Was wondering out for a hunt, started off at 6pm, went to saddle up ... no one was there except the singer and few girls. CMGThe place is actually called "Anthapura" - the innner sanctorum! That is the place where my Vasai GF has been meeting me for quite some time now.

At Mira Road Station, tell the auto guy to take you to "Ananthpura" lodge in Bharati Park and everyone knows it. They charge anywhere between 500 to 1000 for AC room depending upon the traffic and have recently added another wing. One needs to get his own meat, as the lodge does not supply anything.
And yes, very popular in the afternoon.

If you are coming from highway, turn left at Shivaji Statue, and again turn left before the arch with Ritu Park advertisement. Else ask anyone for Bharti Park lane, this is the third or fourth building on the right.

I have been to dahishar only once. Reading few last reports, im little confused about whether Springs is a dance bar or a lodge. Will be in mumbai next month and have some time free in morning to afternoon.

Is is possible to get some action in the springs during this time.

Ditto the same thing happened to me. Based on directions contributed very well out here by fellow mongers went bar hoping in the same area when I was there Mumbai last week. I must agree although the looks and figures of the girls available in most bars are passable with some gems in between however you simply leave thinking over paid for poor services. This is in no mean to disrespect no. of people here on board who have researched a lot to find a such place out of the usual red light district of Mumbai. But the services out there really needs major uplifting. May be if everyone puts in his bit to the management of the bars it could improve. I know most of you would feel whats the difference its going to make after the deed is done and money paid, but if the no. of complaints increases and management may decide to talk to girls about improving their attitudes for repeat business afterall they also must be having their cut from the wages.

I look at this forum not only to share experiance but also to initiate a collective effort from all brothers to not only warn regarding poor services by an establishment or fraud pimps/girls but also to at times bring to notice to management of such bars/providers/brothels for not giving the money's worth.

I am a relative newbie and this is my first post. Have been following this forum for quite some time now and had read about Pinky/Riya in the joint beside Congress House (the one bang opposite the Keneddy bridge underpass). Hi Fellow Mongers,

Had a pretty sad weekend. I stay at town so haven't really had the patience to go try out the joints in dahisar et all. So, as usual on Sat night headed back to Voodoo. This place has seriously deteriorated. I've been to this place about 12-15 times over the last year and the crowd has only gotten worse. The only two passable women were Niki and Neetu (who are regular at Voodoo). Have tried both and haven't had a great experience, so wasnt too keen to try them out. Well. On Sunday afternoon decided to hit a massage parlour. Opened Mid Day and started scanning for potential MP's. I am a regular contributor to Pune Board.

I am going to be in Mumbai for one week in April. I plan to check out red horse, spring and saddle up.

My work is also going to be in Andheri-borivali region itself. So I was planning to stay in one of the hotels in Dahisar area itself.

How safe is this? Has anybody done it before?

Btw, how much the Sai leela / Karan Palace at Goregaon charge these days?I have seen these two hotels next to each other, was going to check out the rate but then changed my plans and didn't get to go to east side any more. Just remember that with today's traffic in Mumbai, Borivali and Andheri are hours apart. I was going to try Dahisar but I had no time or patience for such a long way out through stop-n-go traffic.

Yep...its the same everywhere, if you read bangkok, pattaya, rio or manila or any major monger destination reports in this forum, you will hear the same stories repeated again and again....it seems no one is happy anywhere..even though the quality and quantity vary, things are same

however, if you read reports from the expats who have settled in the place, they all have positive experience...they are happy with the things around..its just that a monger on a short trip will always be short changed anywhere.

When i was in the Philippines some months ago, i had to face the double issues of discrimination and trust..which took some time to clear..but once all the issues were sorted out, it was pure bliss...i had some of my best days in the Philippines.

Time is a factor..else it is all on luck

The do offer accomodation, but will surely buzz you if you wish to have some action. I found the rooms to be quite clean so will surely recommend you. Choosing the gal and the type of service is completely upon you. You would need to clarify things before you pay and close the deal. If anything goes wrong. Call the manager and ask the girl to leave, I tried this once and worked. But the last incident was because I didn't have much time to argue with her, so just rushed off thru things.

