understand why they would keep relying on it if they were making progress with their Spanish, or had bettered their proficiency in meeting regular priced pros and non-pros that are much hotter than the photos I've seen, or the girls rolling out of the mansion in the morning. Some guys don't mind paying 5 x as much for things, some even think something is better only because they paid 500% more, to each his own.
I've met some cool guys that have stayed at the mansion before, but they were the ones that spread their wings eventually and did things like rent apartments on subsequent trips, taken Spanish lessons, pick up regular girls in Centro, or how to make the casas work for them. Those things do take effort though, and some are only on vacation for a week.

I think part of it is because I am jealous, because I cannot make it to enjoy the party.I've been to these types of parties and it's worth the entry fee just to collect phone numbers since there will be soooooo many girls there and some that aren't mansion regulars might pop in to check out the scene. Food is typical paisa fried and greasy stuff and licor is usually bottom shelf tequila / vodka. And don't hesitate to just walk up and ask for numbers straight up because some girls won't stay all day or night and you might miss out. I remember it being like a 8-1 girl-guy ratio at one point. I actually counted and lost track at 40 at its peak. Anyways, enjoy!
Everything you mention is true and exactly why I always have chosen the Mansion. I am always usually only there for a few days. So having everything prepared and ready to go at your fingertips is so worth the extra $20-30. I like the casa runs during the day it keeps an extra $100-200 k in my pocket to be later enjoyed with the girls that come to the Mansion bar. The fact that prices have stayed the same since 2010 and the dollar is way stronger now. I will take those numbers any day of the week. I will admit Colombia Jake services do sound good also and would def try him out as well. I love 3 somes and at the mansion its so easy to put one together. Plus those chicks are nice they stay longer they go on dates show you the city all for the $150 k. Its a win win for me. All the vets there are very helpful too. You mentioned all the services available like dentist, doctors, pharmacy, massage, etc. Pool could be a little warmer I can say. Honestly feels like a heart attack when you jump in. LOL. I've stayed at both M1 and M2. I like M1 bc I'm younger fluent in spanish and like to get at least 6 girls per day. Since I get a lot of help from the Vets I always try to help out new guys by translating. And helping them negotiate better deals too. One of my favorite things is the laundry sevice. $7/ day and the very nice ladies that make breakfast. Fuck staying in an apt and then going grocery shopping then making food yourself I barely do that here at home. Let alone travel 5 k miles to do that in MDE. LOL. I will be there later this month and can't wait to land in MDE.

Those things do take effort though, and some are only on vacation for a week.Uh, I'm fluent in Espanol and I have stayed at the Mansion / Castillo on each of 14 visits to MDE. I don't think language ability has a thing to do with it. I do understand the appeal of staying elsewhere -- you can get a much nicer place for less money. But I like the camaraderie with fellow guests at the Mansion. I visit MDE by myself and I like the ease of showing up and immediately having 8 or 10 buddies to hang with (half of which I know from previous trips). If a monger is very independent and doesn't need this camaraderie, then yes, he's better of getting an apartment. Maybe I'm weak for needing this "support" system, but I like a sociable environment. If you know of another place that I can find this, I'd love to hear about it.
I have, on two occasions, rented a hotel room in addition to my Mansion / Castillo room because I was dealing with strict non-pros. Girls that were introduced to me by Colombian friends in the US. I suppose in that instance, it would have been easier to have had my own apartment. But I wouldn't consider that unless I had a couple fellow mongers to share the place with.
Hell, one of the reasons I stopped going to Rio (my absolute favorite place in the World) years ago was that so many of my fellow mongers stopped going because of cost and/or distance.
Oh, and I've never paid close to 300K pesos for TLN with a Mansion girl. There is no "official price."
Now I understand, I did get it. It's about like minded friends. I struggled to understand the attraction but now I see. I have lots of friends at home. I want to spend all my time with paisas, not with people like me. I am ok with being a weirdo cheapskate.

Most are a bore and have no interest in Medellin night life or other activities.
But I do stay at the Mansion from time to time just to meet women outside my social circle and facebook friends.
The only real down side to staying at the Mansion is that some women just don't want to be seen there. And the down side to staying at an apartment is that some women just don't want to go to some guys apartment that they have never met in person. That's why I alternate between the two and some times rent an apartment while still having a room at the Mansion.

