I guess I just got lucky the very first time I cam to medellin I met the girl I'm talking about on mileroticos. Because now she left and I can't find anyone else like her. I've spent 10 months here and my preferences have changed by being here. I used to be an ass guy coming from the us. No one is fit over there so people nice booties are rare and when I came here the first thing I did was find a girl with a big fake butt at La isla. I went back so many times to do that one girl. Then I realized that that body type is very common. Then I found the girl I was talking about who has a big rack but has no fat anywhere else on her body and at first I was like she looks good and feels good but she's not that big of a deal. And so I tried to explore and replace her but I always came coming back. And then now that she's not available I understand what I have lost.

Usually you are fat and you have tits or you are skinny and you have ass. Skin why with big tits is rare. And that's the story of how I became a tits guy. I know a girl who has both at La isla but I don't want to keep paying 600 k+ and having to go from laureles to poblado every time and she's only available on the weekends. The hunt continues. I've been entering Colombia for about 25 years.

As far as immigration officials go, some are nice, some are very friendly, and some just aren't.

It's been the same with the locals in town.

Just be cool, and respectful and most will reciprocate.

Obviously the recent press has influenced some, however, there's been flare ups in the past.

The vast majority have their lives, worries, etc.

For me, usually going through immigration is a breeze once you get through the lines which can be long at times. I say Hello, give them my passport and a few minutes later, they hand it back to me with a stamp. Usually they don't ask me any questions and I don't say anything.

I said one thing that was wrong. It is the Colombian phone system that would be tracking you and I would assume that the Colombian authorities would have full access to that. What do you think they would find tracking your phone compared to mine?

Actually, the customs agent last time I was in Cartagena suggested I get a visa so I could be distinguished from guys like you, and I am going to look into it.

So you can see why the customs lady had the change of heart. She saw that I was helping Colombian children and families not hurting them.

But if it bugs you that much, check out the other cities. Bogota has nothing like this, and Cartagena, even with the mayor cracking down on street walkers, does not have the degree of hostility you see in Medellin.

The is worldwide. If you are a single male you are viewed with suspicion! True, especially by other women who judge us.

I even see this at church. If I enter with a lady friend, the staff are all over us with kindness because they see I have conformed to their rules and expectations. If alone I am presumed to have just gotten out of jail and from the prison ministries, so I am a criminal. Sad, but people all around are judgmental, and will not admit it. If you are married and with your family you get an extra bonus of politeness and respect. Being a single male they distrust us.

To repeat, I am at customs in the Colombians only line because it was the only line open. Customs lady is about to let me through. She goes through my passport sees all the Colombia stamps and becomes disgusted and was about to have me go in the foreigner line. Then my gal goes into the biomig electronic line with her daughter and is waving and smiling at me. Customs agent totally changes her tune, smiles, and lets me through. That look of disgust was only in Medellin by the way. I have not seen that look in any other city when I have come into Colombia.

I got a couple of dirty looks and even people outright looking disrespectful when I tried to grab a late-night bite in Laureles, but overall, people are nice. I just don't understand the hostility some locals have with foreigners; most foreigners I met are respectful and keep to themselves, plus we are spending local monthly salary in a day, ergo helping the local economy, so why the anger and disgust? What did some other foreigners do to get to this level? I need some backstory / history here if anybody is willing to enlighten me.

What changed her mind? Well, imagine she has a smart daughter. She helps with her homework every night, and she is going to be someone and improve not just her lot in life but the life of her family and community. Then some rich foreign dickhead comes along, throws money at her, gets her hooked on he drugs, and ruins her life. How would you feel if that were YOUR daughter?

So you can see why the customs lady had the change of heart. She saw that I was helping Colombian children and families not hurting them.

You can blame the kid, make excuses ETC but if you are a parent and this happens to your daughter, you are going to be pissed, and Medellin is a dog eat dog world compared to the other cities and because of that guys here have responded by saying and doing some of the dumbest things imaginable on this forum. I hope that is in part because some of the women have been so horrible.

But if it bugs you that much, check out the other cities. Bogota has nothing like this, and Cartagena, even with the mayor cracking down on street walkers, does not have the degree of hostility you see in Medellin. Medellin does have the country's best looking women though if you want to put up with this.

The "say no to sex tourism" campaign has been around for at 15 years that I'm aware of. That is when I remember the signs going up in high end establishments in Poblado and Laureles. A couple of the restaurants on carrera 33 in Provenza that are popular with upmarket Colombians and with gringos display the signs very prominently at their entrances. Anyway, the over the top reporting emphasis on gringo villains seems to have faded from the press. You would never even know about if you just started reading the papers and watching the local news the past three weeks or so.

If I had to guess then I would say parading hookers around. If is a matter of foreigners not being able to see the forest because of the trees.

You can even just fly to Montreal. Do takeout from a club like Chez Paree, or one of the 5 or 6 well vetted agencies to send to your hotel all day. I think avg is like 180 usd equivalent in cad per hour. Colombianas were easy to find.

LOL. Yeah, I have been told it is easier for a Colombian to get a Canadian visa than an American one. I get the thought process for going to Canada over Colombia now.

I am curious Nounce, because I remember that you spent a lot of time in El Centro and talked about walking around there extensively and to the far corners of El Centro at night: did only just about get robbed one time. While yeah NYC has every vice possible, imo considering all the money there and illegality (big newsworthy sting in the northeast not too long ago, even local politicians weren't safe) I don't think it's worth the premium cost and risk unless you're there and are rich. Atlanta and South Florida are more discrete with plenty of Colombianas, Cubans.

That's a huge one. Of course if you're a Colombian that happens to own the apartment, you did really well. But there's been a lot of press lately about long time renters being displaced specifically by foreigners who are not that price-sensitive (sort of like the newby monger showing up in Gustos for the first time).

It happens more in El Poblado area because high end punters like to take the girls out, but I don't think it happens that often elsewhere. Some girls are self aware and they won't go out with customeri.