Had a real good time with her. But the only phack up was that the never shares her number with a new customer, she asked to me to contact the agency and request a date with her. Got it OG, but my exp with one of an escorts I ordered thru chamadi was quite different, she was quite cooperative and had excellent communication skils. Had a real good time with her. But the only phack up was that the never shares her number with a new customer, she asked to me to contact the agency and request a date with her. There are lots of hotels in Dahisar ...one hotel in perticular i remember when the dance bars room were full :) Sunil Hotel....it is quite good ..it has three or four floors..the ground and first floor i think is for regular guest and day service..but at night the top floor only goes for dance bars customers for ST.

Besides, lots of hotels on the way to Dahisar..finding a hotel near the action will not be a problem :)

If you are coming from pune..there are lots of dance bars in Mumbai pune highway just on the outskirts of panvel..you will find nightrider, goldennight bars, and then kamal which lots of pune folks use as there second home while on a trip to mumbai :)

Special thanks to JubileeJohn's 2007 post.

YMV, but the classifieds in these papers have contact numbers, in case you don't have the time/patience for the hunt in this crowed city (or, if you are navigationally-challenged, as am I). Note that A-Z = BJ+FS; feel free to tell the person (on the phone) exactly what you want, to improve your chances for satisfaction. They will let you know proceedure to get girls into your 4* hotel, as some need elevator access card or permission to enter property -- still much easier than learning Mumbai streets on Short-term visit.

These papers were good source for me in NewDelhi, and will try this week, if my coworkers will not spend so much time at team dinners!

Comments (<--) below are mine, but maybe Jackson will initiate changing the board to USA-style, with sub-forums for the major Indian Cities (e.g. massage parlors, Craigs List, Outcall, Street Workers, etc.) given the small spenders on corporate travel, with minimal local knowledge and short-notice of travel.

Encouraged by some reports about springs and red horse I checked it out. To make a long story short: a bad expierience. I advise you to stay away from these places. Although some girls are really nice there service is disappointing. You have to pay a lot for beer, waiters, pimps, the boss and the girl. Many girls are unwilling to go with the costumer. You have to shower the girls with money to make them go with you. They use any possible and impossible way to get your money. These places are run by criminals. I have seen that one poor guy has been badly beaten up by the waiters. Police raids are frequent although it seems to me that they show up to get there pay cheque.It sounds like you were browbeaten into paying far too much. Yes, the drinks are overpriced, which is not new. But very few (VERY few) girls are in it for the free money. I don't know about other places but most DB girls in Dahisar Check Naka/MiraRoad are working for the 'take-out' and not to chat you up for free money.

I think you were seen as an easy mark. The waiters and servers all work on no salary, tips being their only income. Just because they're asking for money doesn't mean you HAVE to pay them.

I am also surprised to learn that more than a few girls refused to go out with you. I have one question before I continue speculating. Are you Indian? Do you at least look Indian? If you obviously look like a foreigner, that will explain the whole mess you had to put up with.

I'm not promising but I may agree to take you to a place i frequent. Its a bit bottom-of-the-barrel but I can guarantee some degree of respect and there are at least 2 girls who anyone would rate 6/10 in looks (thats sadly tops for this place). As i said any girls you pick up from any bars at first meeting will not be a sure shot run to heaven. You have to pick your spot and play the game.

Called 1:30 AM and was quoted RS 9000 (USD 250) for college girl, RS 10000 for model, "including everything -- no problem." Opted for College girl and was told that she would arrive at ITC Sheraton, near airport, in 15-20 minutes, and I was to meet her in the lobby (to get her past hotel security and up secure elevators).

Today I checked out these two hotels. Both easy to reach from Goregaon station. Just exit over the bridge to the east side. Walk the crowded street away from station until the first bend/crossing. Take right there walk down that street until it makes a left turn. Before the turn on the right side are both hotels side by side.