If MDE had surfing or diving or a great dance scene like Cali, I might feel differently. If you care about surfing and diving, why come to Medellin in the first place? It's for the beautiful women. Besides, if you have to dive on your trip, the Galapagos are right around the corner, or you can be in Cartagena for around $50 or $60.
Like I said before, to each his own and many will never agree on this topic so take it for what it's worth. If you want to pay and extra $30+ to hang out with guys that are like you, that is fine, but that is on top of the jacked up chica prices, so it's not just an extra $20 or 30 as you suggest, but more like an extra $100. Then, the mansion is inviting guys like us in there for an extra $20 K only over your ticket price, if we would want to go. I'm not sure how selling more tickets to guys like me helps paying guests like yourself, but I'll keep an open mind.
As far my comment about black tee wearing gringos in Poblado, that gig is played out. Nothing screams "I'm a monger" like the black tee and wraparound shades. It's getting creepy, fellas. If you don't believe me, just take a short walk from the Mansion to CC Santa Fe, sit for a half hour near pedestrian entrance and tell me it's not so obvious it's getting embarassing. If you can't pick out every retard with ease, I'll give you a 100% refund for the price paid for my opinion. I only mention it here because it seems to be in the Mansion 101 handbook.
If a guy only has a few days and he has never been to Medellin before, maybe the the mansion is his best option?
I have met many cool guys that have stayed at the mansion, and I don't want to come off like a big dick, but the coolest were always onto bigger and better things. Just how I see it, maybe I'm blind.
Tonight at around 12:30 in the morning I was returning from El Centro to Poblado in a taxi. On Calle 10 going up the hill before Parque Poblado there was a checkpoint and we where stopped. I was searched and then asked for my "credentials" I had a reduced copy of my Passport that was laminated in plastic along with a US Passport card I showed them. They looked them over and than said they needed to see the original documents. I told them that they could see the original of the Passport but they would have to come to my Hotel as it was locked up in a safety deposit box. After that they said I could go.
hotelmedellinplaza.comMuchas Gracias!
I'm interested in what others think. I think a drivers license, Colombian or one from any other country, comes off as less suspicious at military and police controls. Passports are for immigration purposes. I agree a copy is a better way to carry it around but unless you need it for banking or other official purpose, I've never had a problem with a government ID like a passport card or drivers license. I agree with Surfer, it's always best to have some kind of ID to avoid law enforcement hassles.

La Mayorista has been really busy the last two nights. A lot of women and not a lot of customers. Many bargains to be had! Some cute talent to go with the veterans.

Closest thing to that for foreigners is a drivers license. If you show a foreign drivers license you will be fine. These checkpoints aren't looking for gringos who have overstayed their visas. They are looking for drugs, weapons, stolen motos and other contraband.
I have been through these checkpoints on a moto and they wanted to see my SOAT (insurance) and cedula. I have been searched and not searched, but mostly when they realize you are a foreigner they don't fuck with you that much. I've only had good experiences with Colombian police, but my Paisa GF swears that they treat foreigners better than they treat Colombians.
Use Uber and forget about fake bills, having cash, or a dodgy taxista. Best of all, its cheaper than the already cheap little yellow guys.
I respect your opinion (no sarcasm).
He he.

Ran into a second, sometimes mansion girl asking for 200 k.
Last week, two acquaintances, both.
Very Latin, veteran mongers, but visiting MDE for the first time, werre asked for 200 k by Parque Lleras party girls.
I think it has to do with the devauation of the peso.
If the peso devaluation caused the 200 k Ask, why aren't Centro casas more now than they were when the peso was in the 1800 to 1900/$ range? Why aren't hotels 80% more than they were?
I think my examples are typical but the situation you describe is unique to the micro-economy of the niche Business. Good on them, no one is putting a gun to the heads of guys who ay those prices. They want the service that is provided. It's not a Bad thing because it has no effect on guys who aren't customers.

Was she right?Yup. Vast majority of these girls have no idea what the USD / peso exchange rate is. Only exceptions if she travels a lot outside Colombia or if some loser gringo explains it to her (thinking he's getting brownie points?)
I'm personally insulted when a prepago pulls that shit on me. She's basically treating me as a fool.

