Everyone of us has had a 'first' BKK trip and were tentative, unsure but super excited about what it has to offer. While there are many more qualified than me to give you advise, I'll help by giving you a 'basic' sketch. To get details, you've got to RTFF. Before you read through the below points, do note that, like most things in life, your spend budget decides the experience you get. There are many other variables like time of the year, girl's age, venue, skin color, etc but that is outside the scope of my response.

1) Go Go Bars:

Bars that have 20-30-50-100 girls that are available for you to pick up. As you enter, a mamasan (the manager) or a server will guide you to a seat and ask for your drink order. Once that is on the table, they will send across a couple girls to entertain you (or you can ask them to send one that you are interested in). The girl comes, introductions happen, and she will ask if you can buy her a drink. You buy her a drink if you are interested and want to see if you want to progress further in the game. Once the drink comes, she'll generally get more playful, etc. You then find out more about her and her rates, services offered, etc. Also check with her on the bar-fine (a charge to the bar to take her out). In recent years, there has been a slow, but steady movement towards coyotes (prettier girls there to attract you, but not available for you to pick up) - so please check if they are 'bar-fineable' before you start buying those drinks.

There are several oilies which provides BBBJ and CIM. You just need to ask for that before you take a lady. In most places, they will tell you which girls will do it and which not. In some places, you may have to pay extra for CIM part.

The two main areas for these bars are The Nana Plaza on Sukhumvit Soi 4, and Soi Cowboy very close to the Asoke / Terminal 21 intersection on Sukhmvit. It is a 15 odd minute walk between these two areas.

2) BJ Bars:

There are a dozen or so bars around lower Sukhumvit and a simple Google search will give you locations / websites. Very simple system here. Walk in, choose your girl, she'll take you upstairs, clean you up, suck the juice out of you, clean you up, you pay up and away you go, a happy man! Expect to pay 800-1500 baht for the service. In general, girl quality will be lower than the go-gos. Almost all girls here are also available for full service.

3) Massages:

In principle, you've got two types: Soapies, and Oilies. No prizes for guessing the distinguishing features of each.

Soapies are where you have a large place with tonnes of girls presented to you in the (in) famous fishbowl. Where they are behind a glass wall and you choose them based on the numbered tag they wear. Pricing is generally higher (RTFF for recent pricing) and are dependent on the category of the girl. They have 2-3 different categories of girls. Note that Soapies are dwindling for a variety of reasons.

Oilies are traditional oil massage places where you get all inclusive services for 2500-3000 baht. Many offer multiple pops. Please check the BKK Massage thread for details on this.

Hard to answer that question. Excessive exposed tattoos and piercings are often the only easily visible tells without spending time talking to them. Being ancient and monolingual, I have few opportunities to chit chat with random girls in public in non-tourist parts of Thailand. Easiest way to meet good Thai girls is via dating sites like ThaiCupid, ThaiFlirting, and ThaiFriendly. Many good girls on all 3 of those sites, only ThaiFriendly has many bad girls and those seem to be concentrated in tourist areas (Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Hua Hin, etc).

If you are looking to find a random "good girl" and charm her into bed within 60 minutes, that isn't likely. At least I've never achieved it (or even tried). The "good girls" do tend to sleep with "good men" much quicker than western girls and older men clearly have better access to younger Thai girls than younger western girls.

Dating "good Thai girls" is absolutely possible. I'm really old so I've not had any under 25, but a couple were less than half my age. You won't find these good girls near bars, I found my all time favorite in a coffee shop. Another helped me use the coin payment system at BTS. But, these are normal dating situations where girls are looking to find boyfriends and husbands. I've found plenty of good girls on ThaiFriendly. Expect to take her to dinner and recreational activities. She probably has a normal job, when I ask her to miss work for a day (or longer), I normally give her some money to make up what she lost from her job (not hooker money).
