Generally speaking one of the worst times to come to Colombia is Mid April through Mid May that's the rainy period.

Not saying you can't have fun but if you love hitting the Park or Centro looking at hoes that activity is curtailed during this time.

Schedule was working out so it had to be this time for me. But, now, I know why the flight was so reasonable. The flight was still completely packed and I was offered money to take the next flight but I wasn't going to spend a day at the Miami airport just waiting to have fun. One of my fun things to do in Medellin is to walk and just enjoy the local ambiance; that sure has been canceled. What is surprising is that none of the weather apps I have downloaded predicts the rain accurately; I am having tons of beer and coffee waiting for rain to lighten up.

The rain generally begins between 2 PM and 4 PM and it can last up to 12 hours or more. Usually it clears up by 8 PM to 9 PM then resumes in the very early morning until the midday sun begins to push it out. I agree it can eat up a lot of precous time if you are here for only a few days at a time.

This is my third day here and rain is really putting a damper on fun. Went to Centro yesterday when it was a bit clear sky but as soon as the rain started, everything was just deserted. Luckily, found a good spot at a bar out of rain and enjoyed a few beers while waiting for rain to clear. Went to New Life and Energy but talent was low there too. I haven't tried Poblado yet; hoping, rain doesn't ruin that too.

I remember in the past the rain did not ruin the fun. Usually all the girls would be huddled up inside of the entrance to the hotels and the stairways especially in Botero Real and Zona Rosa. Just go looking in all the doorways of the hoteles and ye shall find.

I've been using Cookunity here in the states and I love it! Meals for a week come fresh on ice delivered to your door. Just Microwave. There are many out there these days. HelloFrsh, FreshMart etc.

I wonder if there are similar servces in Medellin,anyone? Thanks.

I mean I take more risk by walking longer distance, and 6 metro stops is easy for me. The shorter distance from metro to Energy spa will have less risk. What I encountered were not someone there waiting for me. I just crossed paths with the wrong people. If you are trying to find bad people in these places, you probably won't find them. LOL. I was in Medellin for several months and it only occurred for the one week period during the end of that stay. If I have left a few weeks earlier, none of these would have happened.

Title. Went to La isla. 50 k cover. What's new is that it's 100 k cover women. I'm assuming usual 550 k for 45 minutes for girl. Saw all new faces. It's hard to say it is fucked. It is a very inefficient market for both sides. You already see that the men aren't sharing. LOL. I experienced it firsthand. I saw girls that should be popular and can charge an arm and a leg based on what I read here but they don't know how things work so they don't have many customers and that keep the price low as long as they are not being shared. Hehe. That is the other side of the coin.

You spend so much time here. You should use that to your advantage to get much better price. But this does not mean you spend less. You are going to spend much more on sex than people that come for a week or two but your CPF/CPN will be lower. The girl will earn more even though they charge less.

IMO its mainly caused by comsumer demand. Foreigners come in to the scene and start paying higher rates than the locals. Some girls suddenly get richer and are enabled to move on. It happened in all major sex tourism destinations that I know of. Medellin is no different. Guys come along and pay COP 200.000 (and often more) for a session, arguing that they can afford it, that it's much cheaper than home, that they don't care etc. But the girls soak it up and then move on. But they will be replaced, until the economy reaches a level where they no longer need to fuck for money, then supply will decline.

This is not the same as saying foriegners push the price of sex up. I am not arguing that.