I think it has to do with the devauation of the peso.I do not think it has anything to do with the exchange rate. These girls can't even follow a monthly budget or save up for their semester payment and they know exactly when those are coming!
The hotter girls have always asked for more because they can get it. Some girls are following suite it seems. That Mery Mari girl loves to scream about $200 plus and she's one of the newer queen bees.

And the down side to staying at an apartment is that some women just don't want to go to some guys apartment that they have never met in person. The only time I have run into this situation was when trying to deal with chicas who were not "in the game". The other 99% of the time I've had no problems with a chica I've never met in person (conversing only via fb or whatsapp) coming to my apartment.
Believe it or not, but these chicas have a network and they talk to one another. On my last trip, I had one chica who told me that the only reason she agreed to see me was because she asked her amiga about me, and her amiga told her "Siii. El es muy carińo!"
So if you (not the OP) are a duchebag, word gets around quickly.
The only real down side to staying at the Mansion is that some women just don't want to be seen there. There are some chicas that are at the Mansion Mon-Sun because they don't have shit else going on in their lives. You know, the ones who's photos are in EVERY Mansion newsletter that goes out. Johanna Castro, Barbiee Steph, Tk Torres Torres (A*K*A Kathe Sierra) are a few that come to mind. These broads would live there if staff didn't kick them off premise every night (Barbiee A*K*A Yamii actually was living at Mansion 2 off and on for a while in the room on the bottom floor close to the pool).
Then there are those chicas that actually have shit going for them outside of hooking at the Mansion that only come there occasionally, like during Super Bowl, 4th of July, Halloween, etc. These are the chicas most concerned about where I am staying when I ask them to visit, and are relieved once I tell them I have an apartment and am not staying at the Mansion.
Also, it was on my last trip that a chica introduced me to a word I had never heard before: "Viejito." She said she was disgusted that there are so many "viejitos" at the mansion that wanted to fuck her.
It's fucked up, but that's how she felt about it. Not my words.

It's fucked up, but that's how she felt about it. Not my words.Yeah these are your words! Who the fuck cares about what some thinks? For you to quote her here is to hit older dudes below the belt, that's the purpose or maybe to enlighten us older guys of who we're really dealing with. Either way your info here and now does nothing to improve anyone's time in Meddy, your info is meant to malign older dudes, congrats bro, well done!
I thought better of you, too bad you need to pass on negative bullshit that helps no one.
This forum should be a positive place for all interested in Medellin, young, old, big, small, attractive, unattractive, pro, non pro.
But hitting below the belt is easy and the Medellin Forum is ground zero for this kind of (uninteresting) petty shit. Too bad.
If guys like staying at the mansion then that's their business, plain and simple, there is no justification for put downs. None!
But for some here they don't tolerate other methods of operation, everyone has to be like them. In stead of having fun and good connections here we have the put downs.
This place is a joke, a bad one.
Their website - http://casablueroom.com/tarifas.html - indicates 110 k hour. However, this might be old and I read online somewhere that they are now charging 130 k, like Energy. Lots of prices on the casa map seem to be slightly off.
While on the topic of more expensive casas. Their advantage is that they have nicer rooms, amenities and locale.
There really is no point going to these places over centro unless a) you are in the area where said casa is located for reasons other than chica hunting; b) want a more upscale, clean legit massage / shower / room packaged deal.
From my experience, the chicas that are there are not really better quality than centro. Especially since centro has dozens of casas so the numbers game plays out better there.
Also keep in mind that Energy and Blue Room, from what I gather, charge their hourly rate for one round of sex. At Energy, a second round is an extra 50 k. Which is pretty dumb. You can pay the house or you can work something out with the chica while in the room (maybe give her 30 k or something).
Whereas twice is 70 k at New Life, or 60-65 k at others. Quality of chicas is slightly better at Energy (been to New Life about half a dozen times and Energy a couple of times, although, as always different strokes for different folks and YMMV).
So you are paying either 60 k-110 k per hour extra for the room. Quite pricy.
I suppose the best solution is to find a casa that is near a short time hotel in centro that has nicer rooms and a decent hourly rate per room. I guess Yakusa would qualify, but I don't like their lineup.