Sai Leela looks better from outside, but both have same rates. 1400 deluxe double occupancy or 1600 executive deluxe double occupancy (Karan does not mention single/double, so suppose it's same). Extra person 400 :). All A/C. Have not looked into the rooms. Checkout time for Sai is 12 noon, Karan 10 am already. Both Sai palace and Karan are pretty decent. They are next to each other, but do not fight for the same clientèle. Rooms are easily available during day time and they charge 1200 for their best room for 4 hours. On a good day you could get away by paying as less as 800, especially if you/your companion is a regular there.

Sai Palace rooms are somewhat larger and better maintained. These days, they insist upon you entering a full name and address, so better keep one ready!

Both hotels, rooms are clean, both TV and AC work (if not they change promptly). They discourage drinks and if some guests become noisy, they are politely asked to quieten up.

IMHO quite ideal for an afternoon rendezvous. Nights, they are comparatively safe from LE, but still LE does visit them once in a while.

One thing is very clear, don't even ask them for any providers - the manager at Sai just goes ballistic.

This one advertises regularly in Mid Day and name starts with L. It is at the end of a passage in one corner of the building which has shops below and offices above. The owner (or his girl) is Jyoti is quite good looking, but now way beyond her prime. At any time there are 3 or 4 girls and at least two of them at 6+ on 10. Mostly from Mangalore, like the owner. It also offers hair cut and beauty treatment to "family" ladies so you have to behave yourself at least in the outside lounge. 3. Andheri (West) <-- very important, as there is a Shastri Nagar, found by Google Maps, near Goregaon Link Rd and M. Gandhi Rd ... in Goregaon -- wrong f*&%$#^g town!

Once I found the place, about 7:30 PM, Priya greeted me with, "you know the price?" I nodded, due to the great posts here, but she said, 2000 for massage and complete co-operation. I told her that she and Cosmos were world-famous for the Rs 1000, with Rs 300 tip for complete co-operation. She held her ground and introduced 5 girls, looks ranged 5-7 -- I should have known better, but I took the young (21) good-looking one, and agreed on the price ($.6 equivalant).

i have been mongering in mumbai, kolkata and bangalore for quite a few years, though my singular report in this forum so far has been in the kolkata forum.

once, a year back or so, i stayed at a hotel near the airport. this hotel is easy to locate (but i dont want to name it because of le). this hotel is very close to atithi and orchid and has a disco. it was involved in some sort of a scam involving some [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123) case some time back. i guess you can trace it with these hints. it is supposed to be a 4 star joint, but quality wise i will call it bullshit.

right in front of the hotel there are many taxi drivers, who call you and say that they will take you to dbs, discos etc. once i played along with one of them. he was a muslim guy. he took me to a number of brothels in the andheri area saying 'just see' and we came back without action because i found it expensive and not worth it. back at hotel he asked if i would be interested in a disco girl who frequents the disco at the same hotel and he knows her. i said 'yes', but only for 1 hour st. he said she was a top class girl and takes nothing less than rs 6,000. i said forget it. i will pay only rs 2,500 else i am just not interested. it was a saturdaqy night and i had to leave early in the morning next day back to delhi. he said he will try and i went back to my room.

two hours later (at around 10.30 pm) i get a knock in my room and find a rather cultured fair, good looking girl, whose looks were at least 8/10, who spoke fluent english. she asked whether it was me who has talked to the guy. i said yes and called her in.

once inside i told her the terms which i had discussed and said i will pay only rs 2,500 and nothing more. we spoke only in english with perhaps a few hindi words now and then. she was perhaps an anglo-indian girl, but looked more indian than 'anglo'. we chatted for a few minutes and then got into action. she removed here clothes except for the undergarments and hung them rather carefully in the almirah with great care so that they dont get crumpled.

my suggestion to mongers is, go to this hotel, just move around aimlessly near its entrace and you will be flooded with requests from taxi drivers to take you to discos and girl bars. just ask them whether they can arrange a disco girl who come to that hotel. many them will tell you 'no' and that no such pick-up girls come there. but there will always be one/two who will tell you 'yes' but may ask you to wait till after 9.30 pm or 10.30 pm, because many girls come inlate. ask them whether it is allowed in the hotel and they will invariably tell you an empathetic 'yes'. if you dont want to spend time in the hotel, they will drive you to another girl friendly hotel. bargain, and if you are not too unlucky, you will have it. remember, most girls who come to this hotel's disco can speak good english and are pretty poslished or clean.

long report. but i think i have given sufficient hints to locate the place and the modus operandi without naming it. many mongers name places but my sincere request is, please avoid naming places. we will loose them, if you name them.

