Which is a better value destination for mongering?

I've visited both places before and I'm aware that Singapore has a higher cost of living than KL. Does that also extend to the hobby?

I am assuming the girls in both places will be largely the same quality (Thais and Indonesians) - so I'm mostly just wondering which will give me more bang for my buck.

For 25-40 on Sundays in the afternoon there used to be 'tea dances' at some pub behind OT where mainly Pinay DHs would hang out, socialise, have fun and maybe go back to the hotel room of some visiting Caucasian for fun of a more intimate kind. I'm going to be visiting Singapore next week. I was trying to do some research on which massage parlors offer extra. I was on Google maps and was looking up parlors near my location. When I was checking out their photos on Google maps, I saw a lot places that posted pictures of their masseuses. All the masseuse were really cute. Wow, thank heaven for ISG. I find myself in SG for 3 nights instead of the originally planned 1 night, so I'm wondering how the place has changed since I was last here in (maybe 2018), because then, it had obviously slid from it's heyday when I was here in 2009 and before.

There isn't even a thread devoted to OT like it used to be (bad sign). The last post was over a week ago (bad sign). I'm in a hotel literally across the street from OT and now your saying Ipanema is not even in there! My how the mighty have fallen! I recall when a Viet girl did the "grab his arm and don't let go" trick on me in Ipanema. I was pissed, but she was actually hot, so I caved. She turned into some really good puss for me, I was not disappointed at all. Later that year, when I was working in Sembawang and the job paid for our hotel, and we could bring in guests for the night! Of course ours were from the mighty Towers! BRIX closed now as well, holy shit!

OK, Geylang is there still. Geylang was never my favorite but for me, it was an alternative. I'm Black so being turned away by the Chinese was never a deal breaker because Thai are there, and Viet were always in the "Tower". But as I now read the Geylang thread, I see CBJ, no kissing, half hour, blah, blah! WTF! I'm not tolerating that BS. I live in Colombia, where it is legal, everywhere, in your face, and yeah, I'm spoiled. The women dress provocatively, get cosmetic surgery, and many work out all the time so they can compete for a man, or not lose the one they have..

There is plenty of action in SG if you live here but it has dried up a bit for casual tourists who looked to places like OT and Brix to hunt. There are hundreds of Thais, Viets and even some Latina and white women at prices ranging from 90 SGD to 500 SGD and up for a good GFE experience. But its all an online scene. There are a also a lot of MPs that offer extras mostly by Viet or Chinese women. Then there is the domestic helper scene with Indo and Filipina maids if you have time for that. On top of that we are 2 hours from BKK, HCM, PP, 1 HR from Jakarta, 3.5 hrs from AC and flights can be had for less than $200 RT to any of those destinations. We can also hop a ferry to Batam. Endless options. So don't feel bad for us.

Brix and its parent Grand Hyatt Hotel have been closed since 2022 for major renovations. look at Ipanema, which is the sole survivor from OT and moved to a downtown location in an office block, promotes itself as a live music venue but has turned out to be pretty much the same pick-up joint as before, expect that the prices are sky-high so most punters and WLs seem to walk away empty-handed. So to answer your question, I'm not sure the 'quality action' has actually moved anywhere.

I don't know how you can be confused whether Brix is open or not? It's definitely not open, and no recent reports here sat it's open. Brix and its parent Grand Hyatt Hotel have been closed since 2022 for major renovations.

I'm hearing Brix and the Grand Hyatt will reopen later this year but nobody is taking bets on if it will be the same Brix as before. Especially as Singapore appears to be cleaning things up in the 'night life' arena, and without OT down the road to provide and encourage the flow of WLs walking between OT and Brix, Brix might just become a boring place.

I had a total of five days to explore, opted for a combination of two days in Singapore and three days in Jakarta. Singapore is a great city with diverse food and culture, it’s definitely worth to spend a day or two to explore, but pricey just like Dubai to monger.

For local Transporation, Singapore MRT is extremely well connected to get around, I purchased 3 day tourist pass with unlimited rides on MRT, LRT, buses which proved to the best decision as I didn't take Grab or Taxi even once.

There were lots of pretty girls at the bar at Marina Bay Sands Casino. Obviously they are looking for punters. Mix of white, Philippine, Chinese. Thai girls. Not sure what the asking price. I am sure many who are staying there pay top prices. When I was a gambler and used to frequently to Las Vegas few years ago I have splurged on good looking girls at the bar depending on how much money I won. Same in Singapore I believe.

As for MRT, you do need to buy tickets anymore. If you have a visa debit card just tap at the entry and gates open. It is cheap. I traveled all over using MRT including airport. No need for taxis.

Although Singapore is known for excellent Hawker Food it is eclipsed nowadays by much cheaper and fresher varieties in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Everything is imported from surrounding countries, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Philippines. If your purpose is to monger and have the option, just skip Singapore and go straight to these destinations where they can be had for more authentic, convenient, and affordable experience.

If you are here on a short layover and want to explore local talent, I would stick to Geylang. Other places Orchid Towers, Ipanema, Little India, Chinatown are more expensive or more or less the same cost as in Lorong houses. See my Geylang Talent field report under Geyland forum. Orchid Towers or Ipanema can set you back by $200 for short-time and $400+ for long-time, whereas Geylang it's $50 for 30 minutes, $100 for an hour for Thai and Vietnamese, and double this amount for Chinese as they considered as exotic here. There are lot of massage spas in Geylang, Burgis malls, Little India, Chinatown -- standard rate is about $60 for an hour, extras are $50 for HJ, and $100 for FS.
