Like Steve I am also a big fan of the GoogleFi. I have it as a second esim in my iPhone and it works great all over the world.

Typically, I just get a burner phone when I arrive. You will need someone who is local to sign off with their local ID. So for helping me get a burner phone, then I gift them the phone I got. 100% of time their happy to receive it. Plus all the hot garota contacts LOL.

Its no comparison with Dominican women in Brasilian garotas. Its night and day. Last time I went to DR was 18 years ago and for good reason. The new iphones don't have physical sims anyway. So one line is your home line and one line you can use for travel.

The online TIM account says 17 Gb of data in the package. The internet speed and connectivity has been very good. I used 13 Gb for the past few weeks.