My original post was in response to another post where the OP was trying to shed some insight as to why chicas may or may not want to hang around the Mansion. I provide a snippet from (one of) the horse's mouth and someone here ends up getting all butt-hurt and I get a "talking to" like we are in grade school or some shit.
I've only stayed at the mansion twice in all of my trips to Medellin and saw no one there who looked any older than Greg, Robert, or Boyd. So if there ARE guys staying there older than those three, how the fuck would I know this information?
I honestly don't know why I bother to post anything to this forum anymore.
Sounds like a chick I'd like to meet.
Personally I have been stunned and amazed at the capacity that some mansion chicks have to service the older guys. Which makes some of the old geezers there down right giddy. What's there to be amazed about. The minimum salary for a Colombian is something like 600,000 pesos a month so those girls can make bank in a hurry. If any one is giddy, it's probably the Chicas! As far "old geezers" well you sound as though you may be a young geezer!
This is not the place I expect to see expressions of amazement and confusion about pay for play realities. There are piles of political forums that have laser focus on it. They tend to be highly judgmental with little to offer in the way of solutions. I respect the NGOs and religious missions for acting to improve living conditions rather than just demonizing people who don't share their political views.

This just in, from a source I trust who doesn't like to post here:
Barcelona (calle 59 #50-12):
Older, bottom heavier ladies with a 3,000 peso viewing fee.
Zandaly (Carrera 47 #57 a-34).
6 to 8 youngish ladies, mostly slim with pretty faces.
New Life (calle 56 43-39).
A crowded factory with a pay window and roving papas an acting as traffic cop, 8 to 12 hard workers of which the 3 or 4 picks of the litter are hard to get during prime time when the place is so packed it can be standing room only.
Also, it was on my last trip that a chica introduced me to a word I had never heard before: "Viejito." She said she was disgusted that there are so many "viejitos" at the mansion that wanted to fuck her.
It's fucked up, but that's how she felt about it. Not my words. So a hooker you know says that there are many oldies in the mansion that want to fuck her and it disgust her, and you think this information is worth passing on to the board.
Well it's inflammatory Bro. It's worthless, meaningless, gibberish from a dumb hooker and that's all. You don't mention when this insightful hooker friend of yours said this. I was there 2 weeks ago, is this the time she was referring to? The ratio of age (HMP guest) was equally split, 33, 33, 33% so there wasn't so many older guys there to disgust your hooker friend when I was there.
I recently posted a TR (w / pics) on my time at the mansion, most of the responses were generalized and negative about how guys can be so stupid to stay there, this is also offensive to me. But your quote took me over the edge, that guys like me disgust your hooker friend. You don't know me, you don't know my game, and if I want to stay at the mansion I should not be getting grief about it here. This forum is the worst forum for quality information on the Medellin pussy scene and for camaraderie w / like minded gents, most of what I read here is irrelevant.
As for being older there are many advantages and many negatives and that's w / out the insults thrown around the here. I am happy to be getting older (63) because dying is the other option.
It is not easy (getting older) but I will say I can fuck w / the best of them, I can run (not w / the best of them), I can do anything I want including some serious partying and I mean serious.
But I also notice my stamina (2 pops in one session) has left the building. I noticed this on my last trip to Medellin, also that I'm not interested in taking my hooker out to dinner or dancing. I don't have boundless energy anymore. So in general the 60's have been great so far and I'm an a serious hunter of pussy AND I'm am appreciated on many levels by said pussy.
So to close this episode down, I don't repeat stupid shit people tell me on this or any other board. What's the purpose? What's the intent? Is the information worthy of this forum?
I don't knock or insult guys unless they attack me in some fashion and your hooker friends ignorance was offensive to me.
I'm for the betterment of all good hearted mongers. Hope this explains my position, no hard feelings on my side.
Cheers
I'm with you on this one Surfer. Mid-30's and spend half the year in Colombia (small town in the coast). I have a continuously rotating lineup of 22-30 yr olds who have a job and just want to hang out with someone who's educated, traveled, and can take them out for a nice dinner before the motel and maybe some 'taxi' money after (even then what's 50 mil between fuck-buddies).