Kidding about just happening to be in the area, right? I had rickshaw drivers going all over the area, trying to find this place -- asked about 20 locals over course of an hour ... but did finally find it.Nope not kidding at all. They don't generally barge in but will knock the door and (rudely) ask for ID, and also ask if anyone else is with you. They have the muster (which includes your name and the number of people that checked in) so they already know the answers. While you are not obliged to let them in, you can always ask for 5min to dress up and maybe clean up. If they suspect drug use, they will try to enter and examine the room. Their assessment of 'possible junkie' is based on your behavior, how tired/spaced out you look and what they can smell in the room.

In mumbai at least they can book you for sharing a room with a woman who you cannot prove that you're married to. I'm not joking. The law is for something else (not sure what) but this is a twisted 'side effect' enforcement of it which they use to harass people and extort money.

If the hotel is 'affiliated' with a brothel or dance bar, most customers get advance warning which gives you 5-10 minutes to disappear or at least separate yourself from the girl. Just get dressed and get out, no amount of police harassment or jail time is worth getting caught in a hotel room with a CG. You can try and get the girl to meet you in 15 min but don't expect a refund unless she was still dressed when you had to leave.

For the most part if you are co-operative and appear respectful they will just get to the point. If you seem arrogant or disrespectful, they will try to give you a hard time.

The hotel owners also get fined if any customers are caught with prostitutes, so you may get some assistance from them if they are complicit with your arrangement. if you had to smuggle her in, you're on your own.

What can I say, this establishment sets a new benchmark for seediness. Only bars in Nigera and south africa (in the old townships) surpass it. Anyway, there are a few good descriptions of where this place is and how to get their - but my advise is to go to the Taj Mahal Hotel - next to the gate of india (an impressive structure if i ever saw one) walk out the front and turn right. Follow that road (along the water) until it turns right. CRoss the road and its about 20m west. How do you deal with lineups?

I have been in Mumbai several times during last one year. I do make contact with pimps on the net and have met with limited sucess in finding a suitble escorts. Short time in Mumbai is not measured by number of hours the girl will stay with you. Short time means one shot and that is it. Therefore as soon as you are done first time the girls will dress up and leave and there is nothing you can do stop them.

One word of advise that if you call a girl for short time take as much time as you can in preliminaries. Girls will not leave unless you had your one shot, limited to two hour duration.

Panvel, some 40-50 kms from Mumbai and 110 odd kms from Pune.

News is, LE recently raided a bar in v*shi. So situation is very hot.

I tryed to get information from the guy next to me on how this "System" works. Guys would wave a girl over and give her 10 to 30 IR and maybe chat with her for a few seconds.

I got brave and waved what I thought was the prettiest girl over and asked her how the system worked. She actualy spoke good english. She stated that anything is available, but she didn't get off work until 2am. I asked her if I could see her after work and she said yes. She said all I had to do was give the waiter 2,000 IR and he would shower her with the money and she would meet me in my hotel room.

If you have paid 2k then you have been scammed IMHO. Because these girls will only come if you spend about 2 - 5k in the bar on them. And later they will either ask for cash upfront or use and excuse of shopping which you will pay to nail them. The damage could be 2k to 4k. What you had is a routine at most dance bars including the police raid. Actually most of these places work in coordination with the police. You can actually see one policeman right outside the bar. The closing is almost a dramatized police is coming call. Most of the times its just the Police Patrol jeep is right outside the bar and policemen normally don't waste time entering one.

Now regarding laying women at DBs, It would depend on whether you were at a pick up bar or not. Like there is one in Kandivilli which does allow you to pick up. Room available on first floor or you may take her to another Hotel nearby.

There are some bar where you may go for a number of times and spend money on one particular girl to get her attention. Then she maybe ready to give you number or go out with you.
