This report, or one like it, aired on a big southern CA news show a few weeks back.
Yes, the report is very biased. The conclusion that a TJ sex worker who has sex with American men is more likely to have a sexually contacted disease as a result of that sex is erroneous. The woman is more likely to have a disease because she is probably prettier than the sex workers who ONLY get local Mexican men. And she probably has lots more sex than the woman who only has sex with locals.
The report that I heard of (I cannot listen to the one posted here yet because I am at work) made it seem American guys are giving the girls diseases and thus are "dirty." But even if the prettier girls serviced a whole bunch of Mexicans their chances of catching something would go up. that survey was BS is my point.

The only people believing this stuff are the bytch gringas sitting at home or in the car while their husbands are in TJ getting some fine sex. Anyone who knows TJ knows this is just a bunch of baloney.
It's more like the thumpers got together and decided to put some pressure on NPR to air some bad PR in order to discourage mongers (who already know better).
Any monger who doesn't exercize good judgement when it comes to intimate sexual encounters will only have himself to blame if things go terribly wrong. NPR was noticably silent on the fact that you run that risk stateside or anywhere. Mongers need to know the risks and make their own decisions.
So think it through. The report might have been bullshit, but putting the focus on safe sex makes it less than a total loss.

Flying in from Vegas on the 26th and leaving 29th? to drive to LA. Will be staying in a hotel on the US side near the border.
Any one want to hook up and go trolling the zone. Figure a early afternoon and a eve troll.
Anybody see the news report about this - 'A group of armed men opened fire inside Rosarito Beach's police station yesterday.'
I guess one policia was killed. Seems like a lot of gunplay between the police and "a group of armed men" in the TJ area. I remember reading more than one article about incidents such as this in the past year.
Anybody have any ideas on what this is all about?

Yeah, the bad guys don't like the cops getting into their shit. There are some interesting stats on police activity as it relates to organized crime (including narcos) and some government/law enforcement guys actually believe that the bad guys should not win. Too bad they don't have the support of the community.
The Federal Government of Mexico is not doing their part and local law enforcement is feeling the brunt of the organized crime resistance because protection of tourists and citizens is being left up to local law enforcement and that includes doing what they can to control the organized crime. They lack the training, equipment and resources to do the job and, again, the federal government is nowhere to be found.
Calderon needs to wake up.
Here is a link to a story that sums up what went down: http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/mexico/tijuana/20071220-9999-1m20station.html
If you stay out of the drug trade, away from the mess, you'll be out of the line of fire.
Be safe and be nice

Thanks for the insight CJ. It definately sounds like the lack of support from the Feds will continue to have tragic results for the local police. It is surely a bad sign when thugs feel brazen enough to shoot up a police station.

I agree with CJ and some of the the audio tape, I think at this stage of age having unprotected sex is crazy and dumb stupid period!
I have a rule to follow when in the zona, every time I take a girl, I always ask if she does unprotected sex, not because I want to, I just want to hear her answer if she say "YES" but I need more money I say Bye Bye, and I look for someone else, chances are she does it often and your chances of getting a disease are very high, I think we should listen to this important message and also to educate the few mongers looking for BBFS in TJ.
I do not believe the bullshit about Americans giving diseases to sex workers.
I do worry about some bisexuals who practice unprotected sex, those are the ones more likely to share diseases to the girls, controversial yes but true!
I like when the chicas take good care of them selfs, it just makes me feel safe too, I always stay away from needle users, I always check arms, legs and feet for bruises, needle scars etc. If I find any of that shit I walk away and look for someone else.
There are plenty of beautiful and clean girls in TJ, there's no need to get a skank, again I would be worry if a girl offer me BBFS, it's like if she asks me to play Russian roulette with a gun!
You guys can do as you wish, but for you safe and everyone else wear the freaking condom.
Thanks.................

I worry about the bisexuals too as they most likely butt F their buddies and try to do it with the TJ chicas sin condon.
So how often do the chicas imply they do unprotected sex when you ask? I would say most wouldn't admit it before going up so you could most likely miss some that do allow it but don't want to fess up right away.