Because apparently the hookers you banged at the Mansion are much more intelligent than the "dumb" Mansion hooker I banged at my apartment. At least you and I have had the opportunity to break out the distinction between the two classes of Mansion hookers on a hooker board.
This shit reminds me of Animal Farm by George Orwell:
"All hookers are equal, but some hookers are more equal than others..."
Oh, and did I mention the word hooker?
It's only Monday folks! Dios Mio!
Anyone ever book a flight on their phone app? I just did. Mde to San Andres. With the novia. Some guys that know me from the Mansion know I split my vacation half / half mansion / novia. According to Socker, we are all on the board only help each other, yet many of us that think and play it differently should appreciate advice from a guy afraid to leave the mansion, that also cries when somebody quotes another? If everybody is here ONLY to help each other, how come so few people post while so many read the info and leave quietly to use it? Do you tell me your hottest girlfriend so that I can also fuck her? Since you are trying to be so helpful, why not just post this chicas name since she already is a mansiin chica? The old geezers can leave her alone and she can be at peace with the young studs. Win win.
I am sure you are not the save a hoe type, so let us know?
Me, I would prefer to lay a well groomed, in shape older woman than a fat, ugly younger woman anytime. Just say'and.
I haven't been back to Medellin in about 2 years. Going back in October. I notice that one of my girls isn't on Fb and I don't see anyone talking about her. Does anyone know if Wendy is still working. Her and Geraldine (aka Demi Moore)?
I wouldn't get too bent out of shape by anything these girls say. They generally tell the client what he wants to hear. They tell the older guys they prefer older guys. They tell younger guys that they prefer them. They tell Black / White / Chinese guys they prefer them over the other group. I wouldn't be surprised if they told midgets they they prefer them over normal height guys. Who cares? Have fun with it.

I've been with the 18-24 girls. Yeah they're a lot of fun I won't lie. But my favorites are 28-32. I just get along better with them. And always seem to have a better connection with them as well. I have an amiga in BAQ she's prob 37 hot MILF in all the right places. I always make a day for her if I'm in that area. Just go out there and enjoy yourself! Thats what these trips are about. You see a guy that needs help translating or going in the wrong direction. Help out a little point him the right way.
Also, it was on my last trip that a chica introduced me to a word I had never heard before: "Viejito." She said she was disgusted that there are so many "viejitos" at the mansion that wanted to fuck her.
It's fucked up, but that's how she felt about it. Not my words.I have in fact serviced some hookers who looked at this viejito with disdain probably wishing for a younger client (has never happened in Med though). These chicas I try to bang extra hard and long and most of them usually end up crying out in exctasy.

Savepro,
Since you are trying to be so helpful, why not just post this chicas name since she already is a mansiin chica? The old geezers can leave her alone and she can be at peace with the young studs. Win win.
I am sure you are not the save a hoe type, so let us know?
Well, she said that was her first and last time going to the Mansion, so not sure how much help that would be to anyone.
Plus, I'm not willing to aide that inner snitch of yours that I know you are just dying to unleash! LOL.

Great info bro. I found face dos is more like the American stripclub only difference is that you can get down the the stripper. The chicas at fade dos are all tall too. The new guys to medellin will def appreciate you report. I can't wait to go in May.Hi,
Can you let me have contact info for English speaking drivers in Medellin.
Thanks

Also, it was on my last trip that a chica introduced me to a word I had never heard before: "Viejito." She said she was disgusted that there are so many "viejitos" at the mansion that wanted to fuck her.IIn Medellin and in other parts of the country a lot of people add the letters "ito"to things such as mi hermanito, and in this case the prepago has taken the word for old "viejo", dropped the o, and added ito's creating the word Viejito's meaning "Old Gezzers". Important stuff to know! You should be telling the prepagos you are one of the "jovenitos" at the Mansion!
I got here not too long ago and was thinking about them myself. Last time I saw anything from Demi she was taken on a mongering trip and seems she had to post pics of the guy with his hands all over her. Wendy had a clothes shop somewhere but no news from them. If anyone has any recent info please share or pm me privately.

Who cares? Have fun with it.Yeah at the end of the days these girls are hookers and your there clients and as a client all they care about is your wallet and they will tell you anything to make your feel special!
It's 'jovencito' - we wouldn't want his girlfriends to think he doesn't speak decent barrio Spanish.

I too need to scratch off my "bucket list" somehow.
Any help would be appreciated and returned in kind.

