Thanks to all the folks who have been posting great reports.

I checked in to my hotel on Soi 3 at around 10 pm. Took a shower had a beer and was at Nana Plaza by 11 pm. Obviously got propositioned by a lot of ladies / LBs on the way. I read Russians hang out on Soi 3, I walked up and down a couple of times, nowhere to be seen. Some really dodgy looking freelancers around a hotel called Grace.

Asked for my 2nd preference and was flat out refused. Said she doesn't go out of the bar. Weird. Next thing I see she came and sat next to the Japanese gentleman next to me. Repeatedly kept asking him to bar fine her. He refused saying he didn't want to spend the money. She had the audacity to ask me if I would bar fine her now. Was close to 2 at the time and I wasn't having any of it. Politely told her she should continue in her endeavour to only find Japanese men. Called over my 3rd choice. Bar fined her. Told the mamasan 4 k total is too much, she said bar fine is 1000 non negotiable, girl I can negotiate directly. Offered 2000 to the girl, she agreed in a second. Head back to my hotel. She was a 35 year old petite woman. Very playful. Good service. However, 30-35 minutes into the act and she asked me when I was going to finish. I told her with a condom it usually takes a bit longer and she should be patient as it hasn't been that long. She said she wanted to "suck" me and I can enter her again in 5 minutes. Barfine was 700 + 3300 to the girl ST. I think that's normal for a go-go? Or was I overcharged?

3300 to the girl and 500 baht to the mamasan. Yeah they took advantage of you although you could have just said no. Try Twister and RB4 in Nana, Baccara on Cowboy. I can't recommend Crazy House anymore although it is still a hands on, nude girly bar and still fun occasionally. I highly recommend Kings Castle 1 & 2 on Patpong 1 (not Kings Corner 1 & 2 LOL).

You should not pay more than 3000 for ST in any GO GO in BKK or Pattaya. Barfines vary. Kings Castle 1 and Mandarin have high barfines to pay off their agency girls (1400 & 1500 respectively). I only buy drinks for my girl unless one of her girlfriends is really nice and I think I might want to do her or them together at a later date. There is no need to tip a mamasan. If pressured I say, "later" and they quit asking. I tip certain waitresses at my favorite Go Go's because I know them long time & they know me and give me preferential service. I do tip mamasan Tang at Crazy House because I have known her a long time and she gives me special attention and vip treatment. I give my CH mamasan 100 baht and buy her a drink, but only when I am in the process of barfining a CH girl, otherwise, when I am just looking, she gets nada. She understands my M.O. and is very cool with it.

Have been to go-gos in Phuket and Cowboy, but admittedly, never Nana Plaza. I remember a few years back it felt like the whole area was LBs so I avoided.

Recently saw some positive reports about Billboard so I decided to make it a priority to check out Nana.

Didn't really step into any other go-gos, but there were a good number of hotties milling about outside the doors of each club and on the terraces (and also a fair number of LBs).

Stepped into Billboard on a weeknight and it was busy-- a rotating stage on the left with about 1-2 dozen girls depending on the time (when I first arrived there were girls two rows deep in a circle), clothed in bikinis, and on the right in a bathtub topless girls. Nice looking tits, and all appeared to have nice bodies, but maybe a slight step down in face. On the rotating stage you had for the most part very slender, taller girls, and a variety of styles from very East Asian look to very Thai look, light skin to dark skin, sweet look to sultry and tattooed look. There were probably a good half dozen I would have barfined.

Getting a good seat is hard-- I think the best are either the high top tables in the middle or along the stadium seating on the far wall. The side seating has a ceiling that blocks the view, and the seats at the stage are too too close.

I initially started by ordering one beer. Later, my self-discipline went out the window and I agreed to something like 9-10 lady drinks for waitress, my girl, and mama. Total was way more than I wanted to spend, but lesson learned. Everyone had a good time at least (except for my pocketbook). I selected #99, a cute in the face, Thai look, very slender (and as I found out later, too slender) girl. Nice girl who in the club looked very good.

The main regret is that this girl had a very uninspired performance, even though she was perfectly polite and did not complain. CBJ is a bit of a turn-off. But not a deal-breaker for me. Recent quick survey in Cowboy vicinity: 3 cart bars in Soi 23,1 between Soi 23 and 21 in Sukhumvit road (not recommended) this one. They may attempt to charge you for girl drinks that you did not order. Two wall side outdoor bars in Soi 21 close to Cowboy (essentially the same as a cart bar).

If any really pretty girls I would stop by of course. My old favourite Easy Bar has not reappeared, maybe the odd girl ex East Bar, but not the ones I was interested in.

Som's new location is around the bend from her original Sukhumvit Soi 14 location as you turn right from Sukhumvit onto Ratchadaphisek. Ratchadaphisek is what Asok becomes when it crosses Sukhumvit. So Som's new bar/shop would be essentally across the street from the Exchange Tower in that intersection, just past Sukhumvit, down a small driveway next to the little Asok Bar on Ratchadaphisek.

The new name of her bar/shop is Duangporn Massage or something like that. You will see some ladies sitting outside her shop on that small driveway. BTW, as you round the bend from Sukhumvit onto Ratchadaphisek, you will first encounter another massage shop with uniformed girls sitting outside. That is not Som's new place. Keep going around that bend until you get to the little Asok Bar. Turn right there.
