May be too late for you know, but for others benefit I would say 4 pm -7 pm is generally best from my experience in order to have the largest selection to choose from. If you had a bit more time, and have never been, I would say Amsterdam is still worth a visit. You make some good points and you've been to Amsterdam before but I would say there have always been a lot of 9's and 10's in the RLD in terms of looks. Obviously, there are far fewer girls than there used to be a few years ago. But seeing 9's and 10's is very common, it's what sucks the tourists in to subsequently be ripped off!

Only go there if you visit nice museums or other nice sightseeing.