I've been to a lot of casas and they have the curtain there for the chicas to peek through. Never seen a chica peek and not introduce herself to whoever was waiting. This is to the extent that in my over dozen times so far in a casa in Medellin I am unsure why they even have the curtain.
Did you ever drill one so good she gave you your money back?I've been with one and gave it good to her all night she never charged me. She's from Maracaibo VNZ. It was my 2nd or 3rd time with her. I made a special trip to CTG just for her. She's about 26 now. Not in the game anymore as of the last 6 mos to 1 year. Expecting a baby from the novio back home.

Anyone ever book a flight on their phone app? I just did. Mde to San Andres. With the novia. Some guys that know me from the Mansion know I split my vacation half / half mansion / novia. I got to say it was pretty effortless booking a flight and I paid with my USA debit card. My exchange rate given for the purchase of the flight was $2623.00 cop. Unbelieveable!! Right? I will report back on the experience after my trip. Was that thru avianca?

I guess Yakusa would qualify, but I don't like their lineup.Went to blue room, never again!
I posted a review of it a while back. Basically the talent isn't that great, the rooms haven't been kept up and the vibe of the place is very drab. Energy all the way baby!
No. Airline name is in the subject. Viva Colombia.
Low cost airline with a growing number of routes in Colombia. I've never tried, Avianca and LAN work fine for me but I can't imagine VC being much different from and other low cost carrier I. E. Spirit, Southwest, EasyJet, AirAsia, FlyDubai etc.

Something like $100 round trip and cheaper if you book 2 weeks in advance. I did a last minute because of paisa drama. Couldn't decide if I wanted to try my luck on my own in Santa Marta or bring sand to the beach. LOL.

From today's El Colombiano:
There is a new airport transfer service between MDE and Olaya (the much closer to town Medellin airport). The one way travel time is 10 minutes! The service starts July 16. The flights leave every 30 minutes. The first flight of the day leaves Olaya at 6 am And the last flight leaves MDE 5:45 pm Here is the best part. The fare is 150,000 COP one way. That is a per person fare. As always, there a catch. You can only bring one piece of luggage and it cannot weigh more than 22 pounds. You would have to pack VERY lightly.
It could be fun to try at only a little more than twice the price of a taxi. Since it only knocks an hour or so off the travel time, it's more of a novelty than anything else. Obviously it doesn't compete well against the collectivos or especially the buses. I think the collectivos are 16,000 or so.
I'm checking girls out on romance latina, is it me, every girl on this site is a web cam girl?Nope, both Romance Latina and Colombian Cupid have I'd say about %10 real profiles. Real as in they have Whatsapp, are not outright putas or web cams or fake pictures.
Got a couple of numbers from Romance Latina with their free seven day trial. No dates. Colombian Cupid I tried out for 3 months for something like $65. Got a lot of contacts on Whatsapp. Dated about 6-8 girls so far, don't remember exact numbers. All really flaky though. Got a lot of web cam requests too. Most chicas mention money or debts or the typical bullshit. A lot of flaking, a lot of what I guess is typical online dating bullshit. Better to just save my time and go to a casa LOL. Pay my 35-40 k, nut, and go back to Poblado LOL.
Also Badoo is absolutely terrible. It is free but worthless.
Better to just meet girls in day to day life on the streets of Medellin. Online has its advantage because it creates a setting where you don't need to approach chicas cold and you can survey a lot of chicas and message the ones whose pictures interest you (sort of like a catalogue). But that advantage is negated by the time and effort you will need to put into it.
But that being said, this could just be me. Colombian Cupid was my first attempt at online dating in my life so maybe I have no idea what the fuck I am doing.
BTW, my favorite response from chicas on Colombian Cupid who are prepagos is "no tengo celular" (I don't have a phone) when I ask them if they have Whatsapp.
A lot of scammers too. Example: one chica I was chatting with she gives me her Whatsapp and then we have a conversation. She starts to mention how she has debts etc. so that is why she works all day 7 days a week running her own "small business". I log in a couple of days later to see her online in the middle of the day and ask her "how's work going" - she forgot who I was and responded "I don't work, I'm a student".
Most of the chicas there will also claim they are students - but they are most likely not. They just need an excuse for the fact that they are doing nothing with their lives and waiting to meet a gringo. You can figure out if they are telling the truth in about 10 minutes of conversation asking them about their subject lol.
I think where I fucked up a little bit with Colombian Cupid is that I took a lot of the chicas there way too seriously and tried to do real dating (and did have some little bit of success) but at the end of the day there really is no point wasting all the time when you can go to a casa for 35k.
Just my 2 cents.
I would try it.

