Thanks for all the useful info. I am heading down to Beijing soon and would like to check out the scene.
After reading through the treads, I jotted down the following few places worth venturing:
1) HRC (Hard rock cafe)
2) Maggie's
3) Pig
4) Whistle

Could anyone help translating those address in Chinese? My trip will completely rely on taxi drivers and so it will be good if I can show him the clubs in Chinese. It will also be extremely helpful with the street name in Chinese too.

Last week I was in Beijing.

The "Fu Jian" Hotel is very Girl Friendly. No questions. Nothing any time.

The rooms are still clean and comfortable.

The Hotel is located at the 3 ring around 5 km far from HRC.

What's a good location for a tourist? And who has a hotel recommendation in the rmb400-500 range.

Some talk recently about girl-friendly hotels. Wondered if people can provide a list of girl-friendly hotels in this city. Hotels that don't ask questions about our companions, don't require extra fee and, if possible, don't require the extra guest to register. Personally speaking, I'm particularly interested in the latter for my forthcoming visit.

Could you confirm I don' t have to pay for the visitor for staying the night? I live in Japan and it is a different rule. You have to pay for the visitor if they decide to stay over night in your single room. Cheers for your informative post!

The same rate is applied whether it is single or double occupancy. In some places like Bangkok, some hotel charges you extra for a joiner, but it is not applicable in China.

I was in Beijing for a few days recently but my schedule was pretty choppy with biz dinners, meetings,
and other things that would always pop-up or get cancelled without any real warning. I didn't really want
to go all the way out to HRC/Maggies since I'm not too familiar with Beijing and didn't feel comfortable not
knowing how much potential time it would take to seal the deal with any gals. I was staying in the Crowne
Plaza near the Olympic Park and there are a few KTVs and clubs within walking distance as well as 5 minute
cab rides. KTV isn't my thing and didn't fit my bill for a quick pickup either and I finally broke down and
called a massage gal to come over to my room after she finished work one night. This wasn't the best
idea since my non-mongering boss and I ALWAYS go to this place and this gal had been heavily flirting
with me everytime and I decided to call her on her teasing. She's a nice gal and not a stunner, but the
sex was GFE all the way and she didn't have condoms and I didn't have condoms and the Crowne Plaza
doesn't have condoms, so...well, I'm just hoping she doesn't go out with many customers and I'll be checking
myself for any symptoms in the next few weeks. Also, that was on the last night I was in town, so the next time
I'm in BJ, I wonder how awkward it's going to be when my boss and I go get a massage at her place of work...
And just to try and make things somewhat clear, I stuffed 300 RMB into her pocket and said "taxi money" when
she left in the morning. No comment from her, but she didn't give it back either, so that's good, I guess...

Other options include the touts who routinely pass out business cards with pics of Japanese AV stars
and mobile numbers for "massage." Actually, this time there were no touts out in the open and only a
couple that approached you discreetly if you are a guy walking alone back to the hotel. Apparently, there
was some policeman who was murdered and it involved these touts. Anyway, I decided to search the forum
for...my own report! Ha ha...luckily, I had listed some telephone numbers a few months ago in the BJ section
and I called up and arranged for a gal to come over. Price started at 600 and came down to 500 RMB / 2 hours
pretty easily. All negotiating was done in Chinese, though.

Gal arrived and was...less than appealing. She wasn't horrible, but being spoiled in South China, she was
a 100 RMB BBS gal and I had a hard time accepting that I would pay this gal 5x that rate. Ended up chatting
with her in a friendly way and found out that the touts are just middlemen and she gave me a direct number
to the mamasan. Price was still 500 / 2 hours but my feeling is that 400 RMB could be easily agreed upon.
I had her send another gal over and I had the same general assessment on her looks as the first. And
both smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which I don't like. Ended up using the 500 RMB on a nice dinner
and massage instead.

If I had more time and a better schedule, I'm sure Beijing offers many more mongering options than I was
was able to take advantage of. If you want those telephone numbers, just do what I did, and search the
forum...

Just wondering if BJ had some good fa langs like they do in Southern China. Something you can pull up in a cab, and then take away.

There are street walkers which are available for a quick auto-pick up. Last time i looked there was no-one around due to some form of police crack down, but i read a report which indicates the mama-sans are back in the sheraton parking lot - so i suspect the SW's are active again.
They are normally on the other side of the HRC towards GuoMao (South) late in the evening - but i have never parktaken of this type of entertainment so have no idea of costs or quality - i would assume its cheap and the girls are not so great - but probabaly similar to the SW's i occassionaly see in SZ and GZ.
There are other locations i have seen them, Kunlun Hotel, Lufthansa Centre, etc - but i have never seen these girls picked up by auto - so i am not sure if this will assist you.
However i have no idea what the taxi driver would say, most of the guys i see pick up the girls in their own car. So make sure you get a male taxi driver at least and carefully test the waters. I assume you speak pudogwa.

The hotel room(4 star hotel) is prepaid on a package tour for 4 nights for 1 person(Single room). I was under the impression if a visitor(whoever it may be) visits you in your hotel room, and decides to stay over for the night, that you would have to inform the hotel reception staff and pay for that person for staying the night in your room. As long as the hotel is girl friendly and does not insist on registering the girl, there is no chance you will need to pay extra. My russian friend normally stays with me for 5-7 days at a stretch when i am staying in a nice hotel and i have never payed any extra (apart for breakfast, room service and mini-bar, which always takes a beating when i have some-one stay over.)

When you search, you have option on how you want results to be shown: Threads or Reports.

First, Jackson and the other gentleman pointed out my mistake about searching. Sometimes I just click the search link at the top of the page which seems to just point to forums. The "Search within this Thread" is much more helpful. My bad.

800 is the MAX you should pay. That figure is the sweet spot for these kind of places that cater to westerners. Most will stay with you through the night, and give you a free pop in the morning. You will even find that some give you head in the morning just to avoid leaving and want to hand around you more. Your cost of the hotel will be the same regardless of if you sleep alone or not, so I don't get your point.

Seems you didn't get it. It's a scam. Once you discover the scam she will lose interest and go. She was never avalable and probably never will be.

I use QQ too and it's good to know that such sharks are hunting in QQ.
