Here in Medellin for the first time. Visited New Life and a prepago online in Laureles. So far something is in the way of enjoyment there is a distinct fishy smell both times.

Am I going to the wrong places?

This is definitely not my experience at all, not even with street girls in el centro. Once in a blue moon maybe, but the majority of them have no odor. This is much more of an issue in Mexico in venues such as zona norte in Tijuana and la merced in CDMX.

In most other Latin America destinations I've been to, the expectation is usually to shower before the fun once you get a girl into the room. Sometimes the shower is together (more fun) while other times the girl wants to shower separately. What's the shower patterns in Medellin when you bring a girl back to your room? And what about at a casa like New Life or Energy or at the rooms within clubs like La Isla?

To date we have picked up 8 people from llars park.

I can't say for sure whether the women in Medellin tend to shower or not. Until now, the ratio was half and half.

There is also a significant percentage of people who shower after sex without showering at first. I think after having sex with a customer, he takes a shower and goes straight to the park to wait for the next customer.

Your advice is golden and it applies before, during, and after the current hype cycle of xenophobic scapegoating.

Locals will show you a smiley face but they do not like foreigners banging their women and that is the root of the issue in Medellin. Foreigners account for less than one per cent of the mongers in Medellin but having become quite visible the locals (some of whom are mongers themselves) have gotten the mayor to invoke the crackdown law per " if it is deemed a threat to public order".

My advice to mongers is to be as discreet as possible as we used to be in the old days.

Regarding the US, mongering in NYC is not too bad right now, just the quality does not match that of Asia or Latin America, my biggest beef.

Another one I met through an agency and she was gorgeous. When I got her contact in insta that's when I realized she is a model by profession and agency is the way to keep low profile to earn money that way. And nothing says "I enjoy my time with no complaints" like an angry post full of complaints.

Changes in local laws, or the enforcement thereof, are things which can affect any visitor. Informing others of the changes is a good thing. Here's an example from the USA:

If you're old enough (and have ever bought alcohol in the US, you remember a time when no identification was needed if you looked old enough. Laws changed to combat underage drinking. Now you can be 60 years old and be refused the right to buy or drink alcohol without your identification. Asking a 60 year old man for identification does nothing to prevent underage drinking, but that's how it's enforced now.

Medellíand has changed and will continue to change. For the moment Medellíand is Loserville. More fun can be had cheaper with prettier girls in many other places now.

Not completely true on your added commentary.

Parque Lleras needs to be "cleaned up" before it becomes another cesspool like El Centro.

What was an amazing place in years past has become a crowded tourist trap. It was soo different 2 months ago on my last trip before the Mayor and locals voicing their concerns. . just ignore the skanks and A holes. Hope for the best and maybe just maybe those who run the businesses there will understand that their reputations are going downhill fast to the lowest denominator.

Yeah PDC, other commenter mentioned Costa Rica being option if paying high in Colombia. Which I agree, if overpaying the 1 girl I couldve took a shorter flight elsewhere. The visiting Colombianas in PDC will take $117 usd equivalent in 2000 Mexican pesos (in cop I meant 460,000 which was confusing). In Cancun 1 HR to North the same girls will charge 3500 Mx pesos $206 usd as a floor, even up to $350+ dude to the big American market there.

Surprised that PDC is cheaper than Cancun. Only time I looked around in PDC it was at a club close to the ferry terminal and it was $200 US minimum. But that might have been due to being in a high traffic tourist area, and my guess is that the rates you are talking about are not the high cost places. But all of that is more than some of what is available in Medellin, such as at the casas where prices are still less than $20 US for a half hour full service.

You have opened their eyes to a solution.

For those looking for this solution, you need to pay attention to where your dates are from as Uber could easily be 90 mil or more round trip if they are from the opposite side of the town. Or the girls would not come this far if she has other choice. Many of the Airbnb buildings in this area are large buildings with families and kids. It's better to ask your dates to not show up like a hooker.
