Ok so it did spend time as that god awful Captain something or other about ten years back due to franchise disputes, but many a happy time was started in that place after you tried your luck elsewhere. Its a pretty fair assessment of the situation.

Highlight of my week is going too EP for a takeaway curry and a few bintangs whilst waiting for it. Although I have discovered 2 bars open, and a few restaurants where you can sit upstairs or out the back and enjoy your 'take-away' meal there. I guess they are paying someone big dollars to remain open.

The WA contacts are all active asking for a little money, I even have my GoClean lady asking for money transfers against future cleaning services. She is kinda cute and if they bill racks up too high I might just have to sacrifice a clean abode for some action, bonus is she can make the bed afterwards.

On a positive note, the roads are empty and I can hear birds singing occasionally. Pollution was at 7 on Labour day, I have never ever seen it that low in Jakarta.

Police don't seem too be harassing anyone, they have their checkpoints setup, but if you have a mask on then they let you go. They are still on full salaries, so they are pretty content as the city is so empty and easy for them to manage.

I live in an area where I can walk around alot and take advantage of that. On my walk I go past the checkpoint and there hasn't been any problems at all.

It might be my imagination, but I am getting alot more suggestive looks from girls, either at the supermarket, or in the apartment lift. I guess everybody is suffering from a little loving due too the lockdown. Or maybe because of the mask wearing I focus on their eyes more now?

Good point on the home-delivery alcohol scene. Vin+, Ismaya group all are having great discounts, which I guess shows what their true margins are on these products.

Away from the P4 P seen, its just a matter of keeping up with WA and trying to discriminate on which girls are best to take a chance with. I am still active in that sense, just managing the risk as best I can.

It also may be my imagination but local people seem to be giving bules a wide berth, it's not just social distancing protocols, I suspect we might be viewed as super-spreaders or something.

Now I mentioned above that the commercially run activity is stone dead but there are plenty of entrepreneurial independent traders out there. Tinder is simply wall-to-wall women asking for money now and if you have a stable of WA contacts you will be finding the same thing. Nothing stays the same and this won't too but it's a jungle out there and I would think quite raw. OS skedadlled to his home nation and brought lady OS with him but the anecdotes keep coming through. I don't have an internet connection in my parents' house by intention. I regularly went to an internet cafe around 350 meters from my parents' house. 200 meters to the main street. The street is a 1 km street from one traffic light to another with 3 you-turns and about 800 meters with a well maintained green grass, plantation and trees. Another 150 meters following the traffic flow but the internet cafe is in the other side of the street. So every morning I regularly walked to the main street and walked following the traffic flow for 100 meters, crossed the 3 lanes street, walked through a 1. 5 meter wide street pavement for 2 meters the street pavement cut the 2 meters street separator and the fence, and crossed the 3 lanes street. Then I walked against the traffic flow for 50 meters. Another alternative is to use the pedestrian bridge of the busway shelter, Halte Busway SMK 57 6-3. Then walked against the traffic flow for 150 meters.

Yesterday, Tuesday, September 4, 2018, I logged out, paid the bill and headed home around 10:40. I walked following the traffic flow for 50 meters. Before I crossed the street I noticed there were two gardeners on both sides of the 1. 5 meter wide street pavement with a grass cutting machine on each gardener. They were both outside the street pavement but they were both pointed their grass cutting machines to the end of each side of the street pavement. They were cutting the newly planted plantation at the end of each side of the street pavement. I saw there were several other gardeners on far left of the left gardeners. I also noticed they all used brand new expensive uniforms, caps and maskers. I knew they weren't the regular gardeners. I recalled the regular gardeners wore different color uniforms and they were old cheap uniforms.

Are you kidding? The action in Jakarta right now is dismal. Every mongering place is shut down. The "black market" is shitty too. Most girls are scared to go with any guys due to corona, so the market is total crap. Tinder is dead. What is happening is that even the girls I have been with many times in the past are contacting and asking for money but don't want to meet up for sex. The government has decided to suspend commercial passenger air transportation services. This applies from 24 April 2020 to 1 June 2020.

Bad bad bad move. A lot of things like medical equipment gets brought in through air transport. By cutting all air links it will become virtually impossible to bring things into the country. Basically I am trading in PPE's at the moment and the main problem is not the equipment but moving it around at the moment. If a country locks all it's air traffic out it becomes nigh impossible.

The Director General of Civil Aviation at the Ministry of Transportation, Novie Riyanto, said that the flight ban is for both domestic (domestic) and international (international) travel.

'For the air transport sector, I first convey the ban on domestic and foreign travel, both scheduled and charter air transportation April 24-June 1 2020,' said Novie, Thursday (4/23/2020).

However, Novie said there would be exceptions for the leadership of state institutions as well as state representatives to international organizations. 'In addition, aviation special organizations for repatriation of Indonesian citizens, foreigners and related to law enforcement and emergency services of flight officers can still be with the permission of the minister.'