Very good question!
The good news is 99.9% said they would not do anything without a condom, but there's a few street walkers that offered me when walking the track!
Stay away from the druggies, and some older paraditas the no so good looking, they will do all kind of crazy stuff for money, but you never know, even a good clean girl on the wall can do whatever for the right price, but lucky for us most girls use rubbers, I don't trust some of the old women you find in bars or the wall ,these girls in the mid 30s or more, they just can't compete with younger girls and some will do unprotected sex, most offers I got were from these bunch!
Most will offer BBBJ which I think is still somehow safe, I don't know I'm not a doctor!

One thing to keep in mind about law enforcement in general and their responses: the bad guys have all day, all week or all month to plan their caper. Sometimes they have all year. Some capers were in the planning sages for years.
When they go down, the cops usually have about "0" time to react and during that time they have to assess the stuation and try to remove any danger in it, foil the caper and get the bad guys. That's a tall order when yu are working against a bad guy who has the luxury of planning every move.
The cops try to anticipate the bad guy and what moves he'll make, hence the trainng that never covers every possible scenerio, and the equipment that looks like it was made on Mars. Cops don't grow up until after a year or two on the street. Even then some don't make it a career. Those that do face the reality that getting killed at work is something that can happen to any of them. Try dealing with that over your starbucks eh?
In Mexico, you have all of the above AND the fact that the bad guys are quite possibly ex cops or ex military who know tactics and weapons. They got the cops out-gunned and they are obviously good at tactics. Believing that departments like Rosarito have no members on the SWAT team isn't much of a reach. But the local departments are not charged with dealing with the organized crime or the drug trade; that's the responsibility of the Federal Government and the military who have been asleep at the wheel as far as I'm concerned, and I'm a nobody.
Out-classed and out-gunned. They don't have a prayer. Well, maybe a prayer but that's always after the fact. City departments can do nothing more than take cover and give the bad guys what they want. Those that shoot back are, in reality, fools.
Calderon needs to get the military in here big tine, he needs to organize an assasination squad to go out there are cut the legs out from under this organization until there are no more legs and then rule drugs and crime with an iron fist.

Well yesterday I got to the border around 3pm, and decided to walk to the zona instead of taking a cab. It was the first time that I had walked and it wasn’t all that difficult. At first I wasn’t too sure of my bearings and there was this older guy walking next to me and I thought ‘I bet this guy is a monger, I should ask him for the best route to the zona.’ But I decided against it and sure enough I got a little lost on my way to the zona, too much rubber necking all the stores on Revolucion I guess. Anyway I finally recognized the sign for Hong Kong and knew that I had arrived. I made a bee-line for Adelitas and who should I see when I walk in? That older guy I had seen earlier at the border, he was already relaxing in a booth with a cold beer in one hand and a chica in the other, and here I am just arriving and sweating a little from my protracted trek. Oh well, makes for a funny story nonetheless.
Many hours later when I walked back to the border, I was shocked at the size of the line. I guess I had lucked out on all my previous trips, I’ve never had much of a wait at the border. This time it was insane, there were guys offering to drive people across for 5 dollars but I was totally tapped out, damn the luck. Oh well, over an hour later I was on the 5 north.

Well said, CJ (as usual). But I don't think it'll ever happen. Who says that Calderon isn't on the take, like every other TJ official? During the time I lived in Mexico I learned quickly that La Mordita is a way of life and simply considered a normal "business expense" for those wishing to operate enterprises south of the border (both legal and illegal).
Just got in from a trip to the Zona delivering some presents. Yes, there is Christmas Pussy and the clubs are open. The maseros are so fucking desperate, they're trying to sell each other drinks.
Mostly chicas de campo types in the alley. Few gringos but they have the pick of the litter, what little there is.
LOTS of police activity. They are either conducting free tours of the Zona Norte from the back of the 1/2 tons or they are rounding up rateros like there is no tomorrow. Few cars parked down by CC, I had the entire street to myself.
Again, merry Christmas Mongers.
Jingle Bells.