Just my 2 cents.I had almost the exact same experience on all those sites. Except yes I met my novia on CC we chatted for a bit saw her in MDE and so on and so on. But aside from her its all exactly what it says in this report. Save your time and money and just go the casas during the day. Set up dates with girls from FB or Mansion or just regular chicks on the street. Its not that hard. You just have to take the lead. Thats how its done in S America. Just my 2 pesos.

I did however meet 3 or 4 real women, students, single mom's ect and I had some great sessions with them. I wouldn't pay up or bother with either site until I was within 2 or 3 weeks of my trip.
Spent a week in Medellin with a young friend. I am 58 he is 27 so we had different experiences. Spent the first few days in El Centro at the Nutibara. If you stay there just make sure to get a room towards the back, away from the discotec. That's what we did and it was quite nice. $65 k per day. After arrival in a van from the airport, went to Mondongos on the other side of the river. Very nice, but a little pricey. That same first night he took a girl out of Fase 2, she wanted to drink, at Charlee's, quite expensive. Finally they went to a love hotel, and then she got a taxi for them to come back to the Nutibara. Nice intro to Medellin, glad he survived. That same night we had a few drinks at the disco at the Nutibara, there were some locals dancing, it was amusing. Then about 3 am walked down to Conejitas. Not very nice at that hour. Then walked around the block. Bad idea, but interesting and we lived. Approaching back to the Nutibara, entered a "casino", there were about 10 people around the roulette table. I bet it up with $10 k worth of tokens. People were very nice.
Next day had breakfast near that same casino, right across the street from the Nutibara. En El Centro the young locals can be seen drinking at breakfast time, they haven't been to bed. Nice "bandeja paisa" for about $5. Took a walk down towards "La Minorista", it gets dicier and dicier. Bought some fresh-squeezed orange juice from this lady on the corner, she warned us, but we kept on. It is a sight to see. My young friend had never been to Central or South America, it was quite the wake-up call. Finally got so dicey we had to cross over to a sort of median area. Police put on their plastic gloves and searched two guys right next to us. We got a pass. Walked back, they seemed to have some sort of complicated whistling warning system to protect their drug sales.
Bought some phones. In this regard I will say that things have changed - 3 years ago you could get mugged for a smartphone, but nowadays everyone has one. So you might consider bringing your own phone, it's not the big deal it used to be.
Then not long past noon time went to "Parque del Periodista". That place is crazy fun, particularly if you like to smoke. Never made it back, but it would be awesome at night.
I did continue to take some walks during the daytime back behind the Nutibara. It is quite crazy. It would be good to study for a sociologist, but even though it's interesting it really is just too dangerous.
The next day after another good breakfast, went to try to buy a lighter. The little store didn't have one, but this guy there took us around to find a lighter, the whole time telling me that we needed to get out of there, too dangerous. This I took as a sign, and we got a taxi to head for La 70. (in hindsight it would have been easier and cheaper to take the metro). The cab driver took forever, because he was looking for a hotel that would pay him a commission. It's actually a pretty short ride. Finally I told him to just let us out, and we were on the best part of La 70 in any event.
We sat down to get some food, and there was a little park behind us. We ended up getting a room in a newly-refurbished Hotel Parque 70. This hotel was super. This area is just a few hundred yards from the metro station El Estadio and it is a great location. La 70 is infinitely more authentic than Parque Lleras, and you walk out your door and you are right there. We went to a soccer game, La Verde versus Cali. Happened to sit right next to this group of about 300 crazy kids, sometimes referred to as the "Porra Brava". Amazing experience. Fortunately La Verde managed to come out with a tie game, so no actual violence. Next time I will sit at the other end of the stadium with the people who have shirts on.
We found Energy after some searching, and went there every day. You can walk from La 70, or take a taxi. They do the little parade for your selection, and there are beautiful women there. I couldn't remember their names, so I called out a name and got a lady I hadn't really requested, but she turned out to be quite complaisant, and I was a happy camper. There were 2 "10's" there, one from Medellin and one from Venezuela. It was $140 k for an hour, money very well spent.
There are many restaurants on La 70, and also there is food on the street. You can get steak, slaw and fries on the street, with a drink for about $5 US. Or you can get a more upscale delicious meal at the parilla "Dejame que te cuente".
During downtime, we played 3 cushion at a nice 3 cushion pool hall right there on La 70.
Here's an article that discusses this area La 70:
http://www.medellinliving.com/colombian-story/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+MedellinLiving+%28 Medellin+Living%29.
We had a great time.
Tried locating a casa called Miel or Kassandra. Carrera 65 #32 a-43. It no longer exists. Got replaced now by an auto parts shop. Me: "are you guys a *house". Shop owner: "not anymore". Shame.
Hopped over to Blue Room which is relatively close by out of curiosity. 90 k half hour, 110 k hour, 190 k for 2 chicas. Lineup was below average, there were two decent ones there but only 5 or 6 presented.
You have to negotiate 2nd pop with chica (as explained to me by mamasan). Chica quoted me 60 k (wtf?) - didn't even bother negotiating with her. Was tired and left. I can understand the negative reports. 110 k damage. Not a big deal.
The reason I will not go back there is that the hot water was not working. Which is ridiculous for a casa charging 110 k per hour. Even quite a few casas in centro have hot water. Room wasn't that great. And they are not conveniently located. At least energy is a 5 minute walk from Estadio station.
They charge 3 k per condom. It has a very nickle-and-dime-you feel about the place with service that is not at all upscale for charging 2 x centro.
It also took a while for the chicas to present themselves.
One nice thing is that they present one by one and then they all come and lineup together and repeat their names. This should be a trend in casas.

