Posts: 963If you spend most of your time in Brazil, then I could understand that. I got the sense that, for whatever reason, the Brazilian woman's attitude toward men and sex is less jaded. Not sure if I am reading that accurately, but it sure SEEMED that way.
BTW, where were these venues where you had such great experiences?

I was thinking more along the lines that you would say something like the police in under countries are cracking down on prostitution, or that foreign prices per hour were skyrocketing. Seems like people, but most especially young women, are just allowing their inner light to shine through technology designed to exploit people and cause addiction. Bit more of a human story than a sex worker story, but still very true.

I think that venues and ladies that provide a quality experience at real-world prices are becoming harder and harder to find. The best thing this forum can provide is where to go in the post-Covid world, because many of the old haunts are played out.

Posts: 720Manny, thanks for the report -- extremely informative.
Does anyone have suggestions for hotel rooms in the same area under $100?
Thank you.

Hey fellas,
Recently got back from a trip to Brazil Salvador and Manaus. It was mostly a general tourism trip, but I was able to punt a couple of times. I thought I would drop a few notes.
I'll cut to the chase -- Platinum was absolutely outstanding. I went on a Monday night, as per Azn Safado's recommendation. His description of the place was spot on, though the prices have changed slightly. The price for the Monday / Saturday special was R690 for a session. No admission price, but minimum R160 drinks expected. Most cocktails were about R65, and the beers R40 essentially US prices.
The pictures on the internet are accurate. Everyone hangs out in the bar and cabanas around the pool. At 8 pm, there were perhaps 10-12 ladies on a Monday night. Despite it being in Salvador, I don't think there was a single Afro-Brazilian girl there. It was all more latino / portugese Brazilians. Most were slightly thik, but not overly so. A few almost slender ones. All quite pretty definitely prettier than the average lady of the night. I think there were 6-8 other guys there, mostly chilling. In fact, I thought them oddly sedate given what was around them.
The facility itself was gorgeous. It is about a 20 minute Uber ride from Barra east of Rio Vermelho. It looked like it was built yesterday. Very elegant and clean. The rooms are very very nice, with dedicated bathroom and a gigantic step in shower. The themed suites are luxurious. There was an S&M suite, a western cowboy suite, and an Asian-themed suite. There may be others, but they were occupied when I got the quick tour.
I have punted a few times since COVID ended, and my experiences had been universally bad. I still think that, unfortunately, international punting is on the decline. Recent return jaunts to classic venues in Costa Rica, Amsterdam and Germany have been very disappointing. This was a very nice throwback. I met a younger, non-thick, generously endowed girl with brown curly hair. If you go, you will know exactly who I am talking about. Nice demure smile. Fantastic GFE. No whining for extra money or tips. No hassle. No clock watching. Very professional. Now I grant you, I may have gotten lucky in my one session. There is always a matter of chance with these things. But the impression I got was that any other sessions would have also been favorable.
I went on a Monday special night, with fixed prices. On other nights, the room price is still fixed, but the ladies can negotiate. Depending on what you negotiate, the value index will drop. But you will still have a great time. And BTW, the girls are under a "no approach" policy, so there is no constant awkward propositioning. You have to call them over.
I stayed there from 8-10 pm. The lineup seemed the same at 10 pm as I was leaving. I would recommend that same schedule, which allows you to stop at Rio Vermelho on the way back for a bite and listening to some good music.
It was a great throwback. Given that it is in Salvador, I don't know if I would call it a "destination" venue, but if you have decided to visit Bahia already, it is an absolute must visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
As for other tips, I want to give a shout out to Nounce. His recommendation for the Monte Pascoal hotel in Barra was spot on. It was dead center in the Barra beach strip, with the beach literally across the street. It was so close that you could literally have just a towel and your keycard and walk over for a swim. There is an official hotel guy there who will put out a beach chair and umbrella and take drink orders, which he will charge to the room. My room faced the beach, so the sounds of the ocean were always audible and lulled me to sleep.
I would definitely recommend a stay there, and definitely Barra over Pelo. Pelo is fun, but its only a 10 minute Uber ride away. Barra is safer at night, cleaner, more laid back, and with the ocean there. Plus, Pelo's famed cobblestone streets and narrow hilly lanes make it a nightmare for cabs to get in and out of. Rio Vermelho is where you go for conventional nightlife. I would recommend a stay from Saturday to Tuesday. Saturday and Monday for Platinum. Sunday for a Bahia football match at the FIFA stadium. Tuesday for Pelo (the big party day).
And definitely take Uber there. Don't bother with taxi's or the bus. Most trips around town were about $5. Even the trip from the airport, which took about 40 minutes, came to about $15. Uber was responsive too never waited more than 5 minutes.
Also visited Manaus for some time on the Amazon. On my last night there, I stopped by Remulos. It was a dump. Stayed for about 15 minutes. There was absolutely blaring music, with the occasional fog horn like at hockey games. Smoke everywhere. But nothing happening! No one on stage. Just people playing pool on the far side. It is very close to the Theater and definitely a safe walk if you are staying near the Theater, but I probably would not recommend going there at all anyway.

Posts: 66Higher scale black and mulatas
Where in Salvador are the higher scale black or mulata girls? No street walking girls and no dirt cheap shaddy places. I mean higher end black girls in clubs and brothels. I know the claim is that Salvador ain't it but with so many black and mulata beauty queens in the city (the black broads on Instagram from Salvador are incredible looking but they're not working girls) I have to imagine that there are places where the better looking higher end one's tend to be. Where is that?

The small and bigger bands at different locations. Barra will be more lively during the weekend. Look up Aruba Bar e Restaurante. The night time activity is concentrated around here for this stretch. You should be able to see the band and some other live music here when it is closer to weekend. Porto da Barra is a good spot on weekend morning to people watch.
I remember I have a picture of the building then I dug out the last picture showing her. LOL