First off, thanks to all of the veterans who provided such invaluable information. Second, sorry for the length of this report.
Arrival: I parked in the parking lot up the hill behind the Jack in the Box. $5 for 8 hours doesn't seem too bad. Walked across the pedestrian walkway over the border itself. Went through the two sets of metal cattle herding rotating doors. There were barely any people around. I didn't see any police either. Walked past McDonalds and over to the Taxi Libre line and was surprised that there was no one in line and only one taxi waiting. He dropped me off right in front of Adelitas. $5-Parking; $6-Taxi + tip
Adelitas: Wow, 230PM on Christmas Day means absolutely no girls. There was one girl dancing, two standing way in the back corner and about 3 sitting with mongers. There were about 25+ mongers. Ordered my water and sat through a couple of dancers. All of them had about the same body type, a little thick with B/C size cups. After each dance, the girls would walk around for tips. I tipped them $1 and got a good squeeze of their boobies and a kiss on my cheek. At one point, Angela came over and sat with me. She seemed very nice so I bought her a drink. She was a little older than what I would look for but she did have bigger natural boobs. She stroked my little thimble a little bit while I squeezed her boobies. Declined her request for a trip upstairs so I could see if there were any other talent. After the same girls came up to dance again, I left.
$10-2 Waters for me +tip; $9-Drink for her +tip
Hong Kong: I was hoping HK would be better. It was, by just a little. It's a nice touch that they have 2 girls dancing on the right, near the customers, as well as on the main stage. Ordered my water and sat down in the mini-booths to the right. There was a beautiful girl dancing on the side but was stopped mid-way as one of the waiters pulled her to a customer. They were making out within 5 minutes. I should have done that. The girl on stage was very skinny and had no boobs but she could dance. Later on, she even did a dance where she poured beer all over her and where she suspended her self and stuck a lit candle in her poonani. I like the strip club type atmosphere so I went and sat at the stage for dances from other girls. After a couple more girls of the same type that I'm not into so I just wasn't feeling it and left.
$10-2 waters for me +tip
Adelitas: Went back hoping that some more girls might have come back. Once again, all the hot girls were already sitting with the mongers so I sat down and ordered a water. Adelitas seems pretty clean, including the bathroom. Angela came out from the Damas area and sat with me. We negotiated $60 for BJ and multiple positions. Noticed that one police officer walked in twice, once to use the bathroom and once to just walk around the front area. $5-1 water for me +tip
Angela: Paid for the room. She spread the sheet over the entired bed. While we were undressing, she said she has "specials" only if I want them: BJ without condom, BBBJCIM, Anal but no sex without condom. I declined them all. She gave me the towel, broke the soap in half and asked me to wash my hands and my little marshmellow. The last several things have made me feel a little better about her. I took some pics of her and then we got down to business. She put the condom on my little mushroom using her mouth. She wrapped her legs over mine and we started with reverse cowgirl with me just squeezing her boobies (sense a theme here? ). Finished with doggie while grabbing both boobies. Cleaned up and paid her for a fun time. On the way out, tipped the towel boy. $12-room; $65-Angela +tip; $1-tip towel boy
Departure: After exiting the hotel, went to the right past Adelitas to the Taco stand on the corner. Had 5 different tacos and hailed a Taxi Libre back to Linea Sentri. I was dropped off where all the taxis were and saw about 5 police officers. Walked to the border and there was no wait what-so-ever. The wait for cars was insane but at 5PM, no one in line. I walked right inside and only waited 3 minutes to see the Border Agent. He barely looked at my brand new passport and only asked me if I was bringing anything back. $6-5 tacos +tip; $6-taxi +tip
I'm going to have to come back on a Saturday night so I can find better hotties. I also want to try a massage place that gives a decent massage before the fun. Hopefully one of you guys can recommend a place.
TIP for my fellow newbies: Bring lots of $1 and $5 bills. It made my life a lot easier regarding buying drinks, tacos and tipping. No hassles or worrying about cheated on change.