I'm checking girls out on romance latina, is it me, every girl on this site is a web cam girl? Can't really add much to Onibmab's awesome breakdown of both sites other than to say Romance Latina was legit pre 2013. Since Robert (Mansion) co-owned the site with Jay (the guy that runs RL), Jay and this Rico Suave-looking guy would set up shop at the Mansion and invite a bunch of chicas over to interview and set up profiles for them. RL was unique in that chicas would go there actively looking for gringos. You would find current and former Mansion chicas on there, was well as semi-pros ("college students".
Post 2013 they have let the site go to shit with about of fake profiles and web cam scammers. I don't know why Jay doesn't go through his site and clean house. Probably more profitable to make it look like RL still has lots of talent (inflated, plus they don't do a cleanup of old, 1 year inactive profiles of chicas), which fools guys into paying for a membership.
Colombian Cupid are full of scammers through and through. There are only three flavors on that site:
-Fake profiles
-Chicas looking for Western Union novios (with no intentions of meeting you in person)
-Unattractive MILFs looking for serious relationships
Thanks for the heads up. I like Southwest. I was hoping it would be similar to them. I was not as lucky with the pricing I got 2 roundtrips to San Andres for just under $300 USD.Is that 2 tickets for $300 or each? When did you search for flights? Trick is to log in in spanish and from a location outside of US. Not sure why but as soon as you choose english, it adds gringo tax. I do this on a couple of my trips while in south america.

We had a great time.Highly recommend this area. If you're into dancing, El Suave is a great place. As good as any discoteca in Cali (except Chango).
Omitted this:

Is that 2 tickets for $300 or each? When did you search for flights? Trick is to log in in spanish and from a location outside of US. Not sure why but as soon as you choose english, it adds gringo tax. I do this on a couple of my trips while in south america. My last visit to San Andres was on Copa from El Dorado in Bogota, I forget what I paid but I remember it was too much. Best way to get to S. A. (IMHO) is get to Colombia first, then go on http://www.vivacolombia.co/ the equivalent to our Spirit air, you can get flights for as little as $50/60 each way to San Andres. In fact they probably have the best fares of any of the domestic airlines in Colombia.

I really hate them but they are cheap until you add all the little extra charges so I just avoid them. Southwest, I love. Wish they fly to MDE soon!
The price was for 2 tix.I just looked at a flight out from MDE with 2 weeks advance and looked at some days. Each way was 139900 K COP. Which is $52. Either way, its still reasonable. Have fun in San Andres.
